PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN TEACHING AT THE RIGHT LEVEL (TARL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR DAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII A SMP WAHID HASYIM TAHUN AJARAN 2023/2024
Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) learning is a learning method that refers to the level of achievement and ability of the learners themselves. The researcher aims to increase students' interest in learning and ability to understand concepts so that it can overcome the problems that have been observed in Class VII A Wahid Hasyim Junior High School. The stages used by researchers in applying Teaching at the Right Level are learning analysis, diagnostic assessment, application of teaching modules, mapping of students, application of TaRL activities, assessment of students' processes, and evaluation of learning activities. The type of research used by this researcher uses a classroom action research method with a participatory approach. The results of observations of researcher activities in the implementation of cycle II actions carried out by observer I and observer II showed percentage values reaching 97% and 96% which were categorized as very good. Meanwhile, in cycle II action research that analyzed the results of observations of student activities, observer I gave an assessment of 98% and observer II gave an assessment of 96% which was also categorized as very good. At the end of cycle II, the test results of students reached 19 students or around 86% of students were complete. So, it is concluded that the application of Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) learning can increase learning interest and concept understanding in students of class VII A Wahid Hasyim Junior High School.Abstract: Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) learning is a learning method that refers to the level of achievement and ability of the learners themselves. Tujuan peneliti untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik sehingga dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang telah diobservasi di Kelas VII A SMP Wahid Hasyim. Tahapan-tahapan yang digunakan peneliti dalam menerapkan Teaching at The Right Level yaitu analisis pembelajaran, penilaian diagnostik, penerapan modul ajar, pemetaan peserta didik, penerapan aktivitas TaRL, penilaian proses peserta didik, dan evaluasi aktivitas pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil observasi aktivitas peneliti pada pelaksanaan tindakan siklus II yang dilakukan oleh observer I dan observer II menunjukkan nilai persentase mencapai 97% dan 96% yang dikategorikan sangat baik. Sementara itu, pada penelitian tindakan siklus II yang menganalisis hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik, observer I memberikan penilaian sebesar 98% dan observer II memberikan penilaian 96% yang juga dikategorikan sangat baik.  Pada akhir siklus II, hasil tes peserta didik mencapai 19 peserta didik atau sekitar 86% peserta didik tuntas. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan pemahaman konsep pada peserta didik kelas VII A SMP Wahid Hasyim
Sistem Grading Kualitas Telur Ayam Konsumsi berdasarkan Citra Kerabang Menggunakan Convolutional Neural
Chicken egg grading is identifying and grouping or classifying chicken eggs for consumption based on specific criteria. In SNI 3926:2008, the grade/class of consumption eggs is divided into 3 (three): Grades I, II, and III. Eggs with grade I have a higher selling value than grade II. Likewise, grade II eggs have a higher selling value than grade III. With these criteria, it is necessary to carry out a grading process that is still carried out by manual observation, so it requires extra time and energy with less uniform results because it depends on the individual observing. Based on these problems, it is necessary to have an egg quality grading system based on shell images that can identify egg quality according to its grade. In the study, there are several stages of research, namely: 1) Literature Study, 2) Data Collection, 3) System Design, 4) System Testing, 5) Results Analysis, and 6) Publication and Reporting. The CNN algorithm is used to classify based on shell images. The study's results showed that the performance of the CNN model had an accuracy value of 92.19%, precision of 92.78%, recall of 92.62%, and f1-score of 92.42%. This shows that the CNN model can well classify the quality of chicken eggs for consumption based on shell images.Grading telur ayam merupakan proses identifikasi dan pengelompokan atau klasifikasi telur ayam konsumsi berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Dalam SNI 3926:2008, grade/kelas telur konsumsi dibagi menjadi 3 (tiga) yaitu telur Grade I, II, dan III. Telur dengan grade I memiliki nilai jual yang lebih tinggi daripada grade II, demikian juga telur grade II memiliki nilai jual lebih tinggi daripada grade III. Dengan adanya kriteria tersebut, perlu dilakukan proses grading yang masih dikerjakan dengan pengamatan secara manual sehingga memerlukan waktu dan tenaga ekstra lebih dengan hasil yang kurang seragam karena bergantung kepada individu yang mengamati. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, perlu adanya sistem grading kualitas telur berdasar citra kerabang yang mampu mengidentifikasi kualitas telur sesuai gradenya. Pada penelitian terdapat beberapa tahapan penelitian yaitu; 1) Studi Pustaka, 2) Pengumpulan Data, 3) Perancangan Sistem, 4) Ujicoba Sistem, 5) Analisa Hasil, dan 6) Publikasi dan Pelaporan. Algoritma CNN digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi berdasarkan citra kerabang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa performa model CNN memiliki nilai akurasi 92,19%, presisi 92,78%, recall 92,62%, dan f1-score 92,42%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model CNN yang dibangun mampu melakukan klasifikasi kualitas telur ayam konsumsi berdasar citra kerabang dengan baik
Kontribusi Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Sebagai Akselerator Peningkatan Kompetensi Desain Motif Tekstil Siswa SMK Busana
This article discusses the contribution of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model as an accelerator for increasing the textile motif design competency of Fashion Vocational High School (SMK) students. The focus is on the integration of PjBL in learning fashion design and production in vocational schools, which is considered important to prepare graduates to face the challenges of the dynamic fashion industry. The discussion includes the characteristics of textile motif design competencies, the literature study methods used, the findings, and the role of PjBL in increasing students' creativity, critical thinking, and cross-disciplinary skills. This article provides a comprehensive overview of how PjBL can improve the quality of vocational education, especially in developing the textile motif design competency of SMK Clothing students.Artikel ini membahas kontribusi Model Pembelajaran Project-Based Learning (PjBL) sebagai akselerator peningkatan kompetensi desain motif tekstil siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Busana. Fokusnya adalah pada integrasi PjBL dalam pembelajaran desain dan produksi busana di SMK, yang dianggap penting untuk mempersiapkan lulusan dalam menghadapi tantangan industri fashion yang dinamis. Pembahasan mencakup karakteristik kompetensi desain motif tekstil, metode studi literatur yang digunakan, hasil temuan, dan peran PjBL dalam meningkatkan kreativitas, berpikir kritis, dan keterampilan lintas disiplin siswa. Inovasi Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Untuk Berpikir Kritis Pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika Di Sd Negeri Birowo 03 Binangun Blitar
The focus of this article is to identify PBL-based mathematics learning innovations and PBL-based mathematics learning outcomes. The method used is qualitative and the type is a case study. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation and data analysis was carried out in three activity streams that occurred simultaneously in the data collection process, namely: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The research results stated that the stages of PBL-based mathematics learning consisted of three main steps, namely the teacher providing an explanation of the material first before presenting the problem, the teacher giving work papers, and students being directed to complete the work papers in groups. This PBL model indicates that teachers have good managerial skills in the learning process. The results of mathematics learning using the PBL method indicate the delivery of material during the learning process, and students' social skills during learning. The PBL method has an important meaning in seeing the success of learning and education. Both specifically in mathematics and all other subjects. Considering learning outcomes can be used to prepare learning evaluations.Abstrak: Fokus artikel ini adalah untuk mengingidentifikasi inovasi pembelajaran matematika berbasis PBL dan hasil pembelajaran matematika berbasis PBL. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan jenisnya studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dan analisis data dilakukan dalam tiga alur kegiatan yang terjadi secara bersamaan dalam proses pengumpulan data yaitu: kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan,tahapan pembelajaran matematika berbasis PBL terdiri dari tiga langkah utama yakni guru memberikan penjelasan materi terlebih dahulu sebelum disampaikan masalah, guru memberikan kertas kerja, dan murid diarahkan untuk menyelesaikan kertas kerja secara berkelompok. Model PBL ini menandakan guru memiliki kemampuan manajerial dalam proses pembelajaran yang baik. Hasil pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan metode PBL menandakan tersampaikannya materi ketika proses pembelajaran, dan kemampuan sosial murid selama pembelajaran. Metode PBL memiliki makna penting untuk melihat keberhasilan pembelajaran dan pendidikan. Baik secara khusus pada mata pelajaran matematika dan keseluruhan mata pelajaran lainnya. Mengingat hasil belajar dapat digunakan untuk menyusun evaluasi pembelajaran.Â
Discovery Learning Model to Improve the Quality of Student Learning Post Covid 19 Pandemics
This study aims to analyze the post-pandemic learning process using the Discovery Learning method. The population of this study was all class A students of the Industrial Engineering study program in the fourth semester of Muhammadyah University A.R. Fachruddin, numbering approximately 26 people. Determination of the sample in this study is the saturated sample method so that the number of samples is the same as the number of populations, namely as many as 26 samples. This research is quasi-experimental. This research was conducted using an online discovery learning model. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there are differences in quality between learning using the Discovery Learning method and without Discovery Learning. According to the results of the analysis, the Discovery Learning learning method is of higher quality than learning without using the Discovery Learning method
Pembelajaran Abad-21 Melalui Model Project Based Learning Terintegrasi STEM (PJBL-STEM) dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi
This research aims to explore and describe the application of Project Based Learning which is integrated with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) approach in improving the high-level thinking abilities of Automotive Engineering Education students. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through literature studies which included printed books, scientific journals, and articles related to project-based learning and STEM approaches. The conclusion from the literature study shows that the application of the PjBL-STEM Learning Model is effective in developing students' higher order thinking skills. PjBL provides encouragement for active student involvement, increases interest and motivation to learn, and produces meaningful learning. In addition, the STEM approach trains students to apply knowledge in solving environmental problems by utilizing technology. The profile of Automotive Engineering Education graduates in the 21st century is designed to prepare individuals as leaders in various automotive-related fields, with high-level thinking abilities as a strong foundation in facing the challenges of the modern automotive industry. The results of this research confirm that the development of high-level thinking abilities is a key element in automotive engineering education in the current era
The Effectiveness of Magnetism Recitation Program to Improve Students' Understanding Concepts on Topic Magnetism
Students often experience difficulties in mastering physics concepts, especially on the topic of magnetism due to inaccurate understanding and misconceptions. Limited learning time is also a factor that hinders in-depth understanding. To overcome this problem, a web-based recitation method was developed using the Moodle platform to help improve students' mastery of concepts. This research developed a recitation program called the Magnetism Recitation Program (MRP) and can be accessed using a smartphone or laptop with an internet network. MRP contains multiple choice questions with direct feedback that are tailored to various student thinking possibilities. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of MRP. To answer the objectives, this research used a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 25 Physics Education students at the State University of Malang who were taking the Basic Physics III course. The effectiveness of MRP is analyzed using the n-gain value. The research results show an n-gain value of 0.22, which means that MRP is effective in increasing students' mastery of concepts on the topic of magnetism, although there are several weaknesses that students still experience
Analisis Kelayakan Aspek Pasar dan Aspek Finansial Pada Proyek Optimalisasi Desa Wisata Watulimo, Kabupaten Trenggalek
A feasibility study is a business project analysis of whether or not a project is feasible to carry out continuously profitably. The feasibility study has 7 aspects for investors to consider when investing in the project. The planning for the Watulimo tourist village has gone through master plan planning so it requires a feasibility study to attract investors to invest their funds. This research focuses on market aspects and quantitative financial aspects. In the market aspect, researchers use a questionnaire to determine the characteristics of tourists regarding their decision to visit. Respondents were 30 people with an age range of 13 - 18 years. Apart from that, they also predicted the number of visitors in the future. In the financial aspect, researchers use the NPV, PP and IRR methods as indicators of project feasibility. From the results of data processing, it was obtained that the market aspect of the decision to visit was influenced by psychological factors by 89.3% > other factors. The forecasting method uses the time series trend method with a double moving average model. From this model, the results show that the number of visitors will continue to increase every year. In the financial aspect, the NPV results in stages 1 and 2 were positive, the PP calculation in stage 1 was <the economic age of the building, but in stage 2 the PP was predicted to be > the economic age of the building. Meanwhile, the IRR calculation method for both stages 1 and 2 exceeds the specified interest rate (9%)
PERAN KEPEMIMPINAN DALAM MENUMBUHKAN SOLIDARITAS PEMUDA RANTAU PADA IKPMD-MALANG
The purpose of this research is to find out how the leadership role of the overseas young generation in IKPMD Malang and to find out the challenges associated with the implementation of leadership in regional organizations. In this study, a qualitative descriptive research method was applied. Methods such as in-depth interviews and observation were used to conduct qualitative research. The researcher conducted a thorough analysis of the field data using this strategy. To find out the role of leadership in fostering the solidarity of overseas youth and the challenges faced by youth in the organization, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods and interviewed the Chairperson of IKPMD Malang, IKPMD Malang administrators, and one of the active members of IKPMD Malang. The findings of this study discuss the function of youth leadership in fostering communities abroad. Specifically, the leadership designs work programs which include athletics, IKPMD greetings, social work programs (intimacy nights), religious studies and talks, and major work programs. Budget, low member involvement, and the challenge of bringing all IKPMD-Malang members together are the challenges.Kepemimpinan merupakan suatu proses dalam mempengaruhi atau mempengaruhi orang lain melalui berbagai cara. Menjadi pemimpin tidak hanya dikalangan dewasa saja melainkan juga dikalangan muda. Pemuda sebagai agen perubahan harus mampu menjadi pemuda yang kompetitif, berkepribadian, kreatif, inovatif dan memiliki semangatisme yang tinggi. Membaca keterampilan kepemimpinan mereka adalah salah satu tindakan yang dilakukan generasi muda untuk memperbaiki keadaan negara ini. Pemuda dapat meningkatkan solidaritas dalam proses pengembangan kepemimpinan ini dengan menyadari perlunya melakukan percakapan yang mendalam antar anggota kelompok dan antar individu serta antar kelompok dalam masyarakat. Tujuan: (1) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran kepemimpinan generasi muda rantau di IKPMD Malang. (2) Untuk mengetahui tantangan-tantangan yang terkait dengan pelaksanaan kepemimpinan dalam organisasi daerah. Dalam penelitian ini, metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif akan digunakan. Metode seperti wawancara mendalam dan observasi digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian kualitatif. Peneliti akan melakukan analisis menyeluruh terhadap data lapangan dengan menggunakan strategi ini. Untuk mengetahui peran kepemimpinan dalam menumbuhkan solidaritas pemuda rantau dan tantangan yang dihadapi pemuda dalam organisasi, peneliti akan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan mewawancarai Ketua Umum IKPMD Malang, pengurus IKPMD Malang, dan salah satu pengurus aktif. anggota IKPMD Malang. Temuan penelitian ini membahas fungsi kepemimpinan muda dalam membina komunitas di luar negeri. Secara khusus merancang program kerja yang meliputi atletik, salam IKPMD, program kerja sosial (malam keakraban), kajian dan bincang-bincang agama, serta program kerja besar. Anggaran, rendahnya keterlibatan anggota, dan tantangan dalam mempertemukan seluruh anggota IKPMD-Malang menjadi tantangannya.Â
Peran RSPO dan ISPO Pada Keberlanjutan Industri Minyak Kelapa Sawit di Indonesia: Studi Kasus Indofood
This article conceptualizes the role of the RSPO and ISO on sustainability issues in the palm oil industry in Indonesia. The increasing global demand for palm oil has raised concerns regarding the sustainability of production, especially in Indonesia as its largest producer. Sustainability challenges drive the need for sustainable palm oil farming practices and certifications such as RSPO and ISPO. The Indofood case is a critical issue in Indonesia, although certification measures have been taken, in practice there are still obstacles in monitoring, law enforcement, human rights and the environment. Therefore, an in-depth evaluation of the core issues in the palm oil industry and the role and improvement of RSPO and ISPO certification is needed. A concerted effort by governments, producers and third parties are needed to strengthen monitoring, law enforcement, and focus on human rights and the environment. The government has a crucial role in shaping the foundation of sustainability through regulation and financial support. With stakeholder synergy, the industry can be a driver of equitable sustainable development in the future
