    The Evolution of Islamic Preaching by the Existence of Smartphones

    This study aims to get an overview of the development of Islamic Preaching through smartphones in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenology design. This study examined the phenomenon of the booming of Preaching content on social media since Preaching through social media is currently in demand, as indicated by the emergence of a large number of the preacher, especially in Indonesia. The experience and motive of such phenomenon became the basis of this study’s analysis using phenomenological methods and Alfred Schutz’s theory. The results demonstrated a change in the Preaching of the preacher. The spirit of delivering Preaching (through writings) is based on two types of motives. First, individuals are eager (to) receive a blessing from Allah and be ‘ghirah.’ Second, the convenience and facilities available in smartphone technology have triggered the development of social media platforms that eventually support the delivery of Preaching.

    Prostitusi daring remaja semakin marak. KPAI menyebutkan angka pekerja anak yang dimanfaatkan dalam kegiatan prostitusi (offline/online) tahun 2020 di berbagai kota termasuk di Kota Manado sangat memprihatinkan. Eksploitasi seks daring adalah bagian dari kekerasan berbasis gender online yang selama pandemi jumlahnya meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang eksploitasi seks daring pada remaja di Kota Manado di masa pandemi. Metode penelitian adalah studi kasus. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penggunaan media sosial dan aplikasi pesan instan oleh remaja untuk tujuan perdagangan jasa seks banyak ditemukan. Informasi yang disampaikan pada akun pelaku yaitu tarif, syarat penggunaan jasa, ciri diri, nomor ponsel dan testimoni. MiChat merupakan aplikasi yang paling banyak digunakan. Pada fitur ‘nearby’, ditemukan banyaknya akun yang menyediakan jasa seks. Akun-akun ini dikelola oleh mucikari dan juga pekerja seks. Remaja usia 14--18 tahun baik sebagai pekerja maupun mucikari menjadi pasar potensial bagi industri seks dengan cara diperdagangkan maupun memperdagangkan diri sendiri. Mereka kebanyakan dieksploitasi oleh pacar sendiri melalui aplikasi MiChat dengan alasan ekonomi. Pemprov Sulawesi Utara telah mengeluarkan surat edaran untuk pembatasan penggunaan gadget bagi para pelajar namun sisi lain pandemi justru membuat pelajar menggunakan gadget setiap hari.     The pandemic of the Covid-19 Virus was used by hoax producers as momentum to spread false information. It has also happened in Bali Province. All parties must cooperate to stop the spread of hoaxes and additional media were needed to verify the correctness of the information and convey facts to the public. This research examined the category of hoaxes related to Covid-19 and the use of the “Bali Carify” social media account as a medium for publishing fact-checking results as well as educating the public about the 7 categories of hoaxes. This research used two data sources: reports were released by Bali Province Office of Communication, Information, and Statistic (Diskominfos) and social media monitoring results. Data collection techniques use secondary data in the form of journals, books, and mass media that were relevant to the problems in the study. The object of this research was hoaxes related to Covid-19. This research applied the theory of classification hoaxes into seven categories and theory to verify the correctness of the information. Data analysis was performed inductively.  The data period was limited to only from January to June 2020 (six months). From 14 samples of hoax data that content was related to the Covid-19 phenomenon in Bali, one data was taken that can represent the hoax in the specified category. The results found that there were six categories of hoaxes circulating in Bali, namely parody, misleading content, fake content, fake content, false context, and manipulated content

    Opportunities for Using Technology Industry 4.0 to Overcome the Negative Effect of The Covid-19 Pandemi

    Currently the Covid-19 pandemic has affected us a lot, both in personal behavior, or especially in the economic sector which continues to deteriorate due to the closure of regions and / or restrictions on human movement. Many companies have closed, and many have become bankrupt because they had to close their companies. Various stimulus programs and efforts have been made by both the companies themselves and each countries to overcome this problem. On the other hand, in Indonesia the concept of Industry 4.0, which is currently developing rapidly, was proclaimed by President Joko Widodo at the beginning of his second term government. The concept of Industry 4.0 has been developed since 2015 and is now still under developing to be applied in the world. This concept is based on digitalization and ICT networks to carry out production. In addition, the goal of the industrial 4.0 concept is to produce a production system capable of producing revolutionary system that can produce customized product taht being produce in mass production way and therefore able to open up a new market niche. Since then, there are much progress been done by the government in its efforts to apply the industry 4.0 concept to all lines. But the problem is, is it true that what is being implemented is industry 4.0? Also, will the technologies and management concepts promoted by Industry 4.0 be able to overcome the current Covid-19 pandemic conditions if they have been implemented? This paper seeks to explore this theoretically, by looking at key technologies from Industry 4.0 that might solve the problem of the Covid-19 pandemic. There are several technologies from Industry 4.0 that can overcome the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, for example AI and Additive manufacturing.     Mobile Operator 4G Network Performance in Capital of East Kalimantan during the Covid19 Pandemic

    The 4th-Generation Long Term Evolution or 4G-LTE technology as data access and high-level wireless connections is an offer for internet service providers(ISPs) and competition in an effort to expand the network area in the mainland of Borneo. Although it continues to grow, however, in several urban areas in Kalimantan the cellular network is not evenly distributed. Further exploration studies are needed on the performance of the 4G-LTE network to optimize benefits and satisfy network users 4G LTE technology allows users to no longer be limited in space and become a solution to ensure connection continuity and data access speed. Service provider competition in an effort to increase its network coverage in Indonesia. Although it continues to improve, in practice. This study measures the quality of service experience (QOSE) the received signal power (RSRP/RSRQ) and noise ratio (SNR) on the 4G-LTE networks from three ISPs in the capital city of East Kalimantan Province. Measuring network signal quality using walk-test methods, Samarinda City Geographically It\u27s a hilly and forested area. Measurement data analysis results of the 4G-LTE signals from the three ISPs have changed the RSRP, RSRQ, and SNR values. Some measuring points experienced a decrease in signal strength due to propagation loss factors such as the presence of dense and tall trees or buildings creating propagation to occur: spreading or diffraction and reflection.     Abstract – Soybean is a pods plants that were use a base component to make food such as tempe and tofu. Soybean has a few kind of shapes, circle, circle and flat, oval, oval and flat. Soybean also has a few kinds which is white soybean, black soybean and green soybean (edamame). On this article the accuration level from recognation of those 3 kinds will be compared based on the portrait distance. There were three distance, 10 cm, 15 cm and 20 cm. Feature extraction that used is GLCM and recognation using backpropagation algorithm. The result after preprocessing, feature extraction with GLCM and recognation with backpropagation algorithm with the portrait distance of 10 cm accuration level is 100%, 15 cm accuration level is 99.07% and 20 cm accuration level is 77.22%Keywords: Soybean, GLCM, Backpropagatio

    Online Prostitution: Trends of The Commercial Sex Service Industry in Social Media

    The disclosure of various cases of online prostitution in recent years by the police shows that this industry is becoming a trend in online media. Whereas in Indonesia prostitution remains an illegal business and a crime regulated in the KUHP and the ITE Law. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the trends in the commercial sex services industry on social media. The research method is literature study. The results show that the development of e-commerce in general dominates the world market is directly proportional to the development of the commercial sex service industry in online media. The system of selling sex services has changed from conventional systems to modern markets, namely in information, financial and service transactions. Online prostitution information transactions on social media are very open. It can be seen from the services offered, prices, payment methods, rules for using services to customer testimonials. Payment transactions are also more practical and profitable because the process uses a transfer system to the account of the service provider. Although there are still those that impose direct cash payments at the service execution location. Internet technology makes it possible to run a business, promote, increase the income of actors, and reach a wider market. Prospective users can also order services directly through social media/online booking sites without having to go to localization. This is what makes the online sex service industry never die

    Konsep Diri dan Self disclosure Pegawai Honorer dalam Komunikasi Antar Pribadi dengan Pegawai Negeri Sipil

    Indonesia merupakan Negara yang memiliki jutaan tenaga honorer di berbagai sektor. Selama ini, tenaga honorer tidak memiliki jenjang karir yang jelas. Topik mengenai tenaga honorer selalu hangat diperbicangkan, tenaga honorerpun berharap mendapatkan angin segar terhadap nasib mereka yang tidak memiliki jenjang karir maupun tunjangan selayaknya PNS pada umumnya. Beberapa penelitian telah mengkaji bagaimana hubungan antara Self disclosure dan konsep diri terhadap mahasiswa, remaja difable maupun Self disclosure melalui media. Namun demikian belum ada penelitian yang terkonsentrasi pada konsep diri dan Self disclosure atau keterbukaan diri tenaga honorer ketika mereka berkomunikasi dengan PNS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran konsep diri dan self disclosure pegawai honorer dalam berkomunikasi interpersonal dengan pegawai negeri sipil. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. subjek pada penelitian ini adalah pegawai honorer yang telah bekerja kurang lebih selama lima tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam dan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan mereduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri subjek dalam berkomunikasi dengan pegawai negeri sipil cenderung positif. Self disclosure subjek dalam berkomunikasi dengan pegawai negeri sipil cenderung rendah sehingga komunikasi interpersonal yang lebih dalam jarang terjadi

    Structural Model to Predict Satisfaction and Performance Users of SIKD at Government Organizations in South Kalimantan

    The successful adoption of ICT by local governments still requires evaluation because of several issues related to the use and utilization of the SIKD. The variety of SIKD applications, limited server, and network capacity, limited human resource personnel, and lack of technical guidance because regulatory changes put pressure on user satisfaction and performance. Academic evaluation of SIKD adoption from the user\u27s perspective is needed to explore advanced concepts of e-government development. The research model was analyzed with the Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach. The results showed the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, subjective norms, and facilitating conditions influenced user satisfaction and subsequently, user satisfaction affected user performance. The conceptual framework tested in this study was able to show that under conditions of ICT mandatory use by organizations, behavioral beliefs influence user satisfaction and have an important impact on user performance

    A Prototype of Monitoring and Early Warning System of Public Water Flow Interference based on Arduino, Firebase Realtime DB, and Android

    The majority of the population uses clean water sourced from the PDAM (Indonesian Regional Water Supply Company) pipeline to meet their daily needs. However, clean water utilization is sometimes not smooth because the upstream\u27s water supply is stalled or the PDAM pipeline disrupted. This disruption that often occurs slowly causes routine community activities, such as bathing or cooking, become stop because clean water is a basic need. Thus, a system is needed to provide early warning when the PDAM water supply starts to have problems so that the community can make initial anticipation. This study designed a prototype of an early warning system using an Arduino-based water flow sensor that records water flow discharge data on the PDAM pipeline and sent to the Firebase Realtime Database to be monitored in real-time through an Android application. The system testing is done by black-box testing, i.e. we check all functions of this system, mainly on sending a warning notification when the water flow debt is at a low rate. In the end, by using this system, the user can prepare themselves early, such as collecting residual water debit in the tub and save water when there is a disruption in PDAM water
