PENGARUH PEMBERIAN DOSIS VAKSIN AVIAN INFLUENZA INAKTIF PADA ITIK JANTAN TERHADAP JUMLAH SEL DARAH PUTIH DAN TITER ANTIBODI YANG DIHASILKAN
The aim of research to knowing the effect of inactived AI (Avian Influenza) vaccine doses to white blood cells and titer of antibodies also to knowing the most well vaccine doses to white blood cells and titer of antibodies production, already implemented in December 2015 in Sabah Balau, Tanjung Bintang District, South Lampung, with the amount of duck used were 54 tail a male. Method of this research was Completely Randomized Design consisting of 6 treatment (P0: control with distilled water provission, P1= administration of inactivated AI vaccine of 0,1 ml; P2= of inactivated AI vaccine doses of 0,2 ml; P3= of inactivated AI vaccine doses of 0,3 ml; P4= of inactivated AI vaccine doses of 0,4 ml; P5=of inactivated AI vaccine doses of 0,5 ml) with repeat 3 times. The result of analysis of variance showed that the level inactived AI vaccine againts white blood cells (P0= 52,63; P1= 69,78; P2= 69,10; P3= 58,82; P4= 73,83 and P5= 69,10) and antibody titer (P0= 4,06; P1= 3,67; P2= 5,33; P3= 5,00; P4= 3,67 and P5= 4,70) at 5 days old male ducks no significant (p>0.05) because white blood cells are produced every duck is more influenced by maintenance was not good and the sampling process so the duck become stressful and effects the amount of white blood cells in the body. Antibody titer not effect because sampling process is too short when sampling process are longer excepted to show different levels of antibody titers at each doses. FAKTOR- FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI SERVICE PER CONCEPTION SAPI PERAH PADA PETERNAKAN RAKYAT DI PROVINSI LAMPUNG
The aims of this research were to know factors and values of the factors that influence of service per conception of dairy cattle on the people’s farm at Lampung Province on Juni-July 2016. Analysis for this research is multiple regression analysis with spss (statistic packet for social science) program. The results of this research indicate that service per conception (S/C) of dairy cattle in the province of lampung are 2.09 ± 1.28. Factors affecting the value of S/C from the farmer and the cattles. On the level of farmer are have already trained that negatively associated with factor value 5.891, farmer knowledge that positively associated with factor value 5.517, total concentrate supplied that positively associated with factor value 0.193, and water supply system that negatively associated with factor value 1.471. factor affecting S/C on dairy cattle are lactation length that negatively associated with factor value 0.065 and reproduction disturbance that positively associated with factor value 2.814. STATUS REPRODUKSI DAN ESTIMASI OUTPUT BERBAGAI BANGSA SAPI DI DESA SRIWEDARI, KECAMATAN TEGINENENG, KABUPATEN PESAWARAN
The aim of this research is to know the status of reproduction, NI, NRR, and output of some cattle breeds at Sriwedari Village, Tegineneng Districts, Pesawaran Regency. The research was carried out for two months, started in Agustus until September 2015. The data was taken from all of the cattle farmers in Sriwedari Village. The result shows that the structure of cattle population in Sriwedari Village are consisted of 123 animal unit (AU) PO cattle, 57,50 AU Limousin Crossbreed, 173,50 AU Simmental Crossbreed, 9 AU Brangus Crossbreed. Female cattles were breed by artificial insemination, the first mating age of PO cattle was 17,25 months, Limousin Crossbreed was 18,85 months, Simmental Crossbreed was 17,77 months, and Brangus Crossbreed 15,5 months. S/C Brangus Crossbreed was 2, PO cattle was 2,07, Limousin Crossbreed was 2,14, and Simmental Crossbreed 2,16. Calving interval of PO cattle was 14,13 months, Simmental Crossbreed was 13,94 months, Brangus Crossbreed was 13,85 months, and Limousin Crossbreed was 13,74 months. The length of breeding of PO cattle was 7,83 years, Limousin Crossbreed was 6,74 years, Simmental Crossbreed was 6,29 years, and Brangus Crossbreed was 6,63 years. Natural increase of Simmental Crossbreed was 42,62%, PO cattle was 17,99%, Limousin Crossbreed was 9,84%, Brangus Crossbreed was 9,09%. Net replacement rate of PO cattle 333,668%, Limousin Crossbreed was 281,818%, Simmental Crossbreed was 261,588%, Brangus Crossbreed was 228,571%. ANALISIS POTENSI PENGEMBANGAN PETERNAKAN SAPI POTONG DI KABUPATEN PESAWARAN
The purpose of this study was to observe the development and carrying capacity of beef cattle livestock from several aspects such as the environment, human resources and natural resources. The potential was calculated based on the production and carrying capacity of agricultural residues, cattle capacities and Location Quotient (LQ). This research was carried out at Pesawaran Regency on December 2015 until April 2016. This research used survey method with purposive sampling. The result of this research showed that the potential of natural resources in Pesawaran Regency were 74.234 ha of agricultural land that supported by crop residues production 898.875.420 kg/yr. Based on carrying capacity of crop residues production in Pesawaran regency reached until 393.855 AU with 36.65 worth the carrying capacity Index. By looking at the results of the carrying capacity index calculations in Pesawaran regency, all areas have the potential for the development of beef cattle. Based on the capacity of cattle assuming the provision of rations of 30% as many as 601.385 AU have additional opportunities of 586.107 head of cattles while the rations of 40% as many as 451.039 AU have additional opportunities 435.684 head of cattles. Based on the analysis of Location Quotient (LQ), Negeri Katon and Tegineneng could be base areas of beef cattle livestock breeding. PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MULTI NUTRIENTS SAUCE (MNS) ERO II DALAM RANSUM TERHADAP PERTAMBAHAN BOBOT TUBUH SAPI POTONG
This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Multi Nutrients Sauce (MNS) ERO II in the ration on feed consumption and average daily gain of beef cattle. The research was conducted October 30th, 2015 - December 6th, 2015 at Ngudi Makmur farmer group, Mulyo Asri village, Tulang Bawang Tengah district, Tulang Bawang Barat regency. Samples ration was analysed at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Feed Science. Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. The experimental design used was a randomized block design (CRD) with three treatments and four blocks. The treatments were: 1. Basal diet; 2. Basal diet + 10% MNS; and 3. Unila diets + 10% MNS. Result of experiment showed that the addition of MNS ERO II significantly affected (P<0.05) on consumption, and average daily gain of beef cattle. PERBEDAAN SISTEM BROODING KONVENSIONAL DAN SISTEM BROODING THERMOS TERHADAP RESPON FISIOLOGIS BROILER
The purpose of the research was knowing of difference between conventional and thermos system brooding to respiration rate, heart beat rate, rectal temperature of broiler. This research was hold on 2015 December in Jati Agung, South Lampung. Two thousand DOC of broiler was used in that brooding system, and was taked 3,5 % as sample. Result of data apllying t-student test in real standart 5 %. The result of research refers to conventional brooding and thermos system give not significant effect to respiration rate, heart beat rate, and rectal temperature of broiler on 10 and 20 days. KAPASITAS PENINGKATAN POPULASI TERNAK RUMINANSIA BERDASARKAN POTENSI LIMBAH TANAMAN PANGAN SEBAGAI PAKAN TERNAK DI KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN
The purpose of this research was to observe the potential of crop residues as the alternative forage feed to development of ruminant livestock in South Lampung Regency.This research was carried out in South Lampung Regency on December 2015 until April 2016.This research used survey method with Purposive Sampling. Edible Porpotion or portion that can be consumed based on the calculation of this research, the total production of crop residues based on dry maatter of the three materials was 611.257 tons per year. The result of this research showed that the carrying capacity in 17 subdistricts located in South Lampung regency based on Animal Unit (AU) were 268.095,00 AU. The Concentration Index Livestock based on the calculation in South Lampung Regency has a range valeu from 0,15 until 2,49 by the average valeu was 1,00. Based on the calculation of ruminant livstock population increase capacityobtained the highest grade in Palas Subdistrict of 25.351 AU, but there was four of subdistricts that has value minus is Jati Agung, Merbau Mataram, Sidomulyo and Rajabasa Subdistrict so it was not potential to increase number of ruminant livestock if only rely on carring capacity from residues crops. The aim of research was to knowing AI vaccine doses in female ducks of the most well titer of antibodies produced. The research was conducted in Desember 2015 in Sabah Balau, District Tanjung Bintang, District South lampung. Ducks uses were 54 tails are a female using a completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of 6 treatments (P0: control with distilled water provisison, P1: administration of inactivated AI vaccine doses of 0,1 ml, P2: of inactivated AI vaccine doses of 0,2 ml, P3:of inactivated AI vaccine doses of 0,3 ml, P4: of inactivated AI vaccine doses of 0,4 ml, and P5: of inactivated AI vaccine doses of 0,5 ml) with repeat 3 times. The result of analysis of variance showed that the level of AI vaccine doses at 5 days old female ducks no significant (P>0,05) on antibody titer to the value of each row (P0 : 4,33, P1 : 4,33, P2 : 7,33, P3 : 4,67, P4 : 4,33, P5 : 5,7). PERFORMA AYAM PEDAGING PADA SISTEM BROODING KONVENSIONAL DAN THERMOS
This study aims to determine the best performance of broiler in the conventional brooding system and the thermos. The research was conducted from December 4, 2015 - January 3, 2016 , in the Experiment Farm PT Ramajaya. Material research is a broiler strain new lohmann aged 0 --14 days as many as 2000 individuals. Experiments based on case studies. The study used two experimental brooding systems, namely P1 : Conventional brooding system; P2 : Thermos brooding system. The results showed that the performance of ayam pedaging in thermos brooding system such as feed intake, body weight and feed conversion is better than the performance of the conventional brooding system . PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN SABUT BUAH KELAPA SAWIT AMONIASI DALAM RANSUM SAPI PERAH TERHADAP KECERNAAN IN-VITRO
The experiment was conducted at the Animal Nutrition Laboratory and field laboratory, Animal Husbandry faculty, Brawijaya University Malang for making the oil palm fruit fiber amoniasi and analysis of nutrient content and digestibility in vitro is carried out from July to August 2011. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of differences in the level of use urea and palm amoniasi as a forage substitute. To get the optimum level of use of oil palm fruit fiber amoniasi that gives the best response to digestibility in vitro. The results are expected to be used as information about the utilization of oil palm fruit waste as an alternative to cattle feed. Materials on research are oil palm fruit fiber and urea as a feed ingredient substitutions. The research method is experimental by design Factorial Randomized Block Design, study the influence of the addition of urea level and duration of incubation in the oil palm fruit fiber for nutrient content and digestibility in vitro. Variables measured, a research study nutrient content, digestibility of DM (Dry matter) and digestibility of OM (Organic matter) of oil palm fruit fiber amoniasi. Data were analyzed by variance and if the real test followed by Duncan. The results of the research showed that the addition of urea level and duration of incubation significant effect (P <0.05) to 50.61% DM and 48.23 % OM which is in P2. It can be concluded that use 50 % corn plant and 10% of oil palm fruit fiber and digestibility optimum at DM and OM.
