    EFEKTIVITAS MODEL NHT & PPBL TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR TEMATIK SISWA KELAS 4 SD

    This study aims to determine whether there is effectiveness of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model and Problem Based Learning (PPBL) approach to the motivation of thematic learning of grade 4 elementary school students. The type of research used is quasi experimental research. The sampling technique used purposive stratified disproportionate sampling technique. This data analysis technique using average difference test (t test). The normality of the experimental group is 0.243> 0.05 and the control group is 0.438> 0.05, the two groups are normally distributed. The homogeneity of the experimental group and the control group was 0.595> 0.05, the experimental group and the control group were homogeneous. The results showed t count 8.564> t table 1.997, then Ha accepted means there is the effectiveness of NHT and PPBL models on the motivation of thematic learning 4th grade elementary school students. Significance of 0.000 <0,05, then Ha accepted means there is effectiveness of NHT model and PPBL to motivation of thematic learning of 4th grade elementary school students meaningful. The mean of experimental learning motivation of experiment group is 49,88 and control group equal to 41,38. The average difference between thematic motivation of experimental group and control group is 8.5. The advice given is that teachers are expected to use the NHT and PPBL models in designing the lesson, so that the thematic learning motivation can be improved.Keywords: Model of NHT and PPBL, Thematic Learning Motivation, Thematic Learnin

    This research is a classroom action research conducted in SDN 009 Samarinda Ulu Academic Year 2016/2017. The subjects were students of class IV of 39 students consisting of 17 male students and 22 female students. The purpose of this study to increase the activity, motivation and learning outcomes mathematics using cooperative learning type Numbered Heads Together. The experiment was conducted on three cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques used were observation, test and documentation with instruments such as observation sheets, a booklet and school documentation. Data activity and motivation acquired through observation, while learning outcomes data obtained through student worksheets and tests end of the cycle.     This research is a Classroom Action Research aimed to improve science learning through visual media in grade 3 students A SDN 004 Pinang Seribu. This research was conducted in SDN 004 Pinang Seribu with research subjects of Class III A students, amounting to 30 students, consisting of 18 male students and 12 female students and the object of research is visual media. The study was conducted in three cycles. Cycle I held three meetings. Cycle II was held three meetings and cycle III was held three times, where every third meeting cycle was conducted evaluation test in the form of problem. Problem evaluation test learning each cycle shaped stuffing. Data were collected with documentation, end-cycle tests, and observations. The results showed that the activity of teachers and students as a whole is considered sufficient, whereas in cycle II, the activities of teachers and students as a whole experienced changes and improvements to be good. Where at the beginning before the cycle obtained an average score of 49.6, in the first cycle the average value that can reach 54.5 students, in cycle II the average value of 68.3 and the average third cycle that can be achieved 83, 6.     Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPS Materi Jenis-jenis Pekerjaan Melalui Model Pembelajaran Make A-Match pada Siswa Kelas III SD Muhammadiyah 2 Samarinda

    This study aims to determine the improvement of Social Studies Learning Outcomes of the Types of Work through Make A-Match Learning Model in Class III Students of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Samarinda. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was carried out at SD Muhammadiyah Samarinda precisely in class III, totaling 36 students. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation sheets of teacher and student activities during the learning process, written tests, documentation.This research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Based on observational data obtained in each cycle, it can be seen that student learning outcomes improve well. The results show that through the Make A-Match learning model can improve student learning outcomes. Increased student learning outcomes from prasiklus by 11.1% with an average value of 55.3 then increased in the first cycle by 25% with an average value of 65. Then in the second cycle experienced an increase of 94.4% with the average value of students 80.4. By applying make a-match learning model can increase student activity in the teaching and learning process, this can be seen by an increase in each cycle. The percentage in pre-cycle is 55.5%. Furthermore, the first cycle is 74.3%, the percentage in the second cycle is 87.45%.The conclusion in this study using the Make A-Match learning model can improve learning outcomes and activities of third grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Samarinda

    This study aims to know the implementation of point method in improving students' motivation in the second semester in the subject of sociology and anthropology seen from the implementation process on lectures for one semester.This research is descriptive qualitative research. Instrument in this study is the researcher himself. The data collection techniques used include (1) participant observation (2) interview and (3) documentationThe results showed that the implementation of point method is very effective to improve student's learning motivation. Implementation This method is very appropriate to be applied in social subjects such as sociology and anthropology. In this subject many problem issues are suitable for discussion. The Point Method make students active to ask questions, criticize and advise so students can continue to collect points. The improvement of learning motivation with point point implementation is evidenced by the following points: (1) Students look diligent in doing the tasks given by the lecturers (2) Students study the material before the learning begins (3) Students are broad-minded in receiving criticism.     This research aimed to know the impact of social environment against achievement of social science at students of SD Inpres Perumnas Antang of Manggala subdistrict of Makassar. Type of research was ex post facto using quantitative research. This research was conducted at SD Inpres Perumnas Antang of Manggala subdistrict of Makassar. Instrument of research was questionnaire to obtain variable data about social environment. Analysis data techniques were descriptive and inferential analyses by using SPSS version 20.0 for windows. Based on descriptive analysis, parents (mother and father) had moderate education level (senior high school) and parents’ jobs were mostly entrepreneur (father) and housewife (mother). Inferential analysis showed that sig.0.000 < α =0.05, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Therefore, there was impact of social environment against achievement of social science at students of SD Inpres Perumnas Antang of Manggala subdistrict of Makassar.
