    Abstract: The Characteristic of Stream Aerodynamics through Airfoil Joukowski/ Flat Plate on Endwall Area. This research analyzed the characteristic of stream aerodynamics through airfoil joukowski/flat plate. It focuses on endwall area due to its complexity of three-dimensional flow and the numerical method as its characteristic. The numerical method is used to solve the experiment peripherals obstacles that have to cover some detailed aspects. The result shows that in zero-degree angle of attack, the saddle point has been formed near the leading edge. The streamline profile seems symmetric in endwall area and shows near-nil lift values. In 10-degree angle of attack, the saddle point has been formed downward and away from leading edge. It reveals that the adverse pressure gradient raises as angle of attack increased, and forces wider low-pressure area to strengthen flow from span to endwall area

    Abstract: The Impact of Sika Grout Addition on Grouting Mortar Toward Concrete Reinforcement Stickness with Copper Slag as Cementitious. The aim of this research is to identify the impact of Sika Grout addition on grouting mortar toward concrete reinforcement stickness with copper slag as cementitious. The experiment result of this research shows that (1) the addition of Sika Grout 215 in grouting mortar can improve the reinforcement stickness; (2) the use of 100% Sika Grout 215 in grouting mortar produces maximum stickness; (3) the stickness of 100% Sika Grout 215 has 12.800 kg stronger (2,8% of improvement) than those of using copper slag reinforcement (without grouting) as 12.450 kg; (4) the use of less than 100% Sika Grout produces less stickness of no-grouting reinforcement; and (5) there is similar slip characteristic between  concrete reinforcement added with grouting and without grouting as 2,5 mm on outer part of the mortar

    STUDI TENTANG PEMROSESAN TEPUNG SORGUM TERFOSFORILASI DAN APLIKASINYA PADA BERBAGAI ADONAN PASTRI

    Sorghum is a potential alternative food source to be developed. The objective of the research is. (1) to know the effects of the treatment of STTP concen­tra­tion and duration of phosphorylation process to functional properties of sorghum flour; and (2) to know the comparison on both the physical and organoleptic quality of pastry product using basic material of phosphorylated sorghum and wheat flour. The research uses factorial randomized block design with 2 factors. T-Test is used to know both comparison on physical and organoleptic quality of pastry product by using basic material of phosphorylated sorghum and wheat flour. The result of T-test to the physical quality parameters of cake and pancake (cutting power, texture and color lightness) was significantly different for the alpha 0,05. On the other hand, organoleptic quality parameters (appearance, taste, flavor, smoothness, softness and color) were not significantly different. In addition, for cookies physical quality para­meters (broken power, texture, and color) were significantly different. On the contrary, for organoleptic quality parameters, they were not significantly different.Sorgum merupakan sumber makanan alternatif sangat potensial untuk di­kembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan konsentrasi STTP dan lamanya proses fosforilasi pada sifat fungsional pada tepung sorgum; dan (2) me­ngetahui perbandingan kedua kualitas organopleptik dan fisik produk pastri dengan menggunakan bahan dasar tepung terigu sorgum terfosforilasi. Penelitian meng­gunakan rancangan blok acak faktorial dengan 2 faktor. T-test digunakan untuk mengetahui kedua perbandingan pada sifat fisik dan organoleptik produk pastri dengan menggunakan sifat dasar tepung terigu dan sorgum terfosforilasi. Hasil dari T-test pada parameter kualitas fisik cake dan kue dadar berbeda secara nyata pada alpa 0,05. Parameter kualitas organoleptik tidak berbeda nyata.     Collaborative learning is a learning approach which new for most people. Therefore, it is important to introduce this approach carefuly, to create suportive climate for learners to actively involved and effectively working together with friends. A collaborative class have four main characteristics, the first two change roles and relationships between teacher and learner. The third characteristic is that there was a new learning approach used by the theacher. The fourth characteristic leads to heterogenous collaborative class composition. There are many advantages gained from collaborative learning, wether it academic result or social relationship, as resource to face the real life in the future which not only require academic ability but also ability to collaborate with other people.Pembelajaran kolaboratif merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang baru bagi kebanyakan orang. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memperkenal­kan pendekatan ini secara benar, untuk menciptakan iklim bagi siswa yang secara aktif dan efektif bekerja sama. Sebuah kelas kolaboratif memiliki empat karakteristik utama, dua yang pertama berperan sebagai perubahan dan hubungan antara guru dan pelajar. Karakteristik ketiga adalah bahwa ada suatu pendekatan pembelajaran baru yang digunakan oleh guru.     Abstract: This research sets out to acquire the overall description of noise caused by the engine stand, which is made of pipe and bamboo, and the rate of its reduction. The object for this research is two premium engines located in the State University of Malang. The selected engine stand is mounted by an outtake made of pipe and bamboo before it is ignited. The analysis method used is descriptive approach complemented by Anova technique. The result shows that the noise range of engine stand are: 72 dBA to 78 dBA in rotation of 800 rpm, 78 dBA to 79 dBA in rotation of 1500 rpm, and 88 dBA to 89 dBA in rotation of 2500 rpm before the pipe outtake is mounted; meanwhile, after the pipe outtake is mounted the result shows the range of 69 dBA to 71 dBA at 800 rpm, 75 dBA to 76 dBA at 1500 rpm, and 85 dBA to 87 dBA at 2500 rpm. For the bamboo outtake, the result shows the range of 68 dBA to 69 dBA at 800 rpm, 72 dBA to 75 dBA at 1500 rpm, and 86 dBA to 88 dBA at 2500 rpm. This overall result shows significant difference with P = 0,000 for each rotation (rpm); the usage of pipe and bamboo outtake can reduce the noise

    Abstract: Recently, a number of skillful robots have been developed. One of them can walk and move upstairs just like human beings. However it can so far only demonstrate preprogrammed motions according to the external commands. Therefore an autonomous adaptation ability has been highly anticipated. Meanwhile, humans can learn new motions such as catching or kicking a ball, in spite of their high dimensional sensorimotor degree of freedom. In this learning process, it can be hypothesized that the learner actively constrains the DOF by their self using learning skills, in this paper referred to as schema. In this study, a learning method for smart mobile robots operating in unknown environments is proposed, where not only a learning mechanism for sensorimotor mappings but also an extraction or reuse mechanism of the schemata is implemented. Through the results of simulations and real experiments of smart mobile robot navigation, the validity of the proposed method is clarified

    Abstract: The Use of Fixation Agent on Faded-Colour Resistancy in Cotton Dipping Process by Using Colour Extract from the Waste of Kayu Jati. The waste of kayu jati saw dust can be used to colour the cotton fabric. The fixation agent as colour generator can be used in fabric dipping process. The extract of lotus tree (air tunjung) as fixation agent has its impact on faded-colour resistancy. A fine resistance can be produced by various content of lous tree extract (air tunjung). This research uses air tunjung as fixator in various concentration and it is tested by rubbing and washing to obtain the best colour resistancy. The result shows that (1) the waste of kayu jati can be used as colouring agent for cotton fabric; (2) 30 gr/ltr concentration of air tunjung as fixation agent and colour generator has produced a fine colour resistancy

    The malnutrition and malnutrition remains a public health problem in Indonesia. Good nutrition is often not met by the child, in particular due to the family economic factors as well as educational factors, and the number of families. This analysis is to identify the factors related to the nutrition of children in rural areas. The analysis is based on the cross-sectional survey design. Factors which had become independent variables in the analysis  were the age of the child, the parent-child sex, age, level of the parent education, parent occupation, family size, and duration of breast feeding, while the dependent variable was the nutrition status based on the anthropometric. Data analysis was performed descriptive through chi square test and multivariate. The results of logistic regression test showed that the most dominant factor associated with nutritional status is the father and mother occupations.Gizi kurang dan gizi buruk masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masya­rakat di Indonesia. Asupan gizi  yang baik sering tidak bisa dipenuhi oleh seorang anak, diantaranya karena faktor ekonomi keluarga, pendidikan, dan jumlah keluarga. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan status gizi balita di Pedesaan. Analisis didasari pada data survey yang dilakukan  dengan rancangan cross sectional. Faktor yang menjadi variabel independen terdiri dari umur anak, jenis kelamin anak, usia orang tua, tingkat pendidikan orang tua, pekerjaan orang tua, jumlah anggota  keluarga, dan lama menyusui, sedangkan  faktor dependen adalah status gizi  berdasarkan antropometri. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif melalui uji chi square dan multivariat. Hasil uji regresi logistik  menunjuk­kan bahwa faktor yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan status gizi adalah jenis pekerjaan ayah dan jenis pekerjaan ibu

    PENGARUH JENIS SEMEN DAN JENIS AGREGAT KASAR TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN BETON

    The effect of cement and coarse aggregate type on compressive strength of concrete is investigated by using the cube specimens 150 ´ 150 ´ 150 mm. Specimen made with the comparison of weight to obtain a mixture cement as follows: fine aggregate compared to coarse aggregate in ratio of 1.0: 1.4: 2.1 with water cement factor of 0.42. The type of cement used in this research are portland cement type I, portland pozzolan cement, and portland cement composite. The coarse aggregate consist of pebbles and crushed stone with a maximum diameter of 20 mm. Com­pressive strength examinations was conducted at 3, 7, 28 and 90 of the days. The research results showed that the development speed of compressive strength is mostly influenced by chemical properties, physical properties, and the type of additive anorganic materials. The effect of coarse aggregate on concrete strength is apparent until the hydration at 28 of days and after this period the effect went to weaken.Pengaruh jenis semen dan jenis agregat kasar terhadap kuat tekan beton diteliti dengan menggunakan benda uji kubus 150 ´ 150 ´ 150 mm. Benda uji dibuat dengan perbandingan berat campuran semen : agregat halus : agregat kasar 1,0 : 1,4 : 2,1 dengan faktor air semen sebesar 0,42. Semen yang digunakan adalah semen portland tipe I, semen portland pozzolan, dan semen portland komposit. Agregat kasar berupa kerikil dan batu pecah dengan diameter maksimum 20 mm. Ujian kuat tekan dilaksanakan pada umur 3, 7, 28, dan 90 hari. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan perkembangan kuat tekan yang dihasilkan banyak di­pengaruhi oleh properti kimia, fisik, dan serta jenis bahan anorganik yang ditambahkan. Pengaruh jenis agregat kasar terhadap kekuatan beton tampak jelas hingga mencapai umur hidrasi 28 hari, setelah periode tersebut pengaruhnya cenderung melemah
