Pengaruh Model Reciprocal Teaching terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa pada Pokok Bahasan Pemanasan Global
The study aimed to determine whether there was an effect of the Reciprocal Teaching model on students' physics learning outcomes on the topic of global warming. The method was quasi-experimental and the research design was the equivalent pretest-posttest group design. The population of this study was all seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Sigi. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The research sample was class VII A (n = 24) as the experimental group and class VII C (n = 24) as the control group. The research instrument was a test of physics learning outcomes in multiple-choice. The test of physics learning outcomes obtained showed that the average score of the experimental group was 15.08 higher than the control class, which was 12.62. The t-test hypothesis (two-tailed) was obtained tcount = 5.01 and ttable = 2.01 at the significance level α = 0.05. This result means that the value of tcount is outside the receiving area of H0, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. In other words, there are differences in physics learning outcomes between the experimental group and the control group. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Reciprocal Teaching model on student physics learning outcomes on the topic of global warming
Implementation of Inquiry Methods to Improve Qur'an Hadits Learning Outcomes of Students of CLASS IIIB MI Maulana Maghribi Bantul
oai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/765This research aimed to improve student learning outcomes using the inquiry method in the Qur'an Hadith material. This research was a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle's steps adopted the steps suggested by Kemmis and Taggart; planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were 21 students (14 girls and 7 boys) in class IIIB MI Maulana Maghribi Bantul. Data were collected through test and non-test (observation) techniques. Data were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive method. The research is said to be successful if students who reach the KKM are at least 75%. The results obtained were that the average learning outcomes in cycle 2 increased by 20.5%, from 74.3 to 89.5. The number of students who reached the KKM in cycle 2 was 90.5%. Student participation in cycle 2 reached 80%
Respon Siswa terhadap Belajar dari Rumah pada Masa Corona Virus Melalui Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh dalam Jaringan
This study aimed to determine students’ responses to Learning from Home during the corona virus era through distance learning network at SMA Karuna Dipa Palu. The method used was a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative approach, by distributing questionnaires to 11th and 12th graders at SMA Karuna Dipa Palu. Distance Learning Network was carried out using the Zoom application and WhatsApp Group. The results showed that students gave negative response on Learning From Home through Distance Learning Network because: online learning were not interesting and fun because the material was difficult to understand and cannot work together with friends; the assignments given were in the form of independent work, not in groups so that it was ineffective and inactive. Studying at home was worse than at school, because at home there were many things that can interfere with learning such as slow network connection, blackout, the difficulty in asking questions, some lessons were difficult to understand, lack of guidance from teachers, lots of assignments, limited quota, noisy surroundings and there are some lessons that cannot be practiced. Meanwhile the positive response of students' insights was increasing towards the use of technology in learning and making them more independent, preventing the spread of the corona virus, saving transportation costs and pocket money, being closer to family and can help their parents while studying
Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning dalam Mata Pelajaran Teknik Las SMAW untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa
The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning model to the subjects of the shield metal arc-welding technique in class XI welding SMKN 3 Palu. This classroom action research (CAR) consists of 2 cycles, each of which goes through the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class XI Las SMKN 3 Palu in the 2018/2019 academic year. The research instrument used was a test. The results of the research in the first cycle, the number of students who completed as many as 20 people with an average learning outcome of 72.06 and a classical percentage of 62.50. There is an increase in cycle II with students who complete learning has increased to 27 students, the average learning outcome is 85 and the classical percentage is 84.37%. There was an increase in the learning outcomes of class XI Las students with an increase in the percentage of 21.87% from cycle I to cycle II. The increase in learning outcomes occurred due to the application of the problem based learning model in the subject of SMAW welding techniques in class XI welding at SMKN 3 Palu
Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Siswa dengan Mengoptimalkan Penerapan Model Discovery Learning dalam Mata Pelajaran PAK dan Budi Pekerti
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Discovery Learning model in increasing student motivation in Christian Religious Education (PAK) and Budi Pekerti subjects in class VII SMPN 9 Palu. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). This research consists of two cycles. Each cycle goes through the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques in this research using the observation method. The instrument in this research is in the form of an observation sheet. Based on the results of the study, the score in the first cycle of teacher observations was 3.86, which increased in the second cycle to 4.36. The results of student observations in the first cycle of 3.60 increased in the second cycle to 4.24. The presentation of students in the first cycle was 3.86 and increased in the second cycle to 4.2. These results indicate that the application of the discovery learning model can increase students' learning motivation in PAK and morals subjects in class VII SMPN 9 Palu
Kesalahan Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita FPB Dan KPK di Sekolah Dasar
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis kesalahan dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan siswa kelas V dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika pada materi FPB dan KPK. Prosedur analisis yang digunakan adalah prosedur Newman yaitu membaca masalah, memahami masalah, mentransformasikan masalah, keterampilan mengolah, dan menulis jawaban akhir. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis, analisis dokumen, dan wawancara dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis Milles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verivikasi data. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 23 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek penelitian melakukan kesalahan pada setiap item dengan berbagai jenis kesalahan, yaitu kesalahan memahami 62%, kesalahan transformasi 18%, kesalahan keterampilan proses 40% dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir 64%. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih banyak siswa kelas 5 SDN 2 Tolitoli yang melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika pada materi FPB dan KPK
Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemilihan Karir Siswa Sekolah Kejuruan Melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD)
Berbagai permasalahan dalam pemilihan karier dialami oleh siswa kelas XII SMKN Bantul, Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemilihan karier siswa melalui kegiatan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Subyek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa (4 laki-laki dan 28 perempuan) kelas XII AK4 di SMKN 1 Bantul tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Desember 2019 sampai April 2020. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan penelitian deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar angket dan lembar observasi. Data kemampuan pemilihan karier dan kualitas pelaksanaan pelayanan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemilihan karier siswa meningkat sebesar 9,1 pada siklus 1 menjadi 54. Pada siklus 2 terjadi peningkatan sebesar 9,1 menjadi 63,1. Kualitas pelayanan telah meningkat dari kategori baik pada siklus 1 menjadi kategori sangat baik pada siklus 2. Jadi, kegiatan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemilihan karier siswa pada kelas XII AK4 SMK N 1 Bantul
Miskonsepsi Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Palu tentang Suhu dan Kalor
Banyak siswa yang masih mengalami miskonsepsi fisika mengenai materi suhu dan kalor. Mereka beranggapan bahwa kalor dan suhu merupakan hal yang sama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) tentang suhu dan kalor. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Palu. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda berdasarkan tingkat kepercayaan dalam menjawab soal (three-tier diagnostic test) untuk mengetahui tingkat miskonsepsi yang dimiliki siswa terhadap materi suhu dan kalor yang berjumlah 15 butir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat miskonsepsi siswa menggunakan tes diagnostik tingkat pohon tergolong sedang dengan persentase rata-rata 35,27%. Miskonsepsi dominan pada konsep pemuaian, Asas Black dan Perpindahan kalor. Pada penelitian ini miskonsepsi tertinggi terdapat pada konsep pengaruh kalor terhadap pemuaian dan perubahannya yaitu sebesar 67,74 %
Hubungan Kesadaran Metakognitif terhadap Keterampilan Proses menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbantuan Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa
This study is ex-post-facto research that aims to determine whether there is a correlation between metacognitive awareness and process skills using a guided inquiry learning model assisted by students’ worksheets. The population of this research is the third-semester student of the biology education study program at STKIP PI Makassar. Sample selection is selected randomly. The research instrument that was used to measure process skills was 20 numbered objective questions. Process skill indicators are observing, classifying, predicting, measuring, inferring, and communicating. A total of 52 statement items (positive and negative) Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) were used to measure students’ metacognitive awareness. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Data testing using linear regression test of one independent variable with SPSS 17 program. Based on the results of the linear regression test, it was obtained that the value of R = 0,111 and R square = 0,012. This shows that there is a correlation between metacognitive awareness and process skill, even though it has a very low category with the percentage of impaired metacognitive awareness of 0,12%
Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Discovery-Inquiry terhadap Peningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Materi Fisika pada Siswa SMA
The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the Discovery-Inquiry learning model on improving the senior high school students' creative thinking skills in material of physics. The study was pre-experimental. The research design was a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample was selected by purposive sampling. The sample in this study was class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Palu as the experimental group. The average pretest score in this study was 11.27 and the average posttest score was 14.40 out of a total score of 24. The results of the N-gain calculation were 36.5%. It shows that the N-gain value is in the medium category. The results of hypothesis testing show that the value of tcount = 18.57 > ttable = 1.69 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Discovery-Inquiry learning model on improving senior high school students' creative thinking skills in material of physics
