Pemerintahan Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla Menurut Kacamata 5 Media Massa di Indonesia
Mass media has strong impact to public interest and has formed public perception on issues based on news they published. One of the most popular issues was one year period of Jokowi-Kalla presidential leadership in October 20, 2015. Evaluation, achievement, and reflection of both President and vice president who raise Nawacita program are assumed as indicators of success of them in leading Indonesia. Media objectivity in mass media is the main key in this research because objectivity is very important. The research used quantitative analysis by Robert Entman framing method. It was conducted by text analysis to editorial of five printed media, i.e: Jawa Pos, Kompas, Media Indonesia, Republika, and Tempo, published at October 20, 2015. The research also employs interview and observe secondary sources to as a part of contectual analysis. The result shows objectivity and imparsiality of five printed media in Indonesia in covering Jokowi and Jusuf Kalla presidential leadership. It is shown how media preserve Jokowi-Kalla performance in their 1st year governance as news object
Strategi Periklanan pada Bisnis Retail
This research aims to analyze the benefits of advertising strategy of Poundland. The method used is a qualitative approach because its ability to produce an in-depth description to obtain an authentic understanding of the experience of the people concerned. The study found that Poundland conducted intensive advertising by utilizing important moments such as Halloween, Christmas, Mother Day, etc using Internet media, social media, and e-mail sent 1-2 times per week. Poundland also employs other media such as word of mouth spread among students. Catalog is also used as the print media to reach the consumers. Poundland uses communication technology and take advantage of important moments for advertising strategy. This description can be a reference for retail businesses in Indonesia to pay attention to important events in Indonesia such as national moments and utilizing non-traditional communication technologies as an advertising strategy
Strategi Public Relations Hotel dalam Membentuk Citra Objek Wisata
The purpose of this study is to determine the communication strategy of marketing through public relations approach between hotel and community. The model used in this study is a Public Relations strategy planning model of Cutlip, Center & Broom (2009). Method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by doing participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentary studies and triangulation. Data wrere analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. Result shows that the PR strategy planning model proposed by Cutlip, Center & Broom can support this research
Model Komunikasi Pemasaran Paguyuban Batik Tulis
This study aims to find strategic model for marketing communications of Paguyuban Batik Tulis Giriloyo Bantul in increasing sales. Type of research is qualitative research. Data are collected by observation, document review and interview. The result shows that marketing communication strategy of Paguyuban Batik Tulis Giriloyo Bantul is still familial and simple. The biggest supporting factor in terms of marketing is Yogyakarta get new name predicate as the World Batik City so more people use batik. Inhibiting factor in the marketing communication strategy is lack of competence of marketing division
Corporate Social Responsibility sebagai Strategi Komunikasi Bisnis Perusahaan
This study aims to determine the understanding of the mine repellent group PT.ABC communication strategy through the CSR program. Research using qualitative descriptive approach with the constructivist paradigm. Data collection technique used the techniques of interview and literature study. The study design is done with the design of the case study. The results showed PT.ABC has been running various CSR programs that include four areas of activity: community development, education, health and infrastructure improvements. Nevertheless, the rejection of a repellent group remain. Some of the factors, the program is limited to a certain group, employment is still very limited, and the tendency of corporations to be closed to some sensitive issues like IUP, illegal miners and environmental damage. Constraints faced by the corporation less communicate openly with repellent group, the CSR program is also still limited to a few groups, the limited competence of communicating CSR employee-related mines, as well as the personal interests of the group repellent utilizing the mine issue
Strategi Komunikasi Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN)
This study aims to determine communication strategy of Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) Special Region of Yogyakarta in disseminating Generation Program Planning (GenRe). The study uses descriptive qualitative method. The result shows that communication strategy undertaken by BKKBN Yogyakarta Province in disseminating the program GenRe is through Student Ambassador Selection genre, GenRe Goes To School and GenRe Goes To Campus, Genre Comedy Competition, Poster Competition genre, and Competition NGE - rap genre. BKKBN also uses mass media as a medium of socialization such as Public Service Announcements on television and radio, internet media by creating a website, blog, facebook, and twitter, as well as the use of billboards appeal board. BKKBN also works with schools and colleges to form the Youth Information and Counseling Center / Student (PIK R/M) to get closer to teenagers and college students
Motif Penggunaan Gadget Sebagai Sarana Promosi Bisnis Online di Kalangan Mahasiswa UIN Sunan Kalijaga
The presence of gadgets mainly in the form of smartphones has much to contribute in everyday life, as a media gadget information search, interacting, get entertained, even for the purpose of online business activities for today is widely used among students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This study aimed to describe the motives of use gadgets as online business promotion tool among students UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The research approach uses qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative method, focus of research is the use of gadgets motivation among students. Respondent with purposive sampling. The research found patterns of use gadgets as a means of business promotion online, such as, First, the use of gadgets are considered more convenient, easy and simple to do promotions, Second, Online Business is suitable for small businesses run by selling a variety of products. Third, Doing business online using a gadget or self-awareness initiative of informants in sufficient portion of the needs as well as training yourself to be an independent figure
Wartawan Media Now dalam Mengemas Berita: Perspektif Situational Theory
The study aims to map and describe relationships between concepts of activity of journalists in the media now cloning technology based activities and relationship between news reporters. This study discusses the focus of news coverage in media activities and relationships among the journalists in the era of technology. The theory used is situational theory Grunig and Hunt and descriptive method of Public Relations. The study found that the situation changes in the era of media encourage actions of unscrupulous hunters cloning news. News media such as online media should now be used as the initial data is not the primary data news writing. The presence of media now facilitates the work of journalists but not always produce good quality of news. Otherwise, the presence of technology encourages more active cloning news reporter. Media now can initiate active and apathetic public situations as influenced by quality news content. The presence of media technology changes the image of the relationship between journalists—from person to person or reporter to reporter to journalists with media technology
Literasi Informasi tentang Kemasan Produk Obat Bebas
This study aims to determine the motive of the public to read or understand the information contained on the drug packaging OTC, identify the ability of people to understand information on the the drug packaging OTC and the utilization of existing information. This is a qualitative research. Researchers collected data in the Kepuharjo village, Cangkringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The result shows that the main reason of people reading the instructions on the drug packaging OTC is to be safe after consuming drugs. However, other clue, such as drug side effects is less noticed. Because of consuming drugs is always safe, it makes people repeat in consuming drugs considered suitable for her. People do this in accordance with rules of consuming drugs because they expect to get speedy recovery. The other reason is to make as information or knowledge when they will consume drugs
Gaya Berkomunikasi Dan Adaptasi Budaya Mahasiswa Batak di Yogyakarta
This research aims to understand communication style and cultural adaptation of Bataknese students from North Sumatera studying at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta using theories of intercultural communication, communication style and adaptation. This research employs qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interview and observation among ten Bataknese students from North Sumatera studying at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. The informants are students who went to primary level to high school in North Sumatera province. Data were analyzed by data processing, categorization and data interpretation. The result shows that most of informants speak directly and explicitly. It means that their communication style tends to be low-context communication. They also experienced culture shock in process of cultural adaptation. Overall, informants are able to adapt well in Yogyakarta’s environment. Their openness and willingness to adapt with a new culture help them to be comfort in new environment
