    Pengaruh Kecerdasan Logis-Matematis terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Melalui Metode Pembelajaran Problem Solving

    The study aimed to determine whether there was an influence of logical-mathematical intelligence on students' physics learning outcomes through the Problem Solving learning method. This type of research was quantitative research with                                     the pre-experimental. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The sample of this study was 29 students of class X MIPA 1. The research instrument was a logical-mathematical intelligence test and a physics learning outcome test. The results of the analysis of the correlation test between the variables X and Y obtained rxy = 0.41. This shows that the influence of logical-mathematical intelligence (X) on learning outcomes (Y) is in the medium category. The logical-mathematical intelligence test obtained showed that the average score of the pretest was 5.69 and the posttest was 19.13. Meanwhile, in the physics learning result test, it was obtained that the average score of the pretest was 10.93 and the posttest was 14.52. The results of simple linear regression analysis showed that the variation of logical-mathematical intelligence scores on learning outcomes with the estimated function Ÿ = 5.08 + 0.40X. Based on data analysis with a significance level of 5%, db for numerator 1 and db for denominator 27 obtained Fcount 5.36 > Ftable 4.21. So, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence of logical-mathematical intelligence on the learning outcomes of physics through the Problem Solving learning method

    Pengaruh Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa Kelas X SMAN 4 Palu

    The study aimed to determine the effect of the CTL approach in Jigsaw type cooperative learning on physics learning outcomes for tenth-grade students of SMAN 4 Palu. This type of research was quasi-experimental. The research population was the students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Palu. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, with the research sample being class X IPA 4 as the experimental group and X IPA 3 as the control group. The instrument for learning physics was in the form of a multiple-choice test. Testing of student learning outcomes data using t-test statistical analysis with prerequisites, namely normality test and homogeneity test. The results of data analysis obtained that the average value of the experimental group was 15.08 with a standard deviation of 8.69 and the average value of the control group was 12.06 with a standard deviation of 8.48. Based on hypothesis testing with t-test statistics, it was obtained tcount = 4.25 and ttable = 1.67 at a significance level of  = 0.05. This result means that the value of tcount is outside the area of ​​acceptance of H0. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the CTL approach in Jigsaw type cooperative learning on physics learning outcomes of tenth-grade students of SMAN 4 Palu

    This study aimed to describe a guided experiment to change students' understanding of voltage and current in a direct current circuit. The study was qualitative research. The subjects were physics education students. The experiment was followed by 16 students. Data collection techniques were test and interview. The results of the pretest showed that many students had misconceptions about the concept of voltage and current in a direct current circuit. After conducting the experiment, the students answered the given test again. The test results show that the experiment carried out could improve students' understanding of the concept of direct current electric circuits. So, it can be concluded that guided experiments can change students' understanding of voltage and current in direct current circuits

    This study aimed to improve student learning outcomes in Business Economics through the application of Project-based Learning  methods. This research was classroom action research and was carried out in 2 cycles. The research was carried out in class X BDP 2 at SMK Negeri 1 Bantul from January to April 2020. The number of students involved was 36 people (27 Female and 9 Male). The instruments used in this study were project worksheets, observation sheets, and multiple-choice test questions. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques. Learning success criteria if the percentage of classical completeness is above 75%. The results showed that the percentage of classical learning completeness was 59.4% in cycle 1 and 95.0% in cycle 2. So, the application of the Project-based Learning  model can improve student learning outcomes in Business Economics class X BDP 2 SMK N 1 Bantul

    The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of the ability of Biology Subject Teachers' Deliberation teachers through training in the technique of examining answer sheets on android-based multiple choice questions. The research subjects were 16 people. The method used is descriptive research. Data were analyzed descriptively. The activity was carried out by presenting the material, then installing the application program, the practice of using smartphones and their applications on the student answer sheets being tested, reading and interpreting the analysis results from the examination of the application program, reporting the examination results and sending the examination results from the application program. This activity is planned to be carried out programmatically with a training model that integrates theory and practice.     This study aims to determine the difference in the level of active participation of students in online collaborative discussions using LMS and social networking tools. The type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental form. The research design used was posttest only control group design. The study population was 56 students of the chemistry education study program semester II of the 2020/2021 academic year. The sample in this study were 38 people consisting of 8 men and 30 women. The sample was determined by class random sampling technique. The research instrument used was an assessment sheet for student activity in collaborative discussions. The data obtained is in the form of quantitative data which is then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis to describe the level of active participation of students in online collaboration discussions and inferential statistical analysis to test research hypotheses. The results show that: 1) The level of student participation in online discussion collaborative learning using social network tools is higher compared using LMS 2) There is a significant difference between the level of student participation in online discussion collaboration learning using social network tools and students using LMS

    Penerapan Blended Learning Berbasis Kelompok terhadap Keterampilan Menyimak

    This study aims to find out the influence of group-based blended learning towards the listening skill. The research design used was experimental one group pre-  and post-tests. The study sample consisted of 22 students of class X SMA An Nur Buuts Palu which was drawn purposively. Learners were given pretest and then treatment both face-to-face teaching mode and virtually and posttest after the treatment conducted. The data were analyzed using Descriptive Statistics Analysis through SPSS for windows version 22.  The results of the data analysis show that the mean of the pretest (N = 23) is 34.96 and the standard deviation is 3,391, the mean of the posttest (N = 23) is 42.09 and the standard deviation is 4,368. The results of pretest and posttest are normally distributed based on the results of the Shapiro-Wilk analysis (N < 50) sig. 0.070 > 0.05 for pretest and 0.064 > 0.05 for posttest. From the results of the Paired Samples T-Test test, it is found that the mean of the pretest (34.96) is lower than the mean of the posttest (42.09), the correlation coefficient is sig. 0.059 > 0.05 with a significance level of                             sig. 0.791 > 0.05, and the Paired Samples T-Test results show a significance value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. This data shows that there is a significant difference between the results of the pretest and the posttest. It implies that the application of group-based blended learning significantly influences the listening skills of the students

    This study aims to analyze students' ability to interpret thermodynamic process graphs. The instrument used was a thermodynamic graph test question as many as 13 items in the form of reasoned multiple choice. The methodology used was qualitative. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Model Palu in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The subjects of this study were students of class XII IPA 4. Interview respondents were selected based on the results of the analysis of students' answers. The results of the analysis show that the students' abilities are in the very low category with an average percentage of 33.68%. The ability to interpret symbols is 42.01%, connecting observations is 31.77%, finding patterns is 30.21%, and determining the amount is 30.73%. Students' difficulties in interpreting graphs, namely, considering the graph as an object, confusion in interpreting the position of the direction of the arrow in the graph, not knowing the meaning of the symbols of magnitude in the graph, having difficulty interpreting the area under the graph, unable to distinguish graphs, and unable to see the question as a whole

    This study aimed to know the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type cooperative learning model on physics learning outcomes. This type of research was a quasi-experimental design with a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group. The population of this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 5 Palu. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with the research sample being class X MIPA 3 as the experimental group and class X MIPA 4 as the control group. The instrument used is a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple-choice questions. The increase in the average N-Gain in the experimental class was 50.88% while in the control class it was 22.68%. Based on the hypothesis test t-test (one party) obtained tcount = 2.88 and t0.975 (67) = 2.00 at the real level = 0.05. This means that the value of tcount is outside the acceptance area of ​​H0. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of student learning outcomes using the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type cooperative learning model on physics learning outcomes in class X SMA Negeri 5 Pal

    An Analysis of Derivational Suffixes Found in Reading Texts of English Textbook

    This research aimed to analyze the function of derivational suffixes found in reading texts of English textbook for the eleventh-grade students of senior high school. The methodology used descriptive content analysis. The samples were selected in which words containing derivational suffixes found in reading texts of English textbook. Data were collected through data reduction, data display and concluding. The researcher found that there were four basics of types and functions of derivational suffixes. The types of derivational suffixes are nominal, verbal, adjectival, and adverbial suffixes. The most frequently suffixes used in English textbook is the nominal suffix –ing as a noun marker and followed by adverbial suffix –ly as an adverb marker. The researcher concludes that the functions of derivational suffixes are to create new a word by adding the suffixes to the end of root word by following the pattern: noun-forming to create noun, verb-forming to create verb, adjective-forming to create adjective, and adverb-forming to create adverb
