In Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province, there are still many low-income people (MBR) who live in uninhabitable houses (RTLH). The local government responded to this through the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS), which aims to improve the quality of RTLH houses through a community self-help approach. This research aims to examine how the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS) is implemented and the obstacles to implementing the Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS) in Lhokseumawe City. This research aims to examine how the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS) is implemented and the obstacles to implementing the Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS) in Lhokseumawe City. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the Miles & Huberman Interactive Analysis model (Sirajuddin 2017), including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of the BSPS program is only a type of program to improve the quality of housing suitability, but in implementation it still faces obstacles such as limited aid funds, lengthy bureaucracy, poor quality of materials, as well as indications of politicized practices and lack of coordination with the village government and lack of outreach to village communities. Nevertheless, the BSPS program is considered capable of improving the quality of life of the people. BSPS has the potential to become an important instrument in equalizing welfare and alleviating poverty based on decent and dignified housing

As the trend of fossil fuel use declines, green hydrogen importing and exporting countries have created a new polarity for the development of the green hydrogen industry, one of which is through the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) framework. The project, which aims to build regional connectivity for hydrogen infrastructure from Asia to Europe, has made India play a vital role in responding to various different interests ranging from the G7, the Quad, the Gulf States and the Middle East. Through qualitative research that is described explanatory, this study aims to explain India's role in navigating the dynamics of hydrogen geopolitics to reach the IMEC agreement. The results show that there is a three-way relationship dynamic between energy, international relations, and domestic politics of India with the G7, the Quad, and the Middle East countries which is manifested in the neo-mercantilism frame. This frame is seen as dominant in India's maneuvers that focus on the G2G approach to increase investment, research and technology, and regional stability, especially in the values of territorial integration and political independence

This study examines the relationship between the PDI Perjuangan Party and Islam in Indonesian electoral politics. This study is important because the relationship between nationalism and the position of Islam in the political realm of Indonesia with the largest Muslim population in the world is relatively complex and problematic. Based on Michael Foucault's concept of power, it can be seen that the position of Islam within the PDI Perjuangan Party forms a system of power relations. Methodologically, this study uses a qualitative approach and literature study methods. Literature studies are carried out by searching, collecting and studying written materials in the form of speech texts, Party Congress minutes, books, journals and also websites of authoritative institutions. The results of the study show that the relationship between PDI Perjuangan Party and Islam was built by integrating national and Islamic values in political programs that were in line with the party's ideology. The implementation of PDIP Party and Islam relations includes: First, consistently in the 2004, 2014 and 2019 presidential elections pairing nationalist-religious figures as Presidential Candidates and Vice-Presidential Candidates, namely Megawati Sukarnoputri-Hasyim Muzadi (2004), Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla (2014), and Joko Widodo-KH. Ma'ruf Amin (2019). Second, in the Pilkada pairing of nationalist-religious figures and the recorded number of NU cadres who became regional heads who came from PDIP Party was 109 regional heads, one of which was the pair Ganjar Pranowo (PDI Perjuangan Party) and Taj Yasin Maimoen (PPP) in the 2018 Pilkada. Third, collaboration PDI Perjuangan Party with religious institutions, such as NU and Muhammdiyah. Fourth, institutionally in the 2005-2010 Management it added the “Religion and Spirituality Sector” (now the “Religious Affairs and Belief in God Almighty” Sector) and the fundamental thing was establishing the Baitul Muslimin Indonesia (Bamusi) party wing on 29 March 2007. Full text link
The rapid pace of internet advancement necessitates heightened vigilance from internet users and the broader community to combat the pervasive adverse effects, including counterfeiting and data theft. This research aims to present a comprehensive analysis of the level of public awareness regarding data protection during the election process in Indonesia. It also explores different suggestions to enhance cyber security in the context of elections, based on previous literature analysis and current observations. Our finding shows the public has been aware regarding the security of their personal data, specifically the Population Identification Number (NIK), due to the revelation of reporting or complaints, as well as extensive verification of personal identities on political party member validation platforms. On the other hand, the issue of NIK data theft must be taken seriously by the government. As a result, this article suggests that policymakers increase public awareness by increasing digital literacy and strengthening data security regulations

Institutional Accessibility in Providing Development Data as a Primary Dimension of the Village Government's Public Accountability

This essay examines the extent to which the village government is institutionally accessible in conveying development data to its citizens. Dervin (1973) defines institutional accessibility as the ability and willingness of public institutions to provide individuals with essential information. The easily accessible nature of such governmental entities would result in greater accountability and transparency in government administration, development, and community responsibility, which are constitutional obligations of state institutions. The authors describe the Rabakodo Village administration's level of public accountability in managing development operations, as evidenced by institutional accessibility to creating general information disclosure. This is a descriptive-qualitative study that uses focus group discussions and in-depth interviews as the primary methods of data collection. Public accountability may not have been fully implemented up to this point due to the lack of serious consideration given to the attempts to develop responsible village governance in Rabakodo Village. The lack of sincerity can be seen in the absence of adequate communication media to publicize the village development program while meeting the community's needs for information on specific development operations. The village government's failure to optimize the availability of different communication platforms and provide full access to village development information posed a barrier to increasing participatory democracy, inclusiveness, and public accountability. Such a low level of institutional accessibility steadily diminishes the possibility of confronting detrimental practices, non-populist policies, and the corrupt orientation of village-level state actors

Effectiveness of Cheap Market Operation Policy in Bandung City

The government is very interested in maintaining price stability and the availability of food, especially rice, which is the staple food for almost all of Indonesia's population. One of the efforts made is to organize a cheap SPHP medium rice market operation with the hope that people, especially those with low purchasing power, can meet their needs. This study examines the effectiveness of cheap market operations organized by the Bandung City Government in situations of rice price spikes. The study was conducted using qualitative methods and took cases from three sub-districts. Data was collected through interview techniques, observation, and documentation, and then analysed using an interactive model. The results of the study show that cheap market operations are not an effective strategy to overcome the spike in rice commodity prices. After the implementation of the low-cost operation, the price of rice on the market continues to exceed the highest retail price (HET), and it is difficult for people to obtain rice at an affordable price. To overcome fluctuations in rice prices in the market, implementing market operations is considered more appropriate, and through this policy, the government intervenes in the market with rice from government food reserves managed by Perum BULOG. Apart from ensuring the availability of rice, market intervention can stabilize prices more quickly, have a longer impact, and cover a wider area
