Analisis Dasar Filosofis, Implementasi Program Pembelajaran, Keunggulan dan Tantangan Dari Sekolah Alam SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Yogyakarta dalam Menumbuhkan Karakter Siswa
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) dasar filosofis keberadaan sekolah alam di SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Yogyakarta; (2) implementasi program pembelajaran yang dijalankan oleh sekolah dalam rangka menumbuhkan karakter siswa; serta (3) keunggulan dan tantangan yang dihadapi sekolah dalam menjalankan model pembelajaran alam tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptiif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan pihak sekolah dan dokumentasi program sekolah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif model Miles dan Huberman, dengan tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara filosofis sekolah mengadopsi paradigma “khalifah fil ‘ard” yang mengintegrasikan nilai religius-Islam, kehidupan alam terbuka dan pendidikan karakter; program pembelajaran diarahkan melalui pembiasaan, kegiatan luar ruangan (outdoor learning), dan proyek bernuansa lingkungan serta kewirausahaan sehingga siswa tidak hanya memperoleh kompetensi akademik tetapi juga karakter: religius, tanggung jawab, kemandirian dan kepedulian lingkungan. Keunggulan sekolah terletak pada fasilitas alam terbuka, integrasi kurikulum islam terpadu dan sekolah alam, serta budaya sekolah yang mendukung karakter siswa. Tantangan dalam penumbuhan karakter siswa di SDIT Nurul Islam tidak hanya berasal dari lingkungan sekolah, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh kondisi sosial, budaya, politik, dan ekonomi yang berkembang di sekitar peserta didik
Perencanaan Strategi Pendidikan Berbasis Potensi Lokal untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Pemuda di Kalimantan Timur
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan strategi pendidikan berbasis potensi lokal di Kalimantan Timur, dengan fokus pada pemanfaatan sumber daya alam, keberagaman budaya, dan sektor industri yang relevan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), penelitian ini mengumpulkan, mengevaluasi, dan mensintesis temuan-temuan dari berbagai artikel jurnal terkait perencanaan pendidikan, pendidikan vokasi, dan integrasi budaya lokal dalam kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pendidikan berbasis potensi lokal dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan, dengan mengintegrasikan kekayaan sumber daya alam dan budaya lokal sebagai bagian dari kurikulum yang relevan dan kontekstual. Pendidikan vokasi berbasis potensi lokal, yang menggabungkan keterampilan pengelolaan sumber daya alam seperti pertambangan dan perkebunan, memiliki potensi besar untuk memperkuat kesiapan generasi muda menghadapi tuntutan industri. Selain itu, integrasi budaya lokal dalam pendidikan dapat memperkuat karakter dan identitas siswa, yang pada gilirannya mendukung pengembangan masyarakat yang berbudaya dan berkarakter. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan tantangan terkait dengan keterbatasan infrastruktur pendidikan di daerah pedalaman dan disparitas kualitas tenaga pendidik antara daerah perkotaan dan pedesaan. Kolaborasi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan sektor swasta sangat diperlukan untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut dan memastikan keberhasilan implementasi strategi pendidikan berbasis potensi lokal di Kalimantan Timur
Improving Students’ Vocabulary Through Crossword Puzzles for 11th Grade MIPA 3 Students at SMAN 9 Samarinda
The research was prompted by the researcher's teaching internship experience, where they observed that some students had complications mastering English vocabulary. The researcher decided to use crosswords in English learning to enhance students' vocabulary knowledge, as they have a strategic purpose of improving and developing skills. The study aims to describe how crosswords improve students' vocabulary. This study was located at SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda in Class XI – MIPA 3 with 29 students. This research used a two-cycle classroom action research (CAR) method, and the average vocabulary ability of students before class is 49.38. The criteria for success in this research are 75% of students in the class passing the standard minimum criteria (KKM). Cycle I was carried out in two meetings, including a pre-post-test. Started on Monday, March 27, 2023. From cycle I, the results found by researchers were the number of students who passed The Standard Minimum Criteria (KKM) was 20 or 69% of students with an average score of 84.48. The results of the presentation of an improvement in score from the pre-test to the post-test were 0.61%. The increase still did not meet the success target, so the researcher decided to continue the cycle. Cycle II was carried out in two meetings, including a pre-post-test. The cycle started on Monday, April 3, 2023. From cycle II, the results found by the researcher were 27 students with a percentage of 96.3% passing the KKM, and the average post-test results found by the researcher were 94.64. The improvement from the overall mean score in the pre-test to the post-test in cycle II was 10.88%. The classroom action research (CAR) of cycle II was successful and met the requirements of the predetermined criteria. The average score in this study was 75, and 75% of the students in the class completed the KKM. Due to the adjustable of teachers in adapting to classroom conditions and students, crossword puzzles can be a valuable learning tool that enhances their vocabulary skills. Using crosswords in learning can attract students' attention and help them learn more new vocabulary
Equitable Islamic Education Through Leadership: A Managerial Model of a Tahfidz Boarding School for the Underprivileged
This study examines the development of effective leadership models for promoting educational equity in tahfidz boarding schools serving underprivileged communities. Using a Literature Systematic Review (LSR) methodology, this research analyzed 92 peer-reviewed articles from 2021-2025 to identify key leadership competencies, organizational structures, and management practices that enable Islamic educational institutions to deliver equitable education while maintaining religious authenticity. Five research questions guided the investigation, focusing on leadership characteristics, Islamic-modern integration, organizational effectiveness, student challenges, and comprehensive managerial models. The findings reveal five core leadership competencies: transformational leadership, instructional leadership, cultural competency, moral integrity, and adaptive innovation capacity. The study identifies effective integration mechanisms between Islamic principles and contemporary management practices, including values-based systems, community-centered governance, and holistic development frameworks. Key organizational structures include distributed leadership, community-based governance, integrated support services, and flexible financial management systems. The research addresses primary challenges facing underprivileged students, including academic preparation disparities, socioeconomic stress, cultural adjustment issues, mental health concerns, and career preparation needs. Based on these findings, the study proposes the Integrated Islamic Educational Leadership (IIEL) Model, consisting of five interconnected components that provide a comprehensive framework for establishing and sustaining equitable tahfidz boarding schools. This model offers practical guidance for educational leaders, policymakers, and community stakeholders seeking to develop Islamic educational institutions that effectively serve underprivileged populations while maintaining educational excellence and spiritual authenticity
Strategi Efektif Pendekatan Sistem Dalam Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi-strategi efektif dalam aplikasi pendekatan sistem dalam manajemen mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas manajemen mutu di tingkat sekolah menengah kejuruan, serta identifikasi kendala dan solusi dalam implementasinya. Strategi yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan kepada lembaga pendidikan, khususnya SMK, untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara sistematis dan terukur. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan sistem untuk menganalisis semua elemen yang terkait dengan manajemen pendidikan, termasuk aspek kepemimpinan, sumber daya manusia, proses belajar mengajar, dan evaluasi. Hasilnya diharapkan akan memberikan rekomendasi yang praktis untuk diterapkan dalam manajemen mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang akan meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pendidikan kejurua
Leadership Styles and the Sustainability of Community Empowerment Initiatives for Educational Advancement in a Learning Center: A Systematic Literature
Effective leadership plays a crucial role in determining the sustainability of community empowerment initiatives in educational advancement, yet the relationship between leadership styles and long-term program sustainability in learning centers remains underexplored. This systematic literature review aims to examine the relationship between leadership styles and sustainability of community empowerment initiatives for educational advancement in learning centers, identify contributing factors to program sustainability, and analyze how contextual characteristics moderate leadership effectiveness. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this review analyzed 24 studies published between 2008-2025 retrieved from Scopus database. Articles were systematically screened using predetermined inclusion criteria focusing on leadership styles, community empowerment, and educational contexts. Data extraction covered bibliographic information, methodological characteristics, contextual factors, and key findings. Thematic analysis was conducted to synthesize findings across studies. Transformational leadership emerged as the most effective style for promoting sustainable community empowerment, demonstrated through enhanced vision creation, stakeholder engagement, and distributed leadership practices. Authentic leadership development programs showed significant impact on breaking barriers and creating sustainable empowerment opportunities. Key sustainability factors include gender-inclusive approaches, community coalition building, empowering supervision mechanisms, and systematic quality management. Contextual moderators such as cultural background, institutional size, resource availability, and program orientation significantly influence leadership effectiveness. Technology-mediated leadership approaches show promise for extending reach and impact of empowerment initiatives. Sustainable community empowerment requires integrated leadership models combining transformational, authentic, and distributed approaches with systematic attention to contextual factors. Success depends on both individual leadership capabilities and supportive organizational systems that facilitate collaboration, inclusion, and quality management. Future research should prioritize longitudinal studies, cross-cultural comparisons, and technology-mediated leadership development
Analisis Hubungan Antara Kecerdasan dan Kesiapan Sekolah Pada Siswa Preschool di Sekolah X
This study aims to analyze the relationship between intelligence level and school readiness in children aged 5–7 years who are about to enter elementary school. A total of 139 students participated, completing an intelligence test using the Coloured Progressive Matrices (CPM) and a school readiness test using the Nijmeegse Schoolbekwaamheids Test (NST). Results showed that most students had intelligence levels in the Grade I/Superior category (72%), Above Average (13%), Average (10%), Below Average (1%), and Mentally Deficient (4%). NST results indicated that 81% of students were classified as ready, 6% as undecided, and 14% as not ready. Less optimal readiness aspects included understanding numbers and comparisons, concentration, body awareness, fine motor skills, shape recognition, and story comprehension. Statistical analysis showed a Sig. value of 0.293 > 0.05, indicating no significant relationship between CPM and NST scores. These findings suggest that intelligence alone does not directly determine school readiness; other factors such as parenting style, developmental stimulation, physical health, motivation, and learning experiences also play a significant role. The study recommends holistic interventions that address both cognitive and non-cognitive skills to better prepare children for primary education
Implementasi Manajemen Peserta Didik dalam Meningkatkan Disiplin Belajar pada MA Laboraturium Jambi
Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh pemahaman komprehensif mengenai penerapan manajemen peserta didik dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa di MA Laboratorium Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan lokasi penelitian di MA Laboratorium Jambi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala madrasah dan beberapa siswa untuk menggali informasi terkait kebijakan kesiswaan, strategi peningkatan disiplin, peran guru, serta kerja sama dengan orang tua. Analisis dilakukan melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen peserta didik telah diterapkan melalui pendataan keterlambatan, pemberian sanksi edukatif, razia atribut, pembiasaan ibadah, serta pemberian penghargaan bagi siswa disiplin. Meskipun demikian, tingkat kedisiplinan belum merata karena masih terdapat siswa dan guru yang tidak konsisten menaati aturan. Secara keseluruhan, manajemen peserta didik berpengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan kedisiplinan, peningkatan keteraturan belajar, dan penguatan nilai religius. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan peserta didik sudah berjalan cukup baik, tetapi membutuhkan peningkatan konsistensi guru, pendekatan pembinaan yang lebih humanis, dan kerja sama lebih efektif antara madrasah, siswa, dan orang tua
Pendekatan Berbasis Pelanggan dalam Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan: Studi Kasus Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001 Muara Badak
This study examines the implementation of a customer-based approach in education quality management at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001 Muara Badak. Employing a qualitative research approach, this investigation seeks to identify implementation strategies, measure customer satisfaction levels, assess the impact on education quality, and identify constraints and challenges faced. Findings indicate that adopting a customer-oriented strategy effectively enhanced the standard of educational offerings and increased contentment among learners, their families, and educators. The school successfully integrated this approach through active stakeholder involvement in the education quality improvement process, including facility improvements and teacher training program development.
Strategi Dalam Kolaborasi Menguntungkan Dengan Mitra Pendidikan di SMKN 8 Samarinda
Dalam ranah pendidikan, membangun kemitraan yang saling menguntungkan dengan mitra adalah hal krusial untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan akses pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus kualitatif di SMKN 8 Samarinda, yang telah sukses mengadakan berbagai kolaborasi dengan industri dan lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Metode penelitian meliputi wawancara mendalam dengan pihak sekolah, mitra industri, dan siswa; analisis dokumen terkait program kolaboratif; serta observasi langsung terhadap kegiatan kolaborasi di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan reputasi sekolah, kompetensi siswa dan guru, serta mengatasi keterbatasan sumber daya. Kesimpulannya, strategi kolaborasi yang baik, dengan komunikasi terbuka, perencanaan yang matang, dan evaluasi berkala, dapat memberikan manfaat signifikan bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan. Perlunya pelatihan khusus bagi guru dan siswa dalam menjalin kemitraan, pembentukan tim khusus yang bertanggung jawab untuk mengelola dan memantau kolaborasi, serta pengembangan sistem evaluasi yang komprehensif untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan peningkatan kualitas kerjasama
