    APPLICATION OF PHOSPHATE SOLUBILIZING FUNGI FROM ISOLATE ULTISOL PADANG BULAN MEDAN INCREASED GROWTH OF CORN (Zea mays L)

    Phosphate solubilizing fungi from ultisol acid soil can be used as biological fertilizer to increase corn growth. Field experiment to be done to know effect of Phosphate solublizing fungi (PSF) and anorganic P fertilizer on corn on ultisol. The Randomly Complete Block design used that consist two factors, eg. fungi of PSF and anorganic P fertilizer. Factor fungi of PSF (M) with four levels : M0 = without PSF; M1= PSF from corn rizhosphere (10 ml/plant hole); M2= PSF from chilli rizhosphere (10 ml/plant hole) and M3=PSF from banana rizhosphere. (10 ml/plant hole). Second factor was anorganic P fertilizer (P) with three levels: P0= without anorganic P fertilizer; P1= halp of anorganic P fertilizer recomendation dosage and P2= anorganic P fertilizer recomendation dosage. Results showed that application of PSF increased plant hight of plant hingher than without PSF. Anorganic P fertilizer application increased, hight of plant hei significant.Application.of anorganik P fertilizer increased stemp diamter very sinificant but not significant on plant heiggth.     This research aims to determine the effect of the use of land area, labor, seed, fertilizer, and pesticides / stimulants against cucumber production in cultivation in the research location.Furthermore it also to determine the optimization level of the use of production inputs as well as the feasibility of the cultivation.In obtaining the data used qualitative research method which is a case study. Selection of research location is done purposely.Sample selection method is using Simple Random Sampling with the sample size as many as 30 people.Data analysis method using the model of CobbDouglas production function, output elasticity, R/C and B/C financial analysis, and descriptively. The research result,use of production inputs simultaneously affect production significantly, while partially, production inputs which significantly affect the increase in production is land area and fertilizer, while other production inputs ie seed, labor, and pesticide / stimulants not affect production significantly.Level optimization of production inputs land area and fertilizer yet efficient, while production inputs seed, tenaga kerja, and pesticides / stimulants not efficient.     AbstractThe research of grafting methyl methacrylate (MMA) onto Cyclic Natural Rubber (CNR) has been carried out. Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) was used as a inisiator and temperature condition at 90oC with variation of time 1 and 2 hours. Grafting process was done with technique of reflux in a tree-neck flask with condenser and oil bath. Spectra analysis FTIR performed for determine the presence of grafted MMA on the backbone of CNR. The results showed that the product CNR-g-MMA was formed with the marked appearance of the absorption peak wave numbers at 1731 and 1730 cm-1 (carbonyl group absorption) typical for carbonyl (C = O) of metal methacrylate.     This study aimed to determine the effect of solid waste (sludge) and liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The design used was a factorial randomized block design (RAK-F) with 2 factors were investigated, namely: Factors solid waste (sludge) (S) consists of 3 levels ie S0 = without giving, S1 = 2.5 kg / plot and S2 = 5 kg / plot. Organic Liquid Fertilizer Factor Super ACI (A) divided into 3 levels ie A1 = 1 cc / l, A2 = 2 cc / l, A3 = 3 cc / l. The parameters measured were plant height (cm), number of branches (branches), leaf number (strands), number of fruits per plant (fruit), fruit weight per plant (g), and fruit length (cm), number of fruit per plot (fruit). Results showed that administration of solid waste (sludge) has significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of branches, number of leaves, number of fruit per plot, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, and length of fruits per plant. With a dose of the best applications that S2 (5 kg / plot). Liquid organic fertilizer Super ACI significant effect on the parameters of the number of fruit per plot, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant and fruit length per plant. Best application that A3 (3 cc / l). combination of solid waste (sludge) with a liquid organic fertilizer Super ACI provides the interaction parameter the number of fruit per plot, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, and length of fruits per plant.     This study aimed to determine the effect of organic manure on growth and yield of two varieties of sweet corn (Zea Mays saccharata Sturt). Implemented in Jl. Door Air IV B Simalingkar village, subdistrict of Medan Medan Johor, with 25 m altitude above sea level in April 2013 to July 2013 using the design Plots Divided (RPT). Factors studied consists of two varieties and liquid organic fertilizer. The difference between the two varieties (V) as the main plot consists of two levels and V1 = V2 = jamboree Varieties Varieties bonanza and given liquid organic fertilizer is fertilizer Santamicro (S) as the subplot consisted of 4 levels ie at concentrations of 0, 1, 2, and 3 ml / liter of water, each with a symbol S0, S1, S2, and S3. The results showed that the liquid organic fertilizer higher Santamicro gave the highest yield in ear length, ear diameter, ear weight per plant, and weight of cobs per plot with a concentration of 3 ml / liter of water. Plant sweet corn varieties jamboree gives a higher influence on plant height and number of leaves. The combination of organic liquid fertilizer concentration Santamicro with two sweet corn varieties provide tangible interactions on the growth and yield of sweet corn.     This research was conducted to know the effect of production factors (land, seeds, labor, and fertilizers) on the cassava farming income, to know the feasibility of the cassava farming. Census method is used on this research, took all the population of the sample through the method of Cobb-Douglas analysis of, Descriptive and R / C ratio. The results of the research of land variable, seeds, labor and fertilizers significant effect and simultaneously (synchronously) to the income of the cassava farmers. In partial significant effect of land variable. Meanwhile the variable of seeds, labor and fertilizers had no significant effect on the the cassava farming income.     AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of rice husk ash and fertilizer seprint as well as the interaction between rice husk ash and fertilizer on the growth and production seprint watermelon plants by using a design Plots Divided (Split Plot Design) with two factors studied namely rice husk ash as the main plots with namely two-stage treatment without rice husk ash (A0) and using rice husk ash (A1). Fertilizer seprint as subplot with three-stage treatment is a dose of 3 ml / L (S1), 6 ml / L (S2) and 9 ml / L (S3) while the measured parameter is the length of plant, age started flowering, age begin to harvest, diametre and the weight of fruits. Research suggests that the use of rice husk ash can significantly affect the parameters of fruit diameter, but not significantly affect the length of the plant parameters, age starts to flower and begin to harvest age.
