    This study intended to increase the motivation to learn the beautiful theme of diversity in my country using the application of PAIKEM to fourth grade students at SDN 001 Samarinda Ulu in 2018/2019. This type of research is classroom action research conducted in II cycle, and each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. The results showed that (1) The application of PAIKEM in learning can increase the activities of teachers and students. In the first cycle scored 75 to 96, it was also proven by observing student activities, which scored 67 with a percentage of 52%. in the first cycle, increasing in the second cycle to 81 with a percentage of 93%. (2) Learning outcomes in theme 7 sub theme 3 social studies content have increased after action. The data showed the average value of the first cycle of 74.31 with a percentage of completeness that is 69%, in the second cycle to 85.51 with 90% completeness.     In the current Covid-19 pandemic, there is a process of major changes the result of social distancing policies for all people so that they must be able to adapt. Students must also adapt to changes in learning methods and have high morale so that they can continue to follow learning well. So students are required to have soft skills regarding the use of online learning model applications, preparing quotas,  and being in an area that is sufficiently accessible to the internet network so that later there will be no obstacles when attending online lectures. Students must also adapt and have a fighting spirit to stay enthusiastic about learning. This research is a type of quantitative research, cross-sectional design with a descriptive-analytic approach. The sample was taken by random sampling technique of 200 respondents. as many as 175 people (88%). Talented respondents in the arts were 90 respondents (45%), sports were 70 respondents 35%), and other fields were 40 respondents (20%). The results of univariate analysis describe respondents with adversity quotient in the category climbers as many as 33 respondents (16.5%), the category campers obtained 163 respondents (81.5%) and the category quitters obtained 4 respondents (2%). Meanwhile, the frequency of self-adaptation ability was 193 respondents (96.5%) with the adaptive category and as many as 7 respondents (3.5%) in the maladaptive category. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the Pv value was 0.001 less than the alpha value = 0.05, which indicated that there was a significant relationship between adversity quotient and the self-adaptation ability of students during the Covid-19 pandemic with a positive relationship with sufficient strength. Further researchers are expected to research to discuss the factors and characteristics of self-adaptation that are dominant to adapt to a new environment.   Keywords: Adversity Quotient, self-adaptation ability, covid-19Masa Pandemi covid-19 saat ini, terjadi proses perubahan besar akibat kebijakan social distancing bagi seluruh masyarakat sehingga harus mampu beradaptasi. Mahasiswa juga harus melakukan adaptasi terhadap perubahan metode belajar dan memiliki semangat juang yang tinggi agar tetap bisa menikuti pembelajaran dengan baik. Maka mahasiswa dituntut memiliki soft skill tentang penggunaan aplikasi model pembelajaran online, menyiapkan kuota dan berada di daerah yang cukup terjangkau jaringan internet yang cukup agar nantinya tidak ada kendala saat mengikuti kuliah secara daring. Mahasiswa juga harus melakukan adaptasi dan memiliki semangat juang untuk tetap semangat belajar. Penelitian ini jenis riset kuantitatif, desain cross sectional dengan pendekatan analitik deskriptif. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling sebanyak 200 responden. sebanyak 175 orang (88%). Responden berbakat di bidang seni sebanyak 90 responden (45%), bidang olah raga sebanyak 70 responden 35%), dan bidang lainnya sebanyak 40 responden (20%). Hasil analisis univariat mengambarkan responden dengan kecerdasan adversitas kategori climbers sebanyak 33 responden (16,5%), katagori  campers  didapatkan  163  responden  (81,5%)  dan kategori quitters didapat 4 responden (2%). Sedangkan frekuensi kemampuan adaptasi  diri  sebanyak  193  reponden  (96,5%)  dengan  kategori  adaptif  dan sebanyak 7 reponden (3,5%) dgn  kategori maladaptif. Hasil analisis bivariat diperoleh nilai Pv adalah 0,001 kurang dari nilai alpha=0,05,   yang menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan adversitas dengan kemampuan  adaptasi  diri  mahasiswa  dimasa pandemi covid-19 dengan  arah  hubungan  yang  positif dengan kekuatan hubungan yang cukup.     LEARNING MODULES FOR TRAINING MUTUAL FUND TO INVESTORS

    Financial Education is an essential life skill and is a specialization module in adult education and training. Within the financial education domain, a sub-module would be on financial instruments, such as Mutual Funds. Mutual Funds are small retail investor-friendly investment tools. They are increasingly getting investor interest worldwide because they can provide potential solutions for short- and long-term investing. However, like any other financial/investing topic, teaching mutual fund concepts is challenging because of its unique vocabulary, jargon, and investment processes. The paper highlights broad modules that can be part of a typical mutual fund curriculum. Pedagogical Action Research is used to build the teaching modules focusing on narrativity, pupil's agency, curriculum development, practical theories, and ethics. Findings from this work can help teachers and trainers in the financial domain, mutual fund distributors, asset management companies, and the capital market regulators in building financial products that are easier to understand and invest in by small retail investors

    Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk optimalisasi potensi dalam lingkungan sekolah di Taman penitipan Anak Islam Salsabilla agar dapat membangun karakter peserta didik yang berkualitas melalui strategi PELANGI (Pengulangan, pembiasaan dan inovasi). Taman Penitipan Anak merupakan salah satu pendidikan non formal dimana keberadaannya sangat dibutuhkan oleh orangtua khususnya yang bekerja. Namun bagaimana lembaga Taman Penitipan Anak (TPA) tersebut dapat membantu anak tumbuh dan berkembang dengan optimal serta dapat membangun karekter sejak usia dini, maka diperlukan penelitian untuk memperoleh strategi yang tepat dalam hal pendidikan dan kepengasuhan anak.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Taman Penitipan Anak Islam Salsabilla dengan cara melakukan observasi, pengambilan data  terhadap 6 peserta didk mulai tanggal  01 sampai dengan 29 maret 2019. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan strategi PELANGI yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan kualitas mutu lembaga pendidikan dan meningkatkan karakteristik pada anak usia dini

    ANALISIS KETERAMPILAN MENGUKUR DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DARING SISWA KELAS V DI SDN 015 SAMARINDA ULU TAHUN PEMBELAJARAN 2020/2021

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan keterampilan mengukur pada keterampilan proses sains dalam pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan keterampilan proses sains pada materi suhu dan kalor melalui aspek keterampilan mengukur dalam pembelajaran daring oleh siswa di SDN 015 Samarinda Ulu. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, subjek penelitian ini adalah guru wali kelas V di SDN 015 SamarindaUlusebagaiguruyangmelaksanakanpembelajaranmengenaiketerampilanmengukur,siswa kelas V yang mengikuti pembelajaran daring mengenai keterampilan mengukur, serta orang tua siswa kelas V yang mendampingi siswa di rumah selama melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan teknik pegumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penerikan kesimpulan. Jenis triangulasi yang digunakan adalah triangulasisumber. Hasil penelitian mengenai analisis keterampilan mengukur dalam pembelajaran daring siswa kelas V di SDN 015 Samarinda Ulu tahun pembelajaran 2020/2021 dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan keterampilan mengukur yang dilaksanakan oleh guru wali kelas yakni dengan cara memberikan materi pembelajaran melalui aplikasi WhatApp dengan menyebarkan link video pembelajaran. Guru dan orang tua juga memiliki upaya yang dilakukan agar siswa selalu mengerjakan tugasmengenaipengukuranantaralaindenganselalumengingatkankepadasiswamengenaitugasyang telah diberikan guru, serta orang tua akan membantu anak mereka apabila mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukantugasdanmemberikansemangatkepadasiswadalammelakukantugasataupunmengerjakan tugas.Adapuntahap-tahappelaksanaanpembelajaranmengenaipengukuranyaituguruwalikelasakan memberikan penjelasan singkat mengenai proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran tentang pengukuran dan media praktikum yang akan digunakan sehingga siswa dapat langsung melakukan praktikum di rumah dengan dampingan orang tua, dan untuk melihat hasil praktikum siswa guru memberikan tugas kepada siswa berkaitan dengan hasil praktikum. Guru akan memberikan waktu tiga hari atau paling lambat setidaknya satu minggu bagi siswa untuk menyelesaikan tugas praktikum yang telah diberikan, kemudian untuk pengumpulan tugas setelah melakukan praktikum, siswa dapat mengumpulkannya melelui aplikasi whatsapp berupa foto praktikum serta tugas pengukuranwaktu

    EFEKTIVITAS PELAKSANAAN KEGIATAN BELAJAR DARI RUMAH (BDR) PADA SISWA SD DI KOTA SAMARINDA

    Various cities in Indonesia, Samarinda are one of the cities experiencing the impact of this pandemic. In education itself, the city of Samarinda has followed the government's direction since March 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by conducting learning from home (BDR) activities. The purpose of this study was to describe the information obtained regarding the effectiveness of implementing learning from home (BDR) activities for elementary school students in the city of Samarinda during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. This research will be conducted at SDN 012 Samarinda Ulu, Samarinda city in the even semester from April to July 2021. The subjects of this research are students of SDN 012 Samarinda Ulu who are the main informants. As a triangulation researcher added informants, namely class teachers and parents of students from SDN 012 Samarinda Ulu. To obtain the data that will be needed in this study, it is carried out by techniques, namely interviews and documentation. Activities in analyzing the data obtained are by means of data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. To test the validity of the data in this study, triagulation is used, namely source triagulation. The results of this study can be concluded that one form of preventing the spread of covid-19 is by conducting learning from home (BDR) activities, in Samarinda City itself, especially at the elementary school level, the process of implementing BDR is carried out online. The steps for implementing online BDR are started from the classroom teacher by asking the virtual attendance of students. After that, it was continued with the delivery of material, then giving assignments and collecting assignments from students. The dominant media used in online learning is mobile phones or smartphones. Furthermore, BDR constraints include student saturation, giving a lot of assignments, difficulty understanding the material and internet network disturbances

    This study aims to determine how to strengthen character education at SDN 008 Samarinda. The data analysis technique for closed questionnaire data and interviews used descriptive qualitative analysis. The implementation of character education at SDN 008 Samarinda runs by the school's vision, mission and goals. There are eight-character values developed at SDN 008 Samarinda, namely religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined, democratic, national spirit, love for the homeland, and responsibility. Character education can be implemented through the learning process, school rules, and extracurriculars. The method used in implementing character education at SDN 008 Samarinda is by lecturing or giving examples directly because with this method, students can better understand what the teacher is saying

    Coherence means the smoothness of sentences that are built within the paragraph or text. In this study the researcher wanted to reveal how is the coherence of IELTS writing practice text made by first semester students of Widya Gama Mahakam University. The researcher used qualitative as the study method and six steps of data analysis based on Creswell & Plano (2011). The coherence analysis utilized Oshima & Hogue (2006) theory which stated that there are 4 ways to create coherent paragraph; (1) using Transition Signals, (2) Using Consistent Pronouns, (3) Using Repeat of Keywords, and (4) Arrange the Ideas in Logical Order. The study reveals that all of students used seven types of Transition Signal, 50% students used consistent pronouns, all of the students used at least one repeated keyword from main idea during the paragraph and only 30% of the students Arrange the Ideas in Logical Order

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kebijakan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam membuat 1) perencanaan pengembangan sarana prasarana, 2) pelaksanaan pengembangan sarana prasarana, 3) evaluasi pengembangan sarana prasarana, 4) hambatan dan solusi dalam pengembangan sarana prasarana. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa 1) perencanaan pengembangan sarana prasarana dilakukan dengan menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan sarana prasarana, seleksi program kegiatan sarana prasarana, membuat draft anggaran sesuai dengan RKAS dan musyawarah dalam rapat bersama warga sekolah, (2) pelaksanaan pengembangan sarana prasarana yang dilakukan adalah dengan membentuk tim kegiatan, membuat kontrak kerja dengan pihak terkait, pengawasan dan pemeliharaan sarana prasarana sekolah, (3) evaluasi pengembangan sarana prasarana dilakukan dengan cara mengecek keterlaksanaan antara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan sudah memenuhi standar minimal atau belum dan 4) hambatan dan solusi yang dialami kepala sekolah adalah melakukan menyesuaikan terlebih dahulu dengan jumlah dana yang ada, kemudian menentukan kebutuhan apa saja yang diperlukan bagi pengembangan sarana prasarana yang akan datang. Sampai saat ini, sekolah masih terus melakukan pengembangan sarana prasarana secara kontinyu karena tidak semua perencanaan dapat terealisasi dan hal tersebut dikarenakan sumber dana yang terbatas

    THE ROLE OF PARENTS IN HELPING ONLINE LEARNING DURING COVID-19 IN CLASS III STUDENTS OF SDN 014 SAMARINDA ULU STUDY YEAR 2020/2021

    This study aims to: (1) Describe the role of parents in helping children's online learning at home, (2) Determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for online learning during the COVID 19 period. The study was conducted at SDN 014 Samarinda Ulu for two months. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Mile and Huberman model. The results showed that: (1) The role of parents in helping children learn at home online during covid-19 is quite good. Of the subjects studied (parents): (a) There are those who act as parents and as teachers at home in helping children learn online; (b) There are those who advise children to be more active in studying; (c) Some are less involved because they do not understand online learning. (2) Supporting factors for online learning are: (a) Participation from parents who act as teachers at home; (b) Supervision from parents to children in learning; (c) The giving of gifts or punishment from parents to their children. Inhibiting factors are: (a) Inadequate facilities; (b) Parents are busy working, so they do not interact with their children; (c) lack of understanding of parents in online learning
