THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONTEXTUAL-BASED UNO STACKO LEARNING MEDIA IN THE THEMATIC LEARNING OF CLASS IV SD NEGERI 11 LUBUKLINGGAU
This study aims to develop a contextual-based Uno Stacko learning media design for valid, practical, and effective thematic learning. The subjects in this study were2 lecturers as media validators and language validators, class teachers, and 19 class IV.B students at SD Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau. The method used is Research and Development (RD) with a 4-D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of the assessment analysis of all validators obtained a score of 0.85 in the very valid category. Recapitulation of practicality percentage reached96.2%in the very practical category. Then the results of the effectiveness obtained an N-gain value of 0.8 in the high category. It can be concluded that the contextual-based Uno Stacko media is valid, practical, and effective. Thus, it can be stated that Contextual-based Uno Stacko media is suitable for use in thematic learning of fourth grade elementary school students.
STUDENTS' SKILLS IN DIGITAL LITERATURE USING COMIC PAGE CREATOR TO REALIZE PANCASILA STUDENT PROFILE
The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which digital literacy skills possessed by 5th grade students of SDN 2 Kedungrejo in thematic learning (Indonesian subjects with KD. 3.5 and 4.5) to realize the profile of Pancasila students by using a comic page creator. The steps used in solving this problem is to use descriptive research methods. The implementation of this research was carried out with the subject of 5th grade students of SD Negeri 2 Kedungrejo Kec. Kab. Lamongan consisting of 13 students with details of 5 male students and 8 female students. This activity lasts for 1 month in September 2021. The standard content of Indonesian subjects at the elementary level states that one of the objectives is for students to be able to convey their ideas and knowledge both orally and in writing . Literacy skills to realize the Pancasila student profile when associated with the objectives of these subjects can be summarized by the statement that digital literacy skills are Indonesian language skills by utilizing digital devices as a communication tool to convey ideas and knowledge in order to have global competence and behave according to Pancasila values. The use of the comic page creator application that can be accessed via a smartphone or gadget is one of the efforts as a form of teacher innovation in learning to develop student literacy skills through digital literacy activities to create a Pancasila student profile
PRECODING ACTIVITIES TO IMPROVE STUDENT'S COMPUTATIONAL THINKING SKILLS
Coding means telling the computer to do something. In order to achieve this, the coder must understand what the problem is and what the best solution is. One of the things needed is pre-coding skills, including computational thinking skills. This study aims to improve students' computational thinking skills as a pre-coding ability. This classroom action research was conducted at a public elementary school in Dauh Puri, Denpasar, involving 20 first grade students. Data were collected based on observations in working on activity sheets and the results of student work on activity sheets. The data that has been collected was analyzed by quantitative descriptive. The results of data analysis showed that the students' computational thinking ability increased from pre-cycle activities, cycle I and cycle II respectively from 47.70 % to 65.05% and increased again to 81.50%. This increase in scores indicates that students' computational thinking skills can be improved by using student age-appropriate activity sheets as the basis for coding skills without having to involve a computer
THE ROLE OF ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL DARUL KHAIRAT PONTIANAK IN FORMING SANTRI CHARACTERS
This study aims to determine how the Role of Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School Pontianak in Forming the Character of Santri. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Sources of data in this study are the results of observations on the activities of the Darul Khairat Pontianak Islamic Boarding School, interviews with educators, administrators, and students of the Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School in Pontianak, as well as documentation in the form of documents from the Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School Pontianak and photos during the research implementation. Data collection tools in the form of observation guidelines, interview guides and documentation. The results showed that the Darul Khairat Pondok Pesantren Pontianak has a teaching system that emphasizes character building, as well as educators who have a considerable effort in shaping the character of the santri to produce a generation of santri with character and character.This study aims to determine how the Role of Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School Pontianak in Forming the Character of Santri. This study aims to examine the literature on the analysis of learning facilities in the pandemic era on the effectiveness of online learning in elementary schools. The method used in this study is a literature study by carrying out the identification, screening and eligibility process for 5 articles obtained through Google Scholar. The result of this research is that the most chosen and used means is whatsapp because it is more practical and easy to use for elementary school level and parents can supervise the learning process
VOICETHREAD UTILIZATION AS SPEAKING SKILL ENHANCEMENT FOR STUDENTS IN EFL CONTEXT
This study is aimed at enhancing studentsβ speaking skills utilizing VoiceThread (VT) in EFL context since most of the students perceived that they got difficulties in speaking skills. Despite the difficulties in speaking, they perceived that mastering English speaking skills was essential to support their academic and career in the future. Due to the limitation in learning English in class causing limited time to develop speaking skills, VT is proposed as an additional instructional learning platform to support studentsβ learning outside the class. Using Classroom Action Research (CAR), this study was carried out following the steps of CAR proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart, i.e. planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were 34 students of Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program who were taking English course as one of the compulsory courses in the university. In utilizing VT, some procedures were carried out: 1) introducing VT, 2) introducing vocabulary and grammar used in the materials, 3) listening to an example how to do the task, 4) giving comments, and 5) getting feedback. At the end, after utilizing VT, it is found that VT can help students enhance their ability in speaking English
DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA PIMCA (PINTAR MEMBACA) TO HELP BEGINNING READING OF GRADE 1 SDN DUNGKEK 1
The aim of the research development is to: 1) Develop Pimca (Pintar Membaca) learning media to help students be able to begin reading; and 2) Know the response of teachers and students to the learning media pimca to help them read the beginning. This research refers to the 4D development model which includes the stages of definition, design,Β development, and dissemination.Β This development is only carried from the define stage,Β design,Β to the developmentΒ stage.Β The instrument used in this research was the media design validation sheet and the feasibility of the material. The results of media design validation get a percentage of 80% of media design experts.Β The validation of material feasibility gets aΒ percentage ofΒ 77%Β of material feasibility experts and is categorized as very suitable and not revised. The product trial stage results in student responses from 5 students of grade II elementary school as subjects research trials. The results of student responses showed very good criteria, it is 94%. Meanwhile, the results of the teacher's response showed very good criteria, namely 100%. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that the development of pimca media is suitable for use as a media for playing while learning because it has passed validation and has received good responses from students and teachers
The Urgency of Local Culture-Based Basic Education Purwokerto
This study aims to analyze the need for locally charged education to improve the quality of education in the Purwokerto area. This research is a qualitative research where data sources were obtained through Focus Group Discussions (FGD) involving 25 education practitioners. as well as through a questionnaire given to 250 users, namely grade 1-6 elementary school students who were randomly selected in the Purwokerto area. The results of this study were obtained in the form of a strategic plan for Purwokerto local culture-based education, namely through equity and expansion of access to Purwokerto culture-based education, improving quality, relevance and competitiveness rooted in regional culture, strengthening accountability governance and public image as supporting elements. The conclusion of this research is in the form of recommendation considerations for education containing local wisdom, including equity and expansion of access to learning with local Purwokerto culture to make the identity and identity of education in Purwokerto, improving quality, relevance and competitiveness through unique characteristics in the form of education with regional cultural wisdom, and strengthening governance, accountability and public image regarding education based on local culture
THE APPLICATION OF THE GUIDED INQUIRY LEARNING MODEL ON INDONESIAN LEARNING STUDENTS OF CLASS V SD NEGERI 39 LUBUKLINGGAU
This study aims to determine the completion of the Indonesian language learning outcomes for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 39 Lubuklinggau. The research method used is in the form of Pre Experimental Design. The population is the entire fifth grade of SD Negeri 39 Lubuklinggau and at the same time the research sample is 26 students. The data was collected using a test technique consisting of 9 questions. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test. Based on the results of the t-test analysis with a significant level of = 0.05, it was obtained that tcount (4.746) ttable (1.708) Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, so that it can be concluded that student learning outcomes after participating in Indonesian language learning using the Guided Inquiry model are significantly complete. The average learning outcomes of pre-test (46.65) and post-test (77.51)
Macromedia Flash 8 Learning Media to Increase Learning Interest in Theme 2 Students Always Save Energy Class IV SD Negeri 016555 Asahan
This study aims to: (1) develop media using Macromedia Flash 8 applications in elementary thematic learning, (2) determine the feasibility of developing Canva applications in elementary thematic learning. This research is a type of Research and Development (RD) research with the ADDIE model which includes five steps, including: analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation . The subjects in this study were media expert validators, material experts, education practitioners, namely fourth grade teachers and fourth grade elementary school students. The research instruments used in data collection were questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Macromedia Flash 8 Application learning media in the Thematic Learning of the Always Save Energy Theme for Grade IV Elementary School is "Very Eligible" with details of the percentage of eligibility given by media experts in Sub Theme 1 of 86.6% with the category of "Very Eligible", Sub Theme media 2 of 83.3% in the "Very Eligible" category, Sub Theme media 3 by 86.6% in the "Very Eligible" category. Material experts on media Sub Theme 1 are 94% in the "Very Eligible" category, Sub Theme 2 is 94% in the "Very Eligible" category, Sub Theme 3 is 92% in the "Very Eligible" category. For education practitioners in media Sub Theme 1, 94% in the "Very Eligible" category, 94% in Sub Theme 2 in the "Very Eligible" category, 94% in Sub Theme 3 in the "Very Eligible" category, Individual trials of 95.2% with the "Very Eligible" category and small group trials of 93.7% with the "Very Eligible" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Macromedia Flash 8 Application learning media in the thematic learning of the Always Save Energy for grade IV SD Negeri 016555 Asahan is "very feasible" to be used by students during the learning process
