Comparison of Different Approaches in Reflectarray Synthesis Based on Intersection Approach
This work presents a comparison between a number of numerical techniques for the copolar synthesis of reflectarray antennas. These techniques are based on the generalized intersection approach. The classical phase-only synthesis (POS) is considered using different methodologies to compute the gradient: the analytical approach by exactly calculating the derivative and two numerical methods based on finite differences, one using the FFT and another the technique of differential contributions (DFC). In addition, a direct layout optimization (DLO) for copolar synthesis is also considered. In order to make the DLO efficient, a surrogate model of the unit cell is employed. A computing time study is presented, showing that for copolar only synthesis at a single frequency, the POS technique using DFC has superior performance. Finally, a large reflectarray with European footprint for satellite broadcasting is synthesized, comparing the results obtained with all techniques. This work was supported in part by the Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades under project TEC2017-86619-R (ARTEINE); by the Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad under project TEC2016-75103-C2-1-R (MYRADA); by the Gobierno del Principado de Asturias/FEDER under Project GRUPIN-IDI/2018/000191; by the Gobierno del Principado de Asturias through Programa "Clarín" de Ayudas Postdoctorales / Marie Curie-Cofund under project ACA17-09; by Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte / Programa de Movilidad “Salvador de Madariaga” (Ref. Wideband Reflectarrays with Improved Performances for Space Applications
This work presents the design and optimization of two very large reflectarrays with improved polarization purity for Direct Broadcast Satellite missions in dual-linear polarization. The first antenna is a one-meter contoured-beam reflectarray working in a 15% frequency band providing European coverage. The second reflectarray has a diameter of 1.1 meters and provides coverage for South America in transmit and receive bands. In both cases, the design approach is as follows. First, a layout is obtained at central frequency. Then, using a limited number of degrees of freedom (DoF), a copolar only optimization is carried out in the whole frequency band. Finally, increasing the number of DoF, cross-polarization requirements are also included in the optimization. For the reflectarray with European coverage, a minimum copolar gain of 28 dBi is obtained inn the whole band, with XPI values higher than 31.5 dB. On the other hand, the reflectarray with South American coverage complies with all copolar and cross-polarization requirements with a loss budget of at least 0.49 dB in both receive and transmit bands. This work was supported in part by the Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades under project TEC2017-86619-R (ARTEINE); by the Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad under project TEC2016-75103-C2-1-R (MYRADA); by the Gobierno del Principado de Asturias/FEDER under Project GRUPIN-IDI/2018/000191; by the Gobierno del Principado de Asturias through Programa "Clarín" de Ayudas Postdoctorales / Marie Curie-Cofund under project ACA17-09; by Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte / Programa de Movilidad "Salvador de Madariaga" (Ref. Introduction: In recent years there has been a strong boost of home care, emerging new
devices in various Autonomous Communities to provide socio-health responses to patients
whose best therapeutic location is home. The reasons that have contributed to its strengthening are the development of primary care, the demand for comprehensive care at home, aging and chronicity of the population.
Objective: Evaluate the sociodemographic characteristics and morbidity profile of patients integrated into the home care program of the Basic Health Area of Almassora.
Material and methods: An observational and cross-sectional descriptive study on a sample
of 192 patients, who underwent an exhaustive review and analysis of computerized medical
records.
Results: Two thirds of the sample are women, with an average age of 83.07 years.
Regarding the profile of pathologies presented by patients, we see that the most prevalent are hypertension (80.3%), cognitive impairment (68.8%), cardiovascular diseases (62%), Diabetes Mellitus (44, 8%) and pressure ulcers (42.7%).
The majority of patients belong to level 3 of the chronicity strategy of the Comunitat Valenciana (45.8%)
Conclusions: The profile of the patient studied determines a majority of women around 83 years, belonging to level 2-3 of the care strategy of the Valencian Community, with various pathologies, physical dependence and pressure ulcers. The caregivers are the children or the spouse and do not have barriers to accessIntroducción: En los últimos años se ha producido un fuerte impulso de la atención domiciliaria, surgiendo nuevos dispositivos en diversas Comunidades Autónomas para dar respuestas sociosanitarias a pacientes atendidos en domicilio.

Te literary work of Carmen Conde (Cartagena, 1907-Madrid,1996) written during the post-war period carried out a profound dialogue aboutthe topos of
locus amoenus
by means of one of the spaces to which it is frequentlyattributed, the garden or
hortus conclusus
, and through one of its main elements, the flower. In poems that appear in
Ansia de la gracia
(1945) and
Iluminada tierra
(1951), the garden and the floral imaginary serve to suggest models of femaleidentity that transgress both the passive image of women portrayed by male au-thors and the national identity imposed on women by the Francoist regime. Myarticle develops a theoretical framework from the perspective of feminist literarycriticism in order to study this rewriting and analyzes texts by Conde that arerepresentative of this rewriting.

been few studies exploring the existing patterns of concurrent use of drugs and gambling
in adolescents. This study aims to identify subpopulations of adolescents using diferent
substances and gambling activities, to explore gender diferences and to examine impulsivity as a predictor of class membership. A cross-sectional survey was carried out in 22
high-schools, and 1644 adolescents were assessed (54.1% males; mean age=15.21 years,
SD = .75). Participants reported their last-year frequency of using alcohol, tobacco and
cannabis, as well as bingo, poker, other casino games, sports betting, lottery, scratch tickets and electronic gaming machines. Problem drinking was evaluated with the Rutgers
Alcohol Problems Index, and gambling severity with the South Oaks Gambling Scale for
Adolescents. Impulsivity was assessed using a Delay Discounting task, the Barratt Impulsiveness Scale and the Impulsive Sensation-Seeking Scale. Based on a latent class model
of drugs and gambling activities, four subpopulations of males and fve of females were
found. General impulsivity and sensation seeking were the most consistent predictors of
class membership. These novel fndings support the need to consider specifc groups of
adolescents engaging in diferent patterns of addictive behaviors when implementing selective prevention strategies
Urbanistica giudicale. Spazi pubblici e architetture (XI-XIV secolo)
In the Sardinian Giudicati, between the 11 th and 14 th
centuries, the Giudici commissioned architectural works
and urban projects, carried out an intense activity
at the center of a remarkable crossroads of political
and commercial interests. This study re-evaluates their
role as protagonists and proposes to identify the
outlines of their peculiar way of operating within the
most widespread design trends of the late Middle Ages.
Their international contacts, particularly towards
institutions and governments interested in current
policies in the western Mediterranean, allowed them to
choose and exchange experiences and models, often on
an equal basis
