EFFECTIVENESS OF WARM COMPRESS IN REDUCING PAIN CONTRACTION ON FIRST STAGE OF LABOR
Introduction: Childbirth is a physiological process that occurs with pain due to contraction during especially in stage I and II. Response maternal to pain is very different, even still found mothers who can’t adapt to the pain, can’t control her emossion and will cause other complications during childbirth. A warm compress is one of nonfarmakologi techniques in pain management but for pregnancy and childbirth are not yet widely used. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of a warm compress in decreasing pain in childbirth contractions of first stage of labor. Method: Design of this research is the pre-ekperimental with the design of One-group pre-post test design. The population used in this research is the mother birthing physiological in BPM Kusmawati Surabaya. A large sample was 20 maternity mother, taken with quota sampling. The independent variable is a warm compress and the dependent is a scale of pain. The instrument is the observation sheet and SOP a warm compress. The data were analyzed using paired samples t test statistical test with a significant α level of 0.05. Result: Results paired t test (Paired samples t test) p value = 0.01. Discuccion: From this result can be concluded that warm compresses is effective in reducing the pain of contractions in the first stage of labor active phase. Based on this it is advisable for birth attendants to be able to implement measures to reduce pain during labor, including by way of warm compresses. This method is effective in addition, it is also very easy and can be done by the family or labor companion.

THE EFFECT OF NURSE THERAPEUTIC TOUCH THERAPY TO HOSPITALIZATION STRESS ON PRESCHOOL (AGED 3-6 YEARS) WHO GIVEN INFUSE INSTALATION PROCEDURE IN ADI HUSADA HOSPITAL SURABAYA
Introduction: Infuse installation procedures and stress of hospitalization could be the first crisis faced by children. At preschool age, children who were treated with infuse instalation procedure in hospital showed maladaptive response. Stress hospitalization is a response of person's body during received treatment at the hospital. Therapeutic touch therapy is nurse specific exercise therapy that developed touch contact and non-contact which useful to reduce maladaptive stress responses that be done when children showed behavioral stress. The study aimed to analyze the effect of therapeutic touch therapy to hospitalization stress in children aged 3-6 years who performed infuse instalation procedure. Method: Design of this study was quasy-experimental, with pre and post experiment approach. The total sample was 24 respondents who were taken using consecutive sampling technique. Independent variable of this study was therapeutic touch therapy and the dependent variable was hospitalization stress. Data were taken using standard operational procedures (SPO) as instrument and observation sheet then analyzed with Wilcoxon signed rank test. Result: The results of the treatment groups showed a significance level at α = 0.05 meaning hospitalization stress that caused by infuse instalation procedure has reduced because the results showed p = 0.003. The result of Mann-Whithney test showed a significant level of p <0.05, where the hospitalization stress due to infuse installation procedures showed the value of p = 0.028. Discussion: Therapeutic touch therapy can reduce hospitalization stress in children aged 3-6 years. The result of this study can be one of the alternative methods to reduce hospitalization stress in children aged 3-6 years who performed infuse instalation procedure.

EFFECTIVENESS OF GRANT OF RED ROSELLA TEA AND MEAT FRUIT AVOCADO SIMVASTATIN COACH AS INTERVENTION IN LOWERING TOTAL CHOLESTEROL LEVELS TO HYPERCHOLESTEROLEMIA CLIENTS
Hypercholesterolemia is a condition characterized by high levels of total cholesterol in
the blood. Many studies have proven that steeping tea rosella and flesh of an avocado can lower
total cholesterol levels. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of therapy
companion rosella tea and bacon avocado in lowering total cholesterol levels in
hypercholesterolemic clients. This type of research is a quasi experimental study with pre-post
test control group design. The study population was a client with hypercholesterolemia in the
working area Menganti health centers. 1 large sample group consisted of nine respondents
received the drug Simvastatin 10 mg and rosella tea consumed as much as 2 g 1x / day. Group 2
consisted of nine respondents received the drug Simvastatin 10 mg and avocado meat weighing
330 grams were consumed 1x / day. The control group consisted of 11 respondents have a drug
Simvastatin 10 mg oral 1x daily at night before bed. All groups examined levels of blood total
cholesterol before treatment and after treatment on day 15. Results of paired t test pre-test and
post-test each group showed a difference in total blood cholesterol levels significantly. Results of
one-way ANOVA test showed no difference between the three groups with p = 0.025, while the
Bonferroni test results didapakan no difference between groups 1 and 2 with p = 1.000. The
conclusions of this research is giving rosella tea and bacon avocado has the same effectiveness in
lowering total cholesterol levels, so that health workers can suggest the use of rosella tea and
bacon avocado as a companion therapy to lower total cholesterol.

DEVELOPING MODEL IMPROVED COMPLIANCE BASED THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOR IN CLIENT TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS On COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER GUNDIH SURABAYA
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a disease that often caused complications that require care and long-term treatment. Preliminary study obtained from 10 respondents, 50 % of clients difficult to comply with diet , 60 % felt tired and bored to the treatment of diabetes , 10 % of clients have regular exercise , and 50 % of clients said that fear of complications of DM. The purpose of this study is Developing Model Improved Compliance Based Theory of Planned Behavior in Client Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus on Community Health Centre Gundih Surabaya. This study used explanative observational with cross sectional approach. The population in this research is type- 2 DM client who lives in community health centre Gundih Surabaya. Sampling technique used purposive sampling and 100 patient obtained as a sample. The variables in this study were age, sex, education, knowledge, attitudes, subjective norms, perceptions of control, intention, compliance management of diabetes and blood sugar levels. Data collection was using questionnaire and analyzed using PLS (Partial Least Square). Statistic analysis result shows there is significant relationship between attitude, subjective norm and percieved behavioral control toward intention with t-value 13,935. There is significant relationship between intention with compliance with t-value 7,80. There is significant relationship between compliance and blood sugar level with t-value 4,592. Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) stated that behavior could effectd by intention, attitude, subjctive norm and percieved behavioral control. Future study was expected used booklet “Diabetes Care Modul” to improve compliance.

RELATIONSHIP KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE OF NURSE WITH TECHNICAL ABILITY IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ORAL HYGIENE IN STROKE PATIENTS
Background : Oral hygiene is activity to clear the mouth, teeth and gums. Inability to care for stroke patients and there isn’t cure mouthwash, ointment, paste can replace effort to systematically clean the oral cavity. if there isn’t oral higiene can lead to mouth odor and can also occur oral infections. Therefore, it is necessary technical ability of nurses in the implementation of stroke patients oral hygiene. Methods : This study used a correlational design with cross-sectional approach. Sample of 12 respondents with total sampling techniques. There was two variables that independent variables is knowledge and attitudes, dependent variables is technical ability of nurse. The statistical tests is rank correlation (rho) with significance level α <0.05. Results : There was relationship between of knowledge with technical ability nurse of oral hygiene (ρ = 0.001), the attitude of nurses in the implementation oral hygiene associated with technical ability nurse (ρ = 0.002). Discussion : Knowledge and attitudes of nurses related to technical ability nurse of oral hygiene in patients with stroke. For further study is required number of samples that more and better measurements to obtain accurate results.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE BIRTH WEIGHT AND PERINEAL RUPTURE IN NORMAL LABOR IN PRIMIPAROUS WOMEN
Introduction : Perineal rupture which can be resulted from the baby’s birth weight mostly happens in the first labor and often appears in the next labors. The early survey shows the high incidence rate of perineal rupture in normal labor. Therefore, this research was purposed to find out the relationship between the birth weight and the level of perineal ruture in normal labor in primiparous women visting Puskesmas Taman Sidoarjo. Method : the design of research done from October until December 2015 was cross sectional. The population involved the primiparous women, totally 23 people visiting Puskesmas Taman Sidoarjo, in which 22 respondents were chosen as the samples by using the simple random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using Spearman’s Rank test with the α < 0.05. Result : the result of research showed that nearly all of the primiparous women delivered their babies with normal birth weight (81.8%), whereas most of them experienced the perineal rupture level II (68.2%). The result of Spearman’s Rank test showed that p = 0.021 in which 0.021 < 0.05 so that H1 was accepted illustrating that there was a relationship between the birth weight and the level of perineal ruture in normal labor in primiparous women visting Puskesmas Taman Sidoarjo. Discussion: In conclusion, the higher the birth weight is, the higher the risk of perineal rupture will happen. Therefore, the antenatal care should be developed more, especially in monitoring the birth weight during pregnancy because the fetal weight can be esimated by the increase of the mother’s birth weight.

DEVELOPMENT MODEL LEADERSHIP COMPETENCES AS EFFORT TO IMPROVEMENT MOTIVATION AND PERFORMANCE OF NURSES At General Hospital of Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat
Introduction: Leadership competencies are unsuitable that given the leadership
to employees, can decrease the motivation, performance and ultimately job
satisfaction. This research was conducted to develop a leadership competency
model as an effort to improve the motivation and performance of nurses so as to
improve health services. Methods: This research have two phase, phase one is
analytic observational with 140 sample, analysis data with partial least square
(PLS), formulation of strategic issues using focus group discussion(FGD), then
make a modul with some expertise. Phase two is quasy experimental with 32
sample divided into two group, there are treatment group and control group.
Analysis data in phase two with wilcoxon signed rank test and mann whitney.
Result and analysis:Phase one there is influence of internal factors (knowledge,
skills, and values) to the leadership competencies (t = 3.728> 1.96), there is
influence of external factors (cultural organizations) to the leadership
competencies (t = 2.257> 1.96), competence leadership influence motivation (t =
3,432> 1,96), leadership competencies influence to performance (t = 2.878> 1.96).
The second phase, calculation with Wilcoxon signed rank test showed there is
difference motivation in treatment group pre-test and post-test, Mann-Whitney
test showed there is influence of development leadership competency model to the
motivation of nurses. Test Wilcoxon signed rank test for performance of nurses
showed there is difference between pre-test and post-test, Mann-Whitney test was
obtained there is influence development of leadership competency model to the
performance of nurses.Development of competence model of leadership that most
influence the motivation and performance of nurses are leading ourselves
consisting of adaptation, self-image, initiative, integrity, learning capacity, selfawareness,
empathy, honesty, determination, responsibility, motivation,
organized, professional, role model, fair, and innovative.Conclution:
Development of leadership competency model can increase the motivation and
performance of nurses.

DEVELOPMENT OF NURSING DOCUMENTATION INSTRUMENT BASED ON STANDARDIZED NURSING LANGUAGE (NANDA-I, NOC, NIC)
Nursing documentation standards, in this case was using standardized nursing language, was
still a problem in the nursing profession. In order to produce a good nursing documentation,
need to be supported by good quality of documentations instruments. The purpose of this
research was the development of instrument nursing documentation based on Standardized
Nursing Language (NANDA-I, NOC, NIC). This study was action reserach carried out in 2
phases. Participants and sample selected with purposive sampling technique. Partisipants in
phase 1 were 15 and sample were 7. Participants for FGD phase 2 were 13 participants and
samples were 8. Analyze data using descriptive analysis, statistical analysis pearson product
moment correlation for validity test and cronbach alpha for reliability test. Result show that
nursing documentation instrument in the Room Teratai RS Amelia Pare was standardized
enough, development of nursing documentation instrument through FGD declared valid and
reliable with an average overall instrument r count > r table (0.754), results of the training
nursing documentation instrument made the most of the nurses (87.5%) have good skills and
instruments were expressed well by all nurses (100%). The development of nursing
documentation instrument based on Standardized Nursing Language (NANDA-I, NOC, NIC)
were assessement using reviow of system, nursing diagnosis using NANDA-International,
nursing intervention with outcome label using NOC and NIC, implementation as NIC
intervention, evaluation using SOAP where the objective depend on outcome NOC.
Recommendations for the Amelia Hospital was always evaluate routintly the nursing
documentation instrument appropriate with the standard and develop it as policy.
