    Tani The Kampung Susun Bayam Farmers Group is a community dealing with housing rights issues, forcing them to live without essential services, such as water and electricity. This research aims to document their daily lives amid the water and electricity crisis that followed the construction of the Jakarta International Stadium. The method employed is qualitative with The study adopts a practice-based research approach, aiming to acquire new knowledge through direct practice. Writer using ohoto story style  utilizing its nine elements to create a coherent narrative. Fifteen photo works were presented using the polyptychs technique, aligning photos in diptychs and triptychs. This research focuses specifically on the Kampung Susun Bayam residents facing the water and electricity crisis, but it can be expanded to explore their lives after relocation

    Indonesia has a very diverse variety of decorative batik motives. In general, the resulting batik motifs are a combination of shapes, colours and images based on the environment, culture, natural potential, and the influence of the local community where the batik is made. In addition, the batik makers not only create visually beautiful batik, but also provide beauty through the meaning that is in every batik motif they create. This research discusses one of the Indonesian batik motifs from Jambi, namely Tampuk Manggis which is a source of Indonesian cultural heritage that has the potential to be an inspiration for furniture designs in hotel. The purpose of this research is to explore design by applying the Tampuk Manggis– Jambi’s batik motive in furniture design and focus on preserving Indonesian culture and sustainable design that can be applied in hotel. This research uses the Goal Grid method as a sorter that carried out four guidelines; what must be achieved, what must be maintained, what must be avoided, and what must be eliminated.     Hinggi is a cultural heritage that come from East Sumba and is one of the woven textiles that can be easily recognized from its distinctive character and ornamentation. In general, hinggi is produced with a warp ikat weaving technique and woven using a backstrap loom. The making hinggi itself requires at least 7 main stages of production, with 42 complicated work steps, including sewing two narrow pieces of fabric to produce a wider sheet of fabric. Besides its major purpose as a jointing stitch, stitches or in the Kambera language referred to as uttu, can be found on a hinggi in a various characteristic and also possess an aesthetic function, However, the presence of uttu stitches often ignored and not noticed because of its tiny size. In fact, the presence of uttu stitches plays an important role in the wholeness of a hinggi fabric and becomes one of the most prominent aspect that highly required in the making of hinggi fabric

    Street Lighting is a public facility that is used to improve road safety by lighting the road at night and helping road users to see the road they are on more clearly at night.  The areas around Jalan Senopati, South Jakarta, are residential and commercial areas where people are busy carrying out their daily activities.  These three road areas are equipped with pedestrians and supporting facilities in the form of revitalized street lighting.  The objects of this research are street lighting located in the areas of Jalan Senopati, Jalan Suryo, Jalan Wolter Monginsidi, and Jalan Gunawarman, South Jakarta.  The focus of the research problem is the various forms and aesthetic elements of street lighting in the areas of Jalan Senopati, Jalan Suryo, Jalan Wolter Monginsidi, and Jalan Gunawarman, South Jakarta, and how aesthetics are applied to street lighting ornaments in these areas.  The research method used is descriptive qualitative, to identify and describe the application of aesthetics to street lighting ornaments in the areas of Jalan Senopati, Jalan Suryo, Jalan Wolter Monginsidi, and Jalan Gunawarman, South Jakarta.  The results of this research are that there is a diversity of aesthetic elements used in street lighting, namely in the form of the development of geometric shapes, local wisdom cultural ornaments, and forms of narrative depiction of urban activities in the area.  Application of ornamental aesthetics to areas and empty spaces that does not interfere with the functional purpose and benefits of the product as street lighting in the area

    The film Tarung Sarung is a cinematic work that highlights the richness of Bugis culture in Makassar, Indonesia. This film depicts the masculinity of Bugis men through characters and settings that highlight the attributes of courage, strength and honor. The main character in this film is depicted as an ordinary young man from the city who develops over the course of the story into a warrior skilled in martial arts. This research aims to analyze the symbols of masculinity in Bugis cultural ornaments in the film Tarung Sarung and find out the meaning of the symbols of masculinity represented. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with Charles Sanders Peirce\u27s semiotic analysis method. This research identifies and analyzes the meaning of symbols of masculinity represented in Bugis cultural ornaments in the film Tarung Sarung. The research results show that the symbols of masculinity in the film Tarung Sarung are closely related to the cultural and social values that are highly upheld by the Bugis community. These symbols emphasize the role of men in various aspects of life, from the family to the wider community. Strength, resilience, leadership, authority, wisdom, and discipline are central themes in this representation, showing that masculinity in Bugis culture is closely related to the ability to protect, defend, lead, and maintain cultural values. This research provides several suggestions for developing further studies by exploring the representation of symbols of masculinity in other cultures, combining various analytical methods for a more comprehensive understanding, and examining audience acceptance of representations of masculinity in films

    The export-based rattan industry plays an important role for the country\u27s foreign exchange, one of which is the export of rattan products has become the main source of income for the community in Trangsan Village, Sukoharjo Regency. However, small-scale rattan industry producers still have many limitations in developing product design in their companies. Most of the rattan industry in Trangsan Village still produces its products based on the demand of global market buyers, and the quality is determined by the buyer. This research focuses on the analysis of furniture design for the export market in Trangsan Village. The purpose of the research is to determine the impact of the post-Covid-19 Pandemic on the design development process for export rattan furniture products and how design plays a role in product innovation. This research uses the method of literature study and field observation with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the research show that rattan furniture manufacturers still have obstacles in developing designs. This research is expected to open opportunities for further research, contributing to the development of design innovation

    Pekalongan City, located in Central Java, is known as the World\u27s City of Batik because almost most of its people\u27s economy is grown by the batik industry. In its journey, the diversity of Pekalongan Batik motifs comes from the results of cultural acculturation, including Indian, Arabic, Dutch, Peranakan Chinese, and Japanese. This cultural acculturation process can occur because Pekalongan City is located on the North Coast of Java, which has become an inter-island trade traffic in the archipelago. Semiotics aims to interpret the meaning contained in a sign. The method used is the semiotic approach by Charles Sanders Pierce through the Triangle of Meaning Theory which explores how meaning arises from a sign when the sign is used to communicate. Based on the reason an academical administrator should communicate a Javanese learning in an actractive way for the student to studied. In that way, students would have a new experience in the way they study. The nature of digital comic as an entertainment media and convienent to access make it an acctractively learning media.     Learning media using technology is currently very influential in the world of education. With the development of technology, education is easy to obtain. Technology media in the form of 3D illustrations, makes it easier for children aged 4-6 years to understand the lessons. Octaland is an exploratory IP aimed primarily at children who want to get to know the types of work that exist with an interesting illustrative approach. The making illustrations of Nadia’s house is made using objects that are correlated with the medical world to make it easier for children to get to know Nadia as a nurse. The process of making this house illustration with the theme of a nurse is made using a simple and easy-to-recognize illustration.     Hardanger embroidery is embroidery done on plain weave fabrics. The results of the embroidery are in the form of geometric holes. The background of this research is that hardanger embroidery appears with aesthetics an poor quality. The aim of the research was to improvw the aesthetics and quality of hardanger embroidery including a.) to determine the effect of using 1 thread on the aesthetic value and quality of hardanger embroidery b.) to determinne th effek of use 2 thread on the aesthetic value and quality of hardanger embroidery c.) to determine the effek of use 3 thread on th aesthetic value and quality of hardanger embroidery. This research was experimental research. The statistical test result with SPSS obtained significant aesthetic value of hardanger embroidery was 0.97, 0.60 and 0.61 with p<0.05 so that H0 is accepted. There is no significant effect on the aesthetics of embroidery using a different number of threads. The significant value of embroidery quality is 0.000 with p>0.05 so H0 is rejected.
