This study uses descriptive and associative surveys with interview techniques and the questionnaire contains a number of questions posed to respondents, collecting data using random purposive sampling. Data analysis using descriptive analysis of the chi square test and inferential analysis using the non-parametric statistical test of the Kendall Tau correlation. The number of respondents in the study were 72 people. The results of this study indicate that public perceptions tend to be positive, moderate level of knowledge, low income level, high cosmopolitan level. There is a positive and significant relationship between the level of knowledge and perception, and there is no significant and no relationship between income levels and cosmopolitan with community perceptions. Keywords: Local community Perception, Rubber Farmer

Ecotourism is one of the tourism activities that are environmentally sound by prioritizing aspects of nature conservation, aspects of socio-cultural empowerment of local communities and aspects of learning and education. Attractiveness is a factor that makes people want to visit and see directly to a place that has such an attraction. Ai Sipatn Lotus Peruntan is a hot spring in Cape Village in the protected forest area. During this time, many local villagers used Ai Sipatn Lotus Peruntan for recreation and for skin treatment because they believed they could cure skin diseases. The potential of Ai Sipatn Lotus Peruntan can be developed for Ecotourism Attractiveness, but there is not much presence of Ai Sipatn Lotus Peruntan, new visitors to some of the surrounding communities. Therefore the attractiveness of hot water sources makes people less aware of the information. The research objective is to assess the hot water attraction of Ai Sipatn Lotus Perun. The study was conducted in Cape Village, Jangkang Sub-District, Sanggau District for ± 3 weeks in April 2018. The research method used a survey method with the help of a questionnaire. Determination of respondents by accidental sampling. Data analysis by scoring and weighting refers to the ADO-ODTWA guideline of the 2003 PHKA Director-General. Assessment results of Ai Sipatn Hot Springs Lotus Peruntan Tourism Attraction on value elements of 157.33 After being obtained multiplied by the weight value of the assessment criteria of Ai Hot Springs tourist attraction Sipatn Lotus Peruntan which has a weight of 6, so that the value obtained for the assessment criteria for Ai Sipatn Lotus Peruntan Hot Springs tourist attraction to 157.33 x 6 = 943.98 shows that in terms of attractiveness, ODTWA Ai Sipatn lot up peruntan has a value of B or has good appeal. Keywords: attraction, hot water, natural attraction, nature touris

High demand for timber is not balanced with the availability of wood, so that wood products need to be diversified, one of diversified is particleboard. Particleboards that have good physical and mechanical properties do not guarantee have good resistance to termite attacks. Research aimed to determine the durability of particleboards, interaction between adhesive concentration and composition of materials, and the optimum of adhesive concentration and composition of materials that are resistant to termites attacks. This research used a factorial RAL pattern experimental design with two factors. First factor is an adhesive concentration (8%, 10%, 12%) and second factor is a composition materials of sorghum : acacia wood (100%:0%, 50%:50%, 0%:100%), where each treatment is repeated three replications. 2cm x 2cm x 1cm of particleboards put into plastic glass containing 55 termites (50 workers and 5 soldiers). Observed period is 21 days. The parameters observed were the weight loss of particleboard and mortality of termites. Based on the classification of particle board resistance, the results showed that particle board generally has a medium to very resistance, except for 8% adhesive concentration with composition 100%:0% that categorize class IV durability with the highest weight loss value. Particle board with 10% adhesive concentration and the composition materials of 50% sorghum stalk : 50% acacia wood is categorize in class II durability is a capable treatment to resist termites attacks. Keywords: acacia wood, baggase sorghum, Coptotermes curvignathus, durability, particleboar

The research aims to examine the physical and mechanical properties of cement board from sago fiber waste (Metroxylon Sp) based on cement size and composition and determine the best ratio of cement and sago fiber (Metroxylon sp) and meet the standards of JIS A 5417: 1992. The study was conducted at the Laboratorium WoodWorkshop, Wood Processing, Wood Technology and PT. Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Pontianak. The method used was an experimental method in a factorial Randomized Complete Design factorial experiment of 2 x 3 with 3 replications and a total of 18 experiments. The factors used in sago fiber length (Factor A) and fiber (Factor B).  The tests include physical properties and mechanical properties with a target density of 1 gr / cm³. The results showed that the average value of the physical properties of the cement board included density 0.9713 gr / cm³ - 1.2246 gr / cm³, moisture content 3.5054% - 3.9448%, water absorption 0.9746 % - 1.1318% and thick Development 0.8649% - 0.9892%. The mean mechanical properties of cement board include MOE 10,564,6646 kg / cm² - 35,475,7865 kg / cm² and MOR 7,5797 kg / cm² - 25,8554 kg / cm². The best research is in treatment (a1b2) with a ratio of cement and fiber (80:20) with a length of sago fiber 2 cm and meets the standards of JIS A 5417: 1992 with the of 23, with a physical property density value of 1.2198 gr / cm³, water content is 3.7401%, water absorption is 0.9944%, and thickness development is 0.9048%. The mechanical properties value of Modulus of Elasticity is 28439.1825 kg / cm² and Modulus of Rupture is 25.8554 kg / cm².Keyword:   Cement Comparison,  Fiber Length, Sago Fiber, Physical and Mechanical Properti

Green Open Space (RTH) is an area that extends / lanes and or groups, which use more open, where plants grow, both those that grow plants naturally and deliberately planted. In Law No. 26 of 2007, specifically mandates the need for the provision and utilization of green open spaces, the proportion of which is set at least 30% percent of the total area of the city, namely (20% of public green space and 10% private RTH). The study aims to determine the suitability of the implementation of green open space development in Pontianak city sub-district with Pontianak City RTRW and find out the causes that are not achieved if the green open space has not run smoothly. The research method used a survey method and ground check of green open space distribution in Pontianak city sub-district. The interview technique was to find out the perceptions of the surrounding community towards RTH areas in Pontianak Kota Sub-district. The results of the study from the Interpretation of IKONOS 2017 Images and the 2018 ground check in Pontianak Kota District in the year there were 22 green open spaces. The area of calculation of Existing and RTRW 2013-2033 almost reached the target, RTH Park reached 98.63%, RTH Funeral 89.83%, RTH Field 94.96%, and RTH Green Line had reached 104% of the RTRW 2013-2033Keywords: Development, Green Open Space, Pontianak, RTH Publi
