Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Konsep Momentum dan Impus
The study aimed to determine the effect of using the Group Investigation learning model on student learning outcomes on the concepts of momentum and impulse. This type of research was a quasi-experimental design with the non-equivalent pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Palu. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The sample of this study was class X IPA 6 (n=35) as the experimental group and class X IPA 4 (n=35) as the control group. The instrument was a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple-choice questions. The learning outcomes test obtained showed that the average score of the experimental group was 15.16 with a standard deviation of 3.23 and the average score of the control group was 10.56 with a standard deviation of 3.08. Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained tcount = 5.48 and t0.0975(68) = 1.99 at a significance level of = 0.05. This result means that the tcount is outside the H0 reception area. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the Group Investigation learning model on student learning outcomes on the concepts of momentum and impulse
Pengaruh Metode Resitasi dalam Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Materi Kalor dan Perpindahannya
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of the recitation method in the cooperative learning model to improve the learning outcomes of heat and its transfer. This type of research was quasi-experimental. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The samples of this research were students of class VII A and VII B of SMP Negeri 3 Bulagi. Class VII A is the experimental group and class VIIB is the control group. The learning outcome test instrument was a multiple-choice test. Based on the results of data processing, the N-gain value in the experimental group was obtained at 45.97%, which was in the medium category. Then for the control group, the N-gain value was obtained at 33.43%, which was also in the medium category. These results indicate that the learning outcomes of physics in the experimental group are higher than those in the control group. The results of statistical calculations from the average difference test using t-test (two-tailed) obtained tcount > ttable (tcount = 4.22 and ttable = 2.02) at a significance level of 5% and dk = 45, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the recitation method in the cooperative learning model to improve the learning outcomes of heat and its transfer
Makna Padungku pada Komunitas Pamona di Kecamatan Pamona Pasulemba
This study aimed to describe the meaning of the Padungku tradition as the cultural identity of the community and to describe the meaning of padungku in the socio-religious context. This study used a qualitative research tradition. The unit of analysis in this study was the community in Pamona Pasulemba District, and the informants consisted of nine people, two of whom were bureaucrats, two traditional leaders, five of whom were community members who worked as farmers. Sampling was done by using the snoble sampling technique. Meanwhile, data and information were collected through interviews and documentation. The results showed that: 1) Padungku as the language of cultural identity has developed the meaning of the Peasants' Great Harvest Festival, into an annual celebration that is attended by various segments of society. Padungku also has a meaning as a means of social integration and social acculturation; 2) the animist belief system through the padungku tradition experiences transportation to the belief system according to religious teachings. Religion assesses its contribution to changing people's way of thinking and beliefs, but on the other hand, the padungku tradition also contributes to the activities of religious institutional infrastructure
Kemampuan Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal-soal Fisika Materi Gerak Lurus Berubah Beraturan
Problem solving cannot be separated from learning Physics. This study aims to determine the ability of physics problems solving on non-uniform linear motion topic. This research was descriptive research. The research subjects were 10 students of class X IPA 2. Data obtained through student ability tests and interviews. The results showed that the students' ability to solve physics problems on non-uniform linear motion topic was included in the good category with an average value of 75.62 with the percentage of each indicator, which were 77.50% the ability to translate sentence questions into symbols, 75.00% ability to understand the formula that will be used to answer the questions, 71.67% ability to use formulas to answer questions and 78.33% ability to use units correctly
Pengembangan Desain Instructional Mata Kuliah Bahasa Inggris Berbasis English for Specific Purposes
English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is an English learning approach where the topics and methods used in learning are made based on the needs of learning English. This study aims to develop based teaching materials English for Specific Purposes appropriate to student needs. The need for learning English was identified using the questionnaire obtained from students of the Agricultural Products Processing Technology study program as research subjects. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques in the numbers and percentages. The result showed that the needs of the students for the ESP English course are very diverse, it can be concluded that English is not only for their current needs but also for future work purposes
Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Aurora 3D Presentation untuk Meningkatkan Minat dan Hasil Belajar Siswa dalam Mata Pelajaran Sejarah
This study aimed to determine the increase in student interest and learning outcomes through the use of Aurora 3D Presentation learning media in grade 10th of TMP B SMKN 3 Palu, 2018/2019 Academic Year. This research was a classroom action research. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementing the action, observing (observing) and reflecting. The subjects of this study were all students of class 10th TMP B, with the total of 36 students. Data collection techniques included observation and tests. The data were analysed used a qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the use of Aurora 3D Presentation learning media can increase interest and learning outcomes of grade 10th TMP B SMKN 3 Palu in the 2018/2019 academic year. The increase in student interest in learning in the first cycle with an average score of 2.8 in the medium category then increased in the second cycle with an average score of 3.4 in the high category. The increase in student learning outcomes can also be seen from the average value and the percentage of classical completeness. In the first cycle, the students' average score was 75.43 with 62.5% completeness. However, it increased in cycle II with an average value of 84.3 with a percentage of classical completeness of 86.78%
Pengaruh Pembelajaran dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Fisika
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of learning with a contextual approach on students' understanding of physics concepts. The hypothesis proposed in this study was that there was an effect of contextual approach learning on understanding physics concepts in class VIII SMP 19 Palu. The population of this study were all eight graders of SMP 19 Palu. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling with the research sample being class VIIIC as the control class and class VIIIA as the experimental class. The research instrument was in the form of a concept understanding test that has been validated by an expert validator. The results of data analysis from the score range between (0-100) obtained an average score of 63.13 for the experimental class with a standard deviation of 0.97 and 55.00 fpr the control class with a standard deviation of 2.12. Based on the hypothesis test, it showed that tcount > ttable was 6.46 > 1.67, with a significance level of =0.05, thus H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. The test results proved that there was an influence on understanding the concept of physics between classes that take part in learning with a contextual approach and students who take part in conventional learning
Analisis Evaluasi Pembelajaran IPA Terpadu Dimasa “Sekolah Dari Rumah”
This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted in May – June 2021 with the aim of seeing how the learning process takes place at school and how flexible learning is during school from home. The population in this study are all science teachers in South Sulawesi. Sample selection is done by area sampling. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire that had to be filled out by the science teacher through a google form distributed through the MGMP IPA Whatsapp group in several districts in the province of South Sulawesi. A total of 18 question items contained in the questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is to describe and describe the answers of the respondents. The research that has been done shows that there are still many teachers who have difficulty evaluating learning (cognitive, psychomotic, and affective). As many as 27,57% of teachers said it was very difficult to assess the cognitive aspect, 16,97% of teachers said it was very difficult to assess the affective aspect, and 20.3% of teachers said it was very difficult to assess the psychomotor aspect. Difficulties in evaluating learning are constrained by several things. The main obstacle that most often arises is inadequate children's learning facilities, starting from the inability of parents to buy communication tools for online learning to network constraints which almost some areas feel the impact
ESP bermuatan Competency-based Instruction Approach pada Mahasiswa Politeknik Palu Program Studi Hasil Laut
This is classroom action research aims to increase learning outcomes and competence of students through the implementation of ESP with Competency-based Instruction Approach. The research was conducted at Politeknik Palu with 30 students as the subjects of the research. The data were gathered through observation and competency test. The results reveal that 16 students or 53.3% succeeded in cycle 1. Then, it increased to 25 students or 83.3% in cycle 2. In conclusion, the implementation of ESP with Competency-based Instruction Approach can improve students’ learning outcomes and competencies
Pemanfaatan Media Berbasis Lingkungan Sebagai Sumber Belajar Pada Pembelajaran Sejarah di SMA Negeri 3 Palu
The purposes of this study were to describe: (1) the type of environmental media used by the teacher as a learning resource in history learning in senior high school 3 Palu; (2) the use of the environment as a learning resource in history learning in senior high school 3 Palu; and (3) Obstacles or constraints felt by the teacher and students in the use of environment-based media as a source of learning history in history learning. The research design used a qualitative approach. Data were collected using the method of observation, interviews and document analysis. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data classification and presentation, and data verification. The subjects in this study were history teachers, wakasesk curriculum, and students of senior high school 3 Palu. The results showed that: (1) environmentally based media used by history teachers as a learning resource for students was an artificial environment, namely the environment of the Watunonju cultural heritage site. (2) history teachers have utilized environment-based media through outing classes, namely visiting the prehistoric site of Watunonju megaliths as a source of historical learning, by carrying out the planning, implementation and follow-up stages (3) perceived constraints include the large number of students so that teachers are less capable control of individual students, the weather was sometimes not supportive for studying outside the classroom, resulting in inefficient time
