KANDUNGAN MIKROBA PADA DAGING SAPI DARI BEBERAPA PASAR TRADISIONAL DI BANDAR LAMPUNG
This study aims to find out the microbial content contained in meat sold in traditional markets in Bandar Lampung. Survey method used in this study. Data collecting technique in this study were purposive sampling method and questionnaire method. Sampling was conducted on purpose in accordance with the requirements specified were: 1) the amount of meat sale > 25 kg / day, 2) one's own / work remains, 3) long to sell a minimum of 2 years. The amount of meat samples were taken as 200 grams from each trader. The number of trader which meat taken were 17 traders fro 8 markets. Sampling was conducted at 06.00 pm. The meat samples tested by bacteriological examination of Total Plate Count (TPC), the coliform and Salmonella sp. Research was conducted in the laboratory of Hall Veterinary Bandar Lampung. The result showed that 17, 65% of beef traders in traditional markets Bandar Lampung contained Total Plate Count (TPC) exceeds the standard, 58.82% of beef contains traders coliform above the standard and 35.29% beef trader in traditional markets in Bandar Lampung contained Salmonella sp. above the standard based SNI: 7388: 2009
REPEAT BREEDER PADA SAPI BALI DI KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU
Research on repeat breeders in Bali Cattles in Pringsewu Regency was held on December 2014 until January 2015 with 5 inseminators, 131 Bali Cattles that had been inseminated belong to 100 farmers. The purpose of this reserch are to know: 1) value repeat breeder of Bali Cattles in Pringsewu Regency, 2) the factors and magnitude factors which disturb repeat breeder of Bali Cattles in Pringsewu Regency. Data was analysis by logistic regression with SPSS (Statistics Packet for Social Science) program. The result showed that repeat breeder of Bali Cattles at Pringsewu Regency is 19,85%. Factors that affect the repeat breeder are education inseminator that negatively associated with factor value 1,466; the number of acceptors that negatively associated with factor value 0,390; old ranching that positively associated with factor value 0,067; the amount of provision of water that negatively associated with factor value 0,106; large cage that negatively associated with factor value 0,114; and sanitation stall that negatively associated with factor value 0,805
KUALITAS FISIK, KADAR AIR, DAN SEBARAN JAMUR PADA WAFER LIMBAH PERTANIAN DENGAN LAMA SIMPAN BERBEDA
The purpose of this research was to determine physical qualities, water content, and mould distribution in wafer of agricultural waste with different storage time. The experimental design that used in this research is Randomized Complete Design (CRD) with four treatments and four replications. Agricultural waste wafer consists of four treatments and four replications, namely R0: Wafer without being stored; R1: wafer were stored for two weeks; R2: Wafer were stored for four weeks; and R3: wafer were stored for six weeks. The results of this research indicate that the wafer with differential storage was highly significant (P <0.01) for physical qualities, there are colour, and the scent of wafer. The best treatment on wafer with differential storage was wafer that stored for four weeks
FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI CONCEPTION RATE PADA SAPI BALI DI KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU
The purpose of this reserch are to know value conception rate and the factors and magnitude factors which disturb conception Rate of Bali Cattles in Pringsewu Regency. This Research was held on December 2014 until January 2015 by using Bali Cattles that had been inseminated of 100 farmers as much 131 Bali Cattles and secondary data IB result from 5 Inseminators. Data was analysis by multifactors regression with SPSS (Statistics Packet for Social Science) program. The result showed that Conception Rate of Bali Cattles at Pringsewu Regency is 50,38%. Factors that affect the conception rate are the system of provision of water that positively associated with factor value 0,255, shape of enclosure wall that negatively associated with factor value 0,142; Age of Bali Cattles that negatively associated with factor value 0,015, service per conception that negatively associated with factor value 0,295. IDENTIFIKASI STATUS NUTRIEN KAMBING BOERAWA DI SENTRA PRODUKSI KAMBING BOERAWA PROVINSI LAMPUNG
The objective of this research was to find out the Boerawa goat nutrition status based on material of feed, nutritional content, and feeding management used by Boerawa goat farmers in Lampung province. There were 50 farmers to interview coming from three districts of production centers (16 farmers from Pesawaran, 17 farmers from Pringsewu, and 17 farmers from Tanggamus). This research used qualitative approach with survey method, and data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that feed to use were merely vegetative feed (leafs). These three districts of Boerawa goat production centers have abundant potentials of agricultural resources, however these resources were not yet optimized as feed materials for farmers. Even though suffice feeding frequency was properly administered by farmers, this did not fully meet the goat necessity of vegetation feed. In addition, the nutrition content from dry material and protein from feed used by farmers showed values below standard of dry material and crude protein required by Boerawa goat. TINGKAT INFESTASI CACING SALURAN PENCERNAAN PADA SAPI BALI DI KECAMATAN SUKOHARJO KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU PROVINSI LAMPUNG
Research on infestation rate of the digestive fluke on Bali cattle in the Sukoharjo Sub-district , Pringsewu District, Lampung Province held in December 2014 and January 2015. The purpose of this research was to determine the infestation rate of the digestive fluke in Sukoharjo sub-district, Pringsewu District, Lampung Province. The method used is a survey with proportional random sampling, the stool samples obtained 131 Bali cattle. Analysis of the data used in the study is descriptive. The parameters observed were gastrointestinal worm eggs that Paramphistomum sp., Haemonchus sp., Oesophagustomum sp., Mecistocirrus sp., Cooperia sp., Ascaris sp., Trichostrongylus sp., and Nematodirus sp .. The results of this study showed that the prevalence of Bali Cattle that infected Paramphistomum sp. is 74.05%, Haemonchus sp. is 4.58%, Oesophagustomum sp. is 18.32%, Mecistocirrus sp. is 2.29%, Cooperia sp. is 0.76%, Ascaris sp. is 0.76%, Trichostrongylus sp. is 1.53%, and Nematodirus sp. is 0.76%. POTENSI PENGEMBANGAN PETERNAKAN SAPI POTONG DI KECAMATAN TANJUNG BINTANG KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN
This study was conducted in February 2015 at Tanjung Bintang District South Lampung Regency. This study aimed to determine development of beef cattle potency by environment, natural resources, human resources, technology, and formulate strategies development of beef cattle to apply in Tanjung Bintang District. Interview farmer as much as 50 people from five village: Jati Baru, Jati Indah, Budilestari, Srikaton and Trimulyo. This study used survey method and than descriptive and SWOT analysis. The result of this study showed that Tanjung Bintang District have good environment potency and natural resources but has the human resources potency and input technology adverse in development of beef cattle. Alternative strategy can be implemented in Tanjung Bintang District is improving farmer knowledge in beef cattle farming specially innovative feed processing technology input through counseling and training feed processing and capital aid to increase business of beff cattle. KECERNAAN NUTRIEN PAKAN TEPUNG DAUN MURBEI PADA SAPI PERANAKAN ONGOLE
The research was conducted to study the ability of mulberry leave meal addition concentrates on the digestibility nutrient of Ongole Grade. This experiment used a randomized block design, with 4 treatments and 4 blocks. Treatments consisted of P1 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and concentrate complete), P2 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and corn concentrate), P3 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and rice bran concentrate), P4 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and concentrate tapioca waste). The experiment was conducted for 4 months with the adaptation periods for 2 weeks. Parameters measured were digestibility of dry matter (KCBK) and organic matter (KCBO), . The results showed that the mulberry leave meal addition on different concentrate did significantly (P<0,05) on digestibility of dry matter (KCBK) and organic matter (KCBO). It is concluded that based on the nutrient digestibility, mulberry leave meal concentrate can be combined with a single concentrate such as corn, cassava waste meal or complete concentrate. PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN BERBAGAI JENIS LITTER TERHADAP BOBOT HIDUP, KARKAS, GIBLET, DAN LEMAK ABDOMINAL BROILER FASE FINISHER DI CLOSED HOUSE
Closed house is a broiler chicken coop design that there is no environmental effect or that minimized of outer interference. The right choose of litter on broiler cultivation at closed house could give the comfortable condition for broiler productivity. Those condition will be give impact to carcass giblet and abdominal fat productivity. The purpose of the research are: (1) to know the effect of the kind of litter to live weight, carcass, giblet, and abdominal fat of broiler at closed house, (2) to know the best of litter that give effect to live wight, carcass, giblet, and abdominal fat of broiler at closed house. The research was done on April 15th 2014 until May 10th 2014 at PT. Rama Jaya Lampung closed house Sidorejo hamlet, Krawang Sari village, district Natar, South Lampung regency. The broiler that used in this research is broiler strain CP707. The research method use complete randomize block design with 3 treatments : P1: ricehusk litter, P2: wood shavings litter, P3: ricestraw litter, with 6 times replication. The research data’s were analyzed by using 5% of Analysis of variance test. If there is significant effect on the variable, the test will be continue by Duncan test. The observed variable were live weight, carcass weight, giblet weight, and abdominal fat weight. The result shown that: (1) rice husk litter, wood shavings litter and rice-straw litter have no significant effect (P>0,05) toward live weight, carcass weight, giblet weight, and abdominal fat weight of broiler finisher phase at closed house , and (2) the used of three kind of litter were give same result toward live weight, carcass weight, giblet weight, and abdominal fat weight of broiler finisher phase at closed house
ORGANOLEPTIK WAFER DENGAN BERBAGAI KOMPOSISI LIMBAH PERTANIAN DI DESA BANDAR BARU KECAMATAN SUKAU KABUPATEN LAMPUNG BARAT
The purpose of this study was to determine texture, color, aroma, and palatability wafers with various agricultural waste compotition. The experimental design used in this research is completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments and four replications. Wafer agricultural waste consists of three treatments and four replications, namely A: sweet potato 8% + potato 3% + cauliflower leaf chicory 5% + china cabbage 10%+ carrots 50% +labusiam 5% + tomato 15.99% + molasses 3 % + salt 0.01%; B: sweet potato 15% + potato 5% + leaf cauliflower chicory 10% + China cabbage 15% + carrot 40% + labusiam 6% + tomato 5.99% + molasses 3% + salt 0.01%; C: sweet potato 20% + potato 7% + cauliflower leaf chicory 15% + China cabbage 20% + carrot 23% +labusiam 8% + tomato 3.99% + molasses 3% + salt 0.01%. The results of this study indicate that the wafer with a variety of agricultural waste composition was highly significant (P <0.01) on the color and texture of the resulting wafer, wafer agricultural waste significant (P <0.05) on the scent wafers produced.
