Research using bibliometric analysis methods in sports journals has never been done, especially in accredited national journals. This study evaluates the pattern and development of publications in the Jurnal SPORTIF: Jurnal Penelitian Pembelajaran from 2015 to 2020. This study uses bibliometric analysis and visualization of similarities using the VOSViewer application for the graphical conception of bibliographic data such as co-occurrence of keywords and co-authorship. Also, this study will also evaluate the most productive institutions, the most productive authors, the most cited articles, the number of citations, and the level of author collaboration. The analysis results show an increase in publication production after the Jurnal SPORTIF: Jurnal Penelitian Pembelajaran was declared accredited by SINTA 2 in 2018, which shows an increase in interest in submitting articles. Forming basic movements in elementary school students through traditional games is one of the currently trending topics, so there are gaps and opportunities to exploit research with this theme. Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri is the most productive institution with 29 articles, while the most productive writer is Budiman Agung Pratama, with five articles published so far. Further research is expected to compare the pattern and development of publications in the SINTA 2 national accredited journals

This study aimed to analyze the increase in serum BDNF levels after moderate-intensity exercise in obese females. This study used the True-Experimental method with the Randomized Control Group Pre-test-Post-test design. A total of 14 obese female adolescents aged 19-24 years participated in this study and were divided into two groups, i.e., the control group (CG, n=7) and the moderate-intensity exercise group (MIEG, n=7). The exercise was performed with an intensity of 64 – 76 HRmax for 40 minutes using a Richter Treadmill (4.0 HP DC). Moderate-intensity exercise was carried out in one intervention. Blood sampling was carried out before and after moderate-intensity exercise on the cubital vein as much as 3 ml. Examination of serum BDNF levels using the ELISA method.  The results of statistical analysis show that the mean pre-test serum BDNF levels were CG (258.66±27.11 pg/mL), MIEG (252.48±23.17 pg/mL), and (p=0.865). The mean post-test serum BDNF levels were CG (236.22±20.83 pg/mL), MIEG (497.73±59.55 pg/mL), and (p=0.001). The mean delta of serum BDNF levels on CG (-22.43±26.04), MIEG (245.25±61.57 pg/mL), and (p=0.002). Based on the study results, it is concluded that a single session of moderate-intensity exercise in the morning increases serum BDNF levels in obese females. This study aimed to analyze the increase in serum BDNF levels after moderate-intensity exercise in obese females. Get PDF
The purpose of this study was to analyze the ability of the flat forehand drive stroke with a three-dimensional kinematics analysis approach in tennis. The method used was quantitative descriptive, while the subjects were 18 male tennis players (age 27 ± 3.7 years, height 169 ± 7.4 cm, body weight 71.5 ± 8.3 kg). This instrument uses three video cameras, one set of calibration, motion analysis software, manual markers and a radar speed gun. The results of this study showed that of the shoulder internal rotation, wrist flexion, trunk and hip rotations for players who have skills shows greater results when compared to the novice players. In addition, the skills player group produce ball speed that is greater than the novice players. The results of this study concluded that the series of motion starting from the hip joint rotation, the maximum external-internal shoulder rotation contributed greatly to the racket speed in generating greater ball momentum. Meanwhile, the shoulder internal velocity is the key to producing the racket maximum speed. The recommendation from the results of this study for further research is to compare the performance of forehand and backhand strokes in the elite group with a three-dimensional analysis approach

Comparison of cryotherapy and foam rolling on performance and lactate levels in futsal athletes

    Get PDF
The use of Cryotherapy and Foam rolling methods is considered to speed up the post-exercise recovery process. However, so far there have been no studies comparing the two methods, thus the aim of this study was to compare the Cryotherapy and Foam rolling methods on performance and lactate levels in futsal athletes. This study uses an experimental method with a one-way crossover design pretest-posttest approach. The total subjects were 16 Amateur Futsal Players with an average age, 20.25 ± 1.23 years; height, 168.87 ± 2.02 cm; and weight, 54.61 ± 1.94 kg; BMI, 19.16 ± 1.01 kg/m-2. The results showed that foam rolling and cryotherapy had no effect on physical performance, but both methods could significantly reduce lactate levels. However, in this case the foam rolling method showed an improvement in the 20-meter sprint which was better than cryotherapy. Thus, the results of this study provide a recommendation for futsal athletes to use foam rolling in the post-exercise recovery process

    Get PDF
This study aims to prove an increase in the expression of uncoupling protein-1 (UCP-1) after moderate-intensity continuous exercise in obese females. The present study employed a true-experimental with the randomized control group pretest-posttest design. A total of 12 obese females were enrolled in this study and given moderate-intensity continuous exercise. Continuous exercise was done with an intensity of 60-70% HRmax for 40 minutes using a treadmill. The Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method was used to examine the expression of UCP-1. Data were analyzed using independent samples t-test with statistics packet for social science (SPSS) software version 17. The results obtained mean UCP-1 expression on K1 between pre-exercise (3.68±0.46) ng/mL, post-exercise (3.73±0.69) ng/mL and (p=0.875). Mean UCP-1 expression on K2 between pre-exercise (3.64±1.52) ng/mL, post-exercise (6.83±0.64) ng/mL and (p=0.001). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in UCP-1 expression between before and after moderate-intensity continuous exercise in obese females. Future studies are suggested to compare the effect of acute exercise with moderate intensity chronic exercise on increasing UCP-1 expression in obese females
