Upaya Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Fisika dengan Menerapkan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual: Efforts to Improve Activities and Learning Outcomes of Physics by Applying Cooperative Learning Type of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) with Contextual Approach
This research is a Classroom Action Research about the application of STAD cooperative learning (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) with a contextual approach to increase student activity and learning outcomes. The research was conducted in 3 cycles of action. each cycle consisting of one meeting for 3 learning hours. The research subjects were students of class X MIPA-1 odd semester of the 2016-2017 academic year MA Ihyaul Ulum Dukun Gresik. Student learning activities are measured based on an increase in the average percentage of student learning activities, while student learning outcomes are based on the difference in scores between the pretest and post in each cycle. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the application of STAD cooperative learning with a contextual approach can increase activities and learning outcomes. Increased student learning activities are indicated by an increase in the average percentage of student learning activities and the level of success of actions from 55% (less) in the first cycle and in the second cycle increased to 67% (sufficient), and increased again in the third cycle to 75% (good ) While the increase in student learning outcomes based on the average score difference between pre-test and post-test in the first cycle of 28.7 increased to 34.1 in the second cycle and increased again to 34.6 in the third cycle, while the completeness of student learning in the cycle I amounted to 42% then in second cycle it increased to 62%, and increased again to 73% in third cycle

In general, an education has a meaning as a life process in developing itself to be able to carry out life in the hope of increasing and developing human resources as a whole. Education in the scope of higher education is expected to direct student to be able to think critically, actively, creatively, and be able to solve problems, so that the interaction between lecturers and students is expected to be good and conductive. Effective learning is two-way learning that is between lecturers and students giving real contributions to each other in the learning process. This is line with the development of education today especially in college wheres the learning is centered on student participant,hopefully more active in learning. So many models of learning to increase of student creativity in learning process one of the alternative learning models is the creative problem solving learning model. This study has a goal that is to improve student activity and problem solving skills in strategy management learning. And the method used in this study is to use two cycles of classromm action research method at level III student of the economic education study program at the Nusantara PGRI University Kediri. From the research that has been done, it can be conclusion that in general the application of activity problem solving can improve student activeness and problem solving skills in strategy management learning

The involvement of teaching materials for the ongoing teaching and learning activities in schools is very important, especially teaching materials that have appeal and are arranged creatively for use by students. This attraction will encourage students to be more enthusiastic about learning. The motivations of students are inseparable from the role of educators in choosing teaching materials that are appropriate to the needs of their students. Educators also need to develop self-creativity to be able to create creative teaching materials. Teaching materials in the form of teaching books are generally in the form of textbooks and student worksheets so that the tendency of students to be lazy and bored in learning appears. Therefore we need teaching materials that have more appeal so students can easily understand. One of the creative teaching materials that can be developed is a three-dimensional textbook that can be used for students entering the age of children to adolescents. This textbook is intended to motivate students to be more active in reading so that they are able to link the examples presented in the book into real conditions in the surrounding environment
Personaliti Dan Kepimpinan Ulul Amri Guru Pendidikan Islam
oai:press.umsida.ac.id:article/18This article aims to review and identify the characteristics of Ulul Amri's personality and leadership among Islamic Education teachers. A total of 109 students from 4 secondary schools in Kota Bharu district were randomly selected as respondents for the study. This study was conducted through a quantitative approach. The data were collected through a questionnaire translated from The Big Five Inventory (BFI) by John (1990) and Ulul Amri's Leadership following the Qur'an. The degree of reliability of the BFI instrument ranges from 0.62 to 0.77 while the Ulul Amri Leadership instrument is between 0.61 and 0.71. Descriptive analysis of frequencies and mins used for distribution analysis. Inference statistics that pearson correlation analysis is used to analyze the relationship between teacher personality and Ulul Amri Leadership. The significant level used is 0.05. The findings show that the most dominant personality dimensions of teachers are Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. The results of the correlation test showed that there was no significant relationship between the personality of the Islamic Education Teacher and the leadership of the Ulul Amri teacher except the personality of the agreeableness. The findings show that Islamic Education teachers have positive personalities such as Openness, Agreeableness, Extraversion and Conscientiousness. Meanwhile, Neuroticism with a negative personality teacher of Islamic Education has recorded the lowest mean. This finding shows that Islamic Education teachers in Kota Bharu have a good and positive perception among students. This is also a reflection of the expectation and dependence of the students on the Islamic Education teacher is very high. As Al-Qabisi's theory emphasizes the four qualities of a quality teacher in educating morals, ie by example, qudwah, unity, demonstration and understanding. Teachers through a qudwah approach or exemplary example can become themselves as followers or model roles to students by means of interaction inside and outside the classroom

Mastering the tactics of influence in leadership practices is important in able to impact the culture and relationships of fellow citizens in the organization. Hence, leaders need to know how to use appropriate tactics of subordinates to reduce conflict in leadership, especially in higher education. The purpose of this study is to identify the most frequently used influence tactics as well as to identify the relationship of influence tactics and leadership styles. This descriptive study involve sample of 150 polytechnic lecturers in Kelantan. The quantitative data of the study were collected by cross-sectional use of Influence Behavior Questionnaire and Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire. The findings show that soft influence tactics are most often used than hard influence tactics. The findings also show that the tactics of influence have a significant relationship with the transformational leadership style compared to the transactional leadership style and the laissez faire. It is important for a leader of an educational institution to identify appropriate influence tactics based on the institutional situation and environment
