ANALISIS PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PERENCANAAN DAN PEMBANGUNAN PLTMH DI PANEKI DESA POMBEWE KECAMATAN BIROMARU KABUPATEN SIGI
The purpose this research first, to know the level of society participation analysis and local institutiontowards planning, developing and generator management PLTMH at Paneki of Pombewe Biromaru DistrictSigi Regency; second, to know the role of local institution in the village in order to support this program.This research is a qualitative descriptive which is supported by quantitative with using of survey method ininformation and data collecting. Sample taking is conducted with non-probability sampling by using ofcensus or surfeited sampling technique. Hypothesis test is done by using frequency distribution table andcross tabulation.The results of this research indicates that, first, participation of society towards a planning, implementation,and management PLTMH in Paneki with the low percentage because socialization process is not so well,understanding degree of society is low, the society is focus in their activity, economic condition and sense ofbelonging on existence of PLTMH in Paneki is still less. Second, the role of local institution in this village tosupport this program is very low, because there is no coordination between village government and localinstitution as the channel of inspiration of society and also the attention of local institution towards thisPLTMH is very low

This paper describes the utilization of waste materials such as Styrofoam, Plastic PVC, coal ash dust and tiremarks on the hot mix asphalt concrete mixtures. The purpose of this paper is to explain that the potential useof waste materials in hot mix asphalt pavement.The data presented in this study is a secondary data from the research at the Laboratory of Transportationand Highways Faculty of Engineering, University of Tadulako that has been done by writers and members ofother researchers. In this paper the variables considered are the stability and durability of asphalt concretemixtures using the waste material.The results of this paper presentation shows the potential for material Styrofoam, plastic pvc, dust and coalash can be used in hot mix asphalt concrete mixture

OPTIMALISASI PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH BAJA SEBAGAI BETON BERAT (HIGH DENSITY CONCRETE)

Specimen of fine aggregate properties were bulk specific gravity, water content, water absorption andmodulus of fine. The specimen concrete of cube made with dimension 150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm.The result of experiment showed of properties of Portland cement between bulk specific gravity and modulusof fine were 3,14 and 5,40%. The result of experiment of properties fine aggregate showed bulk density,water content, bulk specific gravity and fine aggregate absorption were 1,73 t/m3; 0,72%; 2,61 and 0,28%.The result experiment compression strength of high density conrete showed of bulk density and compressionstrength of age 28 days average were 3,96 t/m3and 26,23 MP
STUDI PEMANFAATAN PARTIKEL KOMPOS UNTUK PEMBUATAN BATAKO RINGAN
One effort to reduce the weight of the building is through the use of light particles in the concrete or mortar.For that particles of compost to be one alternative to be used. Utilization of compost particles directly willreduce the effects of environmental pollution due to garbage. Technically, in some cases the strength ofconcrete is not a determining factor but rather the ductility. Therefore in this study will be reviewed andfurther analyzed the mechanical properties of lightweight concrete that uses compost particles as basicmaterials. Mechanical properties and tensile strength referred to is the compressive strength, with normalmortar as a comparison.Based on the results of the weight of the material obtained gr/cm3 mortar respectively, cement 1.25, sand1.60, 0.31 and compost particles with water content 12%. In this case the effect of adding compost is adecrease in compressive strength of 48.74%, 68.78% decrease in tensile strength and weight reduction of9.85%. In this case the application in the manufacture of bricks is still possible, if based on a minimumcompressive strength requirement. The composition of lightweight concrete blocks with a mixture of 3%addition of compost particles are 2Semen: 6.25 Sand: 4Kompos: 2.5 water, which will produce concreteblocks with a weight of 1.89 gr/cm3 and compressive strength 7.7 MP

Liability for construction failure is main issue in construction industry. Production process that involves many parties with various interests caused liability allocation for the construction failure to be complicated. One of cause premature failure is inappropriate between product and contract stipulation. This article aim to study in construction premature failure the study process through regulation analysis and previous research result related to cause premature failure during construction phase. The study found some problems which still require to be assured, and vital importance to be developed in UU No. 18 / 1999 about Construction Service as failure definition, period of liability, assessment criterion to failure still require to be developed to reduce assessor subjectivity, and level of compensation to the arising out costs and loss in failure case require to estimate
PERENCANAAN PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DI PERUMAHAN TAVANJUKA MAS
The purpose of this research is to know the solid waste volume which produced by society on Tavanjuka MasHousing and to determine the way to ménage solid waste. Collecting data in this research is done byinterview and direct measuring of solid waste volume on Tavanjuka Mas Housing. This research used 65numbers of samples to determine solid waste volume, then it are analyzed with simple linear regression usedMicrosoft Office Excel and geometric method to predict inhabitant sum. From the research result, theaverage solid waste volume produced by society on Tavanjuka Mas Housing1,3599 m3/day, which consist oforganic solid waste 0,920 m3/day and inorganic solid waste 0,4399 m3/day, with organic solid wastepercentage 67,72 % and inorganic solid waste percentage 32,28 %. Solid waste management on TavanjukaMas Housing can be done with sorting way, provision of place and then increasing of facilities like servicetransport of motor wagon with capacity 1 m3 as many 1 unit and the building of while place of exile withcapacity 1m3 for organic solid waste as many 2 units and inorganic solid waste as many 1 uni
ANALISA PENGARUH PERLAKUAN PANAS SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PENEMPERAN TERHADAP NILAI KEKERASAN PADA BAJA PERKAKAS HSS
The purpose of this research is to understand the effect of heat treatment before and after tempering on hardness with temperature variation of HSS steel. Heat treatment with temperature 500- 850 oC on specimens were tested and quenched on the water. Another specimen was tempered with 100, 250, 400, 500, 600 and 700 oC temperatures with air quenching. Hardness testing of these specimens has been done with Vickers and Rockwell method. Results show that heat treatment process with water quenching increases hardness and specimens tend to decrease their hardness with increasing temperatur
