Struktur Anatomi Batang Empat Spesies Bambusa (B. maculata Widjaja, B. uetuldoide Widjaja, B. glaucophylla Widjaja dan B. multiplex Widjaja) di Kalimantan Barat
West Kalimantan is one of the Provinces with the spread of bamboo plants, one of which is a species of Bambusa. This research aims to know the stem anatomy structure of four species of Bambusa (B. maculata Widjaja, B. uetuldoide Widjaja , B. glaucophylla Widjaja and B. multiplex Widjaja). This researchwas carried out in June 2014 to October 2014. The study used two test samples i.e. bamboo shoots and bamboo culm. The bamboo culms used were the the node and the internode. The results showed that the four bamboo shoots and the stalks had a similar tissue structure that contains the epidermis, cortexand vascular bundle. Two types of bundles found were the vascular bundle type III and type IV. The vascular bundle type III is a type of vascular bundle that consists of two parts i.e. vascular bundle and one fiber bundle that can be found in B. maculata, B. uetoldoide and B. multiplex. The vascular bundle type IV is a type of vascular bundle that consists of a single vascular bundle and two fiber bundles that can be found in B. glaucophylla. The transverse incision of the bamboo culm on thepart of the internode showed that there is sclerenchymatic spathe and on the part of the node has no sclerenchymatic spathe and has two fiber that flanking the bundle
Kandungan Protein dan Kepadatan Sel Nannochloropsis oculata pada Media Kultur Limbah Cair Karet
Liquid waste rubber has potential compounds as nutriens for the growth of microalgae. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of culture media on liquid waste rubber and the growth of cell microalgae N. oculata. The study was conducted from November to December 2013. The culture media used liquid waste rubber with a concentration of 10% 20%, 30% and 40%. The result of ANOVA test showed that the liquid waste rubber have an effect on the proteint content and cell density of N. oculata. The highest percentage of protein content in the culture medium 40% was 30,17%. Microalgae growth in the culture medium 20% with a mean cell density was 112,97 x 108 cell/ml
Uji Antagonis Jamur Rizosfer Isolat Lokal terhadap Phytophthora sp. yang Diisolasi dari Batang Langsat (Lansium domesticum Corr.)
Stem canker caused by the Phytophthora sp. fungus is one of the diseases in langsat (Lansium domesticum).The disease can be controlled using biological agents in the form a rhizosphere fungus which is antagonistic against pathogenic fungi. This research aims to identify the types of fungi from the rhizosphere of langsat and determine the ability of these fungi in slowing down the growth of Phytophthora sp. The isolation of Phytophthora sp. fungus was done by the direct planting method, while the isolation of the rhizosphere fungi by the dilution method and the antagonistic test was performed with a paired method. The antagonistic fungi successfully isolated were Mucor sp.1 F1, Mucor sp.2 F2, Penicillium sp.1 F3, Penicillium sp.2 F4,Penicillium sp.3 F5, Penicillium sp.4 F6, Trichoderma harzianum F7 dan T. viride F8. Based on the research results, there of the growth of Phytophthora sp. was inhibited by the T. harzianum F7 with highest antagonistic percentage 68,93%
Toleransi Tanaman Sawi Hijau (Brassica juncea L.) Terhadap Cekaman Salinitas Garam NaCl
High levels of salt in the soil may cause the disruption of plant growth, especially the crops. Mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) as the main vegetable commodity in West Kalimantan, is grown on soil with normally salinity level. The purpose of this research was to determine the growth response of mustard greens (B. juncea) against the exposure to the NaCl. The research was carried out from August to Oktober 2014. Research was carried out using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of six treatment concentrations of NaCl i.e., 0 ppm, 2,000ppm; 4,000 ppm; 6,000 ppm; 8,000 ppm; 10,000 ppm respectively. The results showed real effects of the treatment onthe leaf area, length of the root, wet and dry weight, but had no real effect on the parameter of the number of chlorophyll. The whole treatment began to to affect the growth of mustard greens on the concentration of 4,000 ppm of NaCl. The range of tolerance of mustard green toward NaCl salt concentration was between 2,000 ppm – 10,000 ppm of NaCl

White Jabon (Anthocephalus cadamba) plant is a kind of tree has a high prospect for the industry forest and reboisation plant in Indonesia. The jabon plant growing is very influenced by sufficient water evaluable so it can influences the anatomy and morphology from Jabon plant. The purpose of this researchis to know the structures of anatomies roots, steem, and white jabon (A. cadamba) leaves that under go the dry problem (KL 25%) and the water overflow (KL 150%). This research started on August to December 2014. Making of organs preparat place is used the paraffin method. The dry tense is caused the measurement of pori xylem cell to cross slicing of roots and steem of white jabon become smaller, beside that the tense of dry is also caused the measurement of cells mesofil tissues to the leaves organs is more smaller with the broken cells. The water overflows tense is caused the cells to korteks tissue roots and steem of white jabon is not become regular and under go the thicking cell layer, and it can not differenciated limit between second layer palisade with spons tissues
Keanekaragaman Jenis Tanaman Pekarangan di Desa Antibar Kecamatan Mempawah Timur Kabupaten Mempawah
The courtyard is a land plot of land located immediately around the house and clear boders, planted with one or various types of plants and still has the ownership and functional relationship with the residents concerned. This research aims to know the kinds of plants and lawns as well as the diversity of the plant communitystructure on the grounds of the house with a different area in the village of Antibar. This research was conducted in May 2014 until August 2014. Sampling location research done by the method of stratified random sampling. The results showed that there are 79 species that belongs to the plant species in six plants plant taxonomy namely Magnoliopsida, Liliopsida, Pinopsida, Gnetopsida, Cycadopsida and Lycopodiopsida. The density of the plants have the highest value in the narrow yard type and the value of the highest frequency on the spacious grounds of the type. The grounds of the plant community structure belongs to have diversity (H ꞌ ) type is high. Composition of plant type between the grounds are spacious and have a high similarity level compared to the other pair of spacious lawns. The form depends on the utilization of wide lawns residents. The grounds are spacious, and the villagers Antibar tend to make use of the grounds to ornamental plants
Bakteri Pendegradasi Amonia Limbah Cair Karet Pontianak Kalimantan Barat
Liquid waste from rubber processing factories contains natural bacteria that degrade ammonia which can be used in the process of treatment of liquid waste of rubber and is capable of oxidizing ammonia. This research aimed to reveal the genera of bacteria that degrade ammonia derived from liquid waste of rubber that was taken from the rubber industry factory PT. Sumber Djantin. The research was conducted in a period of 4 months, from July to October 2014. The bacteria were isolated using the pour plate method, then their morphology was observed macroscopically, microscopically, and in addition, biochemical tests were performed. The identification of bacterial isolates referred to Bergey's Manual of Determinative Bacteriology. A total of seven genera of bacteria found in the liquid waste from rubber factory PT. Sumber Djantin. The seven genere of bacteria were Nitrosomonas, Nitrosolobus, Nitrosospira, Nitrosococcus,Nitrospina, Nitrospira, and Nitrococcus. All are classified into the group of gram-negative bacteria
Analisa Vegetasi Mangrove Di Desa Sebubus Kecamatan Paloh Kabupaten Sambas
West Kalimantan has large areas of mangroves including in Paloh District, Sambas Regency. This study analised community structure of mangrove areas in Paloh District. The research was conducted in January to February 2014. The combination of line and plot method was employed to complete the study. The research found 8 mengrove species belonging to 5 genera. Those genera are are Avicennia, Sonneratia, Rhizophora, Bruguiera and Excoecaria. Rhizophora mucronata (L.) has the highest Important Value Index with values ranging from 53.29 to 101.93. Diversity Index (H') of mangrove vegetation in the Sebubus Village was 1.721 and was classified as moderate. This indicates that mangrove ecosystem in the Sebubus Village was stabile community
Deteksi Bakteri Indikator Keamanan Pangan Pada Sosis Daging Ayam Di Pasar Flamboyan Pontianak
The sellers in Flamboyan market Pontianak sell the sausages without freezing box. This could trigger the growth of pathogen bacteria on the sausages. The aims of this research was to know the safety level of chicken sausages in Flamboyan market based on the amount of Coliform, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella sp. Samples of chicken sausages were randomly taken from 4 sellers as many as 12 packs. The samples were kept in room temperature (28C-30C) for 1 day, 3 days and 5 days. The amount of bacteria was calculated by using Most Probably Number and Total Plate Count methods. The result showed that there were changes on the color, the taste and the texture of chicken sausages at 3rd and 5th day. The number of bacteria from day 1 until day 5 is less than SNI (7388:2009), that was 1 102 CFU/g, > 10 MPN/g and > 3 MPN/g, respectively. It is also known that chicken sausages positively contained Salmonella sp. in every 25g samples
Karakteristik Populasi Katak Sawah (Fejervarya cancrivora) Di Persawahan Sungai Raya Kalimantan Barat
Paddy frogs ( F. cancrivora ) is one the member of the Class Amphibia Order Anura which is important ecologically and economically. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of paddy frog populations (F. cancrivora) which include density, sex ratio, fecundity and gonad maturity level (GML) . The study was conducted from August to September 2013 in the paddy field of Sugai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency in West Kalimantan province. The sampling method was plot method with the size of 20x20 m in wich the samples was directly captured with bare hand. The density of F. cancrivora in paddy fields of Sungai Raya in Kubu Raya regency is 1.01 individuals/m2. The sex ratio of male and female F. cancrivora is 1 : 1.8. Female F. cancrivora can produce 4,808-18,260 eggs in one spawning. F. cancrivora with the body of 5.5 cm in length has entered phase IV of gonad maturity level. The temperature around the site ranged from 240 to 260C and humidity was 65 %. These are good conditions for the development and reproduction of F. cancrivora
