    Sadranan Sebagai Bentuk Komunikasi Sosial

    This research aims to identify the form of social communication in Sadranan ceremony tradition. Research method that uses for collecting data are qualitative descriptive with interview, observation, documentation and study literature. Data are analyzed using validity techniqueas triangulated-source. This research investigates pre-procession, performance and post-ceremonial of Sadranan. Values that presented in Sadranan ceremonial consist of kinship and mutual-help. The discussion is refers to Theory of Symbol, Cultural Theory, and Interaksionisme simbolis by. Conclusions that can be drawn are Sadranan ceremony, as a symbol has dual concept namely general concept as grave-pilgrimage and specific concept as thankfulness to God the One, welcoming Ramadhan, praying forgiveness for ancestor spirit, and maintaining social relation during Sadranan procession. Sadranan ceremony is one of communication element with urges people to meet and communicate. Sadranan ceremony as native costum remain performed till nowadays and develops which represent native custom particularly Karangturi village. It is also concluded that Sadranan ceremony has be through value modification which inserted with Islam principles

    This study aims to determine the spatialization and practices of media conglomeration by Kompas Gramedia group. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. In this research, data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, library research, and documentation. This study uses a technique Interactive Analysis Model Miles and Huberman. Spatialization as a process for overcoming space and time, map out the extent to which the media were able to present their products to the front of the reader, viewer, or consumers with the limits of space and time. The results indicate that the practice of spatialization conducted by Kompas Gramedia Group is to follow the model of industrial economy. It is characterized by the abundance of media and accelerate the results to get a low cost for the production or efficiency. This indicates the growth spirit of capitalism in the media industry. The media industry, which was built in the spirit of capitalism would produce media messages or product oriented capital increase. The conglomeration of media make the media do their efficiency is reflected in the value chain of media products. As the result, media also could not avoid about the content that will be the same. With equalizer for the content of these media, people in the audience do not have the freedom to select appropriate media content as what they want

Kegiatan Public Relations to support the marketing of which the existence of a local radio talk show in Cirebon (Cirebon FM), a local television talk show in Cirebon (RCTV), cooperation in carrying out tasks related to corporate law. 3. Packaging persuasive message content, preparation of informative messages are intended to provide excitement and build consumer understanding. 4.     This research aims to test the significant differences the use of family communication and the pattern of childcare toddlers and teenagers in families living in the Kampung Tugu in north Jakarta, Kampung Condet in East Jakarta and Ujung Harapan in bekasi. This study using quantitative methods of correlational. The results of research shows that the communication in childcare on the community in Kampung Tugu of north Jakarta, more affected from ways obtained from earlier the generations. The average betawi people in their religious pillar of the nazarenes, some are muslim. For people who follow the Islamic religion, they to develop a pattern of parenting in the family in Islamic way. The Betawi Community of Kampung Condet in East Jakarta, further develop ways a family tradition which are influenced by arab cultures ways. So they develop more into islamic ways. Also betawi people on Kampung Ujung Harapan in Bekasi, almost the entire community on Kampung Ujung Harapan Bekasi are moeslim. So that childcare more patterns dominated by islamic ways which were inherited from earlier generations. A pattern to the consistence of parenting in educating if compared between toddlers and teenagers, the community in Kampung Tugu more dominant educate young teen, while the Kampung Condet and Kampung Ujung Harapan directing consistency educate in toddlers and teenagers

This research aims to understand planning, organizing, mobilizing and supervision in the management of editorial on daily newspaper of Radar Cirebon. A method of this research is descriptive qualitative, data was gathered by direct interview, observasion and availability of literature studies. Based on covered can be drawn conclusions that ( 1 ) In the planning stages, daily newspaper of Radar Cirebon well to plan, it is seen from the success of meeting and a meeting of the editor. ( 2 ) the organizing stages, the editor management has forming the organization structure and their duty to each personel.( 3 ) The mobilization phase is very important to editor management in daily newspaper of Radar Cirebon, because of mobilizarion, the management of material goes well, start from the reporting process, writing, editing till becoming the news.     This study aims to analyze changes in communications in disaster mitigation innovation in communication of society in disaster-prone areas with the events of Mount Merapi eruption in 2010. The method used is descriptive research data collection through observation and interviews with community territory in the hamlet Kalitengahkidul, Glagaharjo village, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The concept used is the diffusion of innovation, information and disaster mitigation. The results showed there were adoption of innovations related to the disaster mitigation community communication. Communication changes occur in the communication tools used, sources of information to determine the evacuation decision making, communication, community groups define the disaster mitigation procedures, sources of information about volcanic activity and the priority that must be performed during emergency response and post-disaster recovery period. Findings of the study after the eruption of 2010 appears attitude residents of disaster-prone region more independent and have the initiative in adopting innovations disaster mitigation, especially in terms of communication among communities in the face of potential disasters that will arise

    Research examines the focus of social identity and cultural identity of individuals between states of Germany, China and Indonesia. Building a sense of one's cultural identity is comprised of various identities that are interconnected with face negotiation theory perspective. Research constructive significance intersubjective phenomenology with qualitative constructivist paradigm. The study found that the inter-state identity constructed in a different manner. Germany builds social identity because of the role of government not of the family. Germany does not take into account the family so that the identity of individual awakes more independent. Chinese social identity constructed by social status, stratum or class. China still sees a group of men as dominant and women as a minority. Socially constructed male identity as it is considered more capable than women. Social identity of opposites so that social structures are built are also different. Similarly, Indonesia, social identity is built almost the same as China, only differentiating factor lies in obedience to carry out the norms and values prevailing in the social strata. Indonesia and China still uphold the cultural dimension of collectivity than Germany Individual dimensions. Using multicultural Public Relations function approach finally be able to recognize the cultural identity of each country and each social identit

    This study aims to see the urgency of understanding the ethics of Islamic communication in an effort to reduce the negative impact that hit Facebook where students of the State Islamic Institute (STAIN) Kediri. Because this situation is contrary to the vision STAIN Kediri who has committed a stabilization center aqidah, good morality, the development of science and a profession that is able to produce graduates who excel intellectually and morally, master of science and technology in order to create a good society. This study used a survey method. The result found that first, many students STAIN Kediri who has not shown good character when a user of Facebook. And secondly, Facebook is used by students STAIN Kediri to argue, in contempt, and a means of contention. An understanding of Islamic ethics of communication required by the students, in order to become the foundation for the user to access Facebook

This research based on the theory of use and gratification and using the quantitative methodology, with quota sampling technique, respondents of PT. MNC Sky Vision Jakarta. The research result shown that there is a relation between the perception of streaming radio and there is a real relationship between the satisfaction of streaming radio
