    The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to explain the participation of the Yogyakarta community volunteers in teaching in learning activities that take place for school-age children in the Bener area, especially in learning to improve life skills. This research uses observation and interview methods. In connection with that, the results of the study show that the Yogyakarta community volunteers have played a good role in the application of life skills to school-age children who are in the true area, the applied life skills education contains several aspects, namely personal aspects, vocational aspects, and personal aspects. In the implementation of learning there are several obstacles but the volunteers of the Yogyakarta community teach are able to overcome these obstacles with learning efforts so that learning life skills can be implemented and bring changes to children

    The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all activities around the world including the world of education due to the widespread impact of the covid-19 learning process activities in schools have been temporarily suspended and diverted to online or online learning, however, many parents have pros and cons related to online learning. Sociology learning in the midst of Covid-19 has experienced changes where there should be direct social interaction in problem-solving (face-to-face) between teachers and students turning online due to social distancing restrictions where this learning is difficult to practice for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of online learning on sociology subjects at SMAN 4 Pandeglang. This research method uses qualitative methods, namely the form of interviews and observations. Based on the results of the interviews conducted, it can be seen that online learning still experiences problems such as some students do not have cellphones, unstable internet networks in remote areas, and learning media that are less supportive. In addition, students also sometimes struggle to do the assignments given by the teacher because the assignments given are too many, but students do not understand the learning materia

    The formation of national character which is mandated through education in schools at every level, but in its implementation has not given optimal results. The Strengthening Character Education Program designed by the government focuses on three main activities, namely Strengthening Class-Based Character Education, Strengthening Community-Based Character Education, and Strengthening School-Based Character Education. Strengthening Community-Based Character Education is intended to support and strengthen the character education that has been given in classrooms and schools. This study discusses local wisdom that is still adhered to by the indigenous people of Kampung Naga as a reinforcement for community-based character education. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation study. Data analysis is based on Miles & Huberman (2014), in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the indigenous people of Kampung Naga reflect the main character values contained in Character Strengthening Education. These character values include religion, nationalism, cooperation, independence, integrity, and cooperation. The manifestation of these character values can be seen in their lives, both physically (in the form of houses, clothes, and furniture), social (life of social interaction, cooperation, deliberation system), and culture (certain arts and ceremonies). warning).     The purpose of this study was to determine the Adaptation of Newcomers (Madura Sambas Ethnic) with Indigenous Peoples: A Study in Madu Sari Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. The background of this research is the number of ethnic Madurese after the ethnic riots in Sambas who fled and settled in Madu Sari Village, Kecamtan Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. In the process of adaptation, the Madurese Sambas (immigrants) and indigenous people (local people) experience many problems, especially problems of interaction related to religion, socio-culture, economy, and so on. The purpose of this research was to describe how the process of adaptation between Madurese Sambas (newcomers) and local indigenous people in Madu Sari Village. The method used in this research is the descriptive method with a qualitative approach. In connection with this, the results of the study show that there is a good adaptation between the immigrant Madurese ethnicity and the local population, namely the immigrant Madurese ethnicity always maintains a friendship with local villagers, behaves politely, is friendly, and participates in mutual cooperation on major holidays. is in the village

    The LGBT phenomenon has affected the community of various age groups, including students and students, in the city of Pariaman there are already students who have been influenced by LGBT influences. This researcher is aimed at describing how the efforts made by Pariaman 4 public High School in Socializing the danger of LGBT, aims to describe and analyze the efforts made by Pariaman 4 Public High School in Socializing the danger of LGBT. The theory used in this study is the functional structural theory explained by Talcott Parson. This research uses qualitative approach using descriptive type. Data collection methods used were non-participant observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. The infomants in this study were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection, data analysis methods of Milles and Huberman. Namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study revealed  that there were several efforts to socialize the dangers of LGBT first by conducting socia lization to the classes by Bk teachers, the second was counseling given by the health department about the dangers of LGBT with the school UKS, and finally tightening supervision provided by schools influenced by LGBT in SMAN 4 Kota Pariaman

    This study is entitled: "Implementation of the School Accreditation Policy in the Public High School (SMU) I Toho, Toho District, Mempawah Regency". Using qualitative analysis, the results of this study indicate that the  mplementation of the school accreditation system policy implemented by the West Kalimantan Province School Accreditation Board (BAS) towards the Toho I State High School since 2005 has been going well, and has had a positive impact on the average increase passing grade results of the Final School Examination (UAS) obtained by students majoring in Social Sciences and Natural Sciences at Toho I State High School in 2017 to 2018 when compared with the average value of UAS results obtained by Toho I State High School students in 2014, despite the increase in grades the average UAS results obtained by the students were still unsatisfactory for students' parents and the school. The results also showed that the performance of the school principal as the bureaucratic apparatus of the Toho State High School I in providing administrative services to the school community was seen from the aspect of responsiveness which could be said to be good, because school residents felt there was a communication channel provided by the Toho District Education Office to convey their aspirations. In addition, the ability of the bureaucratic apparatus at the Toho District Education Office to recognize what the school community wants through direct interaction with them, causes the demands and desires of the school community to be poured by the Toho subdistrict Education Office in the form of a work program which then get a positive response from the principal of Toho I State High School to implement it

    The general purpose of this study was to determine the ability and understanding to determine the area of building in class VI students at SDN 15 Laman Bukit in the subject of mathematics. Specifically, it is to describe 1) improvement of students 'understanding in determining the area of building in class VI students of SDN 15 Laman Bukit, 2) Describe the extent of the drill method to increase students' understanding in determining the area of building in grade VI students of SDN 15 Laman Bukit. The method used is Classroom Action Research and researchers as action actors. The subjects of this study were the sixth grade students of SDN 15 Laman Bukit in the academic year of 2019/2020 as many as 16 students consisting of 8 male students and 8 female students and mathematics class VI teachers who were also as researchers. The procedure of conducting Indonesian Language learning research uses audio visual media through four stages, namely: a) planning, b) implementation, c) reflection and d) evaluation. Data collection techniques in research are non-test techniques in the form of cycles, questionnaires, and documentation. The cycle is done individually or in groups to find out and observe the development of students' mathematical abilities in the learning process which includes aspects of communication, cooperation, confidence, and empathy in conducting activities in the process of learning mathematics. The instrument used during the observation was a cycle worksheet. The score given on the cycle sheet uses a scale of 1 - 5. The results showed an increase in students' mathematical ability in groups in the process of learning mathematics increased from 19% in the initial conditions to 30% in cycle I and increased to 40% in Cycle II from the good category in cycle II increased to very good in cycle III

With the problem of how social change in the village of Rasau Jaya 3, economic improvement after the construction of a flower garden, development planning or the addition of facilities. This research method is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources of this research are primary data and secondary data. The results showed that: after the construction of the flower garden in Rasau Jaya 3 village the development of social change there was increasing, the people there accepted the development of the flower garden, because with the development of the community's economy there could be increased, because the people there could sell at around the flower garden so that it can increase their economy again there, and there will be plans to add facilities in the flower garden so that it can attract visitors to keep coming to the flower garden of the flower garden rajati
