Fotografi Dokumenter Kehidupan di Rumah Gadang
No full textSupreme masterpiece born of a brilliant idea. That is the rationale aestetic. It should be added here, that a brilliant idea may not necessarily materialize into visual works good if not supported by means of casting ideas. As a nation that adheres to the philosophy of alam takambang jadi guru (natural surrounding is a teacher) they menyelarasi the natural order of life in a harmonious and dynamic, so that the theory of dialectical life called bakarano bakajadian (no cause and effect) that give rise to conflict and balance. Interest in the author of the Life Documentary Photography at The Rumah Gadang, because during this life or in the daily activities of life in the rumah gadang still retains the matrilineal system. Until now the system of matrilineal Minangkabau society due to the customs of the times, as they phrase and proverb-following proverb: “one big water, once the banks changed”. That is, that the customs rules they should be able to adapt to the motion of the times, in order to be preserved. Observation in the field corresponding author rumah gadang has encountered many homeowners who abandoned it, and now its existence has begun to decline, when seen from the rumah gadang cultural patterns have high historical value. No full textKassian Céphas is recognized as photographer Kraton Yogyakarta that has the equal rights of Europeans in the nineteenth century. Photographs of his work in addition to documentation of Yogyakarta and the Dutch empire, also sold as souvenirs for the Europeans. Although at that time the profession as a photographer is still scarce, but Céphas work professionally. Photographs by Céphas has recorded social and cultural development as part of the social dialectic. Attributes clothing, custom intergovernmental exchange visits, as well as efforts to obtain equal footing Céphas Europeans, showed a socio-cultural dialogue. Céphas works is a form of social description that has been cultured people of Yogyakarta, about art and knowledge though not necessarily a formal education. Video art which is a modern form of art will be integrated with the cinematic techniques of indefinitely experimental films. The results may not be too contrast to video art or experimental films that stands alone, but its uniqueness is that the concept of blend is performed to create a work that is capable to entertain the children with mental retardation.Children with mental retardation is a child who frequently forgotten in theprovision of facilities by the government and also forgotten in the acceptance of family affection. Glance they look normal, and it's physically not very different to normal children, but if we talk about things that should require complicated notion such as mathematics etc., they will be distress. This is because they have the intelligence level far below normal. Children with mental retardation are many came from poor families, so they are getting forgotten. Problem of mental retardation is not only studied through only one field of science, but by many other sciences, such as medicine, psychology, science, pharmacy and so on. In this case, the art also plays a role. In addition is able to produce works which entertaining, it can also become the object of study for other disciplines that are researching this problem.Naming the title of the work of the "the White Paper" is a symbol of a child with mental retardation. Through in-depth observation for several months along with them, then their thought were created as a symbol of the human figure who permanently innocent.They are as innocent sheet of white paper that ready to inscribe by parents, community, teachers and the surrounding neighborhood.Experimental video-art works for children with mental retardation under the title "the White Paper” will create a new work is devoted to people with mental retardation.This work was a new experience in watching by using the theory of the two major theories; that are, the theory of video art and experimental films

Seniman dalam menghadapi era industri kreatif tentunya membutuhkan strategi tertentu. terutama konsep dasar dalam formulasi strategi pada tingkat strategi bisnis, khususnya dalam industri kreatif. Telaah literatur menitikberatkan pada pendekatan strategi, apakah menggunakan strategi darurat (emergent strategy) atau strategi yang terartikulasi (deliberate strategy), atau campuran keduanya. Tulisan menawarkan salah satu pendekatan formulasi yang dikemukakan oleh Hambrick dan Fredrickson, 2001 yang dikenal dengan istilah Strategic Diamonds. Sebuah simpulan mengindikasikan bahwa Strategic Diamonds (Hambrick, 2001) sangat berguna dalam mengindentifikasi apa sebenarnya yang menjadi inti dari sebuah strategi. Elemen-elemen dari Strategic Diamonds dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai “penghubung” atau “titik pusat” dalam merancang sebuah sistem yang komprehensif dan terintegrasi. Amother who killed her own child, a wife who mutilated her own husband.“Me, Trimah That Woman”is an illustration about a woman who experienced and did a murder on her own way, killed her children and herhusband. What kind of thoughts and how could this happen, that made awoman, a mother, a wife is able to do this kind of thing?The story that packaged in this film tries to revive a group of pictures to represent dream and imagination world of the actor in surrealism style, and used as an effort to deliver the message non verbally through meaningful symbols. The symbol is also used to replace the violence scenes and the effects on film as well. Those entirely aimed in order to make this film to become a reflection, to grow the empathy, sympathy and also wisely understanding to judge an incident in this life

Culture as a strategy of survival is both transnational and translational. In addition, the purpose of this study is also to describe thefactors causing the writing of words and phrases' non-standard in the fieldof photography.This research used descriptive method with three stages, namely datacollecting stage, data analysis stage, and result data analysis presentationstage. Data collecting stage was conducted by observing the language used in words and phrases ‘non-standard’ in the field of photography. Observing was continued with the recording technique. Data analysis was conducted after the collected data had been classified. The analysis applied was describing the use of words and phrases 'non-standard' in the field of photography are presented along with justification and describing the factors causing the writing of words and phrases' non-standard in the field of photography. The presentation of result data analysis was presented in the informal and formal. The informal presentation of result data analysis used common words and the formal used tables.Words and phrases 'non-standard' in the field of photography is thepronunciation of words and phrases or writing does not meet standardnorms or rules that have been standardized. The words are classified asnon-standard should be avoided in formal situations or in writing scientificpapers, for example body kamera, diafrakma, detil foto, foto candit, fotoessay, fotogravi, fotografi portrait, monopot, pas photo, and tripot.
