The Relations Of The Intensity Of Noise And Work Term With The Hypertension Case Of The Production Parts Employees In PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk.. Some research results prove that one of the risk factor of stroke is high blood pressure (hypertension). Noise pollution may be associated with the occurrence of hypertention, this is supported by an epidemiological study in the United States. The results of that study mentioned that people exposed to noise tend to have unstable emotions. Emotional instability will lead to a stress. If the stress happened long enough, it will cause the narrowing of blood vessels, so it will make the heart to work harder to pump blood throughout the body. In a long term, blood pressure will rise, and this is called Hypertension. The purpose of this study is to determine the relations between the intensity of noise pollution and work term with the case of hypertension in the production parts employee of PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. Tanah Laut regency in 2017. The research method used is an analytical survey with cross sectional approach. The population in this study is amounted to 57 people and the sample amounted to 57 people. The results of this study indicates that there is a moderate relationship between the intensity of noise pollution with the incidence of hypertension (p-value = 0,002 < α = 0,05 r = 0,407), and there is a low relationship between work term with the incidence of hypertension (p-value = 0,014 < α = 0,05 r = 0,323). Suggestions given to the company is to provide guidance on the use of PPE, perform routine health checks on employees and rotate the position of work on the employee of production

Abstrack: Type of roof, temparature and humidity in the house. The roof is the largest element that receives sun exposure. The type of roof affects the amount of heat energy that can be absorbed of reflected. The temperature and humidity in the room.This study aims to determine the relationship between the type of roof with temperature and humidity in the house in the Badaun village. This research use cross sectional design with variation of roof type was leaf, asbestos and iron sheeting. The study population was 68 houses and was analyzed using Somers'd test.The results showed that the proportion of leaf roof, asbestos and iron sheeting were 36.8%, 10.3% and 52.9%, respectively. Average home room temperature using a leaf roof type of 29.6°C, 32°C asbestos roof and 32.1°C iron sheeting roof. The average humidity of the house that uses the leaf roof is 72.28%, asbestos 55.7% and iron sheeting 57.3%. The results of the analysis using the Somers'd test proved statistically there is a strong relationship between the type of roof of the house (leaves, asbestos and zinc) with the temperature and humidity in the house in Badaun Village, Tapin District. Every home that uses zinc and asbestos roof 27 times the risk (OR = 27) hotter than the house using a leaf roof. Efforts that can be done to cope with higher temperatures and humidity is in the effort to install the ceiling of the house and always open the doors and windows every morning

Lime dust is one of the hazardous dust that is dangerous if left exposed. In the airways can cause airway inflammation. This inflammation can lead to obstruction of the airway so that it can reduce lung vital capacity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of exposure to respiratory dust on lung vital capacity in workers in the limestone industry in Kelurahan Sungai Ulin ,Kota Banjarbaru.
Analytical research design with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were all workers in the limestone industry. Data analysis used simple linear regression tests. The results of the research statistical tests showed no effect of exposure to respirate dust on the vital capacity of lung workers due to the level of dust that is still below the NAB and the normal lung condition of workers. However, it can be seen the tendency of the problem if high dust levels can reduce lung vital capacity. Abstract: Hygiene and Sanitation of Ships Domestically and Abroad. Sea transportation is still an alternative choice in addition to land and air transport because it has several advantages such as greater haulage and lower cost. Along with technological developments, the ship becomes a transport for travel within and outside the country. Probolinggo Sea Port is one of the domestic and international crossing services for passengers and loading and unloading of goods. Supervision of domestic and overseas ship arrivals is aimed at preventing all risk factors of PHEIC (Public Health Emergency of International Concern), especially ships coming from infected areas. This study aims to describe the hygiene of sanitary ships in the country and abroad at the Port of Probolinggo using an observational method with descriptive approach. Sampling in this study using accidental sampling method with the ratio of overseas and domestic ships is 1: 5. The result showed that there were 46,67% aspect which have not fulfill sanitation hygiene requirement on domestic ship that is 80% medical facility, 60% waste, 20% kitchen, 10% food raft room, 10% machine room, 10% food and 10% garbage. While sanitation hygiene on overseas ships inspected 100% has met the requirements on all aspects. In conclusion, domestic and overseas ships are at low risk of transmitting diseases and have differences in meeting the requirements on all aspects examined especially aspects of medical facilities
Pengaruh Penambahan Serbuk Biji Asam Jawa (Tamarindus indicalin) Sebagai Koagulan Untuk Menurunkan Kadar COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) Dan TSS (Total Suspended Solid) Pada Limbah Cair Industri Kecap
Abstract: Influence Of Addition Of Java (Tamarindus indicalin) Acid Seeds Powder As Coagulation To Reduce COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) And TSS (Total Suspended Solid Levels On Liquid Waste Soy Sauce. Liquid waste soy sauce can impact on the surrounding environment such as pollution and environmental degradation. This can lead to poor water quality be unfeasible, the soil less productive, health disorders due to skin diseases and pruritus (itchy skin). One way of processing liquid waste is the addition of java acid (Tamarindus indicalin) seeds powder as coagulation to reduce COD and TSS levels in liquid waste soy sauce. This study aimed to determine the effect the utilization of java acid (Tamarindus indicalin) seeds as coagulation to decrease COD and TSS levels on liquid waste soy sauce. This study was experimental method, data obtained through test of additional Java acid seeds powder of C, sample treatment by jar test and laboratory test of COD and TSS parameters. The results of additional java acid (Tamarindus indicalin) seeds powder by dosage variation (0 g/L, 5 g/L, 7 g/L, 9 g, 11 g, and 13 g) and jar test. Its laboratory test for COD and TSS parameters before treatment respectively were 18.000 mg/L and 673 mg/L, for results after treatment had percentage decrease COD and TSS levels were 68% and 40.96% at optimal dosage obtained 9 g/L. Abstract: Relation Of Drinking Water Management And Household Food With Diarrhea Occurrence. In Kalimantan Selatan, Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah, Kecamatan Batang Alai Utara, Public Health Center of Ilung is spread of diarrhea. By 2015, the prevalence of diarrhea occurrence in Kecamatan Batang Alai Utara is 2.85% and 2.7% (2016). However, the coverage of access to clean water is only about 28%. Report of KKN Labunganak Village RW. 01 Kecamatan Batang Alai Utara, 67% is not carried out water purification in any way by the community, so it is still possible to be a media water borne disease. In the management of household food, only 13% of food is stored in closed shelves / cabinets, so it can become a food borne disease medium.The purpose of this study was to determine the relation between drinking water and household food management with diarrhea occurrence in the working area Public Health Center of Ilung, Kecamatan Batang Alai Utara. The type of research is observational in the form of analytic, research design that is retrospective approach (case control study). The results showed that there was no relation between drinking water management (p value = 0,300> α = 0,05) and household food (p value = 1,000> α = 0,05) with diarrhea occurrence. It is recommended for further investigators to examine other risk factors as causes of diarrhea and can be continued by examining the different communities as control groups

Abstract: The Parental Smoking Behavior With The Occurrence Of Pneumonia Disease. Pneumonia is an acute infection process that affects the lung tissue (alveoli), with symptoms of rapid breathing and shortness of breath due to sudden lung inflammation. Pneumonia is caused by bacteria, Streptococcus pneumonia (peumokokus).The purpose of this study to determine the correlation between smoking behavior with the occurrence of pneumonia disease over toddlers in the region Public Health Center of Sungai Ulin Banjarbaru in 2018. The type of this research was analytical research with retrospective approach with 1: 2 sample ratio. The case population was all families who have toddler with pneumonia diseases with case sampling 31 toddler and control population were all families with toddler not pneumonia with sampling 62 Toddler. The results showed the parental smoking behavior of 63 (65.6%) respondents and pneumonia disease of 31 (32.2%) cases. There was correlation of parental smoking behavior with the occurrence of pneumonia disease in infants with p value = 0.01
Pengetahuan Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri Di Meubel Aluminium UD La Tahzan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara
Abstract: Knowledge of the Use of Personal Protective Equipment in UD La Tahzan Aluminum Furniture in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The results of the preliminary survey showed that there were 50% of 10 aluminum furniture workers who knew the importance of the benefits and uses of personal protective equipment and 50% knew less. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge with the use of personal protective equipment at UD La Tahzan aluminum furniture in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The research method used was an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study amounted to 35 people. Data analysis using X2 (Chi square) test.The results of the study showed that there were 24 people who had poor knowledge there were 23 people who did not use personal protective equipment. Statistical test results (p = 0.007) means that there is a relationship of knowledge with the use of personal protective equipment at UD La Tahzan aluminum furniture in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. Suggestions for future researchers to measure lighting, noise especially the work climate because it is one of the factors that might influence the use of personal protective equipment

Uji Toksisitas Akut Air Limbah Industri Sasirangan Terhadap Ikan Nila (Oreochromis Niloticus)
Abstract: Toxicity Test Of Acute Industrial Waste Water On Tilapia Fish (Oreochromis Niloticus). The sasirangan industrial liquid wastes containing high ammonia and high pH when discharged into the receiving water body without treatment will result in changes in water quality and even the death of aquatic biota so that an acute toxicity test is necessary. This study aims to determine the value of LC50 from waste sasirangan against tilapiaI. This research used the experimental method of Post Control Only Control Group Design design. Samples taken as much as 100 liters of waste in one industry sasirangan existing in the city of Banjarmasin. Concentrations of the sasirangan waste solution to be used in the acute toxicity test are: 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20%. Parameters studied include ammonia, DO, pH, and temperature. To determine the value of LC50 using probit analysis. The results showed that LC50 for exposure time 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours were 14.73%, 10.21%, 8.26%, and 7.35%, respectively. The results of the analysis show that pH and ammonia content of industrial effluent sasirangan affect the death of tilapia fish. This research is hoped that the sasirangan industry does not dispose of its waste directly to the water body but needs to process it first. For further research it can complement the untested parameters such as BOD, COD, and TSS that affect fish survival
