Factors Affecting Toxic Friendship Communication In WorkOrganizations In Palembang City
Full text linkThe work environment is a second home for people who have jobs. Communication behavior in friendship is important in building a good social relationship. However, not all friendships can have a positive impact, on the other hand, they can also have a negative impact, such as the term toxic friendship (bad/toxic friendship) in the work environment. This research aims to determine the factors that influence toxic friendship communication in work-organizational life in Palembang City. The theory used in this research is social identity theory. The research method uses quantitative with a total of 50 respondents. The data uses questionnaire data collection techniques via Google Forms. The research results show that if it is known that the KMO MSA value is 0.500 < 0.50 and the Bartlett\u27s Test of Sphericity (Sig.) value is 0.000 < 0.05, then the factor analysis can be continued because it meets the first requirement. The MSA value of all variables studied is > 0.50, so the second requirement in this factor analysis is fulfilled. The extraction value for all variables is >0.50. Thus it can be concluded that all variables can be used to explain factors. The variance explained table and Screen Plot show that 4 component points have an eigenvalue >1, so it can be interpreted that 4 factors are formed in toxic friendship communication that occurs in the work environment in Palembang City. The research results show that friendship dynamics can reveal the emergence of toxic friendships with unhealthy patterns. Friendships in a toxic work environment in the city of Palembang can be characterized by a lack of boundaries in communication, conflicts that are not resolved properly at work, and the emergence of passive aggressiveness at work, or even emotional manipulationLingkungan kerja pada dasarnya adalah rumah kedua bagi masyarakat yang memiliki pekerjaan. Perilaku komunikasi dalam pertemanan menjadi hal penting dalam membangun suatu hubungan sosial pertemanan yang baik. Namun, sebuah pertemanan tidak semua dapat berdampak positif, di sisi lain juga bisa berdampak negatif, seperti halnya terdapat istilah toxic frienship (pertemanan yang buruk/beracun) dalam lingkungan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi komunikasi toxic friendship dalam kehidupan organisasi kerja di Kota Palembang. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori social identity theory. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 50 orang. Data menggunakan teknik penggumpulan data kuesioner melalui google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya di ketahui nilai KMO MSA sebesar 0.500 < 0,50 dan nilai Bartlett’s Test Of Sphericity (Sig.) 0.000 < 0,05, maka analisis factor dapat di lanjutkan karena memenuhi persyaratan Pertama. Nilai MSA semua variable diteliti adalah > 0,50, maka persyaratan kedua dalam analisis factor ini pun terpenuhi. nilai extraction untuk semua variable adalah >0,50. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua variable dapat dipakai menjelaskan factor. Tabel variance explained dan Screen Plot menunjukkan ada 4 titik component yang memiliki nilai eigenvalue >1 maka dapat diartikan bahwa ada 4 faktor yang terbentuk dalam komunikasi toxic friendship yang terjadi di lingkungan kerja di Kota Palembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dinamika pertemanan bisa membuka cela munculnya pertemanan beracun dengan pola yang tidak sehat. Persahabatan di lingkungan kerja yang toxic di kota Palembang dapat ditandai dengan kurangnya Batasan dalam berkomunikasi, konflik yang tidak terselesaikan dengan baik saat bekerja, hingga munculnya sifat agresif pasif saat bekerja, atau bahkan manipulasi emosional
Collegial Collective Decision-Making Mechanisms and Communication
Full text linkThe effectiveness of decision - making is influenced by internal factors such as differences in point of view, conflicts between members, knowledge and experience of team members, trial documentation, and a culture of asking questions and seeking clarification. External influencing factors include pressure from stakeholders, environmental uncertainty, resource availability, and social norms and organizational culture. This study uses a qualitative method with the source of the source data from the speakers and the review of literature and other reading materials. Determination of informants in the study using purposive sampling techniques with data collected through interviews and observations. The location of this study is in the environment of Bawaslu of West Java Province and the structures below it. The Supreme Audit Board (BPK RI) session implements a collective collegial decision-making system, which involves all members of the session in discussion and deliberation to reach a consensus. To improve communication skills and teamwork, BPK RI can take strategic steps such as improving communication skills, creating an open environment, managing conflicts, seeking mutual understanding, and respecting the opinions of members.Efektivitas pengambilan keputusan dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti perbedaan sudut pandang, konflik antar anggota, pengetahuan dan pengalaman anggota tim, dokumentasi persidangan, serta budaya bertanya dan mencari klarifikasi. Faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi meliputi tekanan dari stakeholder, ketidakpastian lingkungan, ketersediaan sumber daya, serta norma sosial dan budaya organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sumber data sumber data dari narasumber dan penelaahan literatur dan bahan baca lainnya. Penentuan informan dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Lokasi Penelitian ini berada pada lingkungan Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Barat dan struktur dibawahnya. Sidang Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK RI) menerapkan sistem pengambilan keputusan kolegial kolektif, yang melibatkan seluruh anggota sidang dalam pembahasan dan musyawarah untuk mencapai mufakat. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan kerja sama tim, BPK RI dapat mengambil langkah strategis seperti meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, menciptakan lingkungan yang terbuka, mengelola konflik, mencari saling pengertian, serta menghargai pendapat anggota
Islamic Communication Ethics in the Gaza Genocide News on Instagram Account @Medan Talk
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis etika komunikasi Islam yang termanifestasikan dalam penulisan (caption) berita mengenai genosida Gaza yang diposting pada akun Instagram @Medan Talk selama periode Oktober-Desember 2023. Pemilihan @Medan Talk sebagai subjek studi yang didasarkan pada signifikansinya sebagai sumber informasi yang berpengaruh di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan etika komunikasi Islam yang terkandung pada caption postingan meliputi qaulan sadida, qaulan baligha, qaulan layyina, qaulan ma’rufa, qaulan maysura, dan qaulan karima dalam pemberitaan seputar genosida di Gaza, dengan dua etika komunikasi islam yaitu qaulan baligha dan qaulan maysura yang lebih mendominasi. Dapat dilihat bahwa etika komunikasi Islam dalam penelitian ini merupakan adaptasi dari etika komunikasi secara umum seperti menggunakan kalimat yang santun, jujur, tidak mengandung kalimat yang terkesan kasar, tidak provokatif, dan tidak mengandung unsur SARA. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan landasan bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengeksplorasi pemberitaan pada platform lainnya serta dengan pokok pembahasan yang lebih luas lagi.This study aims to examine Islamic communication ethics as manifested in news captions about the Gaza genocide posted on the Instagram account @Medan between October and December 2023. The significance of @Medan Talk as an influential source of information in Medan City led to its selection as the subject of study. This study employed the qualitative method, precisely the qualitative content analysis technique. The research findings revealed that the Islamic communication ethics contained in the captions include qaulan sadida, qaulan baligha, qaulan layyina, qaulan ma\u27rufa, qaulan maysura, and qaulan karima in reporting on the genocide in Gaza, with two Islamic communication ethics, qaulan baligha and qaulan maysura, dominating. This study\u27s Islamic communication ethics adapt to general communication ethics, such as being polite, honest, not rude, not provocative, and accessible to ethnicity, religion, race, and group elements. Hopefully, this research can provide a basis for further research to investigate news on other platforms and with broader discussion topics
Hustle Culture in Generation Z Study of Thematic Hadith
Full text linkAnalyzing the phenomena known as "hustle culture," which describes a culture of high ambition and intense labor, frequently at the sacrifice of personal wellbeing. Extreme dedication to work, giving up personal time, and internet connectivity that enables people to display their accomplishments are characteristics of hustle culture. This culture has a variety of effects on Generation Z. up the one hand, hustle culture can inspire self-reliance and an entrepreneurial mindset, giving this generation the will to experiment and take up unorthodox professions. On the other hand, the pressure to constantly be productive can lead to mental health problems, stress, and anxiety in addition to interfering with a healthy work-life balance. In contrast to other generations, Generation Z encounters hustling culture in a distinct setting. where their work style and personality are greatly influenced by technology and social media. They are nonetheless impacted by the pressure to succeed, even though they are more conscious of the value of work-life balance. Finding strategies to cope with this strain, foster an atmosphere that promotes wellbeing, and reward success without compromising mental health and interpersonal relationships is crucial for both people and society as a whole
The Meaning of Qolbun Salim in the Teramini Song by Ghea Indrawari
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti tentang makna-makna qolbun salim pada lagu Teramini karya Ghea Indrawari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni penelitian kualitatif. Data primer yang digunakan adalah lirik lagu. Adapun data sekunder berupa studi kepustakaan dari berbagai sumber dan literatur, seperti buku, jurnal, dan sumber dari internet. Data ini diambil dengan mendengarkan lagu, mencatat liriknya, dan mengklasifikasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa langkah. Pertama, memahami lagu secara seksama, alur lagu Teramini diperhatikan dengan teliti untuk memahami makna yang disampaikan oleh penyanyi kepada pendengarnya memalui lagu tersebut. Kedua, mencatat data yang didpat dari yaitu lirik lagu lirik lagu yang menunjukkan tanda dan makna Qolbun Salim. Ketiga, data dikelompokkan menjadi tiga yaitu denotasi, konotasi dan mitos. Keempat, menggabungkan semua hasil data untuk mendapat sebuah simpulan makna Qolbun Salim dalam lirik lagu Teramini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lagu ini memiliki makna-makna qolbun salim sebagai yang dimasukkan dalam lima istilah dasar, yakni; setiap manusia harus senantiasa memiliki hati yang sabar, ikhlas, tidak mudah berputus asa, bersyukur dan harus senantiasa memiliki keimanan dan ketakwaan kepada Allah Swt dalam menjalankan hidup yang penuh dengan rintangan, tantangan dan juga ujian.This study aims to research the meanings of qolbun salim in Teramini song by Ghea Indrawari. The research method used is qualitative research. The primary data used are song lyrics. The secondary data is a literature study from various sources and literature, such as books, journals, and sources from the internet. This data is taken by listening to the song, writing down the lyrics, and classifying them. This study was conducted in several steps. First, understanding the song carefully, the flow of Teramini\u27s song is carefully observed to understand the meaning conveyed by the singer to the listeners through the song. Second, recording the data that obtained from the song lyrics that show the signs and meanings of Qolbun Salim. Third, the data is classified into three, namely denotation, connotation and myth. Fourth, combining all the data results to get a conclusion about the meaning of Qolbun Salim in the lyrics of Teramini song. The results of this study indicate that this song has the meanings of qolbun salim as included in five basic terms, namely; Every human being must always have a patient, sincere heart, not easily discouraged, grateful and must always have faith and devotion to Allah SWT in living a life full of obstacles, challenges and tests
Faktor-Faktor Penghambat Pengembangan Pemasaran Melalui E-Katalog UMKM Berbahan Dasar Nanas Kota Prabumulih
No full textThe national development of Indonesia involves the active participation of society, with the government serving as a guide and facilitator in achieving general welfare. One sector that is a focus of development is Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which play a significant role in enhancing the economy, creating jobs, and supporting income distribution. In the city of Prabumulih, known for its pineapple potential, pineapple-based MSMEs are crucial to the local economy. However, MSME actors in Prabumulih face challenges in accessing digital marketing, particularly in utilizing government procurement platforms through E-Catalogs. Therefore, this study aims to identify the factors that hinder the development of marketing for pineapple-based MSMEs in Prabumulih through the E-Catalog system. Using a descriptive qualitative method and in-depth analysis, this research finds that a lack of guidance in digital marketing, limited access to information, and difficulties in meeting the formal requirements for e-purchasing are the main obstacles. This study recommends enhancing digital training, improving access to information, and providing technical assistance to MSME actors so they can adapt to the E-Catalog mechanism and thrive in the digital era.Pembangunan nasional Indonesia melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat, dengan pemerintah berperan sebagai panduan dan fasilitator dalam mencapai kesejahteraan umum. Salah satu sektor yang menjadi fokus pembangunan adalah Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), yang memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan ekonomi, menciptakan lapangan kerja, dan mendukung distribusi pendapatan. Di kota Prabumulih, yang dikenal dengan potensi nanasnya, UMKM berbasis nanas sangat penting bagi perekonomian lokal. Namun, pelaku UMKM di Prabumulih menghadapi tantangan dalam mengakses pemasaran digital, terutama dalam memanfaatkan platform pengadaan pemerintah melalui E-Katalog. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menghambat pengembangan pemasaran bagi UMKM berbasis nanas di Prabumulih melalui sistem E-Katalog. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan analisis mendalam, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kurangnya bimbingan dalam pemasaran digital, akses informasi yang terbatas, dan kesulitan dalam memenuhi persyaratan formal untuk e-pembelian adalah hambatan utama. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pelatihan digital, perbaikan akses informasi, dan pemberian bantuan teknis kepada pelaku UMKM agar mereka dapat beradaptasi dengan mekanisme E-Katalog dan berkembang di era digital.
The Messages in the Dynamics of Interpersonal Conflict in the Web Series "Terima Kost Putri"
Full text linkPerubahan signifikan pada dunia industri film mendorong cara mengakses, bentuk tontonan melalui penggunaan platform media sosial Youtube serta tidak terbatas pada layar lebar saja. Perkembangan Youtube di Indonesia saat ini dengan munculnya web series di tayangan chanel-chanel Youtube menjadi favorit dalam menghabiskan waktu luang ataupun waktu istirahat setelah beraktivitas. Film Web series merupakan bentuk tontonan masyarakat dengan konsep modern masa kini. Salah satu Film Web Series Youtube yang mengeksploarasi tema konflik dalam hubungan Interpersonal adalah web series “Terima Kost Putri” di publikasikan pada platform Youtube dengan akun @JalangkoteRasaKeju menjadi objek kajian peneliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan makan pesan dalam dinamika konflik interpersonal yang terdapat pada karakter rima dan nisa di film web series “Terima Kost Putri”. Selanjutnya peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif. Episode satu dan episode dua dipilih dan dijadikan bahan kajian untuk menemukan scene konflik antara tokoh rima dan nisa. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan semiotika charles sander peirce. Terdapat tiga komponen utama yang dikenal model Triadic yaitu Repesentament (Tanda) ,Object, dan Interpretant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat tiga makna pesan pertama berdasarkan aspek An Expressed Sttruggle makna pesan konflik interpersonal terlihat pada perbedaan latar belakang, preferensi, dan nilai-nilai yang dianut keduanya, dimana rima tidak tertarik dengan Film mapun Musik korea, sebaliknya sangat menggemari Film dan Musik Korea, kedua kesesuaian dengan aspek Perceived Scarce Resources dan Interference makan pesan konflik interpersonal terlihat adanya perbedaan dalam kepentingan mendesak dan pengaruh status sosial budaya, dimana situasi nisa sangat memerlukan toilet, sedangkan rima masih menggunakan toilet tersebut. Ketiga aspek konflik interpersonal yang relevan digunakan kembali Perceived Scarce Resources dan Interference dimana makna pesan konflik interpersonal berdasarkan kurangnya komunikasi terbuka antara keduanya menjadi hambatan, nisa memperlihatkan perasaan emosi kesal mendapati perilaku rima yang meninggalkan sampah di depan kamarnya serta menggunakan gelas miliknyaSignificant changes in the film industry encourage access via the YouTube platform and are no longer limited to the big screen. The current development of YouTube in Indonesia, with the emergence of web series on YouTube channels, has become a popular way to pass the time or relax after activities. Web series films are a form of public viewing that incorporates modern concepts. The researchers researched the web series "Terima Kost Putri" on YouTube, uploaded by @JalangkoteRasaKeju, which explores the theme of conflict in interpersonal relationships. This study aims to uncover the message hidden in the dynamics of interpersonal conflict depicted by the characters Rima and Nisa in the web series film "Terima Kost Putri." The researcher then used qualitative methods. The first and second episodes were chosen as study materials to identify scenes of conflict between Rima and Nisa, which were then analyzed using Charles Sanders Peirce\u27s semiotics. The Triadic model has three main components: Representation (Sign), Object, and Interpretant. The analysis shows that the first message has three meanings based on the An Expressed Struggle aspect. First, the meaning of interpersonal conflict messages can be seen in their differences in background, preferences, and values. Rima is not interested in Korean films or music.
On the contrary, Nisa likes Korean films and music. Second, based on the Perceived Scarce Resources and Interference aspects of interpersonal conflict messages, there are differences in urgent interests and the influence of socio-cultural status, where Nisa needs to use the toilet while Rima is still using it. Third, the relevant aspects of interpersonal conflict of Perceived Scarce Resources and Interference reappeared, where the meaning of interpersonal conflict messages based on the lack of open communication between them becomes an obstacle. Public relations functions to support relationships and a good name to the community. This good relationship can help obtain public support so that students can realize the school\u27s vision and mission. The research method used is a case study, which will examine public relations strategies including planning, implementation and evaluation of activities carried out to improve the school\u27s image. The results of the research show that the Public Relations strategy of SDIT Iqra\u27 1 in the city of Bengkulu carried out several stages including: 1) Planning, SDIT Iqra\u27 1 set specific, measurable and relevant goals, such as increasing recognition of academic achievements and strengthening relationships with the community. This plan includes developing a consistent message and choosing effective communication channels to reach the target audience. 2) Implementation, SDIT Iqra\u27 1 utilizes various media, including social media (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok), digital tabloids, and radio broadcasts to disseminate information and reach a wider audience, then carry out social activities for the community such as the Friday sharing program and sharing sacrificial meat during the Eid al-Adha holiday, 3) The evaluation carried out by SD IT Iqra\u27 1 includes media analysis, long-term impacts, and community involvement
Pengaruh Trend Komunikasi Virtual terhadap Kemahiran Komunikasi Interpersonal mahasiswa IUQI Bogor
Full text linkStudents at the Ummul Quro Al Islami Bogor Institute are currently more familiar and many even use virtual communication in their daily lives on campus, this is in line with the increasingly rapid growth of virtualcommunication platforms such as WhatsApp and the like, so this influences conversations in the real world. The aim of this research is to find out how the virtual communication trend influences students\u27 interpersonal communication skills. This research uses quantitative research methods. The research subjects were students of the Ummul Quro Institute from 9 existing study programs, namely KPI, BKI, MPI, PBA and others. The results of the research were related to an increase in the effectiveness of virtual communication but a decrease in interpersonal communication interactions. The main factor that is felt to be hindering is that the trend of virtual communication has not yet become more rapid so that students forget their identity in the real world due to their busy lives in the virtual world.Mahasiswa institut ummul Quro al Islami Bogor saat ini lebih familiar dan bahkan banyak yang menggunakan komunikasi secara virtual didalam kehidupan sehari-hari di lingkungan kampus, hal ini seiring dengan semakin pesatnya pertumbuhan flatfom komunikasi virtual seperti whatsapp dan sejenisnya sehingga ini mempengaruhi perbincangan di dunia nyata. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu ingin memperoleh bagaimana pengaruh trend komunikasi virtual terhadap Kemahiran komunikasi interpersonal mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah para mahasiswa institut ummul Quro dari 9 prodi yang ada yakni prodi KPI, BKI, MPI, PBA dan lain-lain.. Hasil penelitian berkaitan dengan peningkatan efektifitas komunikasi virtual namun penurunan interaksi komunikasi interpersonal. Faktor utama yang dirasakan menghambat yaitu belum semakin derasnya trend komunikasi virtual sehingga mahasiswa lupa akan jati dirinya di dunia nyata dikarenakan kesibukannya di dunia virtual.

This study\u27s method is descriptive qualitative, directly observing symptoms or events in the field, describing them as data, and drawing conclusions from the data. The findings of this study show that the Palembang City dawn safari program has a positive impact on the development of an Islamic society. Furthermore, regular activities at the mosque can foster a spirit of togetherness and strengthen friendships between communities. Also, the preachers always help Islamic insight people understand the concept of the Islamic religion comprehensively. Thus, we can strengthen the people\u27s economy by communicating with one another about both social and economic development.Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis program kegiatan safari subuh yang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Kota Palembang dengan melakukan pendekatan kegiatan safari subuh untuk memberikan wawasan keislaman serta konsep memakmurkan masjid oleh masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melihat langsung gejala atau kejadian yang terjadi dilapangan serta mendeskripsikannya menjadi sebuah data serta menarik kesimpulan dari data tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini program safari subuh Kota Palembang memberikan dampak positif dalam membangun masyarakat yang Islami serta dengan kegiatan dimasjid secara rutin dapat menumbuhkan jiwa kebersamaan, mempererat silaturahim antar masyarakat serta dengan adanya para da’i yang selalu memberikan wawasan keislaman membuat masyarakat memahami konsep agama Islam secara baik, kemudian dapat memperkuat ekonomi umat dengan saling berkomunikasi tentang pembangunan baik sosial dan ekonomi
