off-road vehicle in which the engine is located behind the driver. The present
paper discusses the important aspects of designing and development of the
front wheel hub of ATV. This study discusses the design of the front wheel
hub while considering that it should be of light weight and high strength.
This paper discusses the material selection for the hub from the two different
types of material. This study includes the improvement in the design of the
hub with the help of various analyses of the hub. The hub is analyzed in the
various loading conditions to obtain the appropriate factor of safety with the
help of a static structural module of ANSYS software

No full textThis research aims to analyze effects of interest rate on customer satisfaction, effects of service quality on customer satisfaction and effects of interest rate and service quality on customer satisfaction in Majesty Golden Raya Rural Credit Bank. This research used causality descriptive research design by using primary data as its source of data. These research respondents are customers in Majesty Golden Raya Rural Credit Bank. There are 128 active customers in credit transaction as the research samples. Data collection technique used questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive analysis method to describe the research variables. This research also tested data quality, regression equation test and research hypotheses testing. Results prove that interest rate affects significantly oncustomer satisfaction. Service quality affects significantly on customer satisfaction. Interest rate and service quality affect significantly on customer satisfaction. This research conclusion is that interest rate and service quality affect on banking customer satisfaction and to improve customer satisfaction, it is necessary to improve employee product knowledge and soft skills
Overcoming cultural constraints in translating English series: a case study of subtitling family guy into Arabic
No full textSubtitling and dubbing foreign animation in Arabic have been growing since TV screens reached Arab homes. This imposes stricter control and ethical supervision of the used language. This study examines the cultural constraints in subtitling the American animated sitcom Family Guy into Arabic. Family Guy addresses sensitive matters, such as sex, alcohol, religion, and politics, and so it is viewed with concern and caution in the Arab world. The researchers classified the cultural constraints in translation into three main categories: religious remarks, jokes & humour that revolve around proper nouns, and taboos. The analysis shows that the strategies used in translating religious remarks were scene deletion, words omission, and words omission with justifications. For jokes and humour, the translator opted for three strategies, namely, retain unchanged, retain unchanged with added guidance and retain unchanged with detailed explanation. Euphemistic expressions and word omission were the two strategies followed in translating taboos. The study concludes that the target audience has a vital role in determining the appropriate constraints on translation that go in line with their ideology and culture

No full textService recovery is a corrective action that is carried out immediately by the
service provider if the service offered went wrong. The employee is responsible
to handle the situation in order to ensure that the customer who might not be
satisfied with the situation that happensturns to be satisfied. One of the concepts
of the service recovery that have been discussed in the literature is related to
service recovery performance. The researcher defined that service recovery
performance is to focus on the performance of frontline employees. Service
recovery performance is not about a strategy or action to handle a service
recovery situation which among others are an apology, giving discounted price
and compensation but more towards the behavior of the frontline employees
getting engage in resolving the situation. Past researchers have identified that
the management commitment to service quality which represented by several
indicators may lead to the service recovery performance of the employees.
However, the relationship has a missing link. The objective of this conceptual
paper is to further discuss the relationship between management commitment to
service quality and service recovery performance with the present mediating
role of job embeddedness among frontline hotel employees in four and a fivestar hotels. The proposition suggested in this paper may require support with
further empirical findings to be carried out
A transmission control protocol for wireless sensor network.
No full textWireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a hot area of research which is useful in countless applications in various fields of engineering and technology. In WSN wireless nodes are dispersed in a well confined area, and most of the times are static once they are deployed. These nodes are battery operated and their energy goes down as they transmit beacon or informative packets. In past many routing protocols are proposed which tries to minimize the energy dissipation by using various approaches. Till date in proposed protocols information is transmitted in each round, however in many applications such frequent information/update is not desirable, therefore to restrict transfer of packets in each round in this paper a transmission control protocol is proposed, where by varying the load, transfer of packets can be controlled, and this mechanism reduces the dissipation of energy and thus improves, stability period, network lifetime and throughput. The performance evaluation of the proposed scheme is done using MATLAB software and keys features of proposed protocol are highlighted along with simulation results
Follow up in shariah auditing: multiple approaches by takaful operators
No full textThe growth of Islamic finance in Malaysia has been supported by strong financial institution structures and a robust regulatory framework. This include the function of shariah audit which has become mandatory since the issuance of Shariah Governance Framework in 2011 and it recently has been further enhanced in the Shariah Governance policy document 2019. The main objective of the shariah audit function is to provide independent evaluation and objective assurance designed to add value and improve Shariah compliance among Islamic Financial Institutions. To ensure the effectiveness of this function, the shariah audit process must be conducted comprehensively. However, the insufficiency of specific shariah audit guidelines becomes the challenge for auditors to conduct a comprehensive shariah audit procedure including the crucial final stagefollow up process. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to analyse the approaches of follow-up process which have been practised by Takaful Operators in Malaysia. A series of semi-structured interviews were undertaken with the auditors in Malaysian Takaful Operators who were involved directly in the shariah audit process. This study offers in-depth explanation on the follow-up process and provides recommendations on the characteristics of the best practice to be adopted for the follow-up process. The recommendations from the study are useful in enhancing the current shariah audit practices as well as improving the shariah audit quality
Efikasi kendiri dan kebimbangan bahasa dalam kelas pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di sekolah agama
No full textPembelajaran bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa asing mempunyai kaitan dengan faktor psikologi. Faktor ini merupakan kepercayaan, perasaan dan tingkah laku yang dialami oleh pelajar boleh mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran di dalam bahasa asing. Di antara faktor psikologi ini adalah efikasi kendiri dan kebimbangan bahasa. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap efikasi kendiri dan kebimbangan bahasa dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah serta perbezaannya berdasarkan faktor jantina. Juga mengkaji hubungan efikasi kendiri dengan kebimbangan bahasa yang berlaku dalam kelas pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Kajian kuantitatif berbentuk tinjauan ini menggunakan soal selidik General Self Efficacy Scale (GSE) dan Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS). Responden kajian terdiri daripada 420 orang murid yang sedang menuntut di SMKA. Analisis deskriptif dan inferensi digunakan untuk memperolehi dapatan kajian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan tahap efikasi kendiri pelajar adalah tinggi, manakala tahap kebimbangan bahasa berada di tahap sederhana. Tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan efikasi kendiri dan kebimbangan bahasa berdasarkan jantina. Namun terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara efikasi kendiri dengan kebimbangan bahasa. Kesimpulannya, efikasi kendiri memberi kesan kepada kebimbangan bahasa Arab dalam kalangan murid. Implikasi kajian ialah guru bahasa Arab perlu mengurangkan kebimbangan murid melalui pengurusan bilik kelas dan meningkatkan efikasi kendiri murid bagi mengukuhkan pembelajaran di dalam kelas bahasa Arab
