“PLACE ATTACHMENT” PEMUKIM PASCARELOKASI DI KOTA PALU
The limited of land and accesibility of the low income people in Palu city caused the growth of illegal informal settlements. Within its settlement development programs, the local government of Palu was applying a relocation policy. Relocation of the informal coast settlement for Besusu Barat and Talise district to Layana Indah in North Palu. After the relocation (pascarelokasi) some of dwellers behave the resisting, some of other hold out at settlement after the relocation. This condition showed the “place attachment”. Research to " place attachment" the settlement after relocation conducted a qualitative, through phenomenologic approach with symbolic interaction model. In order to validate the research, the researcher used qualitative approach with causal method. Analitic narative and statistical description were used for analizing the data.The result of research indicate that the place attachment of settler after relocation enable the happening of 'dilution' and also ' reinforcement' binding to its dwelling. In the end will give the mental picture about the ideal dwelling. The DCPT penatration resistance on each type of soil has a specific characteristic. The aim of this researchis to experimentally study of DCPT penetration resistance (qc and Rf) of sand for several water content (w)and dry density( d ) variation, and comparison with the same parameter of silt. The sample of sand takenfrom Palu-1’s bridge upstream. Test result showed that the variation of “w” have no significant influencefor qc and Rf. The higher thed the higher the qc and Rf. The objective of this research is to know mechanical properties of bitumen mixtures coconut charcoal powder. This research was done in Highway and transportation laboratory of Civil Department, Tadulako University. Percentage of coconut charcoal powder content based on weight of bitumen. The percentage of coconut charcoal powder in bitumen are 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% respectively and comparison with properties of bitumen without additive material. The properties of bitumen include the following: the penetration value of bitumen, the Ductility value, the softening point value, density of bitumen value, loss on heating of bitumen, flash and fire point of bitumen values.The result of this research indicates that the coconut charcoal powder in bitumen between 2% to 8% still enough for spesification except on ductility properties of bitumen values. This implies that, increment the coconut charcoal in bitumen potential influence on asphalt pavement include stiffness and brittle of mixtures
