    DISSEMINATION SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGY RAINFED RICE THROUGH PTT APPROACH

    Dissemination is the activity of action-reaction not only affects the mindset of the target group but can also be the person who brings the innovation itself. The notion that the new dissemination carried out after the completion of the research process, in principle needs to be changed. Dissemination process has to take place during the research process begins proportionally. This study aims to identify the potential, constraints, and opportunities for the development of rainfed lowland rice through the approach of Integrated Crop Management, an innovative approach in order to increase the efficiency of paddy rice by combining various technology components, including specific technologies that support each other with regard to the use of resources wisely nature that impact the growth and productivity of plants. The method used is to assess the needs and opportunities of rainfed rice farmers in the WKPP Paya Itik Desa Nogorejo. Based on the research needs and opportunities then drafted the main technological packages which are then studied and practiced together between farmers, researchers and agricultural extension as a facilitator, to conduct a demonstration plot of 1 Ha. The results showed that the main obstacle to scale farmers first priority is the seed, and the productivity of rainfed rice integrated crop management approaches have increased an average of 1.1 tons / ha (tile), with the value of B / C ratio 1, 42.Keywords: Rice Rainfed , Integrated Crop Management , Productivi

    BAKSO OF SEEDS LAMTORO (LEUCAENA LEUCOCEPHALA) WITH ADDING EGG WHITE AND OLD BOILING (The addition of egg whites and long boiling on the quality of the seed meatballs lamtoro)

    This study aims to know how do make the addition of egg whites and long boiling on the quality of the seed meatballs lamtoro. This study using completely randomized design ( RAL) with two factors. The first factors is addition of egg whites (P), which consists of 4 levels, namely: (P1=10% , P2 = 15%, P3 = 20%, and P4 = 25%). The second Factors is long boiling (L) which consists of 4 levels, namely : (L1 = 10 minute, L2 = 15 minute, L3 = 20 minute, and L4 = 25 minute). Parameters analyzed were protein content, carbohydrate content, tannins content, and organoleptic values of texture, aroma ,and taste.The research result to addition of egg whites gives highly significant effect to protein content, ,organoleptic texture, aroma, and taste, while no significant effect on carbohydrate content, andtannins content. while the long boiling gives highly significant effect on organoleptic texture content, aroma content, and taste content while no significant effect on protein content,carbohydrate content, and tannins content.The interaction between addition of egg whites and long boiling gives no significant effect on protein content, carbohydrate content, tannins content, and organoleptic values of texture, aroma ,and taste. The best comparison treatment in increasing the number of addition of egg whites is 25% and long boiling that is 10 minute.this is because the process of making meatballs from the seeds of this lamtoro give texture, aroma and taste good.Keywords: egg whites, lamtoro seeds, water, tapioka flour, wheat flour, meatball

    DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING THE TYPES OF PLANTS IN AGRICULTURAL LAND BY USING SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING (SAW)

    The problem faced by every farmer in general, ie lack of knowledge to determine the exact species of plants and suitable for planting on a farm. Determination of the proper plant species in an area greatly affected agricultural production resulting from the land. Assessment of a farm seen from kessuaian land cover classes and characteristics of agricultural land suitability. On agricultural land characteristics specified criteria to support the assessment of a region. The criteria in question is rainfall, shape Territory / slope, soil texture, soil structure, drainage class, erodibility, soil fertility. Keputuan Support System is very useful in helping decision-makers in determining the best option. This is because the system is supported by a process of ranking the alternatives that will get the best of several alternatives. This system is presented with the Simple Additive weighting method (SAW) can complete the study by finding the weights for each attribute value then the best alternative available.     THE EFFECT OF ADDING TEMPE FLOUR AND TIME OF PROLONG BOILING ON THE QUALITY OF THE OYSTER MUSHROOM SAUSAG ( PLEUROTUS OSTREATUS)

    The research on the effect of adding tempe flour and time of prolong boiling on the quality of the oyster mushroom sausage ( pleurotus ostreatus) with Design Random Complete Method with two (2) replications. Factor I is the concentration of tempe flour that is: K1=5%, K2=10%, K3=15%, K4=20%. Factor II is long boiling (L) consisting of four levels, that is: L1 = 15 minute, L2 = 20 minute, L3 = 25 minute, dan L4 = 30 minute. The parameters observed: protein, water content, texture, organoleptic aroma and flavor. The statistical analysis was obtained, that Consentration tempe flour providing highly significant effect (P0.01) to protein, water content, texture, organolepticaroma and flavor. The long boiling providing highly significant effect (P0.01) to water content, texture,organoleptic aroma, and flavor and had no significant effect (P0.05) to protein.Keyword: Sausage, Oyster Mushroom, Tempe Flour, Time of Prolong Boilin

    ABSTRACTIn context farming activities of the people in Deli Serdang regency, especially poultry found two models of implementation that can be compare the effectiveness and efficiency, which is independent of livestock and livestock partner. In practice, more common people of independent farms, although with limitations, compared with cattle that generally supported partnering with strong funding and facilities of the partner companies. But it can not be denied, that although the company was providing facilities to farmers in partnership, the income of independent farmers is precisely at times better than the farmer partners. The results of this study clearly show that total revenue well above independent breeders partner. This paradoxical incident allegedly because independent farmers do not depend on the company partnership (in terms of policy and price), free to sell on the market and more cost-efficient production although acclaimed independent farmer must have more capital. It appears that the presence of the company partnered with the breeder people do not always provide satisfactory results in terms of both production and income. Therefore required a more in-depth understanding of all parties that partnership, so that in practice actually escorted such a way that can be run in accordance with the concept of partnership has been agreed previously.     Poverty rice farmers is an actual problem that is being surrounded people who need to look for solution of the problem and strategies to overcome them. Still encountered problems in implementation, so that the rice farmers in the village Tukka District of Central Tapanuli still poor, can not meet all the basic needs as clothing, food and shelter. This study aims to reveal and analyze the factors causing poverty rice farmers. The results showed that poverty rice farmers in the village Tukka caused by the mental attitude of the farmers themselves, the lack of agricultural inputs and the lack of government incentives system, so the production and quality of the crop continued to decline, which in turn will lead to lower income farmers.Keywords: Farmers paddy, poverty, incom

Utilization of chemical fertilizer caused decreased soil quality, which fertilizer respond was less that indicated by production that hard to increase while fertilizer dosage was increased every year so farm cost more expensive especially for buy fertilizer. This problem must be solved by applicated res earch result for farmer with utilized harvest waste as organic fertilizer by composting.     Micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the economy has an important role and strategis.Pembinaan and pengembanganUMKM is a necessity in order to improve the regional economy. Given the variety and range of SME varies widely both in quantity and coverage is almost at all sectors of the economy so that it appears management problems of SMEs that do not focus on commodities and potensial.Kondisi type of business that can have impact on the promotion and development of SMEs which do not have efektif.Penelitian aims to determine the life cycle of commodities and types of businesses as well as the strategy of development of SMEs featured in Tanjungbalai so that it can support the improvement of the regional economy in KotaTanjungbalai. The data used in the analysis method Product Life Cycle analysis and SWOT analysis. The results showed that fish salting business, financial services, trade of fishery products, aquaculture clams, sea fishing, the fish meal industry business, the business of merchants of agricultural and minimarket business has relatively better prospects when compared to fish farming ditambak and budidaya.Sedangkan development potential varies from very high, high and medium.
