No full textITALIANO: L’articolo esamina il conflitto tra le fazioni fiorentine dei Bianchi e dei Neri, che coinvolse Dante, quale espressione di una cultura della vendetta largamnte diffusa nelle società cittadine italiane. Di tale conflitto si ripercorrono le origini, legate alla faida tra Cerchi e Donati, gli sviluppi, connessi ai legami di solidarietà e ai rapporti di inimicizia tra queste e altre famiglie cittadine e le strategie messe in atto dalle parti fino all’arrivo di Carlo di Valois (1301) che ne segnò l’esito finale, portando tra l’altro al bando del poeta. / ENGLISH: The article examines the conflict between the Florentine factions of Whites and Blacks which involved Dante, as expression of a culture of vendettas largerly widespread in Italian cities. It retraces the origins of this conflict in the feud between Circles and Donati, his evolution, linked to the bonds of solidarity and enmity relationships with other local families and the strategies put in place by the parties until the arrival of Charles of Valois (1301) that marked the final outcome, leading among other things to the banishment of the poet

No full textITALIANO: Il contributo discute la posizione di Dante e Dino nei confronti del regime di Popolo, analizzando alcuni luoghi delle loro opere. Poche e ambigue le tracce lasciate dall’esperienza politica popolana in Dante, sì che il suo atteggiamento si distingue male dal senso culturale di superiorità nei confronti del volgo irragionevole e dal distacco critico sempre più forte nei confronti di Firenze. Più esplicito e circoscritto in una prospettiva municipale è Dino, che critica faziosità e superbia dei magnati, riconoscendo il valore pericoloso di alcuni di essi senza risparmiare accuse di debolezze e falsità ai popolani. / ENGLISH: The paper discuss the problem of Dante’s and Dino’s position towards the regime of Popolo. No full textThis article examines the media coverage that revolved around the murder of the actress Conchita Robles by her ex-husband in 1922. The newspapers of the time narrated the mistreatment that the victim had suffered for years, but also the efforts of the artist to escape this situation and the obstacles that she had to face. Moreover, in the context of the trials we can also see how the murder was justified and how the artist’s moral and sexual behaviour was questioned as an explanation for the crime.Este artículo examina la crónica periodística que se generó alrededor del asesinato de la actriz Conchita Robles a manos de su ex marido en 1922. En las páginas de los periódicos de la época se narran los malos tratos a los que fue sometida la víctima, pero también sus esfuerzos por salir de esa situación y los obstáculos con los que se encontró. Environmental filtering drives the shape and breadth of the seed germination niche in coastal plant communities
No full text• Background and Aims A phylogenetic comparative analysis of the seed germination niche was conducted in coastal plant communities of western Europe. Two hypotheses were tested, that (a) the germination niche shape (i.e. the preference for a set of germination cues as opposed to another) would differ between beaches and cliffs to prevent seedling emergence in the less favourable season (winter and summer, respectively); and (b) the germination niche breadth (i.e. the amplitude of germination cues) would be narrower in the seawards communities, where environmental filtering is stronger.
• Methods Seeds of 30 specialist species of coastal plant communities were collected in natural populations of northern Spain. Their germination was measured in six laboratory treatments based on field temperatures. Germination niche shape was estimated as the best germination temperature. Germination niche breadth was calculated using Pielou’s evenness index. Differences between plant communities in their germination niche shape and breadth were tested using phylogenetic generalised least squares regression (PGLS).
• Key Results Germination niche shape differed between communities, being warm-cued in beaches (best germination temperature = 20 ºC) and cold-cued in cliffs (14 ºC). Germination niche was narrowest in seawards beaches (Pielou’s index = 0.89) and broadest in landwards beaches (0.99). Cliffs had an intermediate germination niche breadth (0.95). The relationship between niche and plant community had a positive phylogenetic signal for shape (Pagel’s λ = 0.64) and a negative one for breadth (Pagel’s λ = -1.71).
• Conclusion Environmental filters shape the germination niche to prevent emergence in the season of highest threat for seedling establishment. The germination niche breadth is narrower in the communities with stronger environmental filters, but only in beaches. This study provides empirical support to a community-level generalization of the hypotheses about the environmental drivers of the germination niche. No full textArtículo que describe un modelo innovador, el modelo ACP-Gerontología que permite evaluar residencias de personas mayores desde el enfoque de Atención Centrada en la PersonaThere has been a growing interest in the Person Centered Care (PCC) involving old people long term care as considered a strategic
approach in social and sanitary services quality.
Firstly, nuclear elements of this approach are described and it is emphasized the need of making them effective in gerontology services.
It is recommended to define PCC relevant components in different facilities not only avoids fragmented applications of the model but
allows progress assessment.
Secondly, different PCC evaluation strategies developed to date are exposed (direct observation of care given, interviews and progress
indicators).
Finally, the PCC-gerontology model is described to be composed by 2 dimensions (personalized care and supportive surroundings)
and an amount of 10 components. It is presented like a referent to guide the application of this approach in gerontology centers. An
integrating model that pretends to overcome the limitations of isolated instruments use by incorporating both, different care actors
opinions (recipients of care, families, professionals and directors/managers) and external evaluation carried by experts.La Atención Centrada en la Persona (ACP) viene siendo objeto de un creciente interés en los cuidados de larga duración a personas
mayores al considerarse un eje estratégico en la calidad de los servicios sociales y sanitarios. En la primera parte de este artículo se
señalan los elementos nucleares de este enfoque insistiendo en la necesidad de hacerlos efectivos en los servicios gerontológicos. Se
recomienda definir los componentes relevantes de la ACP en los diferentes servicios, no sólo para evitar aplicaciones fragmentadas de
la ACP sino también para facilitar la evaluación de sus progresos. En una segunda parte se resumen las distintas estrategias que han
sido desarrolladas hasta la fecha en la evaluación de la ACP en servicios gerontológicos (observación, autoinformes e indicadores de
progreso) y se realizan algunas consideraciones al respecto. Finalmente se presenta y describe el modelo ACP-gerontología, compuesto
por dos dimensiones (prácticas centradas en la persona y entorno facilitador) y un total de 10 componentes, presentándolo como un
referente para orientar la aplicación de este enfoque en centros gerontológicos. Un modelo integrador que pretende superar la limitación
que implica el uso de instrumentos aislados, incorporando tanto la opinión subjetiva de los diferentes actores en el cuidado (personas
mayores, familiares, profesionales y directores) como la evaluación externa por parte de expertos/as
