P-Convexity Property in Musielak-Orlicz Function Space of Bohner Type
In this paper, we described about Musielak-Orlicz function spaces of Bochner type. It has been obtained that Musielak-Orlicz function space of Bochner type becomes a Banach space. It is described also about P-convexity of Musielak-Orlicz function space of Bochner type. It is proved that the Musielak-Orlicz function space of Bochner type is P-convex if and only if both spaces and X are P-convex.©2017 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved
Quality of Yeast Extract of Industry Yeast Press Alcohol waste as Drying result with Various Temperature Variation
The content of yeast in industrial solid waste fermented beverages, has not been widely noticed and utilized, whereas many sources of nitrogen, vitamins and minerals are still present in this yeast. One of the utilization of waste yeast is processed into autolysis yeast extract. The drying process is often done using a spray dryer, but the process is costly so it is not efficient. In this study, we want to determine the temperature and drying time appropriate for maintain of yeast extract quality of yeast press. From this research, we concluded that a drying oven at 60 ° C for 6 hours is drying which does not damage the nutrient (protein, vitamine B2, carbohydrate, prolin, and lysin content) in yeast extract.©2016 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. The Influence of Waste of Pineapple’s Peel (Ananas Comosus (L) Merr) As The Source of Bromelain Enzyme to Increase Meat (Local Beef) Quality
The subjects of this research are waste of pinepple’s peel (Ananas Comosus (L) Merr) and local beef that were obtained from Jrakah traditional market, Ngaliyan-Semarang. The data technique analysis of this research is descriptive statistics. The result of this research shows that there is influence of waste of pineapple’s peel as source of bromelain enzyme to increase meat quality, especially tenderness. The higher the bromelain enzyme concentration used, the more tender the meat, although will be may increase the score of cooking loss. The meat that is submerged with the highest concentration (40%) of bromelain enzyme solution has score of 0.6662 and 45% of cooking loss. The organoleptic quality identification of meat that is submerged with bromelain enzyme solution, generally is better than the control meat. The meat that is submerged with bromelain enzyme solution gives better appearance, flavor, juiceness, and tenderness than the control meat. © 2015 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved
Desaign of Converter Hijri Calendar to Ad Calendar for Determaning Islamic Great Days Using Matlab
This research is motivated by the importance of knowing an Islamic great day calendar on AD calendar. It was intended to answer the question: How to design converter Hijri calendar to AD calendar for determining Islamic great days using Matlab? The research used ‘design’ method, because it was one of activities to translate the result of analysis to software form and also used to develop an existing application. This application made by a Matlab software. Matlab was a conversion tool to determine Islamic great days. Data of this research was obtained from questionnaire. And all the questionnaire datum was used to design application. The technique of feasibility analysis application was obtained from a validation. It was using black-box method. The result showed that the application was made by three ways: First, making an appearance in GUI Matlab appropriate with interface design application. Second, entering the script in each menu of application. Third, entering JD formula in application that were already functioning. ©2016 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved
Classical Cryptography of Wind's Eye Cell Circles
This classic cryptographic algorithms was designed from the concept of cardinal directions and the S-box. circles Concept given 16 directions winds and 8 circles lined with each cells according to ASCII table. The process of encryption algorithm using two kinds of key symbol that are (k1) form 16 symbols of the wind, and (k2) is a 7-bit binary number. plaintext encryption process become chiperteks1 with forming angle against north wind and k1 roomates are from plaintext rotating accordance angle formed. Chipertext 1 to chipertext 2 using binary numbers divided become r1 as directions displacement away from the center circle and r2 move with rotating around the center circle. Spinning process followed directions clockwise circle if even if odd and vice versa. Decryption process is done by doing a backward on the algorithm by using the key k2 (r2 then r1) and then r1. Spins counter-encryption process. ©2016 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved
Kinetics Study of Cd2+ and Zn2+ Metal Ion Adsorption Using Zeolite 4A
Cd (II) and Zn (II) are examples of heavy metal contaminants in waters that cause serious problems because of their toxicity. Therefore, it is necessary to take effective way to remove heavy metal ions from waters. Adsorption method is widely used because it has several advantages, namely high efficiency, easy handling, reusable, inexpensive, and many choices of materials that are used as adsorbent. One effective adsorbent used is a zeolite because it has high selectivity. This study aims to determine the kinetic model suitable for the process of Cd2+ and Zn2+ metal ion adsorption using Zeolite 4A as an adsorbent. The study was conducted by varying the contact time (10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 and 180 minutes). The results showed that the Cd2+ adsorption process followed the pseudo-second-order model with a value of k = 0.205 g mg-1 min-1, R2 = 0.998, while the Zn2+ adsorption process followed the pseudo-second-order model with a value of k = 0.087 g mg-1 min-1, R2 = 0.995.. ©2017 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. Analysis of Angklung Sound Intensity as a Acoustic Instrument
The purpose of this study was to analysis of angklung sound intensity. The research method is using angklung musician 2 octaves. Each consists of two tube tone that sounded from the tone of G to G ', length and diameter of the tube every tone becomes independent variable, while intensity of the sound produced becomes dependent variable. Sound intensity is measured using a Sound Level Meter is placed with a constant distance. The result showed that G tone was a low tone which had a frequency of 49.5 Hz, first tube had 21.6 cm length and 4.1 cm diameter, second tube had 10.1 cm length and 3.4 cm diameter produced the sound intensity of 90.7 dB. G’ tone was a high tone which had a frequency of 99 Hz, first tube had 10 cm length and 3 cm diameter, second tube had 5.5 cm length and 2.1 cm diameter produced the sound intensity of 99.1 dB. It can be concluded that the higher the frequency, the greater the intensity of the sound produced. The shorter tube length and the smaller tube diameter, the greater the intensity of the sound. ©2016 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved
Morphological Characteristics and Kinship Relationship of Mushroom Schizophyllum commune Fr.
Schizophyllum commune is a mushroom from the division of Basidiomycota which abundance at rainy season on wood that have been moldered for its habitat. S. commune has been distributed widely at various types of wood habitat (jack fruit, bamboo, rubber, mango etc). Existence of this mushroom has not been known as well as any mushroom are able to be consumed/edible yet. In Java, the societies who have known it as consumption mushroom called it with local name jamur gigit. Jamur gigit is potential to become food material and based on organoleptic test indicates that jamur gigit is more delicious from oyster mushroom. The purpose of research is to investigate the morphology character of S. commune at various growth phases and to study the S. commune relationship in Java. The result of this research is expected can give information about morphology character of S. commune in each its growth phase and to understand S. commune relationship in Java. Sample for research has been collected in 3 areas in Java. The macroscopic morphology character and microscopic character of S. commune were observed.
