    PLACEMENT OF COMPETENT AND QUALIFIED EDUCATION PERSONNELS FOR INCREASING HIGHER EDUCATION QUALITY

    Educational human resources comprise of administrators, teachers, and support personnel. Educators are frequently overlooked in educational administration.  This study aimed to assess the impact of STIKes B's implementation of educational staff administration for the sound quality of education. This research used descriptive qualitative research methodologies. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicated that the management of educators and education personnel at the stages of planning, selection, orientation, appointment and placement, observation and assessment, compensation, and dismissal had been implemented, but not to the greatest extent possible. There are educators and educational personnel who lack the requisite expertise. The offered compensation is regarded as meager. Good human resource planning, providing educational human resource support, and human resource development through training, certification, observation, and equitable compensation are required to enhance the quality of education personnel

    Penerapan model pembelajaran dalam kegiatan pendidikan di Taman Kanak-kanak dianggap mampu membantu anak menjadi pribadi yang aktif dalam mengoptimalkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, kemandirian serta rasa percaya diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan mengenal geometri anak usia 4-5 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak. Pre-eksperimental desain one group pretest-postest digunakan dengan subjek penelitan sebanyak 38 anak yang dipilih secara acak dalam penelitian ini. Hasil menunjukan bahwa model ini memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri yang merupakan salah satu pondasi anak mengenal matematika melalui kegiatan menyebutkan, mengidentifikasi, menggambar, memasangkan. dan menandai bentuk geometri seperti lingkaran, segitiga, persegi dan persegi panjang

    Mathematics as a branch of science that cannot be separated from its existence in everyday life. The existence of mathematics as a science is timeless. The concept of mathematics is contained in the culture that develops in society. The mathematical concepts contained in this culture are called ethnomathematics. Ethnomathematics is a link between culture, mathematics, and education. The purpose of this study was to determine the practice of ethnomathematics in the manufacture of Pandeglang batik and the integration of Pandeglang batik as a learning resource for high school geometry transformation mathematics. This study uses qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The instrument in this study is the researcher himself and cannot be replaced by someone else. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are basic mathematical activities carried out when making batik pandeglang and mathematical concepts contained in the batik pandeglang motif such as translation, reflection, rotation and dilation.     PENGARUH KOMPETENSI MANAJERIAL KEPALA PAUD TERHADAP KINERJA PENDIDIK DI PAUD NON FORMAL KABUPATEN SERANG

    The principal as a manager has an important role in managing resources within the educational unit. The performance of educators is an important factor in improving the quality of education. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of managerial competence in improving the performance of educators in non-formal PAUD Serang Regency. The results showed a simple linear regression equation Y = a + bx, with a value of Y = 13.670 + 1.702X, which means the coefficient b is positive, this indicates that changes in educator performance (Y) are in line with changes in managerial competence (X). So the value of Y will increase if X increases, otherwise if X decreases then Y will decrease. The correlation coefficient value is 0.552 with the provision that the specified coefficient interval value can be concluded that the correlation between X and Y variables is strong. From the calculation of the coefficient of determination above, it is obtained from the value of 55.2% while the remaining 44.8% is influenced by other factors. The results of hypothesis testing showed that tcount value was greater than ttable, namely 19,325 > t table 7,739, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence on the managerial competence of the PAUD head and the performance of educators in non-formal PAUD Serang district

    VIDEO EDITING APPLICATION AS LEARNING MEDIA ON STUDENTS' CHARACTER EDUCATION IN MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH

    In learning process activity, learning resources has an important role in achieving student learning outcomes. On the other hand, the lack of utilization is a problem for some educational institutions, especially at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Mastery of technology for educators is not optimal and gives impact on student learning outcomes and less attractive. Students tend to learn with conventional methods and less motivated. To anticipate these problems, using technology-based learning resources is very appropriate at this time. The application of video editing-based technology can increase student motivation and educate students with creative characters. There are some video editing applications such as TikTok, Filmora, Kinemaster, CapCut and viva video as an alternative choice for students and educators to interact in the learning space. This study, was conducted to seven grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Kota Serang. It used qualitative methods and data obtained from the results of questionnaires, interview and observations. The results showed that the application of learning media through video editing applications was able to shape the character of students creative and innovated. From these result can be concluded that the video editing application is very helpful in the learning process as a learning media.

     Equipping soft skills to teach citizens to master digital-based financial management through digital-based financial literacy is an important strategy in improving equity education. This study aims to clearly describe how PKBM Ash-Shoddiq Lembang West Bandung Regency implements digital-based financial literacy training. In this study, descriptive method was used to obtain qualitative data from 10 respondents consisting of 5 academic residents, 3 teaching assistants, and 2 managers. The results showed that the implementation of digital-based financial literacy training began with the planning, socialization, and needs identification stages, followed by implementation using andragogical and participatory strategies using Microsoft Excel media. The results of the training showed an increase in understanding and knowledge in the main aspects of financial literacy.Keywords: Training, Financial Literacy, Digital. AbstrakMembekali soft skill untuk mengajarkan warga menguasai pengelolaan keuangan berbasis digital melalui literasi keuangan berbasis digital menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan pendidikan ekuitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara jelas bagaimana PKBM Ash-Shoddiq Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat melaksanakan pelatihan literasi keuangan berbasis digital. Dalam penelitian ini, metode deskriptif digunakan untuk mendapatkan data kualitatif dari 10 responden yang terdiri dari 5 orang residen akademik, 3 orang asisten pengajar, dan 2 orang manager. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyelenggaraan pelatihan literasi keuangan berbasis digital dimulai dengan tahap perencanaan, sosialisasi, dan identifikasi kebutuhan, dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan menggunakan strategi andragogical dan partisipatif dengan menggunakan media Microsoft Excel.     PERSPEKTIF ORANG TUA TENTANG KESIAPAN ANAK USIA DINI MEMASUKI JENJANG SEKOLAH DASAR

    This research aims to reveal the prespective of parents regarding the meaning of school readiness to enter elementary school from the early childhood education stage. Parents' perceptions of school readiness are related to children's early education experience, which can support optimizing their readiness to enter elementary school. The method of this research is a phenomenological study that reveals the perceptions of parents who have children in the age range of 5-6 years that have not entered the elementary education stage. Research data collection is through interviews. The technique used for processing data is IPA (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis) techniques. This data processing technique is implemented through six (6) stages, which consist of 1) Reading and re-reading; 2) Initial noting; 3) Developing Emergent themes; 4) Searching for connections across emergent themes; 5) Moving the next cases; and 6) Looking for patterns across cases. Parents' perceptions show that young children ready to enter primary school can read, write, count, be independent, and have mental readiness. Parents see that there will be changes in demands between PAUD and elementary school levels, so children need to be prepared for these changes. Meanwhile, parents' views on schools and teachers in preparing children show trust and hope that schools can play a good role

    EFEKTIFITAS FOUR-SQUARE WRITING TECHNIQUE (FSWT) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR: PRE-EXPERIMENT STUDY

    The Four-Square Writing Technique, sering dikenal sebagai FSWT, adalah pendekatan yang membantu siswa meningkatkan tulisan mereka, menghubungkan ide-ide mereka, dan mengatur pemikiran mereka. Selain itu, siswa diberi kesempatan untuk menggeneralisasi dan menggabungkan prinsip, fakta, dan pemikiran yang paling bermanfaat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan FSWT dalam menulis teks deskriptif siswa melalui pre-experimental design. Ke-25 partisipan tersebut dipilih secara purposive dari kelas 5-A di SDN Karangpuri 2 tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Pre-test dan post-test diterapkan untuk menguji hipotesis yang dirumuskan terhadap efektivitas FSWT pada keterampilan menulis teks deskriptif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t berpasangan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan menulis berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa karena tingkat signifikansi (dua sisi) lebih rendah dari alpha (0.02 < 0.05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FSWT efektif dan menerima Ha sebagai data yang diperiksa. Hal ini tersirat bahwa FSWT sebagai teknik yang efektif untuk mengajar menulis untuk siswa kelas V dan dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kreativitas siswa. Dengan demikian, penelitian lebih lanjut dapat menerapkan pendekatan ini untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas FSWT di tingkat lain bidang Pendidikan dan genre teks lainnya

    PROBLEMATIKA PEMBELAJARAN PADA PENDIDIKAN JARAK JAUH DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

    Pandemi Covid-19 telah banyak mengubah berbagai aktivitas yang dilakukan secara konvensional menjadi kegiatan jarak jauh atau dalam jaringan. Termasuk pada kegiatan belajar dan mengajar yang tetap dilaksanakan dalam masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pelaksanaan pendidikan jarak jauh di masa pandemi Covid-19 bagi pendidik, peserta didik, orang tua, dan sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana implikasi pendidikan jarak jauh di masa pandemi Covid-19 terhadap pendidik, peserta didik, orang tua, dan sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa penerapan dari PJJ berdampak besar bagi pendidik, peserta didik, orang tua, dan sekolah yang harus beradaptasi dengan keadaan dan kondisi baru ini. Adanya keterbatasan dan kurangnya akan kecakapan dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi membuat pelaksanaan pendidikan jarak jauh terhambat. Oleh karena itu, perlu diperhatikan bagi pendidik, peserta didik, orang tua, dan sekolah untuk dapat mendukung terselenggaranya pembelajaran pada pendidikan jarak jauh di masa pandemi Covid-19

    Permasalahan akademik merupakan kendala berkaitan dengan perkuliahan ketika individu menjadi mahasiswa, sampai ia selesai menjadi seorang sarjana. Berdasarkan faktor penyebabnya, maka permasalahan akademik dapat berasal dari komponen internal (KI) dan komponen eksternal (KE) Permasalahan Akademik pada Mahasiswa FKIP-Untan menjadi tujuan penelitian, agar dapat menjadi sumber informasi dalam pengembangan program-program Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling. Rancangan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan akademik mahasiswa, dinamakan Inventori Ungkap Masalah Akademik Mahasiswa (IUMAM). Aspek-aspek dalam IUMAM, meliputi: Komponen Internal (KI), dan Komponen Eksternal (KE). Hasil Penelitian dari 91 Responden, menunjukkan bahwa Permasalahan Akademik mahasiswa FKIP Untan secara umum, tergolong Sangat Rendah (24,44%). Permasalahan yang bersumber pada Komponen Internal (KI), termasuk kategori Sangat Rendah (25,32%). Lebih lanjut, untuk Permasalahan Akademik yang bersumber dari Komponen Eksternal (KE), juga temasuk kategori Sangat Rendah (23, 27%) Kata kunci: Permasalahan Akademik
