    Pengaruh Variasi Beban terhadap Faktor Kekuatan Rangka Sepeda dari Bahan AISI 1035 Steel (SS) dengan Simulasi Solidworks

    This research aims to investigate the impact of load variations in the range of 140 Kgf to 240 Kgf on the strength factor of bicycle frames made of metal material, namely AISI 1035 Steel (SS), through Solidworks simulations. The parameters used in the simulation evaluation are the load or force that occurs, stress or von Mises, displacement and factor of safety. The main focus of the research is to evaluate the structural response of the bicycle frame to these load variations and identify the most optimal loading, taking into account a safety factor of 2.5 applied to the design. The Solidworks simulation method is used to analyze the maximum stress that occurs (114.3 N/mm2) and maximum displacement (0.245 mm) in the bicycle frame. This simulation includes the application of gradual loads to a bicycle frame model, and stress and displacement calculations are carried out in detail. The results show that the most ideal loading occurs below 220 Kgf, indicating optimal structural stability and safety. The conclusions from these findings provide deep insight into the performance of bicycle frames in the face of certain load variations. Potential implications include the development of more efficient and safer bicycle frame designs, contributing to increased safety and comfort for bicycle users

    Penerapan Teori Penetrasi Sosial dalam Komunikasi Virtual (Studi Kasus pada Komunitas Penggemar BTS atau ARMY)

    The fan community, particularly in Korean music culture, commonly referred to as K-Pop, is flourishing in tandem with the evolving times. Beyond being a platform for sharing common interests, fan communities have become a means for interaction, discussion, and the formation of friendships. The progression of time, facilitated by digital technology, further supports this through the creation of fan communities engaging in virtual interactions, predominantly on social media platforms. The objective of this research is to explore the dynamics of virtual communication relationships within the BTS fan community (ARMY) using the Social Penetration Theory. This theory is employed to comprehend the process of interpersonal relationship development within virtual communities. The research adopts a qualitative research method with a case study approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The study involves 15 active members of the BTS fan community who interact on social media fanbase platforms. The research findings shed light on the understanding of how BTS fan community members establish and foster a sense of intimacy through virtual communication, exploring the application, influencing factors, and stages of these relationships. The theoretical and practical implications of this research, supported by previous studies, can provide guidance for community managers and other researchers, contributing to the development of the Social Penetration Theory in the context of virtual communication.Komunitas penggemar, utamanya dalam budaya musik Korea atau biasa disebut K-Pop semakin berkembang seiring zaman yang semakin berubah. Bukan hanya sebagai media berbagi kegemaran, komunitas penggemar menjadi suatu sarana untuk berinteraksi dan berdiskusi hingga menjalin keakraban. Perkembangan zaman dengan menggunakan teknologi digital juga mendukung hal tersebut melalui terciptanya komunitas penggemar yang melakukan interaksi secara virtual. Interaksi ini dilakukan dalam platform media sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana dinamika hubungan komunikasi virtual pada komunitas penggemar BTS (ARMY) dengan menggunakan Teori Penetrasi Sosial. Teori Penetrasi Sosial digunakan untuk memahami proses perkembangan hubungan interpersonal di dalam komunitas virtual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 15 anggota aktif komunitas penggemar BTS yang melakukan interaksi di fanbase media sosial.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan mengenai pemahaman tentang bagaimana anggota komunitas penggemar BTS menjalin dan mengembangkan hubungan keakraban melalui komunikasi virtual melalui penerapan, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi serta tahapan hubungannya. Implikasi teoritis dan praktis dari penelitian ini yang juga didukung oleh penelitian terdahulu dapat memberikan panduan bagi pengelola komunitas dan peneliti lain. Penelitian ini juga dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan Teori Penetrasi Sosial dalam konteks komunikasi yang dilakukan secara virtual

    The twin towers paradigm in the Islamic Community Development Study Program at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya emphasizes Islamic integration and community empowerment. This research designs a road map that suits the paradigm and needs of the community, so that the results meet academic standards while directly benefiting the community as empowerment partners. The method used in this research uses a qualitative approach through the results of FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and interviews. The research results show that there are strategic issues being developed in line with the strategic issues of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, such as basic scientific research for scientific development in the Islamic Community Development Study Program to strengthen study program competencies, community-based research (community engagement research) in the field of community service with various community-based research approaches and methods such as Participatory Action Research (PAR) and Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), environmental issues including the themes of environmental conservation, natural disasters and eco-tourism using an Islamic perspective.Paradigma twin towers dalam penelitian mahasiswa program studi Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya merupakan suatu perspektif analisis kajian keislaman dalam konteks dakwah pemberdayaan yang mengintegrasikan pola dialog atau saling sapa antara perspektif Islam dan pemberdayaan. Setiap program studi pada suatu universitas didorong untuk menyusun dan mengembangkan peta jalan (roadmap) penelitian yang menjadi pedoman dan arahan kebijakan dalam pengelolaan pendidikan, pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Evaluasi dan monitoring yang dilakukan program studi untuk menjaga naskah akademik yang disusun mahasiswa agar sesuai dengan kriteria standar perguruan tinggi memberikan dampak dan kebermanfaatan pada masyarakat yang berkedudukan sebagai subyek dan sekaligus mitra penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan ini menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis yang diperoleh dari naskah skripsi mahasiswa dan juga melalui lisan dari orang-orang atau perilaku yang diperoleh dari hasil FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika terdapat isu-isu strategis yang dikembangkan sejalan dengan isu-isu strategis dari UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya seperti penelitian keilmuan dasar untuk pengembangan keilmuan pada Program Studi pengembangan Masyarakat Islam untuk menguatkan kompetensi prodi, penelitian berbasis komunitas (community engagement research) di bidang pengabdian masyarakat dengan berbagai pendekatan dan metode riset berbasis komunitas seperti Participatory Action Research (PAR) dan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), isu lingkungan hidup meliputi tema konservasi lingkungan hidup, bencana alam dan eco-tourism menggunakan perspektif islam

    Analisi Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Optik

    : Optics is a branch of physics related to complex and abstract daily life technology. Critical thinking skills can make a very meaningful contribution to students in understanding abstract material such as optics. Therefore, this study aims to describe students' critical thinking skills in the context of optics learning. Descriptive method with qualitative approach was applied to 108 students of class XII MIPA. The research instrument consisted of 5 description questions. The results showed that the average critical thinking ability of students was 55.28 (medium category). When viewed from each sub-matter, the percentage of students who fall into the low critical thinking ability category is 53.7% (light reflection material) and 54.6% (light refraction material). In a more in-depth analysis, the percentage of students' critical thinking skills on each indicator also tended to be higher in the low critical thinking ability group, with values of 66.7% (interpretation indicator), 71.3% (analysis indicator), 65.7% (inference indicator), 86.1% (evaluation indicator), and 80.6% (explanation indicator). The implications of the results of this study indicate the need to apply learning methods that can train students in solving problems in everyday life that are general and complex, such as PjBL and the STEAM approach.Optik adalah cabang ilmu fisika yang berkaitan dengan teknologi kehidupan sehari-hari yang kompleks dan abstrak. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat memberikan kontribusi yang sangat berarti bagi siswa dalam memahami materi yang bersifat abstrak seperti optik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran optik. Metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif diterapkan pada 108 siswa kelas XII MIPA. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari 5 butir soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa adalah sebesar 55,28 (kategori sedang). Ketika dilihat dari setiap sub-materi, persentase siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah adalah sebesar 53,7% (materi pemantulan cahaya) dan 54,6% (materi pembiasan cahaya). Dalam analisis lebih mendalam, persentase kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada setiap indikator juga cenderung lebih tinggi pada kelompok kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah, dengan nilai sebesar 66,7% (indikator interpretasi), 71,3% (indikator analisis), 65,7% (indikator inferensi), 86,1% (indikator evaluasi), dan 80,6% (indikator penjelasan). Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya penerapan metode pembelajaran yang dapat melatih siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang bersifat umum dan kompleks, seperti PjBL dan pendekatan STEAM

    ‘’Independence of Learning†from the MBKM concept is often associated with Paulo Freire's critical pedagogy. This research and development (R&D) seek to design and test dialogic learning strategies/methods using the ADDIE model (analyze, design, develop, implement & evaluate). The product trial consisted of expert assessment and field trial through formative evaluation (one-to-one, small-group & field trial) which was conducted by 30 participants. Data collection techniques include filling out questionnaires’ interviews, observation and documentation. Quantitative data analysis uses descriptive statistics with the help of IBM SPSS 26 software. The qualitative data analysis uses the help of Atlas.Tiversi 9 qualitative data analysis software. Based on the results of the field-test evaluation with a percentage of 90%, it can be concluded that the dialogical teaching method is very feasible. Three main themes from the qualitative data were (a) the relationship between the teaching method and students' responses, (b) students' readiness for critical learning and (c) the positive effects of problem-facing learning. Prospectively, our design is promising to be used as a teaching method in future MBKM curricula

    Collaboration Skills in Vocational Schools in The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Sector

    In 2018, the technology, business and ICT (information and communication technology) sectors were the sectors that received the most new students at the vocational school level. Jobs in the ICT sector are one of the sectors that are really needed in Indonesia. There are more job vacancies in the ICT sector for vocational schools than for high schools. However, in the 2015-2019 period, the number of ICT sector workers with high school graduates was higher than vocational school graduates. The soft skill that is most needed in ICT sector jobs is collaboration. The main objective of this literacy study is to describe learning methods to improve collaboration skills in vocational high school students in the ICT field. Systematic literacy study using the PICOC framework is the method used. The results of this literacy study are in the form of descriptions related to: 1. The concept of collaboration; 2. Challenges and obstacles; 3. Learning activities to improve collaboration skills. It was found that problem-based learning (PBL) can improve collaboration abilities. To be suited to the world of work, it is necessary to integrate the Scrum model to develop vocational school students' collaboration skills in the field of ICT

    Commognitive Mahasiswa Dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Kontekstual Pemodelan Matematika

    This research aims to describe students' cognitive abilities in mathematical modeling material. The methods used in this research are preparation, data collection, transcription and analysis. A total of nine students who were grouped into three groups were given mathematics problem sheets, containing contextual story problems consisting of one number regarding mathematical modeling. A student representing his group was selected as a research subject based on Polya indicators and was interviewed in a semi-structured and in-depth manner to dig up further information and then analyzed cognitively. The research results show that the research subjects can solve mathematical problems well. The subject can communicate ordinary sentences well into mathematical models. The components of words use, visual mediators, narratives, and routines show that students' cognitive ability in solving mathematical contextual problems is very good in mathematical modeling material

    Studi Kritis: Pembelajaran Toleransi dalam Buku Ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti Sekolah Dasar

    Islamic Religious Education and Ethics textbooks, hereafter written as PAI and BP, are vital elements in instilling character values, including tolerance in schools. However, cases of intolerance still occur frequently in Indonesia and this is often associated with religious education in schools. This research seeks to reveal the proportion of PAI learning materials and how the learning content of tolerance in PAI and BP textbooks. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method that analyzes the content of PAI and BP textbooks published by the Ministry of Education and Culture 2013 Revised Curriculum 2013 (Grades II, III, V, and VI) and Independent Curriculum (Grades I and IV). Data analysis techniques in this study are 3 stages, namely data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed that the proportion of material in PAI and BP textbooks is dominated by moral material that is in line with the objectives of Islamic religious education, then in the textbook there are 4 categories of tolerance, namely: (1) tolerance in belief and worship; (2) tolerance of coexistence with other religions; (3) tolerance in inter-community relations; (4) internal tolerance of Muslims packaged with interesting illustrations, especially in independent curriculum books

    Estimasi State-of-Charge Pada Baterai Lithium-Ion Menggunakan Deep Neural Network

    As electric vehicles (EV) become increasingly popular in the automotive world, an accurate State-of-Charge (SoC) estimation is critical to optimizing energy utilization, increasing driving range and ensuring long-lasting battery system. This research focuses on the application of Deep Neural Networks (DNN) as an SoC estimation method in EV, exploiting the inherent capacity of DNN to learn complex relationships in vast data sets. The results of the performed simulations show that the proposed DNN-based SoC estimation method achieves a high level of accuracy, outperforming traditional estimation techniques, especially in scenarios involving rapid changes in driving conditions. This research also explores the impact of Neural Networks architecture and hyperparameter tuning on overall performance and provides insights for optimizing DNN-based SoC estimation systems. From the tests that have been carried out, an error value of 1.3% is obtained from the results of the training carried out on the DNN structure that has been prepared.Seiring dengan semakin populernya kendaraan listrik (EV) di dunia otomotif, estimasi State-of-Charge (SoC) yang akurat sangat penting untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan energi, meningkatkan jangkauan berkendara dan memastikan sistem baterai tahan lama. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan Deep Neural Networks (DNN) sebagai metode estimasi SoC pada EV, memanfaatkan kapasitas bawaan DNN untuk mempelajari hubungan kompleks dalam kumpulan data yang luas. Hasil dari simulasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa metode estimasi SoC berbasis DNN yang diusulkan mencapai tingkat akurasi yang tinggi, mengungguli teknik estimasi tradisional, terutama dalam skenario yang melibatkan perubahan cepat dalam kondisi berkendara. Penelitian ini juga mengeskplorasi dampak arsitektur Neural Networks dan penyetelan hyperparameter terhadap kinerja secara keseluruhan, serta memberikan wawasan untuk mengoptimalkan sistem estimasi SoC berbasis DNN. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan didapat nilai error sebesar 1.3% dari hasil training yang dilakukan terhadap struktur DNN yang telah disusun

    The Implementation of Bottom-Up in Reading Comprehension for Vocational School Students

    This research aims to investigate the improvement reading comprehension of SMK PGRI 2 Mojokerto by using Bottom-Up approach in reading comprehension of recount text. The research was conducted in two Cycles of Classroom Action Research (CAR) where each Cycle was conducted in 4 (four) phases, they were: planning, action, observation, reflection. Each Cycle was applied in (four) meetings. The subjects of the research were 35 students of tenth grade (X-C Mechatronics). In collecting data, the researcher applied three instruments: observation, questionnaire and reading test. There were 2 (two) observations in field note which conducted by the researcher: the first observation which was done before implementing Bottom-Up to find the problem during reading activity in English lesson. Meanwhile, the second observation was to find the improvement in having Bottom-Up that conducted by English teacher during the approach applied. The questionnaire was delivered to students in the fourth meeting of the second Cycle to find out the responses of the students in learning reading by using Bottom-Up. The data was analyzed through descriptive and statistical method. In this research, the researcher acted as a teacher and the English teacher as an observer. The research findings showed that the students reading comprehension improved from Cycle I to Cycle II. Furthermore, the data from the observation and questionnaire indicated that the majority of the students gave positive response toward the use of Bottom-Up approach in teaching reading. It emphasized that the approach could improve students’ ability in reading, effective, interesting, and grab the students’ enthusiasm in reading activity
