Caring is a behavior of giving holistic assistance to individuals. In fact, this important behavior still has not routinely performed in current nursing practice. Personality and sipirituality are important factors in forming one’s caring behavior. Spirituality is a passion or impulse to perform noble action. The objective of this study was to explain the relationships of nurses’ spirituality and caring behavior. This study was an observational research with cross sectional design. Study participants were ward nurse in three hospitals. The participants were recruited consecutively from untill the desired quota satisfied. Questionnaires on caring behavior and spirituality were used to collect primary data. Multivariate data analysis with Structural Equation Modeling- Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the data. The results showed no significant relationships between nurses’ demographic characteristics (education, working experience, and wards type) and their spirituality or caring behavior. However, we found significant relationship of nurses’ spirituality and caring behavior. In conclusion, nurses spirituality could affect caring behavior in positive ways and potentially improve nursing practice

Emergency nursing is a part of competences of profession program aimed to encourage the students to think critically to overcome the nursing problems which threaten the clients' lives. The learning method used in this stage is the experiential clinical learning. However, problems in achieving the learning outcomes still occur recently to result in low outcomes of clinical learning. This study used explanative method to describe the causal relationship among variables. This study involved all nursing students of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery of Unusa. 72 students were taken as the samples by using simple random technique. The endogenous variables were the students' characteristics, observation factors, thinking process, learning behaviors, and experiential clinical learning. The exogenous variables, on the other hand, were the outcomes of clinical learning in emergency nursing in ners students. The results of statistic test with Partial Least Square showed that all indicators and constructs variable were valid and significant. the significance test using structural model (t > 1,96), showed that the students' characteristics affected the observation factor, thinking process, and experiential clinical learning. The variable of observation factor affected the thinking process and learning behaviors. The variable of thinking process affected learning behaviors. The variable of learning behaviors affected experiential clinical learning. In addition, the variable of experiential clinical learning influenced the outcomes of clinical learning in emergency nursing in ners students. Experiential clinical learning model is categorized as a good model and has a prediction value if applied can improve learning achievement of clinical learning in emergency nursing in ners students. The dominant factors of successful experiential clinical learning are the characteristics of the students and learning behavior in ners students. Key words: clinical learning of nursing, experiential, emergency in nursin

Introduction: Exposure to pathogens is a serious issue for nurses. The literature explains that standard precautions have not been taken consistently in nursing. The purpose of this study was to analyse the factors affecting the compliance of nurses in Myanmar in taking standard precautions. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design. Samples included 34 nurses in Waibagi Specialist Hospital (SHW), Myanmar. The independent variables were the characteristics of nurses, knowledge of standard precaution, and exposure to blood/body fluids and needle puncture wounds. The dependent variable was the performance of standard prevention. Data were analysed using descriptive analysis and logistic regression. Results: The results showed that almost respondents (91.18%) had a good knowledge of prevention standards and 73.5% of respondents had good adherence in taking standard precautions. However, in practice, nurses have not been consistent in closing the needles that have been used correctly. The results showed that nurse characteristics did not significantly affect adherence to standard precautions with statistical test results as follows: age (p = 0.97), gender (p = 1.00), religion (p = 0.72), education (p = 0.85), work experience at SHW (p = 0. 84), education training program (p = 0.71), knowledge (p = 0.76), and needle stick injury (p = 0,17). But, there was a significant influence between adherence to standard precautions and the incidence of injury due to needle puncture with p-value = 0.01. Discussion: The barriers to applying standard precautions by Myanmar nurses can be reduced by providing basic training, supervision, and improvement of standard operational procedures

Introduction: Stress and anxiety are state of physical and psychological stress due to demands of the self and the environment. Nurses need to provide alternative relaxation therapies, such as using music. Methods: Database searches are conducted through ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, Wiley Online Library, Springerlink, Ebsco, PubMed and Scopus with relevant keywords. Type and year of study, the study design, sample size, sample characteristics, interventions and results are presented. Results: Articles that met the study criteria were 13 articles. The results showed that listening to music in the context of health care is feasible, easy to implement and cost-effective interventions for all ages. Conclusion: Listening to music can be used for stress reduction purposes, with the greatest success when it happens with others or when overheard by reason of relaxation. Because many of the studies are at high risk of bias, the findings need to be further investigated. To the feature researchers were recommended to perform research using randomized controlled trials of type study by the same group. In order to obtain a smaller risk of bias and results of music therapy interventions have a higher level of validity. Keywords: Music, Stress, Anxiet
