    PEMANFAATAN TUMBUHAN OBAT OLEH SUKU DAYAK KANAYATN DI DESA MAMEK KECAMATAN MENYUKE KABUPATEN LANDAK

    Mamek village of Menyuke district of Landak Regency is one of the villages with Dayak Kanatytn as its majority ethnic and they still use medicinal plants. The aims of this research were to catalogue the medicinal plants and its utilization pattern of Dayak Kanaytn in Mamek village. Data were collected by interviews the selected respondents through questionnaire.  The purposive sampling method was carried out and as much as 20% of total households of Mamek village was selected. There were 40 species of medicinal plants belongs to 31 plants family were used by Dayak Kanatyn in Mamek village. Types of medicinal plants based on leaf parts (18 plants species or 45%), decoction is the most common preparation method (32 species or 80%), oral is the most administration method (72%), home yard is the most plants sources location (17 species or 42,5%), and cultivated is the most cultivation method (35 species or 87,5%). The highest use value (UV) derived from sambung nyawa (Gymnathemum amygdalinum) (0.63). The highest informant consensus factor (ICF) with value 1 were obtained from diseases such as blood vomit, internal wound, swollen, sore, diarrhea, hepatitis, jaundice, measles, body odor, menstruation, urolitiasis, urinary tract infection, asthma, typhus, diabetic, mouthwash, digestion and palpitation. The highest fidelity level (FL) is 100% and value derived from alang  karue (Imperata Cylindrica), bawang merah (Allium cepa), bawang putih (Allium sativum), landep (Barleria prionitis), lengkuas (Alpinia galangal), bunga perujan (Ixora stricta roxb), ceri (Prunus avium), daun kesum (Polygonum minus), pepaya (Carica papaya), kedondong (Spondias dulcis forst), timun (Cucumis sativus), kelapa kuning (Cocos nucifera), mahkota dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa), pandan wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius), puring (Codiaeum variegatum), lokop (Physalis peruviana) dengan nilai 100%.Keywords: Dayak Kanayatn, Medicinal Plants, Mamek Villag

    Liana is a species of plant that has a way of growing by creeping, spreading, or hanging on its host, but its roots are still attached to the ground. Liana is one of the primate feeds in Cabang Panti Research Station. The riset was conducted from August 15 - September 15 2018 at the Cabang Panti Research Station-Gunung Palung National Park. This riset aims to obtain data on the diversity of liana species and is expected to provide data and information about the diversity of these plant species. The results showed in five habitat types namely the peat swamp forest habitat - freshwater swamps found 79 individuals, alluvial soil found 54 individuals, sandy rocks found 59 individuals, Lowland granite found 56 individuals and highland granite found 38 individuals.     Pasir Mayang beach in Pampang village, Sukadana sub-district, Kayong Utara regency, West Kalimantan Barat, has its own appeal, the of research was mayang is also decorated with large stones that add to its attraction. purpose this to know the potential of natural tourism attraction of the pasir mayang beach. The study was conducted using survey methods with interview/questionnaire techniques. Sampling/respondents were conducted accidentally and purposively. The results of research revealed that the potential and attraction of Pasir Mayang beach judget according to criteria of assessment are tourism attraction, conditions of socio-economic, accessibility, accommodation, infrastructure and supporting facilities as well as the availability of clean water. Total value of assessment natural tourism attraction potency is about 2419,1 with in average them of 403,18.     Bengkayang Regency is one of the regencies in West Borneo Province which has a diversity of resources and natural magnificence, that is Bukit Jamur, nature tourism is one of the activities that utilize the potential of natural resources and environmental management. This study aims to assess the potential of the Bukit Jamur natural tourism magnetism in Belangko, Bhakti Mulya Village, in Bengkayang Regency. The method used in this research is accidental sampling through interview techniques and the tool used for the data collection is questionnaire. The calculation results of the assessment criteria based on the 2003 ODKA ODTWA development standard classification that is the assessment of tourist magnetism, with the score 1004 or (B). This shows the magnetism of Bukit Jamur is potentially being developed as a natural tourist magnetism in Belangko, Bhakti Mulya Village, in Bengkayang Regency.Keywords: Assessment, Bengkayang, Bukit Jamur, ODTWA

    ETNOBOTANI REMPAH TRADISIONAL DI DESA EMPOTO KABUPATEN SANGGAU KALIMANTAN BARAT

    This study examines the ethnobotany of traditional spices in the Village of Empoto, Sanggau District, West Borneo. The research was conducted by interviewing, observing and making herbarium specimens. This study aims to record the plants spesies used as traditional spices, and explore the  patterns utilization of plants as traditional spices by the pople in the village of Empoto, Sanggau District, West Kalimantan. As many as 59 plants species from 27 families are traditionaly used by the communities in Empoto village as traditional spices. The most widely used of plant family is Zingiberaceae (8 species). The highest utilization of plants as spices are derived from Dayak tribe, followed by Malay tribe and simultaneous utilization of this both tribe, (100%, 28% and 28% respeetively). The pattern of utilization of spices used by the poeple in Empoto Village, Sanggau District,West Kalimantan is grouped into 7 patterns, namely spices as spices, flavour enhancers, aromatics, preservatives, naturalizers, softeners and coloring.Keywords : Empoto Village, Ethnobotany, Traditional Spice

    Food crops have long been used by the people of Goa Boma Village Monterado District Bengkayang Regency because of their simple processing and considerable availability in the forest. Based on the conditions of limitied infrastructure, accessibility and markets, it is interesting to conduct research on the Utilization of Foodstuffs at Goa Boma Village Monterado District Bengkayang Regency. The purpose of this study was to obtain data of the species and utilization pattern of plant utilization for foodstaff at Goa Boma Village. The research method is a survey method and data collection technique with interviews. Determination respondents by purposive sampling and addition also conducted abservations and literature study. Based on the results of interviews that have been conducted obtained as many as 94 spices of Goa Boma Village Monterado District Bengkayang Regency as food. Utilization patterns used as fruits were (37,23%), vegetables (27,23%), seasonings (13,82%), drinks (5,31%), carbohydrates (4,25%) and cereals (6,38%).Keywords : Food Crops, Goa Boma Village, Utilizatio

    Medicinal plants are one of the important components in medicine, which are traditional herbal remedies and have been used since hundreds of years ago, to solve various health problems it faces. Therefore traditional medicine needs to be nurtured, cared for and preserved, because it is a wealth of Indonesian culture. This study aims to obtain data on the number and type of medicinal plants as well as the use of medicinal plants, among others, how to mix medicinal ingredients, how to treat them and their efficacy by the people in Semandang Kiri Village, Simpang Hulu Subdistrict, Ketapang Regency. The benefits of this study are expected to be able to take action to preserve the existence of traditional medicinal plants so that they can be utilized optimally and sustainably by the people in the Semandang left village in the upstream intersection of Ketapang Regency, and can provide useful information on medicinal plants. This research is descriptive in nature using the snowball sampling technique or carried out sequentially by asking for information on the person interviewed or contacted beforehand. Based on the results of research on the types of medicinal plants used by communities around the Semandang Kiri village, the upstream intersection of Ketapang District, 56 species of medicinal plants were found in 38 families and the use of medicinal plants most utilized from 56 species.Keywords: Medicinal plants, utilization, traditional medicin

    The local People of Kalimantan until now still depend on nature, they uilize flora and fauna for daily needs. Dayak Kayaan community in Padua Mendalam Village, Putussibau Utara District, Kapuas Hulu Regency have diversity in the utilization of animal Species including the use of animals for traditional rituals. The purpose of this study was to collect data of animals species that used for traditional rituals Dayak Kayaan people in Padua Mendalam Village, Putussibau Utara District, Kapuas Hulu District. Data collection with survey method and interviews with selected respondents using snowball sampling technique. The results there were 9 species from 9 families, every species of family consisted of only 1 species. The body parts used for traditional rituals are blood, the whole body, tail, head, feathers an shells.     PENGARUH STIMULAN AKAR DAN MEDIA TUMBUH PADA PERTUMBUHAN SETEK PUCUK PUNAK (Tetramerista glabra Miq)

    Punak (Tetramerista glabra Miq) is an indigenous plant species growing in peat swamp forest that can be propagated vegetatively through shoot cuttings. Punak can be used as a material for plywood,boards, poles, and firewood. The purpose of this study was to obtain root stimulants and growth media to be suitable for the growth of punak shoot cuttings. This  research was conducted at the Silviculture Laboratory and screen house of the Ruang Pamer and Bursa Anggrek, UniversitasTanjungpura.This study used split plot design with a completely randomized design (CRD). The main plot factor was growth media with two levels of factor (cocopeat and cocopeat + husk charcoal) and the sub plot factor was root stimulants with three levels of factor (without root stimulants, rootone-F, and wood vinegar).  The results of this study show that the percentage of life of shoot cuttings was 80 %, while the percentage of cuttings was rooted at 66.66%. Therefore, the effect of root stimulant and growth media are not significant in the growth of punak shoot cuttings, as seen from the time of planting until three-month-observation.Keywords: cocopeat,  husk charcoal,  peat,  restoration,  wood vinega

    PERAN MASYARAKAT DESA SEJAHTERA DALAM PENGELOLAAN WISATA HUTAN MANGROVE DI KECAMATAN SUKADANA KABUPATEN KAYONG UTARA

    The community role is needed in the implementation of mangrove forest tourism management, especially in planning activities. The role of the community is the involvement of community itself in the development activities, both in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and the stages of esnjoying the results of the development itself. The purpose in this descriptive qualitative study was to determine the role of community in managing mangrove forest tourism in the subdistrict of Sukadana of Kayong Utara regency. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the analysis was carried out with descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the role of of the sejahtera village community in managing mangrove forest tourism is limited to the maintenance of natural resources, maintenance of cleanliness and nursery of mangrove forests. Due to mangrove forest management is still fully managed by The Gunung Palung National Park Agency, the role of the community in the management of tourism in mangrove forests is still low. Therefore, the involvement of the surrounding community needs special attention and other related parties in utilizing mangrove forest tourism.Keyword: community role, mangrove forest, themanagement of mangrove touris
