Pengaruh Tawas dan Waktu Pengadukan Terhadap Kadar Fosfat pada Limbah Cair Laundry di Martapura Kabupaten Banjar
Abstract: Effect of Stirring Time Alum And Phosphate Levels In Liquid Waste Martapura Laundry In Central District. One of the wastes produced is phosphate. Disposal of waste which contains phosphates in the water can cause eutrophication processes in the aquatic environment. Therefore it needs proper methods for treating waste that contains a lot of laundry phosphate compounds that safely discharged into the environment. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of alum and alum stirring time on levels of phosphate in laundry wastewater XXX in Martapura, Banjar.This type of research is shaped Experimental research. Design The study design is randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was liquid waste from the laundry XXX Laundry washing process that represents the entire population of data analysis using One Way ANOVA Test. The result of a decrease in the average levels of phosphate in sequence on each variation of stirring time, ie 92.7%; 99.6%; and 96.7%. The statistical test used is One Way Anova test. Merubah Ancaman Bahaya Limbah Cair Industri Tahu Menjadi Peluang Ekonomi
Abstrak : Changing the Threat of tofu Wastewater Hazardous to be Economical Oppurtunities. Wastewater from Tahu industry known as “whey” are offensive and be able to cause negative impact to the environment. This problem is caused by the characteristic of whey which is hot, acid, and containing much organic material. Because of this characteristic, their dissolve oxygen is also zero ppm. Measurement of tahu and tempe wastewater in Semanan, Jakarta Barat showed that the whey contains 1.324 mg/l of BOD5, 6.698 mg/l of COD, 84,4 mg/l of NH4, 1,76 mg/l of nitrate and 0,17 mg/l of nitrite 1). The potential hazard of whey to aquatic life can be measured by counting the concentration of whey’s parameter which be able to cause the death of tilapia (LC50), that is from 3,80% up to 11,5% at 24 hours exposure; 3,67% up to 14,30% at 72 hours exposure; and 3,38% up to 12,10% at 72 hours exposure 2). On the other hand, Acetobacter can change sugar to be vinegar, with byproduct is film coat “nata” floating. Factors influencing Acetobacter growth are sources of Carbon and Nitrogen. Appropriate nutrient content will produce “rendemen nata” (de coco) maximum, that is up to 93,3% 3). This study aims to know does the whey which is added by Acetobacter xylinum can produce nata de soya?. The result gave information that if into the whey added the Acetobacter (made from ripe pineapple) as a starter, and urea in acidic condition, would produce rendemen nata approximately 30%–40%. 4). Hubungan Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Kenyamanan Pekerja dengan Pemakaian Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) di Bengkel Las Listrik Kecamatan Amuntai Tengah Kabupaten HSU Tahun 2016
Abstract: Relations Of Knowledge, Attitude And Comfort Of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) In Las Electrical Workshop Subdistrict Central Amuntai Regency Hulu Sungai Utara 2016. Means work safety and health is one of the aspect protection of the labour to achieve optimal productivity. The means of the implementation of the safety and health of work, use of personal protection equipment (PPE) is a last choice in protecting the safety and health for workers of hazards potential. The results of a preliminary survey shows 60% on 10 workers of the las electrical workshop knowing the benefits and usefulness of the APD. The comfort factor of 80% felt less comfortable. The purpose of the study is to know the relations of knowledge, attitude and comfort with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in las electrical workshop Subdistrict Amuntai Central Regency Hulu Sungai Utara. The benefits of this research are as information materials and evaluation to find out the factors that affect its relationship with workers wearing of personal protection equipment (PPE). The research method used analytic survey with cross sectional design. Population of research to 40 people.Data analysis used X2 (Chi-Square). The results showed : (1) knowledge (p=0,000), (2) attitude (p=0,025), comfort (p = 0.002). The results showed that there is a relationship of knowledge, attitude and comfort with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in las electrical workshop Subdistrict Central Amuntai Regency Hulu Sungai Utara. An increase in oversight activities of las electrical workshops of workers so that workers work safely as wearing the of personal protective equipment (PPE) when working.

Sistem Informasi Geografis Diare Pada Balita Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Banjarbaru

Incidence of diarrhea was always found every year in Banjarbaru. Incidence rate of diarrhea in Banjarbaru in 2009 to 2012 are respectively 20.98, 19.86, and 16.39. The presentation of data on the incidence of diarrhea mainly done using tables and graphs. The aim of the study was to describe the incidence of diarrhea in children aged less than 5 years in the area of Puskemas Kota Banjarbaru using geographic information system. This research is a descriptive study. Four of the eight health centers in Banjarbaru was chosen as samples. All children aged less than 5 years old who suffered from diarrhea in the four regions had been recorded. Furthermore, measurements of the coordinates of the house where there is a child aged less than 5 years of the living was done. Based on data from the coordinates, thematic maps of the incidence of diarrhea was made. The results showed that during the months of January to June 2013, the incidence of diarrhea is solid in the areas of Puskesmas Banjarbaru and Puskesmas Sungai Besar, is width in the Puskesmas Sungai Ulin, and is solid and long in the area of Puskesmas Cempaka. The results showed that during the months of January to June 2013, the incidence of diarrhea is solid in the areas of Puskesmas Banjarbaru and Puskesmas Sungai Besar, is width in the Puskesmas Sungai Ulin, and is solid and long in the area of Puskesmas Cempaka. Proses Netralisasi pH pada Air Gambut di Desa Sawahan Kecamatan Cerbon Kabupaten Barito Kuala
Abstract: The Neutralization Process of pH on Peat Water in Desa Sawahan Kecamatan Cerbon Kabupaten Barito Kuala. Desa Sawahan, Kecamatan Cerbon, Kabupaten Barito Kuala, located in the area of peatlands with a pH of water, based on laboratory results, is 3.0. This condition is classified as extreme acid, because pH less than 3.5. Neutralization of the peat water aimed to change the pH or acidity of the water to be normal (pH 7-8) and could help the next process. To raise the pH of acidic water, quicklime (CaO) or limestone (CaCO3) was very appropriate, because they were cheap and easy to be applied. This study is experimental, the laboratory-scale trials with variations: the concentration of solubility of lime and jartest, to obtain the optimum dose of coagulant for improving the quality of pH. Results of the experiments on the variation of the solubility of limestone with varying concentrations showed relatively similar results, ie at a concentration of 1.0%, the pH of the water became 12.49; at a concentration of 0.5%, the pH of the water became 12.47, and at a concentration of 0.1%, the pH of the water became 12.18. In the next test, the addition of lime solution with a concentration of 0.5% as much as 9 mL in 500 mL peat water sample were able to raise the pH from 4.06 to 7.77. Jar test results showed that the injection of 5 mL solution of lime and alum 2 mL were able to raise the pH of peat water from 4.02 to be 7.24 so as to meet the requirements of drinking water with pH 6.5-8.5. To neutralize the peat water with a pH of 4 is required optimum dose of lime solution with a concentration of 0.5% as much as 5 mL (50 mg/L) and alum solution with a concentration of 0.5% as much as 2 mL (20 mg/L).

Kemampuan Powder Activated Carbon dalam Menurunkan Kadar Besi Total pada Air Sumur Bor di Kecamatan Astambul Kabupaten Banjar Tahun 2016
Abstract: Powder Activated Carbon Capability In Reducing Total Iron Content In Borehole Well Water In Astambul District Banjar Regency Year 2016. Borehole well water in Astambul Regency is proved containing total iron content with physical characteristics such as the yellow-colored deposits and malodorous smell, then it should be do water processing first, which one alternative is using powder activated carbon. This study aims to find out total iron content in borehole well water after given a treatment by adding powder activated carbon according dose variance and contact time. Dependence variable of this study (total iron content), independence variable (variance and contact time with jar test method). This study is true experimental in nature. The study sample is a resident’s borehole well water in Tambak Danau Village Astambul District Banjar Regency. Data analysis is using Two-Way Anova statistical test. The study results total iron content in borehole well water before processing 3.35 mg/L Fe, after processing the decreasing result to the highest dose variance 0.8 gr/L and contact time 30 minutes results to 0.46 mg/L Fe with declining percentage is 76.64%. The statistical test result in p-value 0.000 alpha value 0.05. It means, there is no difference in the decrease of total iron content due to the powder activated carbon dose and contact time variance interaction.

Pengaruh Penambahan Bioaktivator Em-4 (Effective microorganism) dan Mol (Mikroorganisme Lokal) Nasi Basi Terhadap Waktu Terjadinya Kompos
Abstract: Effect Of Addition Bio-Activator EM-4 (Effective microorganism) And Mol (Microorganism Local) Casserole Rice On Timing Of Compost. Composting is the decomposition of organic matter into simple materials is done naturally with the help of microorganisms , but the composting process that occurs naturally long and slow so indispensable ingredient bioactive able to accelerate the composting process. The help of a solution of EM - 4 (Effective microorganism) and MOL (Local Microorganisms) rice casserole that can be accelerated < 2 months . This study aims to determine differences in the addition of EM - 4 bio-activator (Effective Microrganism) with MOL (Micro Organism Local) Rice Casserole to the time of the compost. The method used in this study is experimental which has been experimenting with the observed variables such as time of compost from each - each treatment well control , EM - 4 as well as the addition of a solution MOL stale rice. Then after the data collected will be followed by a test using a One Way Analisys of Variance , the provisions of P value < alpha (0.05). The results showed that the value of p < alpha (0.05) . So there is the effect of the time difference with the help of compost activator EM-4/MOL rice. Then the three treatments of the fastest time of the end of the composting process is treatment with the addition of a solution of the stale rice MOL (15 days). Based on the results of the study can be recommended to accelerate the composting time can be used activator in the form of EM - 4 or with the help of a solution-based MOL stale rice.

Pengaruh Jarak Sumber Pencemar Terhadap Kada Sulfat (SO4) pada Debu Terendap di Sepanjang Jalan Angkut Batubara
Abstract: The Influence Of The Distance Of Pollutant Source On Sulfate (So4) Concentrations In The Dust Along The Coal Haul Road. One of the quality parameters of coal is Sulfur. Sulfur content in coal be able to reach 4%. Sulfur content in coal at South Kalimantan mine ranges from 0.08 – 1.58%. Sulfur can be in the form of pyrite as S2 and sulfate as SO4. Sulfur content in coal dust that floats in the air will fall along with rain. This study aims to determine the effect of distance to SO4 levels on dust along coal haul roads. The sampling point was taken from variation of distance that is 1 m, 50 m, 100 m, 150 m, and 200 m from the side of coal haul road. The results showed that the highest sulfate concentration was at 1 m distance from the side of the road, that was 37.865 mg/L, and the lowest was at 200 m distance from the side of the road, that was 3.405 mg/L. These sulfate concentrations were proportional to dust fall. The farther the sampling point, the sulfate content decreases.

Perbedaan Risiko Lingkungan Pekerjaan Di Kawasan Hutan Terhadap Kejadian Malaria Diantara Pasien Puskesmas Binuang
Abstract: Environmental Risk Differences Occupations In Forest Areas Against Malaria Incidence Among Binuang Puskesmas Patient. Tapin district in South Kalimantan also has forest areas and is malaria endemic. Binuang District is an area with the most malaria cases. In 2012 clinical malaria was found in 364 cases with 197 positive cases. The objective of this research is to know the difference of work environment risk in the historic area against malaria incidence. The study material was the medical record of all patients at Binuang Public Health Center of Tapin District, in the first tier of year 2016. The results showed that not every exposure with vector habitat (forest area) acted as risk factor to malaria disease status. Through Chi Square test, it is not proven that the type of forest encroachment work is related to malaria incidence, X2 count value is 1.875 smaller than X2 table (= 3,841), is at the acceptance of H0. However, gold miners (in forest areas) have a risk of contracting malaria by 29.13 times greater than non-gold counterparts. The calculation result of X2 is 41,76 bigger than X2 table (= 3,841), reject H0. For gold pending workers it is advisable to use insect repellent (repelent) and other mosquito-bitten protective gear while inside the gold repeating area.

Efektifitas Sistem RBC Pada IPAL Pekapuran Raya PD PAL Banjarmasin Terhadap Penurunan Kadar BOD
Abstract : Effectiveness Of Rbc System On Wwtp (Wastewater Treatment Plant) Pekapuran Raya Wt (Wastewater Treatment) Local Company Banjarmasin To Reduce Bod Contents. Increased household activities lead to increase the volume of waste generated over time. Annually, the household waste volume increases 5 million m3. WT Local Company Banjarmasin is a wastewater management company that performs domestic sewage treatment (feces) Banjarmasin city. Application of waste treatment technology on WWTP Banjarmasin is RBC system. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of RBC system on WT Local Company Banjarmasin to reduce BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand). This type of study was analytic. The study design used one group pretest posttest design. The place of study was WWTP Pekapuran Raya WT Local Company Banjarmasin 2017. The study population was wastewater from inlet and outlet pipes. Sample was wastewater taken inlet and outlet pipe tanks. The result showed BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) contents in the wastewater sample before it was processed of 130.97 mg/L, 116.98 mg/L, and 193.45 mg/l. After it was processed of 13.81 mg/L, 20.138 mg/L, and 30.216 mg/L. The effectiveness of RBC system on the reduce of BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) in WWTP Pekapuran Raya WT Local Company Banjarmasin was 89.37% for first day, 80.51% for second day and 83.73% for the third day. There were differences before and after BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) treated by RBC in WWTP Pekapuran Raya WT Local Company Banjarmasin.
