    Based on literary studies and empirical experience, this article aims to highlight the scientific facts that Tajwid (science of recitation of Holy Qurʼan) met for change to be noted is subject to measure objectively, bursting capacity of self and non-precision and control, provided that this science that integrates the phonetics. Thus, the Tajwid be more popular if opened up to take advantage of explorations phonology and the science of medicine and anatomy, and other sciences.     The primary goal of language teaching is to enable students to understand the proper and clear language expression that he listens, or reads, or writes; in order to achieve a very lofty goal namely communication between human beings. It is recommended that we start teaching Arabic language to children since their early age. It is that a child spends hundreds and perhaps thousands of hours listening to his mother tongue, to recognize their voices, and to distinguish between them and finally to produce words and sentences.     The aim of this research is to design a Arabic theaching syllabus for students at PMIAI ICASParamadina Jakarta that focused on Islamic philosophy and mysticism. The syllabus is an integrated syllabus which combines topics and academic reading skill based on Arabic for Academic Purposes. The process of syllabus design began with need analysis both internally and externally under the qualitative and quantitativ method. Based on the research findings, it is known that students in PMIAI ICAS-Paramadina Jakarta need an Arabic matriculation for reading and understanding texts since their Arabic proficiency level has not been adequate yet to conduct reading and understanding Islamic philosopy and mysticism texts in Arabic. DOI: 10.15408/a.v1i1.113

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan stilistika ayat shalat di dalam al-Qurʼan ditinjau dari bentuk kata dan fungsinya dalam kalimat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis pada konstruksi kata dan susunan kalimatnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata “shalatˮ di dalam al-Qurʼan diungkapkan dalam beragam kata dan kalimat yang berbeda fungsi dan maknanya. Mayoritas kedudukan iʻrâb-nya adalah mafʻûl bih (objek), sedangkan gaya bahasanya meggunakan uslub amr (20 ayat), syarat (6 ayat), nida (2 ayat), mutsbat (29 ayat), manfi (4 ayat), istitsna, taukid, dan nahi. Keragaman gaya bahasa ini mengandung keindahan sastra, keserasian makna, kekayaan bahasa, dan pengaruh kuat yang memudahkan pemahaman maknanya. DOI: 10.15408/a.v1i1.113

    Penelitian ini berusaha mengidentifikasi beberapa tingkatan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar bahasa Arab menurut Rusydi Ahmad Thu‘aimah. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan analisis teks sehingga tidak perlu memapaparkan data angka dalam interpretasi hasilnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Rusydi Ahmad Thu‘aimah dalam karyanya, Ta‘lîm al-‘Arabiyyah li ghair al-Nâthiqîn bihâ, menjelaskan berbagai tingkatan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar bahasa Arab baik dari segi unsur kebahasaan maupun keterampilan berbahasa.     This article analyzes the phenomenon of Arabizi ( عربي - إنجليزي ), using Arabic in Latin letters and numbers that mixed with dialects and foreign languages . This phenomenon is widespread in social media and can be used as one way to learn Arabic language independently with internet or social media. This paper is not intended to support the phenomenon, but rather as an alternative study to use of learning media more creatively.     PENGARUH STRUKTUR BAHASA ARAB TERHADAP BAHASA INDONESIA DALAM TERJEMAHAN AL-QURʼAN

    The process of translation in fact gave birth to a sociolinguistic phenomenon like bilingualism when the structure of a language that translated influence on the translation. This paper examines the translation of the Koran, which follows the pattern of the structure of the Arabic language in terms of word order (sequence pattern) element of Arabic and Indonesian. Based on the analysis of the function, the result of translation is not necessarily a literal translation has the same syntactic pattern with the source text. Indonesian function often different in sentence patterns with sentence patterns of Arabic, although it is the literal translation of the Arabic sentence. It happened because of the workings of the Arabic grammarians differ from Indonesian linguist in analyzing its function. DOI: 10.15408/a.v1i1.112
