KUALITAS KIMIA SUSU KAMBING PERANAKAN ETAWA PADA BERBAGAI PERIODE LAKTASI DI DESA SUNGAI LANGKA KECAMATAN GEDONG TATAAN KABUPATEN PESAWARAN
This research was conducted from May up to June, 2016 at Ettawa grade goat (EGG) development area, Sungai Langka village, Gedong Tataan subdistrict, Pesawaran regency to study chemical quality of EGG milk. Survey method were used in this research. Fifteen tails of EGG at first, second, third, and fourth lactation period as sample research was decided by purposive sampling procedure. Variables observed were fat, protein, solid non fat, and water content. Chemical quality of milk were analysed at Technology of Agriculture Product Laboratory, Politeknik Negeri Lampung (Polinela), Bandarlampung. Chemical quality of the milk was compared Indonesia National Standard or Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) No 01-3141-1998 and Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS) 606-2008. Result of research indicated that fat content of 76.61 % samples (range of fat content 2.52 – 6.20 %) was qualified (standard of SNI was 3,7 %, TAS was 4.0 %). Protein content all samples (range 3.86 – 6.70 %) was qualified (standard of SNI was 2,7 %, TAS was 3.7 %). Solid non fat content all samples (range 9.54 – 11.92%) was qualified (standard of SNI was 8.0 %, TAS was 8.25). Water content all samples (range 76.28 – 82.48 %) was qualified (standard maximum of SNI was 89 %, standard maximum of TAS was 87 %).It could be concluded that chemical quality of EGG milk was qualified to standard of SNI No 01-3141-1998 and Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS) 606-2008. KUALITAS FISIK ORGANOLEPTIK LIMBAH TAUGE KACANG HIJAU YANG DIFERMENTASI MENGGUNAKAN Trichoderma harzianum DENGAN LEVEL YANG BERBEDA
The objective of this research is to test the physical quality of organoleptic including of the color, smell, texture and pH of fermented bean sprouts using Trichoderma harzianum in different level. This research consists of two phase. The first phase is the process of fermentation of green bean sprouts waste that divided into 4 treatments that is the addition of Trichoderma harzianum at 0%, 2%, 4% and 6% level of 4 replications. The second phase of research is to conduct organoleptic test in covering of the color, smell, texture and pH of fermented bean sprouts waste using Trichoderma harzianum in different level. The material used waste bean sprouts, Trichoderma harzianum, aquades. The data obtained at if statistically using RAL. The result data of the research is tested by F test, if there is effect of treatment then proceed with Duncan test at 5% level. The results showed 2% Trichoderma harzianum giving the best pH 5,18. PENGARUH RANSUM DENGAN KADAR PROTEIN KASAR BERBEDA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN ITIK BETINA MOJOSARI
This study aims to determine the effect of diets with different crude protein levels on the growth of female ducks mojosari and determine the best treatment on the growth of female ducks mojosari study was conducted in September - November 2015 on cage in Integrated Field Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. Ducks used in this study were female ducks mojosari as many as 64 individuals. This study was conducted using a randomized block design (RBD) with four treatments and four groups. The treatments were given in this study with different levels of crude protein ration is R1: 16%, R2: 18%, R3: 20%, R4: 22%. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA using a 5% significance level. The parameters measured were feed intake, body weight and feed conversion. Based on these results that rations with different crude protein levels did not significantly (P>0,05) affect on feed intake, body weight and feed conversion ducks trial. EFEKTIVITAS BERBAGAI PREPARAT ANTIBIOTIKA TERHADAP KASUS OMPHALITIS PADA AYAM BROILER
The aim of this research to know the efectivity from antibiotics to prevent and cure omphalitis cases that often happen in broiler. This research devided to five treatment groups with total of DOC (Day Old Chick) were 500 DOC. Each groups had 10 DOC with 10 repetition, so DOC total for each group were 100 DOC. Treatments approached were P1 (combination of Sulfametoksazol dan Trimetoprim), P2 (Ciprofloxacin), P3 (combination of Amoxycillin dan Collistin), P4 (Clyndamicin), and P5 (Amoxycilin). Doses for each treatments were 10 mg active compound / kg body weight or 0,1 g antibiotic / kg body weight, mixed with drank water that had given from 1 – 5 days old. Nine days old DOC were being necropted to 10 DOC samples (10 repetition) each groups. Those organs taken were yolk sac and umbilicus. Results were analyzed descriptively with looking yolk absorbtion and size of yolk sac. Effevtive antibiotic was antibiotic that could cure omphalitis in DOC, yolk was absorbed and size of yolk sac was small or almost gone. Result showed that antibiotics of Sulfametoksazol and Trimetoprim combination had highest effectiveness than others to prevent and cure omphalitis in DOC. EVALUASI PERFORMA BOBOT BADAN DAN STATISTIK VITAL SAPI MADURA BERDASARKAN TAHUN KELAHIRAN
This research was done to compare performance of Madura cattle born in 2015 and 2016 at Unit of Technical for Animal Breeding and Animal Health Madura. Two hundred tails of Madura cattle that were one day old, 205 days old, and 365 days old were used in this research. They were offsprings of 12 tails of male cattle and 200 tails of female cattle. Variables observed were body weight, body height, body length, and heart girth. Data collected were analyzed by t test. Result of this research indicated that performance of Madura cattle that was one day old and 205 days old born in 2015 and in 2016 were not different (P>0.05). Performance of Madura cattle that was 365 days old born in 2015 and in 2016 were different (P<0.05). The performance of cattle born in 2015 versus in 2016 were 113.00±12.19 kg vs 120.00±10.86 kg for body weight (yearling weight), 110.00±6.81 cm vs 114.00±2.46 cm for body height, 103.00±6.70 cm vs 106.00±4.71 cm for body length, and 118.00±8.05 cm vs 120.00±5.91 cm for heart girth. It could be concluded that performance of Madura cattle that was 365 days old born in 2016 were higher than that was in 2015. ANALISIS TINGKAT KEUNTUNGAN USAHA PENGGEMUKAN SAPI POTONG RAKYAT DI KABUPATEN WONOGIRI
Beef cattle breeding business in Wonogiri District is dominated by small scale in which capital and profits too low. The size of the profits derived from the balance of the sale value of production and production costs that is issued by the breeder. The maximum profit would be achieved if all factors of production have been allocated in an optimal and efficient use, both technically and economically efficient manner. Objective analysis profit function is to describe the situation now, the circumstances in the future or planning and action of a business related to the rate of business profit and net income scale beef cattle farms of the people.The results showed that total revenue (TR) of beef cattle breeding business people have an average of Rp.89.360.625.00 per farmer per one period of fattening cattle, while the total cost (TC) on average Rp.85.119.873.00 each farmers per one period of fattening cattle. So that the magnitude of the rate of profit(π) obtained by each farmer in one period of fattening cattle for Rp.4.240.752.00 and the R / C ratio of 1:05. The results of the analysis showed that the profit rate of beef cattle breeding business in Wonogiri Regency financially advantageous (value profit π> 0 and the return value cost ratio of R / C> 1). Results of regression equation analysis function simultaneously benefit breeders show concentrate feed costs, labor costs and costs of cows significant ((P <0.05)) on the level of business profit beef cattle farms in Wonogiri. Based on the calculation of the value of R2 adjusted Rvalues obtained2 83.2% showed variable variation concentrate feed and forage costs, drug costs, labor costs, fees and charges cage feeder cattle can be explained by either a variable rate of the business profits of beef cattle breeders. The remaining 16.8% operating income level variable cattle ranchers explained by variations in other variables outside the model. Partially variable concentrate feed costs, labor costs and the cost of feeder cattle significantly (P <0.05) to the level of business profit breeding beef cattle people. As for the cost of forage ariable drug costs are not significant (P> 0.5) on the level of beef cattle breeding business benefit of the people. Keywords: Function Gain, Beef Cattle, Wonogir
PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN DOSIS RAFINOSA DALAM PENGENCER SUSU SKIM TERHADAP MOTILITAS, PERSENTASE HIDUP DAN ABNORMALITAS SPERMATOZOA SAPI ONGOLE
Studies conducted in the Technical Services Unit Regional Center for Artificial Insemination Regions (UPTD-BIBD) Lampung, RegencyTerbanggiBesar, Central LampungRegency, Lampung Province in May 2016 aims to determine the effect of dose rafinosa in dilution of skim milk on motility, abnormality and the percentage of spermatozoa Ongole cattle alive. The experimental design used was completely randomized design with 6 treatments of 0.5%; 1.0%; 1.5%; 2.0%; 2.5%; 3.0% in diluent and skim milk respectively -masing treatment be repeated 4 times. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of varian at significance level of 5% or 1%, and for variable real test of orthogonal polynomials on the real level of 5% or 1% to determine the optimum dose rafinosa. The results showed that increasing doses rafinosa give effect not significantly different (P> 0.05) on percentage motility after equilibration and prefreezing, the percentage of live sperm after equilibration and prefreezing, as well as the percentage of spermatozoa abnormalities after prefreezing, and PTM, but give effect highly significant (P <0.01) on the percentage of sperm motility PTM, the percentage of live sperm PTM, and the percentage of abnormal spermatozoa after equilibration. Extra doses of raffinose based test pattern orthogonal polynomial regression on percentage motility PTM equation ӯ = 25.08 + 4x , the percentage of live sperm PTM equation ӯ = 22.55 + 5,77x , and the percentage of abnormal spermatozoa after equilibration with the equation ӯ = 6,36-1,71x . PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN DOSIS RAFINOSA DALAM PENGENCER SITRAT KUNING TELUR TERHADAP MOTILITAS, PERSENTASE HIDUP DAN ABNORMALITAS SPERMATOZOA SAPI ONGOLE
The research which was conducted in the Regional Technical Services Unit Lampung Regional Artificial Insemination Centres, Regency Terbanggi Besar, Central Lampung Regency, Lampung Province on 19-20 May 2016, aims to determine the effect of dose rafinosa in egg yolk citrate diluents on motility, percentage of live sperm and abnormal spermatozoa Ongole. The experimental used is completely randomized design with 6 treatments rafinosa dose (0.5%; 1%; 1.5%; 2%; 2.5%; 3%) in the egg yolk citrate diluent and each treatment be repeated 4 times. The data obtained were analyzed using analyzed variety at significance level of 5% or 1% then for variables that significantly undergone orthogonal polynomial test to determine the optimum dose rafinosa. The results showed that the addition of a diluent doses rafinosa in egg yolk citrate is not significantly different (P> 0.05) on the percentage of live sperm in prefreezing and post thawing motillity; on motility and sperm abnormalities in the equilibration, prefreezing and PTM. Extra doses of raffinose in egg yolk citrate highly significant (P <0.01) on the percentage living on equilibration sermatozoa patterned quadratic. Found that the addition rafinosa at equilibration was highly significant (P <0,01) to live spermatozoa with Ý = 66.49 + 17,94x-4,23x2 with the optimum value of 2.1%. EFEK PENAMBAHAN TEPUNG DAUN PEGAGAN (Centella asiatica) TERHADAP PERFORMA PRODUKSI PUYUH
Aim of this study was to know the effect of pegagan (Centella asiatica) on quail production performance. The material used in this study were 200 quail phase layer Coturnix-coturnix japonica strain. The method used was experimental design with completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment in this study was the feed control without the addition of pegagan meal (P0); feed control + 0,5% of pegagan meal (P1); feed control + 1% pegagan meal (P2) and feed control + 1,5% pegagan meal (P3). The variables observed were feed intake (g/bird /day); Hen Day Production (%); feed conversion and egg weight (g/bird/day). The results showed of this research that pegagan meal not significant effect (P>0,01) on feed intake (g/bird/day), Hen day Production (%); feed conversion and egg wight (g/bird/day) in quail production performance. Feed intake, Hen day Production, feed conversion and egg wight best on P3 treatment and advised to do recommended pegagan meal in the feed of quail as much as 1,5% of the total feed.
