No full textL’articolo presenta alcune osservazioni sul fenomeno dei podcast, focalizzandosi sulla loro breve storia, poco più che ventennale, e sulle caratteristiche (multi)mediali che li contraddistinguono. Analizzando in modo più ravvicinato i podcast educativi, in particolare quelli destinati ad apprendenti l’italiano come L2/LS, vengono individuati i macrogeneri in cui si articolano, i tratti comuni, le potenzialità e i limiti di impiego nel curricolo di italiano L2/LS. Grazie all’esame di alcuni podcast glottodidattici, l’articolo inoltre delinea le loro principali peculiarità linguistiche.
Listen and learn: potential and glottodidactic uses of the podcast
The article presents some observations on the phenomenon of podcasts, focusing on their brief history – just over twenty years – and their (multi)media characteristics. By taking a closer look at educational podcasts, particularly those aimed at learners of Italian as a second or foreign language (L2/LS), the study identifies the main genres they fall into, their common features, potential, and limitations within an Italian L2/LS curriculum. Through the analysis of selected glottodidactic podcasts, the article also outlines their key linguistic features

No full textQuesto studio analizza alcuni tratti morfosintattici dell’italiano regionale campano parlato da migranti srilankesi di prima e seconda generazione. L’obiettivo è esaminare la distribuzione differenziale di tali tratti tra le due generazioni, al fine di comprendere in che modo il processo di integrazione linguistica, tipicamente più marcato nella seconda generazione, si rifletta nel loro comportamento linguistico. Il corpus è composto da 22 parlanti di prima generazione e 18 di seconda generazione, intervistati attraverso un questionario sociolinguistico. I risultati evidenziano una maggiore presenza di tratti regionali nei parlanti di prima generazione rispetto a quelli di seconda, per tutte le variabili analizzate. Questo dato è particolarmente rilevante, poiché indica che il parlato dei nati in Italia risulta meno influenzato dalla varietà regionale rispetto a quello dei loro genitori.
Campanian regional Italian as L2 of first- and second-generation Sri Lankans: a sociolinguistic framework
This study analyzes certain morphosyntactic features of Campanian regional Italian as spoken by first- and second-generation Sri Lankan migrants. The aim is to examine the differential distribution of these features between the two generations in order to understand how the process of linguistic integration, which is typically more pronounced in the second generation, is reflected in their linguistic behavior. The corpus consists of 22 first-generation and 18 second-generation speakers, interviewed using a sociolinguistic questionnaire. The results show a higher incidence of regional features in first-generation speakers compared to those of the second generation across all analyzed variables. This finding is particularly significant, as it indicates that the speech of individuals born in Italy is less influenced by regional variety than that of their parents

No full textUn corpus di lingua scritta di studenti universitari viene analizzato sotto gli aspetti della coerenza, della coesione e dell’architettura testuale. Ci si sofferma in particolare sulla tendenza all’indebolimento logico-semantico di alcuni connettivi, propri dei testi argomentativi, quali infatti, tuttavia, quindi, dunque, perciò; vengono analizzati anche casi di ridondanza, come il tipo quelli che sono in funzione di determinante, e altri casi di deriva della tenuta testuale, morfosintattica e lessico-semantica. Si discute infine il ruolo della scuola, lo scarso peso dedicato alla punteggiatura, l’eventuale tendenza dell’italiano contemporaneo alla rigrammaticalizzazione dei connettivi e la tangenza, per taluni aspetti, dell’italiano universitario con l’italiano popolare.
Cohesion, coherence, horror vacui, and other issues in academic writing
A corpus of written language by university students is analyzed in terms of coherence, cohesion, and textual architecture. Particular attention is paid to the tendency for logical-semantic weakening of certain connectors typical of argumentative texts, such as infatti (in fact), tuttavia (however), quindi (therefore), dunque (thus), perciò (for this reason). Cases of redundancy, such as expressions like quelli che sono (those that are) functioning as determiners, and other instances of textual, morfho-syntactic and lexical-semantic drift are also analyzed. Finally, the discussion touches on the role of the school, along with the limited emphasis placed on punctuation, the potential tendency of contemporary Italian toward the re-grammaticalization of connectors, and the overlap, in some respects, between academic Italian and popular Italian
Democrazia e religioni oltre il concordato e le intese: verso una declinazione partecipativa nei rapporti tra Stato e confessioni religiose?
No full textDemocracy and religions beyond concordat and agreements: towards a participatory declination in relations between the State and religious denominations?
Forty years after the Villa Madama agreement, which amended the Lateran Concordat, and the signing of the first agreement pursuant to Article 8, paragraph 3, of the Italian Constitution with the Waldensian Table, it seems necessary to rethink the instruments of dialogue between the State and religious denominations. This contribution proposes the use of legal instruments specific to participatory democracy in order to create a model based on multilateral dialogue between a plurality of religions, all convened by an authority, body or agency of the state, at national or local level, to address issues of common interest. Such a system would complement, but not replace, the current constitutional model and should be framed within a future general law on religious freedom. For the time being, the issues that could already be the subject of this possible dialogue, especially at the local level, are those relating to the construction of places of worship, the protection of religious cultural heritage and the environment, spiritual assistance in hospitals and the teaching of religion in public schools.

No full textEcclesiastical tax law facing European primacy: new reflections from Constitutional Court no. 20 of 2025
Taking as its starting point the recent judgment of the Constitutional Court No. 20 of 2025, this contribution delves into the state of the art of the interactions between national ecclesiastical law (in its tax sector) and European Union competition law. The raising of a question of constitutionality concerning the regulation of the ‘old’ ICI exemption under Article 7(1)(i) of Legislative Decree No. 504 of 1992 provides the Court with an opportunity to reaffirm the special active force of the law implementing the Villa Madama Agreement (Law No. 121 of 1984). In the background of the dispute looms the dutiful recovery of unpaid ICI for the tax years 2006-2011, ordered by the European Commission with Decision of 3 March 2023 (2103/2023/EU) and recently regulated by the national legislator with Decree-Law no. 131 of 2024. Although it did not materialise in the present case, a conflict between the self-executing legislation protecting competition and a favourable discipline derived from concordat law could evoke the spectre of counter-limits to EU law.

We are now all part of an efficient and competitive economic development model which, in indulging the frenzy of technological progress and its excessive use in a trend of consumerism and waste, has proved unsustainable for the planet and for humankind, leading to environmental degradation and increasing inequality, injustice and the marginalisation of humanity. This contribution aims to counter this pernicious trend by highlighting the need to educate people in the ethical use of new technologies, spreading the principles of algorethics that are being developed thanks to the contribution of religious denominations. By promoting the fundamental values of human dignity and respect for the entire ecosystem, some religious bodies and associations, as well as other collective organisations with various ethical inspirations, use digital technologies to combine the need to protect the common good with that of ensuring the full realisation of their group identity. In fact, there are virtuous examples of smart collective dynamics, in which groups of individuals use multimedia platforms and artificial intelligence to achieve worthwhile goals such as social well-being, conscious consumption, saving, limiting waste and environmental pollution, sharing cultural heritage, reducing inequalities, socialising people through the internet, etc.

No full textThe aim of this article is to analyse the role of the musical performer, noting its particularities, and to present an hypothesis concerning the ideal status of the musical work of art. We will observe the development of musical notation, oriented towards an unattainable perfection, establishing its intrinsic limits, its vagueness and conventionality. We will try to delineate to what extent we can speak of the freedom of the performer and the functioning of the complex empathic relationship that the performer establishes with the author and the listener. Finally, we will see how Kantian aesthetic philosophy can offer support for our discussion

Il suo intervento aveva per titolo “L’esperienza empatica nella società del conflitto”, come il suo libro del 2018, dal quale avevo tratto numerosi spunti per l’organizzazione dell’intero ciclo di conferenze. La sua partecipazione è stata preziosa per tutti noi. Alla stesura di un articolo nato da questa esperienza, Laura ha però preferito un altro “gioco” e mi ha chiesto delle domande come base di partenza per uno scritto più libero. Naturalmente ho accettato la formula, che ora propongo ai lettori: qui sotto trovate la mia raccolta di domande (dalle quali, secondo il gioco, lei avrebbe potuto scegliere quali considerare e quali scartare).
