Get PDFSome things are concerns in this study is to see what factors are the main attraction for people of PNG to spend their money in Indonesia (Skow-Wutung market), so the business man in downtown Jayapura initiative to trade with the people of PNG directly in the region border. Obviously with dependencies on Indonesian products, directly open opportunity for Indonesia to market their national products and local products, so that people on the border of the State was able to improve its economic status. This research using SWOT analysis to found what Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Treats faced in border area development. The result of this analysis found that border area in District Muara Tami is at 1st Quadrant, that means aggressive growth in the region can be achieved by using the strengths and opportunities that exist, Although there are weaknesses and threats but do not close the opportunity for the development of the trade sector to grow in this region even though they are still informal.Keywords: Cross-Border Trade, SWOT Analysi
Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Profitabilitas Perbankan
Get PDFThis research result shows that ratio of NPL, BOPO, and NIM influenced the profitability partially. But simultaneously, ratio of CAR, NPL, BOPO, LDR, and NIM influenced to the profitability. Based the research result, it is obtained the conclusion that if NIM in interest income over productive asset has an improvement, then BOPO in the operational cost that spent by related bank will be more efficient. And if LDR in serving and distributing the fund for people can be fulfilled, then NPL in repreship can be controlled and will improve capital adequacy to the CAR, thus it can improve bank profitability. Based on this research, it can be suggested to Bank BUMN Persero that it expected to be able to keep bank stability in order to make bank intermediate function can be running well, thus profitability as orientation of bank established can be fulfilled as expected target.Keywords: ROA CAR (Capital Adquacy Ratio), NPL (Non Performing Loan), BOPO (Biaya Operasional terhadap Pendapatan Operasional), LDR (Loan Deposito Ratio) and NIM (Net Interest Margin)

Get PDFFarming activity is not uncommon anymore for Indonesian people, especially for duck farming. Duck farming businesses are increasingly in demand as an alternative source of income for people in rural and peri-urban. Tawangrejo village Turi district, is one of the village in Lamongan in which the majority of communities maintain a duck as a profit-making business. This research approach is qualitative approach. The subjects were a group of SMEs business of Sumber Rejeki. These results indicate that the production strategies conducted by Sumber Rejeki group still basic and not in accordance with the existing potential in the Sumber Rejeki group itself as the potential of ecosystems that support, as well as high social capital. Limited land and the multiple roles of the housewife as the constrain is a major problem. Other obstacles that could hamper the productivity of farmers in the Sumber Rejeki group include limited capital, limited human resources, networking, as well as duck diseases. SMEs’ activitie of Sumber Rejeki is a form of local economic development through the utilization of the agricultural sector and the empowerment of women. The business development strategies that could be advised of the researcher are: (1) the ease of access to capital, (2) infrastructure support, (3) development of business scale, (4) development of business networks, marketing and business partnership, and (5) development of human resources.Keywords: Production, Constraint, Developing Strateg

ANALISIS EFISIENSI BELANJA DAERAH DI KABUPATEN SUMBAWA (Studi Kasus Bidang Pendidikan dan Kesehatan)
Get PDFThis research aims to (i) describe the level of expenditures efficiency of education and health in the district of sumbawa (ii) knowing the Government's efforts to improve the efficiency of Sumbawa district on education and health expenditures. A method of research used are a case study with quantitative and qualitative approach. The measurement of the efficiency of the method using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The research results show that (i) Occurring inefficiency on average, whether technical cost efficiency and technical system efficiency (ii) the Government's efforts to improve the efficiency of Sumbawa district on education and health expenditures are: (a) health sector, to overcome the shortage of medical personnel, with a horizontal reference, some clinics that become the reference horizontally, as satellite clinics, as well as empowerment of a Temporary Doctors and Temporary Midwives. (b) education sector, the ratio of teachers in each school who are relatively less, to anticipate, school are allowed to raise Temporary Teachers that be paid by the operational funds of the school. (c) Work zone or the subdivisions for packages of activities/programs so that the allocation of resources can be effectively and efficiently. The research is aimed to know what kinds of matters faced by Indonesian migrant workers of Malang Regency when they are in pre-placement time, placement time, and after placement time, know comparison of cost benefit had been had by Indonesian migrant workers of Malang Regency and the comparison of cost benefit between the destination countries. The outcomes of the research shows that based on the calculation yields of Cost Benefit Analysis of 15 ex-Indonesian migrant workers are wholly fulfilled the requirements to be prioritized, since in the Net Present Benefit (NPB) Method and also by Benefit Cost Ratio Method (BCR) all shows that the calculation yields are feasible to operate.
