Penggunaan teknologi pertanian menyebabkan petani berubah kearah pemikiran yang bersifat komersial dan pemikiran tersebut membawa pengaruh terhadap tata kehidupan masyarakat yaitu memudarnya hubungan sosial. Hal ini nampak pada bubungan kerja petani dan buruh tani yaitu dari kerja gotong royong, hubungan kerja tolong menolong menjadi hubungan kerja upah mengupah. Disamping itu perubahan kelembagaan hubungan kerja petani- buruh tani dapat di pengaruhi luas tanah garapan dan hubungan social kekerabatan maupun ketetanggaan

Spatial order can’t be part from law basic that is UUD’45 and GBHN, in order to the management can be integrated and keep the environment. Spatial order also take note of physical factor and non physical factor. Physical factor consist of soil, water, flora, and fauna. Non physical factors consist of environment, social, economic, and soon. The principle of arrangement of spatial order in a region include national region, regional and local, and a region as an administrative baoundary, that is local government authority, like province, district, subdistrict, and village. The effort for spatial ordering of the environment, for example ordering resource, arrangement of allocation and location, arrangement of environmental aesthetic  and arrangement of environmental quality

Geografi mengkaji kejahatan dari segi keruangan, lingkungan dan kewilayahan. Dari segi keruangan akan diperoleh persebaran berbagai jenis kejahatan baik asal pelaku maupun tempat peristiwa kejahatan terjadi serta asosiasi keruangannya dengan faktorfaktor sosial, ekonomi, budaya dan lingkungan. Tidak semua jenis kejahatan mempunyai pola keruangan yang jelas. Geografi dapat memberi sumbangan terhadap pemecahan masalah kejahatan di perkotaan dengan pendekatan keruangan, lingkungan dan wilayah tersebut

    Umbul Sungsang spring located in the foot of a Merapi is on shift zone between volcanic foot plain and fluvial volcanic fott plain constitutes spring belt. Up to the present, the population use that spring for drinking water and irrigation. The planning of taking water by Municipal Waterworks to supply Solo population causes people around it worried because the usually use that spring. Therefore it is needed to conduct a research to know the potential of that spring. The aim of this research is to account how much the need of drinking water, manucipal waterworks and irrigation and the potential of the spring which is available. The research uses survey method. Primary and secondary data are collected, analyzed quantitatively by using software aid to do simulation the need of irrigation. The result of the research shows that the need of drinking water is 0.068 lt/second/day taken in dry season; manucipal waterworks uses 200 lt/second/day and for irrigation is about 442.2 lt/second/day with the pattern rice – tobacco – rice. Irrigation is also supplied from Bendung Bukur Ireng. The result of the research also shows that in October period I, II, III, and November period II and I lack of water. Therefore municipal waterworks must not use water on Otober and November, while on July and September adjust to the rest of discharge of water, which is available. Its water quality fulfils the requirement for various needs

    National Park of Meru Betiri (TNMB) is one of National Park which exist in the region tip East Java Part of South arch residing in region tip East Java Part of South arch. This National Park has various function in protecting system of the life of flora and fauna with the ecosystems. The existence of National Park has a big advantagerus for the communities who live around the area. Along with change of period to governance in the new order becomes a reform governance makes the TN-MB ruined as the effect of foray. Hall Management of DAS Sampean-Madura (2002) reports that National Park of Meru Betiri which its width 58.000 Ha, for about 4.023 Ha have destroyed without vegetation or it becomes farm of season crop. With that condition, so the area is specified as Rehabilitation zone The research is conducted with the method of survey then clarified with the method of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Analyses data used by the descriptive analysis qualitative. The result of the research can be known that there is a high resistence or threat to the society who live around the TN MB which specified with the job where mostly as a farmer ( 35,86 %) and hard farmer (38,74 %) while the most agraris 16,6 person / Ha. Mine’s land for about 0,219 Ha / KK and productive age 63,8 %. So, it can be conclude that the rehabilitation of TN MB for this time is more concentrate to the zone area of rehabilitation and the edvantage of avoiding the farm to the jungle zone and conten zone. It is also necessary that the factor of social economic not only used to formulate the zonasi but it also used as a basis for a reconstruction of Merubetiri National Park

    Outburst Flood Simulation Model for Optimizing the Solo River Floods Emergency Response Activities

    This study aims to develop flood inundation based on several flood level. The results of this study are: (a) land use in the study area is divided into (1) urban area (the Business Area) which includes regional administrative center, shopping area, and office area, (2) residential areas (single home region, the region multi- unit house (residence), settlement areas and apartments), (3) industrial estate (industrial estates are less dense and dense industrial area), (4) the surface area covered with vegetation (forest - thicket, meadow area, and the area of land productive rice fields and fields), (5) the area of open land and vacant land that is intended (the city park , cemetery and park area, and (6) transportation area and the pavement surface area (area train station and bus terminal region), (b) the preparation of spatial database in this study in the form of data or data vector altitude of Digital Elevation Model (DEM). District of Jebres there are 56 points of elevation and District of Pasar Kliwon there are 48 points of elevation. Elevation of the study area ranged from 88,9 mpdal up to 127.65 mdpal and (c) the higher the flood inundation scenarios impact on land use in the study area are also getting bigger. Most obvious impact under scenario 2 m area of 296 601 m , while the smallest impact under scenario 1 m with an area of 77 693 m 2 2 impact. Extensive simulation results based on the total impact amounts to 544 756 m

    Emerging concentration of COx gas as an emision gases that was caused by vehicle will create that air quality degradation in urban area. Air quality mapping was needed as a based map to solved on air quality problem in urban area. The aim of this research are mapping of air quality in Surakarta Municipality and to select the cartographic symbols which optimum to represent of air quality data especially Cox for more readable and analysis. Data collecting based on field survey in some observation point that derived purposively on several roads and dense traffict. Field data plotting on the map are used in some symbols such as pie-graph, bar-graph, and text. The mentioned symbols are usual in cartography to represent of point symbol. The result of this research is distribution map of COx concentration in Surakarta Municipality. The road which has high COx concentration are cross jucntion in downtown (west side of Pasar Klewer), cross junction of Yos Sudarso street, Slamet Riyadi Street, and cross junction of Hay Lay (Wates). The used of pie-graph and bar-graph symbols produce more interesting map visually, but unfortunately the symbols cover up the information in their based map. The used of text symbol is more easy to handle for lay out, so the background object in based map is uncovere, but visually the map is not interesting

    Management Optimization of Saguling Reservoir with Bellman Dynamic Programming and “Du Couloir” Iterative Method

    The increasingly growth of population and industry sector have lead to an enhanced demand for electrical energy. One of the electricity providers in the area of Java-Madura Bali (Jamali) is Saguling Reservoir. Saguling Reservoir is one of the three reservoirs that stem the flow of Citarum River in advance of to Jatiluhur and Cirata Reservoir. The average electricity production of Saguling Reservoir was 2,334,318.138 MWh/year in the period of 1986-2014. The water intake of Saguling Reservoir is the upstream Citarum Watershed with an area of 2340.88 km2 which also serves as the irrigation, inland fisheries, recreation, and other activities. An effort to improve the function of Saguling Reservoir in producing electrical energy is by optimizing the reservoir management. The optimization of Saguling Reservoir management in this study refers to Government Regulation No. 37/2010 on Dam/Reservoir Article 44 which states that the system of reservoir management consisting of the operation system in dry years, normal years, and wet years. In this research, the determination of the trajectory guideline in Saguling operation was divided in dry, normal and wet years. Trajectory guideline was conducted based on the electricity price of turbine inflow that various in every month. The determination of the trajectory guideline in various electricity price was done by using Program Dynamic Bellman (PD Bellman) and “Du Couloir” iterative method which the objective to optimize the gain from electricity production. and “Du Couloir” iterative method was development of PD Bellman that can calculate the value of gain with a smaller discretization until 0,1 juta m3 effectively where PD Bellman just calculate until 10 million m3.  Smaller discretization can give maximum benefit from electricity production and the trajectory guideline will be closer to trajectory actual so optimization of Saguling operation will be achieved

    Tulisan ini bertujuan membicarakan pernanan foto udara dalam perencanaan kota. Menurut Northam (1979) ada tujuh elemen dalam perencanaan kota,yakni: (1) studi kependudukan, (2) studi perumahan, (3) studi ekonomi, (4) studi penggunaan lahan, (5) studi transportasi, (6) perencanaan ruang terbuka dan tempat rekreasi, dan (7) fasilitas pemerintah dan fasilitas umum. Ada bebarapa variabel dalam setiap elemen perencanaan kota yang tidak dapat disadap dari foto udara. Namun demikian foto udara sangat membantu dalam perolehan data, deteksi perubahan dan analisis perubahannya, karena foto udara menyajikan bentuk dan lokasi obyek yang mirip dengan bentuk dan lokasinya di permukaan bumi

    Permasalah sumber daya air selama ini tidak hanya semakin meningkatnya jumlah air yang dikonsumsikan untuk air minum, pertanian dan industri, namun sudah masuk mengenai masalah pencemaran dan kerusakan sumber air. Tulisan ini membahas tentang sumber daya air permukaan khususnya sungai. Sungai di Indonesia selama ini banyak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di sekitarnya sebagai sumber air domestik, industri, pertanian, maupun tempat pemhuangan limbah, baik limbah padat maupun cair. Tindakan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya air yang tidak memperhatikan keseimbangan lingkungan tersehut akan merusak hubungan antara komponen ekosistem yang akhirnya akan merusak lingkungan itu sendiri. Kerusakan lingkungan pada suatu sistem Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) akan berakibat pada penurunan sumber daya air sungai.
