Incorporation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in malaysian higher education institutions: a review
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is initiated for the sake of managing construction projects effectively and efficiently. However, the adoption of BIM in Malaysian construction industry is still low because of lack of awareness among professionals and Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) undergraduates. This paper aims to evaluate the current adoption of BIM in syllabus among higher education institutions (HEIs). The methodology of this paper is based on literature review regarding BIM syllabus adopted in HEIs. The findings reveal that BIM in Malaysia is still lagging in practice and literature taught for academic aspects respectively compared to other developed countries such as United Kingdom and Lithuania. From the current adoption of BIM in Malaysian HEIs syllabus, it can be concluded that fully stand-alone BIM module in Malaysian HEIs is crucial which consequently hampering the production of high-quality BIM expertise that master in methodology and 3D modelling skills
Feasibility analysis of Paya Lombang village for zakat community development program
Poverty is still a problem for developing countries like Indonesia. The majority of poor people in Indonesia live in rural areas. BAZNAS, as an institution that collects and distributes zakat, has a Zakat Community Development (ZCD) program that is a mustahik community empowerment program in rural areas. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of Paya Lombang village in receiving zakat fund assistance through ZCD program and to examine priority dimensions contributing to the highest and the lowest values. This research is conducted by survey method through interview and focus group discussion by using questionnaires. The Multi-Stage Weight Index is used to analyze collected data. The result shows that, with a score of 0.59, Paya Lombang village is feasible enough to be considered
as a rural area to be funded by zakat funds
Novel composite of silver-bacterial cellulose (Ag-BC) from siwalan sap (Borassus flabellifer) and its antibacterial activity
Recently, a wound healing from natural composite with excellent properties is in a high demand. In this study, a novel composite of bacterial cellulose made from Siwalan sap (Borassus flabellifer) was achieved. Siwalan is a common plant in Java Island of Indonesia and the application is very limited for beverage only. This study aims to determine the effect of the AgNO3/NaBH4concentration ratio in the development of Ag-BC composites and its antibacterial properties from Siwalan sap. Ag-BC composites were prepared by impregnating the silver solution into the BC matrix through the reduction process with NaBH4. Characterization of Ag-BC composites conducted using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX). Antibacterial assay was performed using discdiffusion method against Salmonella typhimurium (Gram-negative) and Staphylococcus aureus(Gram-positive) bacteria. The characterization of Ag-BC composite shows the nanostructure of BC with a length of fiber around 35-60 nm in width. The SEM-EDX micrograph showed that silver particles were impregnated into the BC matrix. Antibacterial activity test results showed that the Ag-BC composite had the ability to inhibit the bacteria S. typhimuriumand S. aureus with good inhibition. This result showed the potential application of Ag-BC composite from Siwalan plant as a natural material for medical and pharmaceutical purpose, especially as an antibacterial agent

Merakyatkan institusi zakat menurut perspektif maqasid syariah
menjalankan proses pengumpulan data melalui teknik analisis
dokumen. Secara keseluruhan terdapat tiga keperluan yang
mendorong pematuhan ini iaitu pertama, wujudnya pencapaian
kutipan yang tidak seimbangkedua, meningkatnya aduan berkenaan
agihan zakatdan ketiga, kepercayaan masyarakat.
menyerlahkan kesempurnaan Islam
Driving inclusiveness from the grassroots: the Tambunan inventors
Reviews of recent studies indicated the growing importance of development and attainment of inclusive societies via inclusive innovations. This is especially relevant for addressing the disenfranchised or those at the base of the economic pyramid (BOP). Gaps in the literature pointed t
Isotherm, kinetics and thermodynamics adsorption studies of dye onto Fe3O4- waste paper activated carbon composites
This paper focused on the studying of adsorption properties of Fe3O4-waste paper activated carbon composites for the removal of methylene blue dyes from water. The various parameters were carried out for the adsorption test of the composites, namelycontact time, adsorbent dose, initial MB concentration, pH solution, and temperature. The adsorption of isotherm, thermodynamics and kinetic was used to determine the characteristics of methylene blue adsorption onto the prepared adsorbent. The result indicates that the optimum adsorption capacity has occurred at pH = 6 in water solution. The adsorption capacity increase as the temperature increase until at 315K (45oC). The Langmuir isotherm is more appropriate to be applied as the adsorption model with the maximum adsorption capacity (qm) value of 101 and 93 mg/g for KA HCl-Fe3O4 and KA-Fe3O4 composites, respectively. The value of adsorption thermodynamic parameters was positive for ?H, negative for ?Go and positive for ?So, meaning the process adsorptions were endothermic, feasibility and spontaneity and randomness, respectively. The pseudo-second-order model was appropriate to predict the kinetic models for methylene blue adsorption onto the composites. The obtained adsorbent composites possess high adsorption efficiency and rapid magnetic separation. They were a promising for practical wastewater treatment for dyes removal from water
