    Carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CRFP), has over two decades become an increasingly notable material used in structural engineering application. CRFP could be used as prestressing materials due to their high strength. However research by improving the shear capacity of beam-column T-joints using CFRP composite materials is still in the early stages.The present paper describes some experimental results of unreal scale (one-third times the actual size) tests of concrete beam-column joints of several experiments by the Civil Construction Experts for 14 specimens. The variables considered were the composite system, the fiber orientation, and the surface preparation. The tests have demonstrated the viability of carbon FRP composites for their use in improving the shear capacity of the joints with inadequate confinement and their reinforcement analysis

    Asphalt Concrete Binder Course (AC-BC) Pavement is a type of asphalt pavement located between base layer and wearing course.  The study was conducted describing the the effect of the use of rice husk ash onthe characteristics of asphalt concrete AC-BC mixtures. The purpose of this study was to determine thecharacteristics of the asphalt concrete binder course mixtures (AC-BC) which uses rice husk ash as filler,determine the optimum percentage of rice husk filler in AC-BC pavement mixtures. Research materials include coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and rice husk ash. Coarse and fine aggregateobtained from Stone Cruiser of Taipa and Palu River, while rice husk ash obtained fromBiromaru area in Sigi Regency. Asphalt used in this study is Asphalt pen. 60/70 produced by Pertamina.Investigation and testing of these materials has been carried out in the Laboratory of Transportation andHighways, Department of Civil Tadulako University of Palu.Research has been carried out by using rice husk ash filler variation of 0%, 25% and 50%. The datacollected includes characteristics of volumetric and Marshall test characteristics of AC-BC pavementmixture on each rice husk ash content. The data include density, VIM, VMA, VFB, Stability, flow, MarshallQuotient value and residual stability of the mixture. The data is processed and displayed in graphical form,  then do a comparative analysis between the characteristics of the AC-BC mixture that uses rice husk ash andwithout rice husk ash.The results of the study found that increasing the percentage of rice husk ash content in the mix AC-BC tendsto increase the use of bitumen content. It can be seen from the increasing value of Optimum Bitumen Content(OBC) on rice husk ash variation of 0% - 50%.     Changes to the system activity around Palu Gulf Coast such as, the occupancy of hotel infrastructure, shopping centers and leisure facilities will impact on the Level of Service of Malonda street, in the present and the future. The aim of this study is to provide an alternative solutions that may be done to maintain level of services of Malonda street.The research data includes the data of traffic volume, travel time data of vehicle passing through the road segment is observed. Analysis and assessment level of services using Indonesian Highway Capacty Manual1997 and US-HCM 1994.The result found that the Level of Services of Malonda Street at this time is LOS C, while for the next 5 (five) years is LOS E.     Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) Pavement is located at the upper layer indirect contact with the vehicle wheel, rain and sunshine. This condition causes the pavement layer AC-WC susceptible to damagecaused by traffic loads, the influence of water and the hot sun as stripping. Currently, much effort has beendone such as the use of hydrates lime as an additive to improve the durability of the AC-WC pavement from damage. However, this study tries to use hydrates lime as a filler material in view of its influence onstripping resistance of AC-WC pavement. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of hydrates lime as a filler material to stripping resistance of AC-WC pavement. The test have been done on each percentage of hydrat lime: 0%, 25%, and 50%. Testing of AC-WC pavementto stripping  resistance using Immersion Compression Test to obtain the Index of Residual Strength (IRS)AC-WC pavement. Value of the residual strength index is an indicator of stripping resistanceof asphalt pavement. Testing of Immersion Compression Test using a Universal Testing Machine (UTM) atthe test temperature is 250C. Testing of Immersion Compression Test conducted for each percentage ofhydrate lime on the condition of Optimum Asphalt Content. The results of the study found that the use ofhydrat lime as a filler material can affect the stripping resistance of AC-WC pavement. This is indicated bythe increased value of the IRS pavement using hydrates lime as a filler material than without the use ofhydrate lime. The study also found that the IRS maximum value is 96.03% in the hydrat lime content of 25% and aminimum value of 94.48% IRS on the hydrate lime content of 50%.Keywords: Stripping resistance, hydrate lime, IR

    Concrete mixture for structure of the building is expected to according to the quality and specifications desired. With the addition of admixtures materials used for concrete mix, it is necessary to know the type, properties and benefits of admixture produced by various companies. Concrete used In this study were added admixtureof Plastiment-VZ for characters investigated.In this study used two variations of concrete, ie normal concrete and concrete with the addition PlastimentVZ with usage percentage of 0.20%, 0.40% and 0.60% of the weight of the cement used in normal concrete. Cylindrical specimens used for compressive strength testing with a total of 3 pieces for each test.The test results obtained average compressive strength of normal concrete (f'cr) of 27.554 MPa, and for concrete with the addition of-VZ Plastiment of 0.20% obtained an average compressive strength, f'cr = 29.252 MPa, the concrete with the addition of Plastiment-VZ 0.40%, obtained f'cr = 30.951 MPa, whereas the addition of 0.60% for the compressive strength at 28 days obtained at 32.083 MPa.Keywords: Compressive strength, Plastiment-V

    The rapid economic activity in Kendari  is indicated by  development of  central business  Lippo Plaza in MT.Haryono Roads Kendari. However, the consequences of the development of the central business  LippoPlaza  have affected on the environment in the form of increased noise and air pollution. The aim  of thisstudy was to determine the level of noise and air pollution in the existing conditions, and to determine thelevel of noise simulation.  The method  used in this study for the noise calculations  was based on " The Bookof Calculation of Road Traffic Noise " published by the Department of Transport , Welsh Office , HMSO(1988), and the method of calculation of pollutant concentration  used  an equation developed by SitiMalkamah. The results of this study showed that the highest noise levels occur on Holidays / Saturday in Segment 2 (front Jl.MT.Haryono Lippo Plaza ) of 70.11 dB ( A ), this value is above the noise quality standardssuggested by No. KepMenLH . 48 in 1996 , which is 70 dB ( A ). In addition, the value also has  exceeded ofthe maximum allowed for trade in the region ( Zone C ) Regulation of the Minister of HealthNo.718/Men/Kes/XI/1987. Variables such as traffic volume is high and a large reflection angle, couldincrease noise, while low-speed, high barrier width and spacing can reduce the noise level.  For pollutantlevels, the value of 4065.33 μg/nm3 content of CO, NOx at 200-300 μg/nm3 , μg/nm3 PM at 0.0097 , stillbelow the National Ambient Air Quality Standards ( PP RI 41, 1999 ) , namely 30000 μg/nm3 , 400 and 150μg/nm3 μg/nm3. While the HC 400 and 700 μg/nm3 μg/nm3 has exceeded the standard of 160 μg/nm3 .Recommendation suggested to address the noise problem at Jl.MT . Haryono is the adoption of the CoreStrategy, which is the application of one direction on one arm of the intersection at peak hours , thusresulting intersection service level increases from E to C.Keywords: Noise Simulation, Pollutant Consentration Simulatio

    The discourse made along Jl. Sis Aljufri as the  religious area tourism is a program to encourage the development of tourism sector and preservation of Islamic culture in Palu. In the area Plan, certain events are planned at the Jl. Sis Aljufri done closure of vehicular traffic flow so that all vehicles will enter the religion area through  Jl. Sis Aljufri will be transferred to some streets in the surrounding. Traffic volume data obtained through a survey of traffic volume.The survey of traffic volume at peak morning and evening has been done working day in June 2012. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of service Jl. Mangga, Jl. Datu Pamusu, Jl. S. Sausu and Jl. S. Moutong both existing conditions and current conditions of the transfer of traffic flow on Jl. Sis Aljufri.Methods of traffic data collection is done manually by recording vehicles passing on a road during peak hours. Methods of data collection side friction done manually by recording the vehicle stops, the slower vehicles, the pedestrians, vehicles in and out of the side of the road. The results of this study found that the road gets traffic diverted due to the closure of Jl. Sis Aljufri increased degree of saturation, which means a change in level of service

    This study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of the collector on the fluid mass flow rate variations in sunlight collectors on the configuration of the combined 'parallel-serpentine'. Value of the mass flow rate is 0.09, 0.18 and 0.36 ltr/min. Fluid drained from the reservoir of cold water through the collector pipe and into the parallel configuration serpentine configuration and then stored in the hot water tank. The test results showed that the efficiency of a mass flow rate achieved at the optimum 0.36 liter / min. This result is probably leading to suitable for domestic purposes

    FATMA Technology (Frequency And Time Multiple Access) is a form of progress of FDMA and TDMA are combined into one in which on one network can use up to 32 carrier frequencies (frequency division), and on each carrier should ideally be occupied by 32 nodes / stations simultaneously (time division).Technology in Indonesia Fatma access methods specifically used by Pertamina Oil Satellite Communication System (SKSP) in order to better communication between and among all units of the existing branches. In this study conducted an analysis of a network using the system point to point communication link between one point with another point of direct and multi-point systems and communication links with the mesh provided by ACT-ONE modem that uses Fatma.
