    PERBAIKAN KEKUATAN DAN DAKTILITAS KOLOM BETON BERTULANG YANG MENDAPAT BEBAN GEMPA MENGGUNAKAN GLASS FIBER REINFORCED POLYMER

    Repairing the Strength and Ductility of Reinforced Concrete Column That Got Earthquake using Gla­ss Fiber Reinforced Polymer. This study aims to identify the additional strength and ductility of reinforced concrete columns af­ter being re­­­­tro­fitted using glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) and got the brunt of the earth­quake. This study uses two objects tested columns, which are being tested for three times. Each column size is 350 x 350 x 1100 mm with f'c = 20.34 MPa and fy = 549.94 MPa. The tes­t­ing is performed by giving a constant axial load of 748 kN and cyclic lateral load using con­trol displacement method in order to simulate the brunt of earth­quake. The results show an in­crea­se in lateral capacity of co­lumn by 43.96%. Re­tro­­fitting the column with GFRP has a duc­tile property, which is shown by the increase of the displacement ductility by 129.14% and curvature ductility by 118.27%. Penelitian ini ber­tujuan untuk mengetahui penambahan kekuatan dan dak­ti­li­­­­tas kolom beton bertulang se­telah diretrofit menggunakan glass fiber reinforced po­ly­­­mer (GFRP) dan mendapat be­ban gempa. Penelitian ini menggunakan benda ­uji dua buah kolom dengan tiga kali pengujian. Masing-masing ukuran kolom 350 x 350 x 1100 mm dengan f’c = 20,34 MPa dan fy = 549,94 MPa. Pengujian dilakukan de­ngan memberikan beban ak­sial konstan 748 kN dan beban lateral siklik yang meng­gu­nakan metode di­splacemet con­trol untuk mensimulasikan beban gempa. Hasil pe­ne­­­litian menunjukkan pe­ningkatan kapasitas lateral pada kolom sebesar 43,96%. Retrofit kolom dengan GFRP bersifat dak­tail yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya daktilitas per­pindahan sebesar 129,14% dan dak­­­tilitas kurvatur se­besar 118,27%

    Teachers’ Commitment to Manage Learning in the Automotive Department in SMK. The purpose of this study is to reveal teacher commitment to manage learning in the automotive department, which includes comprehension of the students’ charac­teris­tics, learning management, and mentoring students in the automotive de­par­t­ment in SMK. The population is all teachers who teach theory and practice in the auto­motive department in private and public SMK in Malang. The research method is a quantitative descriptive and the sampling technique is the purposive sampling tech­nique. Total number of samples is eight teachers from private SMK and eight tea­cher­s from public SMK. Data is obtained through questionnaires, observations, in­ter­views, and documentation. Data is analyzed using percentage techniques. The re­sults show that the teachers’ commitment to comprehend the students’ characteristics, learning management, and the task of mentoring students is categorized as very high. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengungkap komitmen guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran yang meliputi pemahaman terhadap karakterisktik siswa, pengelolaan pembelajaran, dan pembimbingan siswa Jurusan Teknik Otomotif di SMK. Populasi adalah seluruh guru teori dan praktik yang mengajar pada Jurusan Otomotif SMK negeri dan SMK swasta di Kota Malang. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kuan­titatif, dengan teknik sampling purposif. Teknik sampel menggunakan purposive sampel. Jumlah sampel adalah 8 orang guru SMK swasta dan 8 orang guru SMK negeri. Data diperoleh melalui angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen guru tentang pemahaman karakteristik siswa, pengelolaan pembelajaran, dan tugas pembimbingan siswa dalam kategori sangat tinggi

    SIFAT ORGANOLEPTIK SUBTITUSI TEPUNG KIMPUL DALAM PEMBUATAN CAKE

    Organoleptic properties of kimpul flour substitution in the cake making. Kimpul is a one of tuber food source, which contains carbohidrate, protein, fat, some mineral and vitamins. The aims of this research is to find out the sensory properties (hedonic quality and hedonic) of the kimpul cake flour substitution. This experimental research uses a completely-randomized design using an analysis of variance. The results analysis of the hedonic quality of color, texture and flavor obtain the highest mean rates at the amount of 40% substitution of kimpul flour, and the results  were not significantly different between treatments. The hedonic test of color, flavor, and texture obtain the highest mean rates at the amount of 80% substitution of kimpul flour. Kimpul merupakan sumber pangan umbi-umbian yang mengandung karbo­hidrat, protein, lemak, beberapa mineral dan vitamin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  mengetahui sifat sensori (mutu hedonik dan hedonik) cake subtitusi tepung kimpul. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap  mengguna­kan analisis sidik ragam (Analysis of Variance). Hasil analisis uji mutu hedonik warna, tekstur dan rasa memperoleh rerata tertinggi pada jumlah substitusi tepung kimpul 40% yang tidak berbeda antar perlakuan. Uji hedonik (uji tingkat kesukaan) warna, rasa, dan tekstur  memperoleh rerata tertinggi pada jumlah subtitusi tepung kimpul 80%

    RETROVIT KOLOM PENDEK BETON BERTULANG PERSEGI DENGAN PERKUATAN EKSTERNAL CARBON FIBER-REINFORCED POLYMER DI BAWAH PENGARUH PEMBEBANAN SIKLIK

    The retrofit of non-slender square concrete column with an external strength­ener of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) under the influence of cyclic load. The purpose of this study is to know the increase of strength and ductility of a column structure element that has an initial damage, then it is fixed and strengthened by CFRP external strengthening. The column structure element is tested by giving a constant axial load and varying the cyclic load using a displacement control. In this research, two specimens t are used, C-1 column (original column) and C-1RC column (retrofit column). The results of the study show that (1) the effectiveness of the C-1CR’s restraint and moment of force are increased by 1.58 times and 52.78% compared to the C-1’s ones, and (2) the installation of CFRP reinforcement increases the strength in accepting lateral load by 52.15% and decreases of ductility by 52.12%.  Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui peningkatan kekuatan dan daktilitas ele­men struktur kolom yang mengalami kerusakan awal, kemudian diperbaiki, dan diperkuat dengan perkuatan eksternal carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP). Pengujian ter­hadap elemen struktur kolom dilakukan dengan memberikan beban aksial yang konstan dan memvariasikan beban siklik dengan kontrol perpindahan. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan dua spesimen yaitu kolom C-1 (kolom original) dan kolom C-1RC (kolom retrofit). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) efektifitas pengekangan C-1CR meningkat 1,58 kali dan kekuatan terhadap momen meningkat sebesar 52,78% dibanding kolom C-1, dan (2)  pemasangan perkuatan CFRP memberikan peningkatan kekuatan dalam menerima beban lateral sebesar 52,15% dan penurunan daktilitas sebesar -52,12%

    PENERAPAN ASESMEN PORTOFOLIO PADA PEMBELAJARAN METODOLOGI PENELITIAN

    The implementation of portfolio assessment on research methodology learn­ing. The pur­­­pose of the study was to determine the implementation of the port­folio assessment on the lear­­n­ing model of the research methodology course, students aca­­­­demic achievement, students liveliness lear­­n­ing, and the obstacles occurred. The stu­dy used a classroom action research. Da­­­ta was collected using questionnaires, ob­ser­­vation, and documentation. Data was quan­­­titatively analyzed. The results show: first, the implementation of the learning can be performed with a pat­­tern that con­sists of two class meeting discussing theories and one class meeting deepening the cour­­­­se material, and ended  with a homework; second, the achievement of students did not increase linearly, but the level of ma­s­­tery achieved was 72.09% greater than the learning that did not use the portfolio assessment; third, the students activity in­creas­ed in each cycle in which the last cycle of activity reached 98.78%. The obs­tac­les occurred during the study were the completion of homework and students se­ri­ous­ness fac­­­tor. Tu­juan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran ases­men por­to­folio pada matakuliah metodologi penelitian, prestasi belajar ma­ha­siswa, keaktifan bel­ajar mahasiswa, dan kendala yang terjadi. Penelitian ini meng­­guna­kan rancangan pe­nelitian tindakan kelas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan ang­ket, ob­ser­­vasi, dan do­kumentasi, serta dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian me­nun­juk­­kan: pertama, pe­nerapan pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan pola dua per­te­mu­an teori dan satu per­­temuan pendalaman diakhiri tugas rumah; kedua, pres­ta­si belajar ma­­hasiswa tidak me­ningkat secara linear, namun tingkat ketuntasan men­ca­pai 72,09% lebih besar daripada bila tidak menggunakan pembelajaran dengan ases­men por­to­­folio; ketiga, ke­aktifan mahasiswa meningkat pada setiap siklusnya, de­ngan ke­ak­tifan siklus ter­akhir mencapai 98,78%.     The Evaluation of Industrial Practice Program at Study Program of Fashion - Department of In­dustrial Technology State University of Malang Based on CIPP Mo­del. The study aims to evaluate the Industrial Practice (PI) pro­gram and the obstacles that occurred during PI. The re­search uses a mixed approach/sequential mixed methods. The re­­sults show that: (1) PI program has been formulated and based on phi­lo­so­phi­cal, func­­­tional, cul­tural and introspective aspects; (2) PI program has been accomplished quitely good and very ef­fective reviewed from the aspects of inputs, processes, and outcomes, and (3) the fac­tors that has not been effective and become the obstacles are students’ competency, learning facilities and in­fra­structure, monitoring, students’ work pace, guidan­ce to mas­ter­ing tools/new technologies and materials used in industry, and the students’ performance evaluation given by the in­dus­try.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program Praktik Industri (PI) dan kendala yang terjadi. Penelitian ini meng­gunakan pendekatan campuran/mixed methods sekuensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Program PI telah di­rumuskan dan di­lan­da­si aspek filosofis, fungsional, kultural, dan introspektif; (2) program PI telah ter­lak­sana cukup bagus dan sangat efektif ditinjau dari aspek input, proses, dan  hasil; dan (3) faktor-faktor yang belum efektif dan menjadi kendala adalah kom­pe­ten­si mahasiswa, sa­ra­na dan pra­­sarana perkuliahan, mo­nitoring, kecepatan kerja maha­siswa, bim­bingan pe­­nguasaan alat/teknologi baru dan bahan produksi di in­dustri, ser­ta penilaian industri terhadap kinerja mahasiswa

    Focus Group Discussion Application to Evaluate the Service Quality of Industrial Technology Department at State University of Malang. This re­search aims to explore and analyze the factors that affect service quality delivered to the students by Industrial Technology Department. Data is collected using a focus gro­up discussion that involves 6 groups of students. The data analysis is conducted by using qualitative approach. The results of the focus group discussion show that the top seven factors that affect students’ perception on the service quality delivered by the department are: lecturers, infrastructure, curriculum, students extracurricular, la­­boratory staff, service of the administration staff and information on job career. Ba­sed on the results, it can be concluded that in order to solve students’ dis­sa­tis­fac­tion, the department is required to generate some policies that improve the service quality of these seven factors. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian dan analisis terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas layanan yang diberikan Jurusan Teknologi In­­dustri kepada mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui focus group discussion yang me­­­libatkan 6 kelompok mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pen­­dekatan kualitatif. Hasil focus group discussion menunjukkan bahwa tujuh faktor uta­­ma yang berpengaruh terhadap persepsi mahasiswa pada penilaian kualitas layanan yang diberikan jurusan, yaitu: dosen, sarana dan prasarana, kurikulum, kegiatan maha­­siswa, tenaga laboran, pelayanan administrasi akademik, dan informasi peluang ka­rier. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk memecahkan ma­­salah ketidakpuasan mahasiswa diperlukan dukungan dari kebijakan jurusan tentang tujuh faktor tersebut

    PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL ONLINE INSTALASI LISTRIK, PEMASANGAN, DAN KEAMANAN INSTALASI PADA PENDIDIKAN JARAK JAUH

    The Development of a Online E-Module of Electrical Installation, Ins­tallati­on, and Se­cu­ri­­ty Installations on the Distance Education. This research aims to develop an online e-module of elec­­trical installation material about installation and security in­s­­­­­tallations in order to help improving distance education services. This study uses a de­ve­lopment research model that includes the following steps: needs analysis, media plan­ning, product development, validation, individual test­ings, revising, small group tes­ting, revising, and final products. Based on the results of the validation and testing, the scale validity obtained were as follows: (1) 87.20% of the expert material, (2) 89.65% of media experts, and (3) 89.73% of small groups. Thus, it can be concluded that the Online E-Module of electrical installation about installation and se­cu­ri­ty ins­tal­la­tions on the distance education is feasible to be used as the learning media. Penelitian ini bertujuan me­­­ngembangkan e-modul online materi instalasi lis­­trik tentang pemasangan dan ke­amanan ins­­talasi untuk membantu meningkatkan la­y­a­n­­an pendidikan jarak jauh. Pe­ne­litian ini meng­­gunakan model pengembangan dengan lang­­­­­kah-langkah penelitian: ana­lisis ke­bu­tu­h­an, perencanaan media, pengembangan pro­­­­­duk, validasi, ujicoba per­seora­ngan, re­vi­si, ujicoba kelompok kecil, revisi, dan pro­duk akhir. Berdasarkan hasil vali­dasi dan uji­co­­ba, diperoleh besaran validitas sebagai be­­­rikut: (1) dari ahli materi 87,20%, (2) dari ah­li media 89,65%, dan (3) kelompok ke­cil 89,73%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul on­­line instalasi listrik tentang pe­­­­­masangan dan keamanan instalasi pada pendidi­kan jarak ja­­­­uh ini layak untuk di­­­­­gunakan sebagai media pembelajaran

    Increasing Students’ Understanding on Using Measurement Tools by Implementing MURDER Learning Strategy on Vocational High School Students of Au­­to­motive Field. This research aims to (1) describe the MURDER learn­ing stra­tegies, (2) determine the increase in the students' understanding of the basic vo­­ca­tio­nal competency on using measurement tools after the implementation of the MURDER learning strategies at SMK. The method used is a action research model, which is conducted in 3 cycles. The sub­­jects of this research are 40 students of class X TKR2. The ins­tru­ments used are observation guidance, interviews, documentation and test. Data is analyzed using a descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results show that the students’ understanding in cycle 1 is 80.37%, cycle 2 is 86.25% and cycle 3 is 89.10%. This study concludes that the implementation of MURDER learn­ing strategy in class X TKR at SMK can improve the students understanding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan stra­tegi belajar MURDER; (2) mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa pada dasar kom­­­­petensi ke­ju­ru­an menggunakan alat-alat ukur setelah diterapkannya strategi bel­ajar MURDER di SMK. Metode yang digunakan adalah pe­­­nelitian tindakan kelas, se­ba­nyak 3 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini ada­­­­­lah siswa kelas X TKR2 yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pedoman observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Data dianalisis dengan des­kriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan pemahaman sis­wa pada siklus 1 mencapai 80,37%, siklus 2 mencapai 86,25%, dan si­klus 3 mencapai 89,10%. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi belajar MURDER da­pat me­­ningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas X TKR SMK

    The Implementation of Education Unit Level Curriculum of SMK Spectrum in Study Program of Com­­­­­­­puter Engineering and Information Technology. This study aims to describe the implementation of SMK spectrum curriculum on organizing productive learning and the encountered obstacles. The research uses a qualitative approach using a multi-site design. The results show: (1) the planning of productive learning includes assigning curriculum team, SK/KD arrangement, involvement of DU/DI, RPP arrangement, the implementation of productive learning consists of grouping SK/KD, learning process in DU/DI, and of project work; the learning assessments are written assessment, interview, and practical; (2) the obstacles are small number of qualified teacher, inconsistency teachers, and lack of facilities.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulum spektrum SMK pada pengelolaan pembelajaran produktif dan hambatan-hambatan yang terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan multi situs. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran meliputi pem­bentukan tim kurikulum, penyusunan SK/KD, pelibatan DU/DI, penyusunan RPP, pelaksanaan pembelajaran meliputi pembagian SK/KD, pembelajaran di DU/DI, dan project work; penilaian pembelajaran berupa penilaian tertulis, lisan, dan praktik;    (2) hambatan yang terjadi berupa minimnya guru tetap berkualifikasi S1 pendidikan komputer, inkonsistensi guru, dan minimnya sarana prasarana
