How can co-institutional investors enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises? Evidence from China
No full textAs of 2023, institutional investors hold approximately 44.1% of the total market capitalization of China’s outstanding stocks. By simultaneously investing in multiple firms within the same industry, common institutional investors gain access to broader information channels and proprietary market insights at lower search costs. As shareholder linkages become increasingly common in the capital market, understanding their impact on firm behavior is of considerable practical relevance. This study empirically examines the relationship between common institutional investors and corporate innovation efficiency, using a panel of A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2010 to 2019. The results show that such investors enhance innovation efficiency through both monitoring and resource effects. Moreover, the effectiveness of these mechanisms is amplified by stronger internal control systems and better information environments. The study also finds that the impact of co-institutional investors is more pronounced in firms with higher agency costs and in non-state-owned enterprises. This research contributes to the literature on institutional ownership and innovation by providing micro-level evidence of the governance role played by co-institutional investors. It also offers practical insights for promoting sustainable and high-quality development in China and other developing economies

No full textTato bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem předzahrádek u bytových a panelových domů na sídlištích. Skrze zkoumání těchto drobných, neformálně upravených prostor nahlíží na způsoby, jakými se jednotlivci vztahují ke svému okolí, a jak péče o "nevlastní" prostor vytváří vztah k místu, komunitě i sobě samému. Práce zahrnuje i vlastní výzkum, založeným na rozhovorech s obyvateli sídlišť. Všechny respondentky vzešly z prostředí rodinných domů. Lze tedy předpokládat, že návyk péče o zahradu si přenášejí i do kolektivního prostředí sídlišť. Součástí výstupu je tak autorská foto-dokumentární kniha obsahující též přepisy rozhovorů. Součástí je také videoprojekce, která má sekundární úlohu oproti knize, avšak je součástí instalace. Práce zkoumá, jak drobné projevy péče mohou nést hodnotu estetickou, emocionální i společenskou, a pokládá otázku, zda a jak bude tento tichý typ participace přetrvávat v budoucnosti.This bachelor's thesis deals with the phenomenon of front gardens in residential and prefabricated buildings in housing estates. Through an examination of these small, informally landscaped spaces, it looks at the ways in which individuals relate to their surroundings, and how nurturing 'non-own' space creates a relationship with place, community and self. The thesis also includes self-reported research, based on interviews with residents of the estates. All interviewees came from a family housing background. It can therefore be assumed that they carry the habit of garden care into the collective environment of housing estates. The output thus includes an author's photo-documentary book containing also transcripts of the interviews. It also includes a video projection, which has a secondary role to the book, but is part of the installation. The work explores how small acts of care can carry aesthetic, emotional and social value, and asks whether and how this tacit type of participation will persist in the future

programu zadání vycházel ze znalostí a reálií místního podještědského prostředí se zaměřením na jejich podobu v současné době.
Obec Světlá pod Ještědem, historické letní sídlo Karolíny Světlé rozprostírající se na jižních svazích Ještědského hřebene je
sídelním celkem vesnického typu. V současném stavu je veřejný prostor obce prakticky redukován na prostranství s nejasnou
identitou dělené dopravními komunikacemi.
Ikonickým, ale chátrajícím objektem je fara, její okolí, které bylo kdysi významným místem setkávání, není dnes pro pobyt přívětivé.
Cílem návrhu je proměna území rozprostírajícího se mezi stávající základní školou, kostelem, památníkem K. Světlé, Antošovým
statkem a farou. Místo jako z románu, náves s potenciálem stát se prvkem podporujícím kulturní a společenské dění v obci.,
v současnosti ovšem v neutěšeném stavu.
Součástí je zpracování plánu s prvky regulace na možné rozšíření zástavby v blízkosti historického jádra obce, čímž lze částečně
eliminovat nekoncepční výstavbu rodinných domů v krajině.
Projekt zahrnuje obstarávání podkladů, analýzu a sestavení programu provozu a konzultace s odborníkyThe village of Světlá pod Ještědem, the historical summer residence of Karolína Světlá, spread out on the southern slopes of the Ještěd Ridge, is a settlement of the village type. In its current state, the public space of the village is practically reduced to an area with an unclear identity divided by transport routes. The iconic but dilapidated building is the rectory, its surroundings, which were once an important meeting place, are not welcoming today. The aim of the proposal is to transform the area extending between the existing elementary school, church, monument to K. Světlá, Antoš's farm and the rectory. A place like from a novel, a village square with the potential to become an element supporting cultural and social events in the village, currently in a deplorable state. Part of the development includes a plan with regulatory elements for the possible expansion of development near the historical core of the village, which can partially eliminate the unconceptual construction of family houses in the landscape. The project includes obtaining documents, analyzing and compiling an operation program, and consulting with experts
The restoration and expansion of the recreational center in Příhrazy
No full textBakalářská práce se zaměřuje na obnovu příhrazského areálu, který je od 90. let 20. století nevyužívaný. Cílem návrhu je revitalizace stávajících struktur, zejména původní budovy hotelu ze 60. let, kterou dále rozšiřuji o vlastní návrh netradičního typu ubytování situovaného v přilehlém lese.
Vzhledem k tomu, že od dětství žiji nedaleko řešeného území, mám osobní zkušenost s tím, jak negativně současný stav areálu ovlivňuje okolní krajinu. Cílem navržené obnovy je vytvořit zázemí pro pořádání dětských akcí, jako jsou letní tábory, školy v přírodě či sportovní soustředění.
Při rekonstrukci původního objektu jsem se rozhodl odstranit stávající komunikační část, kterou jsem nahradil vlastní přístavbou. Zbylé části objektu byly zachovány, avšak s výraznými dispozičními úpravami, jejichž cílem bylo zlepšení provozních vazeb a přizpůsobení budovy nové funkci. Objekt i celý areál zároveň prošly také estetickými a krajinářskými úpravami.
Součástí projektu je rovněž návrh nového typu ubytování umístěného v korunách stromů. Výsledná struktura sestává z okruhu vyvýšených stezek, ubytovacích kabin a doplňkového vybavení, které je pomocí navržené nosné konstrukce vyneseno do úrovně korun stromů. Návrh zahrnuje podobu jednotlivých ubytovacích jednotek, konstrukční řešení stezky, sociální zázemí, schodiště přecházející v rozhlednu a venkovní učebnu situovanou v korunách stromů. Tento "Tree Hotel" tak vytváří jedinečný zážitek z pobytu v přírodním prostředí Českého ráje.The bachelor's thesis focuses on the revitalization of the Příhrazský area, which has remained unused since the 1990s. The aim of the design is to restore the existing structures, particularly the original hotel building from the 1960s, which I further extend with my own proposal for an unconventional type of accommodation located in the adjacent forest.
Since I have lived near the site since childhood, I have personal experience with how the area's current condition negatively affects the surrounding landscape. The goal of the revitalization is to create facilities suitable for hosting children's activities, such as summer camps, outdoor schools, or sports training sessions.
During the renovation of the original building, I decided to remove the existing communication core, replacing it with my own extension. The remaining parts of the structure were preserved, but underwent significant spatial modifications aimed at improving operational flow and adapting the building to its new function. Both the building and the entire site also underwent aesthetic and landscape improvements.
The project also includes the design of a new type of accommodation located in the treetops. The resulting structure consists of a circuit of elevated walkways, accommodation cabins, and supporting facilities, all raised into the canopy using a custom-designed supporting structure. The proposal includes the design of the individual accommodation units, the walkway system, sanitary facilities, a staircase transitioning into a lookout tower, and an outdoor classroom situated among the trees. This "Tree Hotel" thus offers a unique experience of staying in the natural environment of the Bohemian Paradise

No full textVítkovice nemají žádné jasně definované centrum, žádné těžiště nebo urbanistickou čitelnost. Není zde náměstí či náves, ulice ani alej, jen domy, silnice a prázdný prostor kolem bez pojmenování, charakteru. Obec není stavěná pro lidi, je to shluk míst, které leží u sebe. Nevytváří ucelený prostor, domy jsou jen náhodnými dílečky posbíranými z různých stavebnic, naházené bez ladu a skladu do prostoru. Schází zde společenský prostor, je potřeba vytvořit také něco pro komunitu, na podporu jejího vzniku, nejen bydlení.Vítkovice has no clearly defined center, no center of gravity or urban legibility. There is no square or village square, street or alley, just houses, roads and empty space around it without names or character. The village is not built for people, it is a cluster of places that lie next to each other. It does not create a coherent space, the houses are just random pieces collected from various building kits, thrown haphazardly into the space. There is a lack of social space, it is also necessary to create something for the community, to support its creation, not just housing
Motivation for physical education in girls aged 11 to 12 years using dance activities

zaměřením na taneční aktivity. Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat faktory ovlivňující
motivaci k hodinám tělesné výchovy u této věkové skupiny a zjistit, jaký vliv může mít na
motivaci k hodinám Tv zařazení tanečních prvků do výuky. Program a sledování probíhalo na
základní školu v Děčíně. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny základní pojmy související s
motivací, tělesnou výchovou a tanečními aktivitami. Dále jsou popsány specifické
charakteristiky dívek v období staršího školního věku a jejich vztah k tělesné výchově.
Součástí teotetické části je také přehled faktorů ovlivňující motivaci k hodinám tělesné
výchovy, jako jsou vliv učitele, vrstevníků či způsob vedení výuky. Praktická část zahrnuje
výzkumnou metodologii a aplikovaný výzkum, který proběhl mezi žákyněmi základní školy v
Děčíně formou dotazníkového šetření a pozorování hodin tělesné výchovy, Výsledky
výzkumu jsou vyhodnoceny a prezentovány ve formě grafů. Závěr práce shrnuje poznatky a
nabízí doporučení pro pedagogy, kteří mohou využít taneční aktivity jako nástroj ke zvýšení
motivace u dívek k tělesné výchově.The bachelor's thesis deals with the motivation of girls aged 11 to 12 for physical education with a focus on dance activities. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the factors influencing the motivation for physical education classes in this age group and to determine what effect the inclusion of dance elements in the teaching can have on the motivation for TV classes. The program and monitoring took place at a primary school in Děčín. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts related to motivation, physical education and dance activities. The specific characteristics of girls in the older school age period and their relationship to physical education are also described. The theoretical part also includes an overview of factors influencing the motivation for physical education classes, such as the influence of the teacher, peers or the method of teaching. The practical part includes research methodology and applied research, which was carried out among primary school students in Děčín in the form of a questionnaire survey and observation of physical education classes. The research results are evaluated and presented in the form of graphs. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the findings and offers recommendations for educators who can use dance activities as a tool to increase girls' motivation for physical education
Success drivers of equity crowdfunding campaign. Empirical evidence from Poland
Full text linkThe success factors of equity crowdfunding are already well recognized in the literature but have not previously been studied in Poland. The aim of the paper is to fill the research gap by identifying the determinants of equity crowdfunding success in Poland based on empirical data. The article investigates whether and how entrepreneurs’ conscious use of the non-financial benefits linked to equity crowdfunding (ECF) influences the campaign’s success in Poland. We used data from a survey on the determinants of the success of equity crowdfunding. We conducted the survey using CAWI and CATI methods between September 2021 and January 2022 in collaboration with the Biostat Research and Development Centre as well as Beesfund, Crowdway and FindFunds platforms. Fifty-six companies accepted the invitation to participate in the study. Ultimately, the logistic regression model estimation was based on data obtained from 49 companies (28 of which had already succeeded in the equity crowdfunding campaign). Using the acquired data, we estimated a logistic regression model. As the results of our research show, the likelihood of campaign success is increased by the perception of equity crowdfunding as a tool enabling the acquisition of product and market knowledge, while using this form of financing mainly to obtain funds adversely affects the likelihood of campaign success. The results confirm that inPoland, as in other European countries, equity crowdfunding is no longer seen as a source of last-resort funding but is becoming more than just a fundraising tool. We recommend that entrepreneurs who plan to use this form of financing take advantage of the knowledge and experience of investors and treat equity crowdfunding as a strategic or first choice
Twenty years of efficiency research in Czech and Slovak banking – A bibliometric analysis
Full text linkThe article is a survey of 44 empirical studies that applied frontier techniques in analyzing efficiency of Czech and Slovak commercial banks in a hope to summarize the state of the art of efficiency research in Czech and Slovak banking. A sample of 44 journal articles was extracted from the Web of Science™ database, and a bibliometric analysis was conducted to identify the most active authors and most influential works to establish mutual relationships between them and to sketch the main research trajectories. The paper contributes to the extant literature by providing guidance for new researchers and identifying for efficiency research on Czech and Slovak banking: (i) the most productive authors as well as the works with the most impact; (ii) the network structure amongst the authors and works; and (iii) main paths of knowledge diffusion across the surveyed works. The findings indicate that efficiency research of Czech and Slovak banks grew out of global banking efficiency research and is thus its integral part. Lotka’s law applied to Czecho-Slovak banking efficiency research does not suggest that its productivity patterns are altogether different from its global counterpart. The first identifiable wave of research was represented by foreign authors who examined issues of economic transition and its impact on the performance of banks. This wave of research endured until about 2013, when the torch passed into the hands of authors of domestic provenience. The findings are useful in bridging the gap between the accumulated knowledge in the field and the new research directions
Energy companies’ readiness for the digital transformation of the purchasing process
Full text linkSocial and economic developments, the dynamic geopolitical situation, and climate policy changes are exerting an increasingly significant influence on stakeholders in the energy sector. In recent years, the sector has undergone a period of dynamic change, during which there has been a notable increase in awareness of the potential for digital transformation within the sector. A specific process that ensures the security and stability of supply is the purchasing process. The objective of this article is to identify the mechanisms that facilitate and impede the digital transformation of the purchasing process in energy companies in Poland. The research employed a qualitative exploratory methodology based on interviews with procurement executives from Polish energy companies. The findings of the research, together with their subsequent analysis, enabled the identification of ten factors that act as impediments to the digital transformation of the purchasing process in energy companies in Poland. The article puts forward five mechanisms that could assist in overcoming the identified obstacles to transforming the purchasing process.
