    Internalization of Community Empowerment High Value in MSI Community

    Community empowerment, as mentioned in SDGs, nowadays becomes trend activity in the social world stage. Mentari Sehat Indonesia (MSI) implements a community empowerment practice based on noble values. Many internalization stages have been taken to maintain the existence of those values. This research aims to describe noble values existing in MSI community in community empowerment practice along with its internalization stages using universal noble value category developed by Kluckhohn. This research is a single case study with data sourcing from informant, library study, written document and archive, and visual data collected through interview, observation and documentation. Informant was selected purposively based on sex, leadership for regional subsidiary organization, and education level. Data was analyzed using an interactive model of analysis including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing as well as verification. Data validation was conducted using source triangulation technique. The research found various noble values existing in MSI Community:  nature of life, nature of work, and work ethos, relation between human and nature, perception on time, and relation between humans and their fellows. The internalization of noble values was conducted by MSI community through value transformation, value transaction, and trans-internalization stage

    Increasing Interest and Learning Outcomes in Sociology with the Problem Based Learning Model (PBL) Learning Model for Class X IPS Students at SMA Negeri 1 Kuala Behe

    The purpose of this study was to observe the problem-based learning model in an effort to improve students' interest and learning outcomes. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. In this study, the sociology teacher acted as the actor and the researcher as a collaborative partner as an observer. The learning process was conducted in 2 cycles, with 4 meetings in each cycle, consisting of action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection tools in this study were observation to observe students' learning interest, observation of teacher activities, tests to determine students' learning outcomes, and documentation. The results of this study showed that the sociology teacher's teaching using the problem-based learning model in cycle I and cycle II improved, as well as students' learning interest, which showed improvement in both cycles. Based on the research data, it was found that students' learning outcomes also improved from the pre-test and post-test results, with improvements in learning mastery for each cycle

    Analysis of Interests Students in Learning Geography in Class XI IIS in MAN 1 Sintang

    The objective of this research is to know how the interest of the students to study the subject of geography class XI IIS in MAN 1 Sintang, so that the teacher can find a solution to solve the problems felt by the students in their learning activities, so the students will gain success from their learning. The form of research used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques in this study use observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data collection tools used are observation sheets, documentation and interview guidelines. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model that consists of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results of the research showed that students of class XI IIS were interested in geography subjects. Students' interest in learning can be seen through 4 indicators, namely, the feeling of pleasure, the attention of the students, the involvement of students, and the willingness to learn the students. So students are said to be interested in geography subjects because they meet the four indicators of interest in learning

    Regional Development Planning for The Riam Ensiling Tourism Destination, Sanggau Regency

    The tourism sector in Indonesia stands out as an important regional income potential, especially for developing countries like Indonesia. The importance of the tourism sector in a social context can be seen from the expansion of employment opportunities and infrastructure development that supports tourism activities. From an economic perspective, the tourism sector contributes to regional income through taxes and foreign exchange obtained from tourists. Sanggau Regency, with its abundant cultural and natural riches, is expected to become a leading tourist destination in the future. This research focuses on the Riam Ensiling tourist destination area in Sanggau Regency, which has been identified as a Tourism Strategic Area. Through this analysis, it is hoped that it will be able to strengthen the implementation of development of tourist destination areas as an integral part of the Tourism Development Area in accordance with the Master Plan for Tourism Development in Sanggau Regency. This research uses qualitative methods to achieve research objectives with SWOT analysis to develop appropriate strategies. The results obtained from this research are that the Development Strategy for the Riam Ensiling Tourist Destination Area can be carried out by 1) Improving the quality of human resources; 2) Procurement of facilities and infrastructure to support tourism activities in Riam Ensiling; 3) Improvement of the facility maintenance system at Riam Ensiling; 4) Promote tourist attractions on social media; 5) Building Brand Image in Riam Ensiling; and 6) Establishing cooperation to procure the management budget for the Riam Ensiling tourist attraction

    Government Strategy in Overcoming Structural Poverty in the South Coast

    Structural poverty poses a significant challenge in many developing countries, including Indonesia. Based on the Republic of Indonesia Regulation Number 15 (2010) and the Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation Number 42 (2010), poverty alleviation requires coordinated efforts among stakeholders. This study highlights the integrated role of the community in formulating and implementing plans to reduce poverty. In the context of development, it is crucial to understand that structural poverty is often caused by the economic decline of communities, particularly related to access to land resources, such as agricultural land. The research methodology adopted is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to depict the government's strategies in addressing structural poverty in the South coastal areas. The research findings indicate that solving structural poverty issues requires targeted adjustments to enhance long-term effectiveness and positive impact. Collaboration between the government, communities, and non-governmental organizations is key to addressing structural poverty in coastal regions. With a deep understanding of the root causes of structural poverty, it is expected that the measures taken can provide sustainable solutions and positive impacts for the affected communities

    Implementation of Web Blog-Based E-Learning Media to Improve Students' Response and Interest in Sociology Learning for Class XI IPS 2

    This study aims to determine the use of Web Blog-based E-Learning media to increase students' responses and interest in learning sociology in class XI IPS2 SMA Negeri 2 Mandor. This study seeks to get clarity regarding student responses in Sociology subjects using Web Blogs. In addition, it also examines the interest in studying sociology after students are taught with Web Blogs. The research method that is suitable for use in this study is the ex-post facto method. Sociology learning Web Blog has been implemented, but the impact has never been measured. This study seeks to reveal the impact caused by Web Blogs used in sociology learning. Sampling was done by means of proportional random (proportional random sampling).The results of this study indicate that the use of Web Blogs in teaching Sociology at SMA Negeri 2 Mandor turns out to have a significant effect on both student responses and interest in studying sociology. The results are in line with the developed conceptual framework. If sociology learning uses Web Blogs, the response and interest of students in learning sociology increases. Based on the results of the data, facts and theories obtained on the use of blog media on learning interest in sociology learning at SMA Negeri 2 Mandor, it can be seen that this can happen for several reasons, including: the media blog is a means, intermediary or message delivery (subject matter) whose reception is through hearing and sight, conveyed from both the teacher and the actual reality

    Dayak Traditional Music Extracurricular Learning Strategy at SMP Negeri 03 Pontianak

    SMP Negeri 03 Pontianak's traditional music extracurricular programme has achieved a great deal. The traditional music processed and prepared for the province level competition is performed by a Dayak instrument group. The success of the Festival Lomba Siswa Seni Nasional (FLS2N) number one achievement is inextricably linked to the learning methodologies used by educators. The purpose of this study is to present the learning technique for Dayak traditional music extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 03 Pontianak. The research technique employed was descriptive, combining a case study and qualitative approach. Data were gathered by observation, in-depth interviews with two experts, and documentation. Data validity was achieved using source triangulation procedures and member checks in the last stage, which involved data analysis via condensation, distribution, verification, and conclusion drafting. The study found that four learning styles are used during the Dayak traditional music instruction process: expository, demonstration, problem-based, and collaborative. Furthermore, the teacher's function as a motivator is to encourage students' success in achieving their goals by providing excitement and arousing students' confidence in their ability to win. The implication of this research is that it can provide additional references for cultural arts teachers to have special strategies in order to obtain the desired goals and achievements

    Meaning of Marriage Tradition as Local Wisdom of The Malay Community in Seranggam Village Selakau Distric Sambas Regency

    This research aims to describe the Marriage Tradition of the Malay Community as Local Wisdom in Seranggam Village. This research used etnography research method. Interviews, observation and documentation have become the data-collection technique used. The marriage tradition of the Malay community in Seranggam Village is a custom that has been carried out by the community from generation to generation. There are three stages that the community goes through in the implementation of this marriage. The first stage that must be passed is before the marriage which begins with the implementation of bepari-pari, asking, then continues with cikram, but the stages before the marriage are not only finished there but are connected again with the implementation of the antar pinang. After that, followed by the procession of the akad nikah, the bride and groom went through the bepallam, bekasai, betangas and beinai processes. The stages that will be followed will be continued after the wedding, namely starting from between pakatan, hari besar or wedding party which is completed with the reading of the al-bazanji book, arak-arakan pengantin, duduk timbangan, makan saprahan, balik tikar filled with belulus bath activities and the last menjalankan pengantin. Each stage has its own meaning in it and the values contained in this wedding tradition are religious and cooperation values

    THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TAX INCENTIVE POLICIES IN SUPPORTING THE AVAILABILITY OF DRUG AND HEALTH DEVICES IN DUREN PALM HEALTH CENTER

    This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of incentives, efforts and tax barriers in supporting the availability of medicines and medical devices in handling Covid-19 at the Duren Sawit District Health Center. Data was collected through face-to-face interviews with each research subject. The research method used is a qualitative approach by adopting the theory of Merilee S. Grindle. The results of the study show that the Tax Incentive Policy has been well implemented to support the availability of medicines and medical devices in handling Covid-19 at the Duren Sawit District Health Center. However, this policy has not fully impacted the availability of the desired medicines and medical devices, due to several obstacles that have arisen from both the public and government sides as policy makers. These obstacles caused the community's economic recovery process during the pandemic era to not be optimal, and the realization of the tax incentives achieved was also not optimal. To overcome these obstacles, thorough supervision from the tax authorities is required regarding the implementation of this tax incentive. In addition, socialization activities are needed for the general public regarding tax incentives and their application. Puskesmas also need to plan program target strategies, such as prioritizing integration in service delivery and utilizing information and communication technology. The Ministry of Finance needs to focus more on optimizing the absorption of existing tax incentives
