    Pendampingan Pengembangan Jurnal OJS pada Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Swasta di Kalimantan Timur

    Balikpapan Islamic College is a private Islamic Religious College (PTKI) in Balikpapan, a buffer zone for the IKN (Indonesian Capital City). As an Islamic educational institution, this campus plays a central role in the development of Islam in East Kalimantan through the Tridharma of Higher Education. However, its contribution to the development of publications and scientific works remains largely untouched, including the lack of journal publication facilities that facilitate the need for scientific publications for the community. One contributing factor is limited human resources, therefore assistance is needed in managing scientific publications through the development of the OJS journal. This activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, through stakeholder involvement from the planning stage to journal management. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively to assess the effectiveness of the program. The results of the community service show that mentoring activities can improve the understanding and skills of independent journal managers. The obstacle faced is limited technical support.Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Balikpapan merupakan salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI) swasta di kota Balikpapan yang merupakan salah satu kota penyangga kawasan IKN. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan islam kampus ini memiliki peran sentral dalam perkembangan keislaman di Kalimantan Timur melalui tridharma perguruan tinggi, namun faktanya kontribusi dalam pengembangan publikasi dan karya ilmiah masih belum tersentuh, termasuk ketiadaan sarana publikasi jurnal yang memfasilitasi kebutuhan publikasi ilmiah bagi masyarakat. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, oleh karena itu diperlukan pendampingan pengelolaan publikasi ilmiah melalui pengembangan jurnal OJS. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), melalui pelibatan stakeholder mulai tahap perencanaan hingga pengelolaan jurnal. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya dianalisis secara kualitatif untuk menilai efektivitas program. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengelola jurnal secara mandiri. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan dukungan sarana teknis.

    Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap berkendara aman melalui pelatihan servis berkala sepeda motor matic, serta edukasi safety riding. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 18 pemudi di Kelurahan Tunjungsekar, Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan One Group Pre-test & Post-test, meliputi observasi praktik dan pengisian kuesioner. Hasil menunjukkan 67% peserta berada pada kategori keterampilan “baik” dan 33% “cukup”, disertai peningkatan signifikan kesadaran keselamatan berkendara. Manfaat nyata yang dirasakan masyarakat meliputi: kemampuan melakukan perawatan sepeda motor secara mandiri, pemahaman prinsip berkendara aman, dan peningkatan disiplin berlalu lintas yang berpotensi menurunkan resiko kecelakaan. Pendekatan integratif antara pelatihan teknis dan edukasi keselamatan ini membuktikan efektivitasnya dalam memberdayakan masyarakat, khususnya pengendara perempuan, sehingga mendukung tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan di bidang keselamatan transportasi dan pendidikan vokasi.This community service activity aims to improve knowledge, skills, and attitudes about safe driving through regular automatic motorcycle service training and safety riding education. The target group was 18 young women in Tunjungsekar Village, Malang City. The method used was a pre-experimental design with One Group Pre-test & Post-test, including practical observations and questionnaires. The results showed that 67% of participants were in the “good” skill category and 33% were “sufficient,” accompanied by a significant increase in driving safety awareness. Real benefits felt by the community include: the ability to perform motorcycle maintenance independently, an understanding of safe driving principles, and increased traffic discipline that has the potential to reduce the risk of accidents. This integrative approach between technical training and safety education has proven its effectiveness in empowering the community, especially female riders, thus supporting sustainable development goals in the field of transportation safety and vocational education

    The rapid advancement of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has introduced significant challenges in the educational sector, particularly in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into teaching and learning processes. This community service program aimed to enhance the competencies of teachers at SD Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) in developing teaching modules based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with AI tools, aligning with the principles of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The program encompassed a needs assessment, coordination with school leadership, preparation of training materials, and the implementation of direct training sessions focusing on the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Magic School, and Jenni AI in designing PjBL modules. Evaluation through questionnaires indicated a significant improvement in teachers\u27 understanding and ability to integrate AI into their teaching modules. As a result, teachers successfully developed comprehensive PjBL-based teaching modules incorporating AI, which are expected to enhance the quality of education and foster 21st-century skills among students.Perkembangan pesat Revolusi Industri Keempat telah membawa tantangan signifikan dalam sektor pendidikan, khususnya dalam integrasi Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru di SD Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) dalam mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis Project-Based Learning (PjBL) yang terintegrasi dengan alat bantu AI, sesuai dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan meliputi survei kebutuhan, koordinasi dengan pimpinan sekolah, penyusunan materi pelatihan, serta pelaksanaan pelatihan langsung yang berfokus pada penggunaan alat AI seperti ChatGPT, Magic School, dan Jenni AI dalam merancang modul PjBL. Evaluasi melalui kuesioner menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan AI ke dalam modul ajar mereka.     Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan guru pesantren dalam memahami dan mengimplementasikan keterampilan computational thinking dalam pembelajaran. Di Pondok Pesantren Darul Fithrah, media pembelajaran inovatif berupa board game berbasis Unplugged Computational Thinking dirancang untuk menjembatani kebutuhan tersebut sekaligus memberikan alternatif metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi perancangan board game, penyusunan instrumen pelatihan, pelaksanaan pre-test, pemberian materi dan simulasi board game, serta post-test dan observasi implementasi di kelas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman guru mengenai computational thinking, terlihat dari kenaikan skor rata-rata pre-test dan post-test, khususnya pada aspek pengenalan pola, penyusunan langkah pemecahan masalah, dan pemahaman istilah computational thinking. Respon kuesioner dan feedback guru juga menunjukkan bahwa board game dipandang interaktif, mudah digunakan, serta potensial untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di pesantren. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PKM ini berhasil mendorong guru lebih siap mengintegrasikan keterampilan abad 21 ke dalam praktik pendidikanThis Community Service Program (PKM) was motivated by the limited ability of pesantren teachers to understand and implement computational thinking in their teaching practice. At Darul Fithrah Islamic Boarding School, an innovative board game based on Unplugged Computational Thinking was designed to address this need and provide a more interactive learning method. The implementation methods included board game design, preparation of training instruments, conducting pre-tests, delivering materials and board game simulations, as well as post-tests and classroom observation. The results indicated a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding of computational thinking, as reflected in the increase of average pre-test and post-test scores, particularly in pattern recognition, step-by-step problem-solving, and comprehension of the term computational thinking. Questionnaire responses and teacher feedback also showed positive perceptions, with the board game considered interactive, easy to use, and applicable in classroom learning. Thus, this PKM successfully encouraged teachers to be more prepared to integrate 21st-century skills into their educational practices

    Pemasaran digital bagi pelaku usaha perempuan selalu terkendala pengetahuan, usia dan terbatas waktu khususnya UMKM Keripik Kangkung Camilan Khas UP2K Bejo 40 Kelurahan Sumber Rejo Kotamadya Balikpapan. Pemberdayaan sumber daya perempuan ini diharapkan sebagai solusi atas kendala tersebut dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan pemasaran digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam pemberdayaan perempuan ini adalah beberapa tahapan yakni tahapan persiapan, tahapan pelaksanaan dan tahapan evaluasi. Hasil pemberdayaan sumber daya perempuan ini membantu pelaku umkm ini dalam mengoptimalkan platform e-commerce sebagai media promosi untuk memperkenalkan produk mereka secara luas. Namun perlunya pendampingan terus menerus agar selalu melakukan perubahan secara terus menerus.Digital marketing for female entrepreneurs is always hampered by knowledge, age, and limited time, especially for the Kangkung Chips MSME, a typical snack from UP2K Bejo 40, Sumber Rejo Village, Balikpapan City. Empowering women\u27s resources is expected to be a solution to these obstacles through digital marketing training and mentoring. The method used in this women\u27s empowerment is several stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of this women\u27s resource empowerment help these MSMEs in optimizing the e-commerce platform as a promotional medium to introduce their products widely.     Students need to be equipped with skills to compete globally through context-based learning. Context helps them connect math to the real world, so suitable context-based tasks can strengthen their understanding. However, the tasks designed by prospective teachers often lack of authenticity. In addition, textbooks are still lacking in presenting context-based tasks, while teachers tend to think of them as ordinary word problems. Therefore, teachers need to be given additional insights in designing context-based tasks collaboratively through community service activities for teachers.     Efektivitas Forum Group Discussion dan Video dalam Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Pencegahan Obesitas dan Gizi Seimbang di SMAN 2 Padalarang

    The 2017 Global Nutrition Report states that 2 billion adults and 41 million children worldwide are overweight or obese. Based on Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments using Z-scores, it was found that out of 168 students at SMAN 2 Padalarang, 21 students (12.5%) had abnormal BMI values. One proposed solution is nutrition education through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and learning videos to increase students\u27 knowledge about obesity prevention and balanced nutrition. This program aims to determine whether there is a significant difference between the pre- and post-intervention scores for each method. The implementation of this activity involved FGDs and learning videos, with 248 students from grades 10, 11, and 12 at SMAN 2 Padalarang participating. A total of 124 students received counseling through the FGD method, while the other 124 students participated through the learning video method. This program was conducted on August 21-22, 2024. The analysis showed that both intervention methods, video and FGD, had a significant impact (p-value 0.000 for both interventions) on the change in scores from pre-test to post-test. In conclusion, in this program, the FGD method showed a greater effect (1.12) than the learning video (0.99).Laporan Gizi Global 2017 menyatakan bahwa 2 miliar orang dewasa dan 41 juta anak di dunia mengalami kelebihan berat badan atau obesitas. Berdasarkan pemeriksaan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) menggunakan Z-score menunjukkan dari 168 siswa di SMAN 2 Padalarang, ditemukan sebanyak 21 siswa (12,5%) memiliki nilai IMT yang tidak normal. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diberikan adalah edukasi gizi melalui metode FGD (Focus Group Discussion) dan video pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang pencegahan obesitas dan gizi seimbang. Program ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada masing-masing metode. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini melibatkan FGD dan video pembelajaran, yang diikuti oleh 248 siswa dari kelas 10, 11, dan 12 di SMAN 2 Padalarang. Sebanyak 124 siswa mengikuti penyuluhan dengan metode FGD, sedangkan 124 siswa lainnya melalui metode video pembelajaran. Program ini dilaksanakan pada 21 - 22 Agustus 2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode intervensi, baik video maupun FGD, memberikan dampak signifikan (p-value 0,000 pada kedua intervensi) terhadap perubahan skor dari pre-test ke post-test. Simpulan dalam program ini, metode FGD menunjukkan efek lebih besar (1,12) dibandingkan video pembelajaran (0,99)

    Workshop Pengelolaan Kelas Berdiferensiasi dan Multikultural bagi Guru Sekolah Dasar di Kota Blitar

    The diversity of student characteristics requires teachers to be able to manage the class well so that all students do not feel neglected and feel valued for their uniqueness. This activity aims to provide an understanding of elementary school teachers in Blitar City in managing differentiated and multicultural classes, to accommodate student diversity. The method used is a workshop that includes presentation activities and case study analysis attended by 28 elementary school teachers in Blitar City. The evaluations carried out include: reactions, knowledge, impacts, and final results using a Likert scale. The results show that teachers have understood the concept of differentiated learning and multicultural education and showed a high level of satisfaction, although further efforts are needed to deepen the application of strategies in the classroom.Beragamnya karakteristik siswa menuntut guru untuk dapat mengelola kelas dengan baik agar semua siswa tidak merasa diabaikan dan merasa dihargai keunikannya masing-masing. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman guru sekolah dasar di Kota Blitar dalam mengelola kelas berdiferensiasi dan multikultural, untuk mengakomodir keberagaman siswa. Metode yang digunakan berupa workshop yang meliputi kegiatan presentasi dan analisis studi kasus yang diikuti oleh 28 guru sekolah dasar di Kota Blitar. Evaluasi yang dilakukan meliputi: reaksi, pengetahuan, dampak, dan hasil akhir menggunakan skala likert. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa guru telah memahami konsep pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan pendidikan multikultural serta menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi, meskipun diperlukan upaya lanjutan untuk memperdalam penerapan strategi di dalam kelas

    Glagaharum Village in Sidoarjo has untapped economic potential. Some residents earn below the minimum wage. Housewives have sewing skills but are less able to change product designs. Limited knowledge of fashion design and business is a major obstacle. The "Kampung Jahit Arumpreneur" program aims to empower housewives by improving sewing and design skills. The implementation method is in the form of mentoring to improve knowledge and skills for participants to increase fashion production capacity. Mentoring bridges the gap in potential, skills to produce high-quality Muslim clothing and improve the village economy. Mentoring is an initiative to support SDG 4 by providing quality education and expanding participants\u27 understanding of the fashion industry. The results of the mentoring activities for participants are in the form of increasing entrepreneurial knowledge and application skills (making patterns, prototypes and identifying material quality). The results of the second mentoring create participants with economic independence.Desa Glagaharum di Sidoarjo memiliki potensi ekonomi yang belum dimanfaatkan. Sebagian penduduk berpenghasilan di bawah upah minimum. Ibu rumah tangga memiliki keterampilan menjahit tetapi kurang mampu mengubah desain produk. Pengetahuan desain busana dan bisnis yang terbatas menjadi hambatan utama. Program "Kampung Jahit Arumpreneur" bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga dengan meningkatkan keterampilan menjahit dan desain. Metode pelaksanaan berupa pendampingan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada peserta untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi fashion. Pendampingan menjembatani kesenjangan potensi, keterampilan untuk memproduksi pakaian muslim berkualitas tinggi dan meningkatkan perekonomian desa. Pendampingan menjadi inisiatif mendukung SDG 4 dengan menyediakan pendidikan bermutu dan memperluas pemahaman peserta tentang industri fashion. Hasil dari kegiatan pendampingan para peserta berupa peningkatan pengetahuan entrepreneurship dan keterampilan aplikatif (membuat pola, prototype dan identifikasi kualitas bahan).     Literasi Pengelolaan Keuangan Pribadi bagi Masyarakat Desa Jati Endah

    The problem encountered in the Jati Endah Village community is the low level of financial management literacy which is indicated by the lack of public understanding regarding personal financial management. This community service activity aims to improve public understanding regarding personal financial management so that people are able to manage their finances optimally. The method of activity carried out is community service in the form of coaching including material presentation accompanied by financial management practices. The results of the community service show an increase in public understanding regarding how to manage personal finances and finances in the business being run. The community also understands the concepts and accounting equations in financial reports which are useful in future financial planning. This activity received a positive response and high enthusiasm from the participants so that it was considered to provide a positive contribution to the community. With the coaching activities carried out, it is hoped that the community can effectively manage their personal finances, be able to plan business development and achieve economic independence in a sustainable manner.Permasalahan yang ditemui pada masyarakat Desa Jati Endah yaitu rendahnya tingkat literasi pengelolaan keuangan yang ditunjukkan melalui kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan keuangan pribadi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terkait pengelolaan keuangan pribadi sehingga masyarakat mampu mengatur keuangannya secara maksimal. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk pembinaan meliputi pemaparan materi disertai praktik pengelolaan keuangan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai cara mengelola keuangan pribadi dan keuangan dalam bisnis yang dijalankan. Masyarakat juga memahami konsep dan persamaan akuntansi dalam laporan keuangan yang berguna dalam perencanaan keuangan di masa mendatang. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan respon positif dan antusiasme tinggi dari peserta sehingga dinilai memberikan kontribusi positif bagi masyarakat. Dengan kegiatan pembinaan yang dilakukan diharapkan masyarakat dapat secara efektif mengelola keuangan pribadinya, mampu merencanakan pengembangan usaha dan mencapai kemandirian ekonomi secara berkelanjutan
