Community health canteen partnership program partners with SMPN 1 and 2 Porong Sidoarjo has a goal of empowering healthy canteen. Given the importance of canteen role, then canteen management should get more attention from school managers and local government. Both partners are selected because they have problems that must be addressed for the improvement of canteen management according to the standard. The problems faced by partners such as there are still many types of foods sold contain dyes, flavorings, preservatives, and thickener. Some foods are packed without immaculate and hygienic covers/wrappers, even though it has been displayed at storefront for storing food. Hot food containers with plastic cups and large food wrappers are mostly still using plastics that are not environmentally friendly. Solutions are provided by conducting training in order to increase the school\u27s citizens understanding of healthy food choices. School canteen development is in accordance with MOH RI standards, thus the goals of healthy canteen program by the government can be achieved, that is to reduce snack poisoning, to reduce the usage of non-qualified food additives, to reduce the packaging of food and beverages from plastic materials. Implementation. After that, it provides assistance to the partners of PKM so that results can be implemented properly. The results of community service show that there is a positive influence on the partner environment which is shown by the change of sellers’ behavior to provide healthy and nutritious food and also not using the food containers that are made from hazardous materials for health. In managing healthy school canteen, it is developed to become healthy canteen according to government standard.Program kemitraan masyarakat kantin sehat sekolah dengan mitra SMPN 1 dan 2 Porong Sidoarjo mempunyai tujuan pemberdayaan kantin sehat. Mengingat peranan kantin yang penting, maka manajemen kantin hendaknya mendapat perhatian dari pengelola sekolah dan pemerintah setempat. Kedua mitra tersebut dipilih, karena mempunyai permasalahan yang harus segera di atasi untuk perbaikan managemen kantin sesuai standar.Permasalahan yang di hadapi mitra adaah masihbanyak jenis makanan yang dijual mengandung pewarna, penyedap, dan pengawet dan pengental dan beberapa jenis makanan yang diletakkan begitu saja di atas meja tanpa penutup yang aman dan higienis walaupun sudah di sediakan etalase untuk menyimpan makanan. Wadah makanan panas dengan gelas plastic dan pembungkusmakanan sebagian besar masih menggunakan plastik yang tidak ramah lingkungan. Solusi yang di berikan dengan memberikan pelatihan dalam rangka meningkatkan pemahaman warga sekolah mengenai pemilihan pangan yang aman dan sehat. Pengembangan kantin sekolah sesuai dengan standar Depkes RI, sehingga tujuan program kantin sehat oleh pemerintah dapat dicapaiy aitu mengurangi keracunan jajanan, mengurangi penggunaan bahan tambahan makanan yang tidak memenuhi syarat, mengurangi pembungkus makanan dan minuman dari bahan plastik. Pelaksanaan. Setelah itu dilakukan pendampingan ke mitra agar hasil PKM dapat terimplementasikan dengan baik. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif pada lingkungan mitra yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya perubahan perilaku penjual untuk menyediakan makanan sehat dan bergizi seta tidak menggunakan tempat makan dari bahan berbahaya bagi kesehatan. Dalam pengelolaan kantin sehat sekolah di kembangkan menjadi kantin yang sesuai standar pemerintah.
 
Revitalizing Oral Literature Through Media Training and Time Storytelling for Parents and PAUD / Aisyiah Kindergarten Teachers in South Jakarta

Oral literature is rarely found in people\u27s lives, especially in terms of storytelling. In fact, in fairy tales, there are values of character education that can be instilled in children or students. For this reason, in an effort to revitalize the storytelling tradition, the team conducted media training and time to tell stories to parents and PAUD / TK Aisyiah teachers in Jakarta Selatan. To improve skills and awareness in storytelling, the team used training methods. In this method, the team gave lectures, discussions, and practices so that the participants were able to understand and apply the material that had been given. This activity was carried out at PAUD Aisyiah Petukangan Utara and TK Aisyiah 29 Jakarta Selatan. The material provided was the use of media in storytelling in the form of book and non-book media and storytelling time. The results of this training activity were that parents and teachers were able to practice storytelling with book and non-book media and understand the timing of storytelling well.Sastra lisan sudah jarang ditemui dalam kehidupan masyarakat, terutama dalam hal mendongeng. Padahal, di dalam dongeng, terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang dapat ditanamkan pada anak atau siswa. Untuk itu, dalam upaya merevitalisasi tradisi mendongeng, tim melakukan pelatihan media dan waktu mendongeng bagi orang tua dan guru PAUD/ TK Aisyiah di Jakarta Selatan. Untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kesadaran dalam mendongeng, tim menggunakan metode pelatihan. Dalam metode ini, tim memberikan ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik sehingga para peserta mampu memahami dan menerapkan materi yang telah diberikan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di PAUD Aisyiah Petukangan Utara dan TK Aisyiah 29 Jakarta Selatan. The decree is to develop students\u27 communicative English skills which are included listening, reading, writing and speaking skills. In the university level, students are expected to have grammatical knowledge of English and they can apply it in communication and interaction in life. English for Specific Purposes (ESP) or English for special purposes is a new approach in teaching and it is used in English for specific fields and studies which are in accordance with the needs of the field of science and the profession of English language users. The objectives will be achieved from this program are: Providing an introduction to mastery skills about English for Specific Purposes for Vocational School Teachers, it is used to improve teaching English and Deepen knowledge of English for Specific Purposes. Besides, to support English teaching and how to solve the problems if applying English for Specific Purposes in English teaching. The implementation of service requires 3 months consisting of: (1). Preparation includes surveys and place permit, (2). Socialization and audience, (3). The implementation of training and workshop activities for 4 meetings and evaluation in accordance with the material and practice of the teachers in one of the Vocational Schools in Kediri city, (4). During lectures, they only know the theory and practice of statistics without practicing in depth. Therefore this dedication is carried out to assist a group of students in determining the method that suits their thesis. The formulation of the problem is due to the lack of understanding for students in choosing analytical tools to conduct their research. As well as adding insight in doing descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression. The purpose of this training is to add insight in analyzing using the SPSS software. The target in this service is the final year students who are taking thesis which is held in June 2019. This training will later use the SPSS software as an analytical material in conducting thesis. From the results of monitoring during the assistance in this service, the majority of participants with a percentage of 84% who can complete 5 cases with a perfect score of 100, another 16% get a score of 70. The method applied in this PKM activity was published in several stages, namely: discussing and enforcing debates on language discipline, socialization programs to modern cottage leaders, seminars on Punishment VS Logic Consequences, followed by workshops on language safety agreements with logical consequences, Preparing relevant punishment for students who commit an offense. The new village of Bube is one of the villages in Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. The village of Bube Baru is located about 12 km from the capital city of the Province whose average population works as farmers and breeders. Housewives in Bube Baru Village generally do not work, they only act as housewives. This causes them to have quite a lot of free time after doing routine tasks as housewives. Based on the above, it is necessary to have an activity or training program that can improve knowledge and also the standard of living of the people of Bube Baru village through the empowerment of housewives in Bube Baru Village. The people of Bube Baru village generally have yard that has not been used optimally. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) which will be conducted in Bube Baru Village, Suwawa District, Bone Bolango District, aims to empower housewives in utilizing home yards through planting of family and vegetable medicinal plants (TOGAS). This PKM activity also aims to improve health, fulfill nutrition and living standards of the people in Bube Baru Village, Suwawa District. The method implemented in the PKM Program is counseling, training and experimentation through the making of a demonstration of the use of home yards for TOGAS. Partners are groups of housewives who have been formed consisting of two groups and have agreed to participate in all activities programmed into the PKM to be implemented. PKM activities will be carried out for eight months, since March to October 2018. Outcomes of PKM activities in the form of increased knowledge and skills of housewives through the use of home yards as a place for family and vegetable medicinal plants (TOGAS) that can improve the health and living standards of the people in the village Bube Baru District of Suwawa.Desa Bube baru merupakan salah satu desa yang terdapat di Kecamatan Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo. Desa Bube Baru terletak sekitar 12 km dari ibu kota Propinsi yang rata-rata penduduknya bekerja sebagai petani dan peternak. Ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Desa Bube Baru pada umumnya tidak bekerja, mereka hanya beraktifitas sebagai ibu rumah tangga. Hal ini menyebabkan mereka memiliki waktu luang yang cukup banyak setelah melakukan tugas rutin sebagai ibu rumah tangga. Berdasarkan hal tersebut di atas, maka diperlukan suatu kegiatan atau program pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan juga taraf hidup masyarakat Desa Bube Baru melalui pemberdayaan ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Desa Bube Baru. Masyarakat desa Bube Baru pada umumnya memiliki lahan pekarangan yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang akan dilakukan di Desa Bube Baru Kecamatan Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango, bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah melalui penanaman tanaman obat keluarga dan sayur (TOGAS). Kegitan PKM ini bertujuan juga untuk meningkatkan kesehatan, memenuhi gizi dan taraf hidup masyarakat di Desa Bube Baru Kecamatan Suwawa. Metode yang dilaksanakan pada Program PKM yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan dan eksperimen melalui pembuatan percontohan pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah untuk TOGAS. Mitra adalah kelompok ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang telah dibentuk yang terdiri dari dua kelompok dan telah setuju mengikuti seluruh kegiatan yang diprogramkan pada PKM yang akan dilaksanakan. This partnership or community service activity aims to provide assistance to leaders, as planners and organizational policy makers, as well as to daily implementers in Baznas Madiun City as executors of operational activities, so that later it is expected that the management is able to conduct internal supervision and daily implementers able to prepare financial reports accordingly PSAK 109 concerning Accounting for Zakat and Infaq / Alms. The steps or methods of activities carried out in this mentoring are: first, conducting class/face-to-face activities by providing accounting material in accordance with PSAK 109. Second, reviewing the financial statements that have been made so far. Third, carry out follow-up by working on financial statements based on PSAK 109. Fourth, provide assistance in preparing financial statements.Kegiatan kemitraan atau pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada pimpinan, sebagai perencana dan pengambil kebijakan organisasi, serta kepada pelaksana harian di Baznas Kota Madiun sebagai pelaksana kegiatan operasional, sehingga nantinya diharapkan pengurus mampu melakukan pengawasan internal dan pelaksana harian mampu menyusun laporan keuangan sesuai PSAK 109 tentang Akuntansi Zakat dan Infak/Sedekah. Pemberdayaan Pemuda Karang Taruna Melalui Pemanfaatan Keterampilan Massage Kebugaran Berbasis Aplikasi Android
Get PDFOften people experience fatigue as a result of daily activities, but none of them took the initiative to restore their fitness through fitness message. The youth of Karang Taruna in Ngulankulon Village and Ngulanwetan Village, Pogalan District, Trenggalek Regency has strong potential to develop skills in the field of fitness message. The young people who are members of Karang Taruna members are dominated by people who are not economically productive. Most young people experience dependence on smartphones. Young people have not been able to use smartphones for positive activities. Therefore, empowerment is needed for youths of Ngulankulon Village and Ngulanwetan Village to develop communities that can be independent in the health sector, so that they can make a real contribution to the development of integrated fitness massage skills by applying science and technology towards positive things in community life. Empowerment is implemented in the form of Android-based fitness massage training. The method applied is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). This method succeeded in increasing knowledge and fitness massage skills for trainees. The results of the pretest showed the participants\u27 level of understanding was 66%, while after taking part in the training and mentoring, posttest was conducted with the result of an understanding level of 89%. The data shows an increase in fitness massage skills for youth youth.Seringkali masyarakat mengalami kelelahan sebagai akibat aktivitas sehari-hari, namun tidak ada satupun dari mereka yang berinisiatif untuk mengembalikan kebugarannya melalui massage (pijat) kebugaran. Pemuda-pemudi Karang Taruna Desa Ngulankulon dan Desa Ngulanwetan Kecamatan Pogalan Kabupaten Trenggalek memiliki potensi yang kuat untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dalam bidang massage kebugaran. Pemuda-pemudi yang tergabung dalam anggota karang taruna di dominasi oleh masyarakat yang tidak produktif secara ekonomi. Sebagian besar pemuda-pemudi mengalami ketergantungan terhadap smartphone. Para pemuda-pemudi belum mampu menggunakan smartphone untuk kegiatan yang positif. Maka dari itu, diperlukan pemberdayaan bagi pemuda-pemudi karang taruna Desa Ngulankulon dan Desa Ngulanwetan untuk mengembangkan masyarakat yang dapat mandiri dibidang kesehatan, agar dapat memberikan kontribusi riil terhadap perkembangan keterampilan massage kebugaran yang terintegrasi dengan mengaplikasikan IPTEK kearah hal yang positif dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Pemberdayaan yang diterapkan berupa pelatihan massage kebugaran berbasis android. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). Metode ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan massage kebugaran bagi peserta pelatihan. Hasil pretest menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman peserta sebesar 66%, sedangkan setelah mengikuti pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan posttest dengan hasil tingkat pemahaman sebesar 89%. Get PDFThis program was held aimed at improving the competency of technical drawing of vocational students in the Municipality of Kediri. Competence in this service consists of three aspects, namely affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. This program is carried out with a model of meeting in the classroom, giving theory, practicum, performance of making parts with image models and real object models. The improvement of students\u27 abilities was measured using observation sheets of student activities to determine the improvement of the affective aspects of students, the pretest and posttest instruments to determine the increase in cognitive aspects of students, the worksheets of students to determine the improvement of psychomotor aspects. The first output of this program is to increase the ability of vocational students in the field of mechanical engineering with the help of computers using CAD-based software. The next output is a competency certificate that will be given to students in accordance with their competencies.Pengabdian ini diadakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi menggambar teknik siswa SMK se Kotamadya Kediri. Kompetensi dalam pengabdian ini terdiri dari tiga aspek yaitu afektif, kognitif, psikomotorik. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan model pertemuan di dalam kelas, pemberian teori, pelaksanaan praktikum, unjuk kerja pembuatan part dengan model gambar dan model objek nyata. Peningkatan kemampuan siswa diukur menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa untuk mengetahui peningkatan aspek afektif siswa, instrumen pretest dan posttest untuk mengetahui peningkatan aspek kognitif siswa, lembar kerja siswa untuk mengetahui peningkatanaspek psikomotorik. Luaran pertama dari program ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan siswa SMK dalam bidang gambar teknik mesin dengan bantuan komputer menggunakan software berbasis CAD.
